Fantastic experience: After my usual dentist left to have a baby I was extremely anxious about having any further treatment...dont really know why I was so scared, as all the dentists and their nurses are amazing. They take time to listen to your concerns and put you at ease. My treatment there has been excellent. Thank you all so much

Fantastic experience: After much indecision I had composite bonding on my front incisor tooth, and I couldn't be happier with the results! My tooth was chipped due to bruxism following the stress of some recent bereavements. After addressing the bruxism with a night guard my dentist Zahra suggested composite bonding to prevent the tooth from further damage. I’m still overwhelmed with how natural the result is. I couldn't believe the surprise when I was handed the mirror as I hadn’t seen myself look like in a long time. I hadn't realised it had bothered me so much and had just been concerned about the cost and if it was worth it. I'm planning to take good care of it and appreciate the amazing job done by my skilful dentist who restored my smile.

Fantastic experience: Not sure if I've written a review before but just in case I haven't.. I'm a very nervous patient at the dentist, have always had anxiety. Firstly I love that I have nervous patient on my form which means the staff are always aware of it. Secondly for the last few years or so I've had Phillipa and she's absolutely brilliant. She always puts me at ease & I've ended up enjoying my visits which is not like me at all! I find she's as gentle as she can be doing the treatments which have been so easy with my recent visits She also remembers details of things we've talked about like asking me about my recently adopted cat today which was very unexpected & so lovely, my last appointment was like 7 months ago and she has a lot of patients so either she was able to remember that detail or thought to make a note of it to revisit, either way that's above and beyond to me I literally think about how if I moved house I would feel stressed about finding a new dentist! Just a review of appreciation for the practice & specifically Phillipa, thanks team

The dentist explained what he was doing every step of the way and demonstrated how the tools worked and what to expect. He used language she understood and regularly checked she was okay throughout the procedure. I highly recommend this practice and the dentists/dental nurses.

I called in on emergency and from the receptionist being enthusiastic to help me and fit me To both the dentist and dental nurse being super polite and helpful, putting me out of pain. The last dentist I went to was really rude and essentially left me to suffer. This dentist searched for an answer and found one. We need more dentists like these, serving and caring for people from all walks of life. Thank you Baddow Dental Practice, definitely 5 stars from me!

Fantastic experience: This is the best Dentist in Chelmsford I must say. The lovely ladies at the reception and the dentist and the nurse are all amazing. They are all very professional and kind. Fantastic experience: I really hate going to the dentist and get very anxious, generally I wait until it’s necessary before going and today I woke with a toothache so called them up. I was able to get an appointment for the same day which is great. I didn’t tell the dentist or nurse that I was anxious so their service was irrelevant to this. Both Zara and Megan who were my dentist and nurse (I hope that’s the right job titles) were brilliant from beginning to end. They asked me lots of questions to understand what could be causing my pain, examined the area and then did X-rays. The patient after me happened to cancel their apt so as I hadn’t been to a dentist for 3 years they offered to also do a full check up and X-ray of the rest of my teeth. I ended up needing 3 fillings and some advice on my gum health and both Zara and Megan were brilliant. They answered all my questions, gave me treatment options, compared costs of nhs/private for the fillings and made me feel very comfortable. I was very happy with the service from start to finish and came away with a little more faith in dentists. I would happy see both of them again (ideally before I get toothache) and feel a lot less anxious next time :)

Fantastic experience: Attended Baddow Dental Surgery today 14 August 2023 for a checkup with a new dentist Vanita Sharma for first time. She was excellent and took a lot of care and made me feel at ease from start to finish I was thoroughly impressed. The dental nurses and receptionists were excellent too. Fantastic experience: I have been at this dentist for many years and always had a good service. I have a wedding approaching and I wanted my teeth to look the best that they can. Arun provided me with a dental plan, which included whitening, fillings and crowns being replaced for a bridge to hide a gap I had. He was straight forward with me from the off about the cost of each treatment and even told me that he didn’t think I needed a white filling after my whitening, therefore saving me some money. I am beyond impressed with the outcome and cannot thank Arun and the team enough.

Phillipa our dentist along with her assistant (sorry unsure of her name) were both so professional and friendly. We have been back to the dentist for various treatments over the last few months and they have been exceptional each time. Fantastic experience: The most welcoming and friendly dental nurses/reception staff, and dentists/hygienists, of any practice I've been too. The reception staff are polite and genuine and arrange helpful reminders for appointments. The dentists/hygienists are calming and speak in words anyone can understand, and they're very efficient - sure to tell you the do's and don'ts of dental hygiene, great for cutting through the Internet myths! A likely great aid to the dentists are the incredible dental nurses; they always keep up with instructions from the dentist, and you're never sat in the chair drowning haha. The two work together like a well-oiled machine, which creates a comforting environment for those nervous getting dental work done.

Fantastic experience: Zara, new Dentist to the surgery, made me feel so comfortable, such a happy dentist, made the experience personal, as if I was the only one she was treating. Absolutely excellent service, left feeling confident and happy. Definitely will be continuing to book all appointments with Zara.

Fantastic experience: Had a terrible toothache phoned the dental practice the receptionist was very helpful and got me an appointment for the same day. My dentist was calming and reassuring as I was feeling quite anxious. They treated my tooth and booked me a follow on appointment. I would definately recommend to anyone. The service I have received has been amazing. The practice is clean friendly and welcoming. I no longer have any fears.

Fantastic experience: Rang up this morning as needed a emergency appointment, although I'm not a patient the receptionist was so kind and booked me in straight away. I'm such a scared patient but Pippa made me feel at ease and was able to do the procedure, this would not of happened at my normal dentist. Fantastic experience: Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive upon my arrival, particularly the ladies working on reception who made it extremely easy for me to find where I needed to go for my appointment as this was my first visit to this practice. The practice itself was extremely clean and had more than enough chairs within the waiting area. All staff were extremely welcoming and kind and remained professional and helpful throughout my visit, and made me feel instantly relaxed and at ease. Negative experience: Lived in the village and been going there over 20 years. Now told I can no longer have an appointment because the NHS are no longer offering any additional funding and they have a backlog of patients because of COVID. Sounds like a poor excuse to me

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth and rang the practice hopping to see an emergency dentist. They had a cancellation in 15 minutes time. I took the appointment and was welcomed at reception by a lovely smiling lady who made me very welcome. Then went in and saw the dentist who was also lovely and reassuring as I have to admit to being a bit scared of going to the dentist. She put a temporary filling in and after booking another appointment I was back home in 30 minutes. I cannot sing their praises enough. Thank you all so much.

Fantastic experience: I had toothache since Friday phoned Monday to see about emergency appointments the very helpful receptionist said call back on Tuesday at 8.30am. I did got a 2pm appointment and by 2.45 the dentist Arun had checked out the problem pulled the tooth what a relief. Top class dentist and the staff are always smiling.

Negative experience: I never make a review but this is absolutely important that I do …I have been made to feel horrible and cried for the way I have been treated by the staff members of this dental surgery.I booked an appointment for -:January 25 Tuesday 2022 ,which was today ,for 15:50 , I’ve got the email … also after I would collect my 3 kids at school .They told me exactly that it was 15:50 , I make a call to them that I will be 5 minutes late , they said “umm your appointment was at 15:00 “ I said to them that it was confirmed for 15:50 and they were so so rude and declined the call on me …I called them back , and they kept saying “ no no you either book now or never , you book for 29th of March , or never come back “ . I am absolutely gutted at the behaviour . They also said you can report us but we don’t care …. To be honest never ever came face to face with such awful people . Something must be done about this .

Fantastic experience: After a painful tooth, I phoned Baddow Dental and spoke to a really sympathetic receptionist. I was gobsmacked that I got an emergency appointment the next day. The lady dentist talked me through the procedure to take out my wisdom tooth. She put me a ease as I was quite nervous and reassured me all the way through the procedure, I was totally surprised that it did not hurt and cannot thank all the staff that dealt with me enough. Fantastic experience: I have been with the Baddow Dental Practice for about 18 years. I received specialist periodontal treatment for gum disease on the advice of the practice which took several months 2020/2021. This was at a peridontist in Brentwood. Once the periodontal treatment, including gum surgery, was completed and had settled I had cosmetic bonding at the Baddow Dental Practice last month. I had two large and unsightly gaps between my teeth in the upper right section of my mouth. These were because of the gum disease and subsequent receding jaw bone. Dr. Cheryl Calver and her assistant at Baddow Dental Practice completed the bonding. To say I am over the moon is an understatement. Cheryl and her assistant were fantastic throughout, reassuring and welcoming, putting me completely at ease and explaining the process. The treatment itself was done with great care and expertise. The bonding material is an identical match to my tooth colour. The gaps are gone. The teeth look completely natural. You would never know on looking at my teeth that they have been cosmetically changed to close the gaps. I had a check up this afternoon as Cheryl wanted to be sure post treatment that all was well and she polished the teeth. This was included in the treatment package and not at extra cost. It was because Cheryl is a consummate professional and wanted to see how things were a few weeks down the line and to give the area a polish. My teeth look amazing. I am no longer self conscious about smiling or photographs. My friends' reactions were 'Wow!!!' and so is mine. I am so happy with my treatment. Thank you so much Cheryl and Team

Fantastic experience: Today in the morning I got sudden tooth pain and swelling and I was absolutely scared what would happened today or tomorrow , when I must go abroad. I couldn't think about anything but about that terrible pain and I was scared, that in such as short time I wouldn't receive any appoitment. At my favourite Baddow Dental Practice the receptionist (sorry, I forgot her name) understood my terrible situation and I've been given very quick help. Fantastic experience: I required an urgent appointment for a tooth extraction for a tooth that was seriously loose and inflamed. I rang Baddow Dental Practice and was given an appointment within hours. The treatment was meticulous and totally pain free. I was also given advice on aftercare. I have been attending this practice for over three years now and would highly recommend them.
