Smmmile - Invisalign Bristol

Fantastic experience: From the start to the finish Smmmile Bristol have been amazing , i can’t fault there work in anyway they have really gave me the smile i always wanted. Dr Nieves talked me through the whole process of getting composite bonding, making me feel at ease with the work being done. Ive gone from being nervous about going to the dentist to counting down the days to my next appointment Thank you to all the staff and a BIG thank you to Dr Nieves

Negative experience: My experience with Smmmile Bristol has been disappointing from beginning to end. From the start, the service felt unprofessional. My treatment contract was handled at the reception desk by the receptionist because the person who I discussed the plan originally with was busy with newer customer and there was no room available. The receptionist processed my contract, even though the person who was supposed to explain everything was busy. She also made an error on the amount I needed to pay, and I had to point it out before she reprinted it. The general attitude of the dental nurses felt unfriendly and very dismissive. Instructions were delivered in a commanding tone rather than explained properly, and I often felt rushed or talked at, rather than supported through the process. At one appointment, I arrived right on time only to find the door locked. I had to wait outside because they were running late from their lunch break. No apology or acknowledgment was given. On another visit, the music playing in the reception area was completely inappropriate for a professional healthcare setting -explicit rap lyrics with sexual content. It made the whole environment feel even more unprofessional. I paid for the indefinite aligner plan, which is almost double the cost. It was advertised as peace of mind with unlimited refinements if needed. However, when I wasn’t fully satisfied with my final result and requested more aligners, the reaction from the dentist and nurses made it clear they were unhappy about having to create a new plan - even though this is exactly what I had paid extra for. They almost tried to convince me I didn’t need it simply because it would be “complicated.” Unbelievable.To make things worse, after I had paid off the entire remaining balance, Smmmile attempted to take another recurring bank payment from my account. Because it wasn’t a direct debit, I had far less control, and if I hadn’t noticed it, they might have continued charging me. I had to call them myself to cancel it, because the payment system apparently hadn’t been updated by them. Overall, an unprofessional experience from start to finish. I regret choosing Smmmile Bristol and cannot recommend them.

It has given me my dream smile and I couldnt be happier with the results from both the aligner treatment as well as my composite bonding and whitening! All of the team are so friendly, I couldn't recommend more!

Fantastic experience: I was quoted an extortionate amount to have my teeth straightened at my dentist, so started shopping around to see if I could find a reputable and more affordable option and I found Smmmile in Bristol. From my first consultation to the end of my treatment, the team have been excellent, and the results are fantastic, and in the time quoted originally. My experiences with Dr Nikita and Dr Nieve has been flawless even when I asked silly questions or was unsure of something. Kotryna and the receptionist team have also always been really helpful and friendly when I visited. Thank you all of you - if you are thinking of getting your teeth straightened, definitely pop in and see for yourself. I waited until my 50's - and now can finally smile with confidence! They know what they are doing, don't charge the earth and have a great team!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been receiving Invisalign treatment at Smmmile Bristol for the past 9 months, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I also had two new porcelain crowns fitted on my front teeth — such an important area — and they look absolutely amazing and natural. Dr. Nieves has been fantastic throughout the whole process. She always takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure I feel comfortable and informed at every step. The appointments have always run on time, which I really appreciate — everything has been smooth and efficient from start to finish, and I never felt like I was losing time waiting around. The care and attention to detail have been outstanding, and I’m genuinely thrilled with my new smile — I can’t stop taking selfies of my teeth! I highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering Invisalign or cosmetic dental work.

Negative experience: I went to Smmmile because I had an ache in my teeth. They diagnosed that I had tooth decay and needed to take out two of my teeth. I was very suspicious because the X-ray only showed a slight dark patch between two teeth which they told me meant decay. I went to another dentist to get a second opinion and their X-ray showed no decay, no dark patch and they said my teeth were fine. They think I might be grinding my teeth at night and that might be the cause of my ache. It’s since got much better on its own and I’m really glad I didn’t get my teeth ripped out by Smmmile!

Negative experience: UPDATE 12 MONTHS LATER: STILL NO OPENING HOURS ON THE DOOR. MANAGER IS A LIAR. Update 24 hours after leaving this review: * I was called by the branch and advised the refund has been processed over a week ago (it has not been received as yet) * I was again made to feel in the wrong for complaining - apparently they are getting their hours displayed on the front door "soon". I'd give 0 stars if I could. I work in high level customer service and previously as a mystery shopper. With so many other private dentists in Bristol, don't bother with these clowns. * Arrived 10 mins early for initial consultation - front door locked, no signs indicating why. After knocking and waiting for over 10 mins the staff appeared, unlocked the door and attempted to apply guilt by saying they "have to lock the door otherwise we don't get a lunch break". It was 3pm. * To receive a consultation with a trained dentist to get a quote you have to pay £50. *I paid £50 and scheduled an appointment whilst at my initial consultation. Over the next few weeks I received : - An appointment reminder for the wrong date and time. - An email thanking me for confirming I was going ahead with treatment and that my retainers were being manufactured. I called and emailed Smmmile - at last they called back - I had by this point totally lost faith in their company's ability to handle my enquiry, and I asked them to cancel my appointment and refund me. I'm still waiting for the refund. I'm still receiving emails saying that my retainers are being manufactured. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited the Smmmile Dentist Clinic in Bristol for an Invisalign consultation and had a fantastic experience. Booking the appoinment was easy and was able to get seen within a week. From the moment I arrived, Millie D. welcomed me warmly and made me feel at ease. She was thorough in her explanations and presented all the available options clearly. My first appointment with Dr. Nieves and her team was equally impressive. The team was friendly and made the examination process enjoyable. Dr. Nieves provided honest and comprehensive information on how the process would look like and what results could I expect. I appreciated the supportive atmosphere and felt no pressure to make immediate decisions or rush into any services (differently from other providers with whom I had same service consultations). No gross plasticine feeling moulds, just top of the line scanning equipment and quality products in a lovely clean central setting. On completing my Invisalign and composite bonding, the difference in my smile and confidence is second to none, worth every penny!

Negative experience: Went a couple of years ago to sort my teeth and what an awful experience it was, there was numerous delays with my order, lack of communication and even after getting my scan complete, the image of my teeth didn't look as straight as what you'd expect after paying ridiculous amount of money. I'm glad I withdrew my application but maybe I would have stuck with this company if they treated the process better.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I can’t say I had a good experience. My teeth had improved but they weren’t completely straight as shown in the 3D version. I wasn’t aware that additional alignments were part of the plan if your teeth weren’t completely straight (it was about 1 year in). It’s a real shame because of how expensive this is that my dentist didn’t make me aware of the treatment options available, especially since they would have seen the irregularities. I feel patient care was really lacking here

Negative experience: Impossible to get appointments. I was given one date 6 weeks in advance and when I couldn't make that one I've had to wait another 6 weeks. This has happened throughout the treatment uneccessarily extending it by over 3 months on top of the 3 month extention that was needed. They are also terrible about keeping you informed on what happens in each appointment. There has been a lot more teeth filing than I was prepared for.
