Fantastic experience: Hadia the dentist is amazing. I suffer from severe phobia of the dentist, ive got a sensitive gag reflex and im a fussy patient, but every time I visit she and the nurses (recently Nat) go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, to give me sound advice and never make me feel silly or uncomfortable. Incredible service all around. A shout out to the receptionist Kim who is warm and welcoming also.

Fantastic experience: I saw Hadia yesterday for the first time. I needed 2 teeth extracted and a filling. Rather than making me come back she did the work there and then. It was the best option for me not having to think about going back to the dentist. I found Hadia along with Denise the nurse very welcoming. Hadia is so gentle and reassuring. She explained in detail what she was doing , she listened and it wasn't rushed at all. This is probably the first time in over 60 yrs of going to the dentist that I felt comfortable and treated exceptionally well. Hadia is a lovely sweet kind person. I thoroughly recommend her if you are a nervous patient. The receptionist was very warm and welcoming too. I highly recommend this dental surgery.

Negative experience: During my first appointment my filling, which I payed for, wasn’t put in properly and so I couldn’t bite and eat for a few days. I phoned again and was given a new appointment which I had to pay for an emergency fee of about £28. This time the dentist had to take the whole filling out because it wasn’t done properly in the first place. This was another dentist and I was very happy with the results but unfortunately the filling broke less than 2 weeks later. When I called the receptionist and explained the situation she wasn’t very understanding at all. All she had to say was she could book another appointment for me and when I asked if I have to pay for it again she answered that she couldn’t tell me. I am very disappointed about the way I am being treated, I expect a little bit more care and understanding. I am hoping to speak to the Manager today and hopefully this situation will be addressed properly.

Fantastic experience: I am always nervous about anything medical including the dentist. This was my first appointment and Hadia immediately put me at ease, with warmth and empathy she found the best solutions for me as an individual. I felt valued and listened to. Rece the nurse exuded calm and professional support to Hadia and myself which added to the whole experience. Which was positive and I would highly recommend them. The practice is lucky to have such great employees.

Positive experience: Mixed feelings about this practice (I pay private, not NHS) . I've been with them for roughly 1 1/2 years and had 4 appointments; the treatments I've received have been good. Communication on the work they've done and talking me through what they've found was very good so you can be assured they know what they are doing. My issue is with time management of appointments, each appoint was 20-30minutea late.. Everytime. I raised it with the receptionist each time and asked what the hold up was, which she handled and sent a message to the dentist so no problem there. But at what point should I draw the line? I've had to pay for my appointment up front and then they leave you hanging around for another 20minutes... My times valuable as well

Fantastic experience: I feel very fortunate to be registered with Dentalcare Westbury. My dentist, Miriam is always calm and professional but also kind and I have faith in her ability to go a good job. Head nurse Judith is also professional and helps to put you at ease during any procedures.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dentist. Tanya on reception went and above and beyond to get my family all set up and me seeing a dentist at short notice. And Prince and Jith did a great job checking up on my teeth and giving me recommendations that wouldn't break the bank. Super impressed.

Fantastic experience: My family have used this dentist for years. It's a very friendly practice and we've always felt very well looked after. My last visit was a check up and hygiene clean. Jith is very friendly, informative and thoroughly professional. His nurse, Judith is lovely. It makes going to the dentist almost pleasurable

Negative experience: It has unfortunately been impossible to get an appointment, response, email any communication. I have been with this dentist for couple of years it was never an issue until they began cancelling appointments with no means of rebooking my son is now 4yrs old I signed him up maybe 2 yrs ago (not sure now) booked mine my daughter and his 1st appointment was cancelled. Called couple of times and gave up as it wasnt rebooked. I got in touch again about May time this year I was told my son was taken off as he never attended an appointment then the receptionist realised they were the ones who actually cancelled his appointment and did not let me rebook due to poor communication. He is 4 yrs old and has not been to a dentist. No one is taking on its like gold dust NHS dentist. Not everyone can afford private costs. I was told on the phone they were in the process of getting a new clinician in June and I would receive a phonecall to get myself my daughter and my son booked in it nearly now end of August no call no communication impossible to get through to anyone. I have now an awful toothache and unable to get an appointment unless paying private prices. It's an absolute shame as years ago it was a great practice.

Fantastic experience: I am a patient at Dentalcare Westbury as well as my two sons. Tanya on reception is always chatty and welcoming. My oldest son isn’t too fond of the dentist and when he had to have two teeth out the dentist - Jith and his nurse Judith were very good and made my son feel at ease and assured him that it would be OK and it was!

Negative experience: I am very unhappy with the service received. I called in last week no answer, then left a voice message, no call back. I then decided to walk in to book an appointment for my daughter to find out that she was removed as we missed a yearly check up. I am fuming because at no point I was told that she was due one or that she would be removed from their system. I had so much going on last year that the last thing I had in mind was to remember to book an appointment. I am now left with no NHS dentist as there seems not to be any availability anywhere in Westbury and I have to find a new one in a different town.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist in 6 years plus, as a very nervous patient as soon as i was seen by Dr Khann for an emergency i was set at ease. I have since completed my treatment plan and cannot thank Dr Khann, the assistants and the reception team enough, always friendly polite and on time!

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Hadia Khan at Dental Care Westbury for seeing me straight away as I walked in the door without an appointment or being registered. Hadia is a very professiona and caring Dentist taking action immediatly extracting my tooth. I have facial palsy and been on to 111 for the last 4 days I'm very very grateful for your assistance, truly appreciate your kindness in acting so promptly. I will be sure to come see you from now on as my dentist for this level of care, cost is not a factor thank you again so much and to my dear Mum who supported me with today x

Negative experience: On 2 occasions I’ve had an unpleasant experience talking to reception. I am not great with phone conversations and received very rude/blunt responses also my daughter is adhd/autistic and have not felt very accommodated on a few occasions. The actual dentist is lovely but feel very let down from my experiences with front desk.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say thankyou to Miriam and Judith for the dental care given to me today, been with dental care for around 5 years and would never want to be with any other company, also a thankyou to receptionist Kim, so helpful and friendly to speak to.

Negative experience: The irony of receiving letters and text's telling me that my appointment is overdue and telling me that you are sorry that I have had to cancel my last appointment when it is you who have phoned me to cancel my appointment twice (once when I was literally on my way there) and there is never an appointment available online and then no one answers the phone! I have asked for an emergency appointment twice now (when I have been able to get through) and been told that there aren't any and I will have to try the next day. The last time I was able to speak to someone they said that they would call me back to try and get me an appointment and didn't get back to me. If I had a choice I would go elsewhere but no one else is taking patients.

Fantastic experience: I had unbearable toothache and my usual Dentist could not see me until the 30th August. I found Dentalcare Westbury and I was able to book a next day emergency appointment online. When I spoke to Tanya the following morning, she was beyond pleasant and helpful, and had given the Dentist all the information I had shared with her by the time I arrived. Hadia and Nat were incredibly reassuring and comforting. I had my wisdom tooth whipped out in less than 3 minutes and issue resolved! And I got to keep the tooth!! I honestly cannot rate these guys highly enough! Thank you all so much!

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Dentalcare Westbury for 10years, visiting a dentist is my worst nightmare and I get extremely anxious attending just for a checkup. I can honestly say that it has become easier for me due to how I am treated by all the staff whenever I visit. I am still a very nervous patient but Miriam my Dentist and Judith the Head Nurse really help my visits less stressful for me. Both receptionists Kim & Tanya are really helpful and understanding and I’m sure that they have to deal with many issues both on the telephone and in person on a daily basis which can’t be easy. It is disappointing to read that the Dental Practice suffers from people not keeping their appointments which I’m sure is not unique. I hope that this team stays in place for many more years.

Fantastic experience: Having had a toothache for a couple of days Tanya was able to find me an emergency appointment at another practice, who to be fair didn’t do much. Tanya on the other hand then managed to fit me in to the team in Westbury within a couple of more days and I couldn’t have been more grateful. Miriam and her assistant Hannah were excellent, after a quick review of the X-Ray, Miriam advised me of the best course of action and within minutes the tooth had gone and apart from the needle administering the anaesthetic I felt nothing at all and was surprised to hear Miriam say it was out. The care I have received from this practice is second to none and I would 100% recommend Dentalcare and won't hesitate to use again in the future.

My Dentist Mirian fully explains my options and listens to what I have to say. Fantastic experience: I was previously with a long established practice in Frome but grew increasingly fed up especially having my appointment cancelled at late notice on several occasions. I looked around for a new dentist and found DentalCare in Westbury. I knew there was going to be no choice about trying to get an NHS Dentist but on comparing prices from DentalCare to what I was being charged under NHS at my previous dentist, they were pretty comparable so I set up a dental plan and joined. My first appointment was with Hadia for a 6 month check up. All went well, she was very pleasant and explained things clearly. My next appointment was with Jinu (Hygienist). I will never be the type of person that feels completely relaxed at the dentist, but Jinu and Judith were amazing. The procedure was carefully carried out, with re-assurance and checkpoints, and I cannot fault the overall experience and care. They were brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. And let's not forget the reception team...I've spoken to Tanya on several occasions and I always leave smiling

Negative experience: I was having a problem with one of my teeth and found this dentist last summer. I had a consultation in June but rather than being told what needed to be done, I was given a choice; filling, root canal or have the tooth out. When commenting on this the dentist told me she liked to be open and to give me the choice and if the first option doesn’t work then I can choose a different option. My filling needed to be replaced so I obviously went for this option. I had the filling replaced but at the end of the procedure, she exclaimed, “Oh, the clamp has moved!” Needless to say, I still had problems with the tooth but when I went back, the dentist made out the tooth was loose and it was removed. The dentist had covered herself with the initial consultation when giving me the choice, saying she told me the filling might not work. I’m sure I would have noticed my tooth was loose but why fill it in the first place if it was indeed loose? I went back again as the teeth either side have been left sensitive but again was told this was normal, even after several months and to buy Sensodyne toothpaste. The dentist even said she had gone back to her dentist a few times with sensitive teeth. Surely she should have known this being a dentist herself and wouldn’t need to go back. Anyway, it is now nearing the end of March and I am still experiencing trouble with my teeth! I have since discovered 2 other people I know have been to this dentist and are not happy with their treatment. Obviously, I won’t be going back!

In my 50th year I was in need of dental services and visited the lovely people at Dental Care in Westbury. All the staff are so so lovely ..... from Kim on reception to Miriam and Hannah who I saw recently. I have been attended by other members of staff and the level of service is exactly the same .... exemplary. So much so.... I have been going for over 8 years and no longer have a fear of dentists. Fantastic experience: Been at Dentalcare Westbury for many years now and have been happy with the service throughout and in the last month I enquired about composite bonding due not have the best shape teeth and unhappy with my smile and right away I had a consultation booked and was shown a temporary look of what the finished result would look like and I was amazed.. month later I've had my treatment finished with 6 lovely bonded teeth and absolutely love the result! I cannot thank the dental care team enough!.. Hadia the dentist was amazing at what she did and had a lot of patience and skill for what she needed to do and trust me she had her work cut out for her with my teeth and a big thankyou to the nurses Hanna and judith for helping with the process and let's not forget the brilliant receptionist Kim. My dentist Miriam is incredibly gentle and impressed how Judith anticipated everything that was required at a recent visit to painlessly repair my broken tooth. Clearly work well as a team. Fantastic experience: Having been up all night with severe tooth pain ,around 5am I decided to try my luck and see if I could get into a dentist. I was aware of Dental care as my children are registered there so this was the first place I tried .I managed to get an appointment the same day with Hadia who was brilliant, within 30 seconds she had diagnosed the problem, checked her schedule to see if there would be enough time to take the tooth out which luckily for me there was .I would 100% recommend Dentalcare and won't hesitate to use again in the future

Fantastic experience: I have been an NHS patient of Dentalcare Westbury for a long time now and have nothing but praise for them. Just gone through a bad time with a tooth and abscess and the practice could not have done more. They fitted me in swiftly and cheerfully helped me through the course of treatment - even having a laugh during the process. Not a lover of having pain inflicted but cannot rate Dentalcare and it's team any higher.

Positive experience: I am a registered patient at Dentalcare Westbury but between treatment and the next check up appointment I suffered a broken filling while on holiday not a major issue but on returning home I had another tooth break while eating peanuts this was exposing the nerve, I phoned for an emergency appointment on the Monday but no appointments available I called again the following morning got a appointment for that day had two temporary fillings in a 15 minute appointment which should last until my 6 monthly check up in the new year. Happy Christmas.

Fantastic experience: We are so lucky to have this little dentist in Westbury, I’ve been a patient for a long time now but yesterday I had to have a filling which I was terrified about, Miriam, Judith, Faye & Kim all did a fabulous job at putting me at ease, in fact I had my EarPods in & was in a little world of my own! Super impressed with Miriam’s skills, I can’t even see my filling The only thing I would say is it’s very grey … needs a paint job something bright & cheery to make it welcoming.

After poor experiences elsewhere I have been very impressed with the service offered - the receptionist (Tanya) is extremely polite and helpful, and my dentist and dental nurse (Hadia and Tanya) put me right at ease when I was visibly nervous, and the double procedure I needed was quick and painless. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for a few years with this practice and have always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. I had a filling come out over the weekend and they were able to fit me in for an emergency appointment on Monday morning. The Dentist I see is Miriam a Spanish lady who is always very conscientious and friendly and Kim in reception is always very helpful. It makes going to the Dentist a nice experience rather than one full of anxiety and worry. Well done!!

Fantastic experience: Being a nervous patient & suffer from vitigo Marion has replaced my old dentist & has been brilliant & kind with a lot of patience & explains everything too you, Judith has been a asset to the dentist & who was brilliant when I had a bad episode of vitigo in the chair some time ago & ended up in a ambulance, she organised my car not getting a parking ticket & looked after me untill the ambulance arrived, Tanya today's receptionist was happy & a good help to some questions I needed asking. Fantastic experience: Hadia, Kim and Judith were all very welcoming and settling of my nerves. They all made me feel very welcome and Hadia was so gentle.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the appointment my 2 boys, aged 7 and 4, had today. The nurse Judith and dentist Aisha were very welcoming and the boys came out saying they love the dentist (think the star patient sticker helped!) Tanya on reception was very helpful and we were seen on time. Would highly recommend this practice, especially as they are accepting children on the NHS at the moment.

Fantastic experience: I recently went for a hygienist appointment at Dentalcare Westbury. I struggle with anxiety and was very nervous upon entering my appointment. When I let Jinu (the hygienist) and Alisha (dental nurse) know this, they immediately worked to put me at ease. Jinu fully explained the procedure I would be having and discussed any worries I had with me. She was very patient and very understanding and was able to put my mind at rest. Alisha then struck up conversation to take my mind off everything which worked a treat as she was so friendly! The team worked quickly and checked in on me frequently to ensure I was managing okay. I felt very secure and respected at all times and cannot recommend these ladies enough. I have come away relieved and happy! Thank you both!!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the treatment my children and I receive at Dentalcare Westbury. Kim the receptionist is always helpful a friendly. The dentist Miriam and the nurse Judith, as well as the people I’ve seen on previous visits are always good at putting you at ease.

Fantastic experience: I have been registered with Dental Care Westbury for a long time,12yrs+. I have had bad experiences in the past, but this surgery is the best. My visit was on 23/06/23. I'd developed an abscess that was causing me considerable pain, just before flying to Italy for a short break. Kim, the receptionist booked me in at very short notice and was very kind, ringing me back and keeping me updated on the time to come.. Miriam was very gentle and sensitive to my pain. Georgina too.
