Fantastic experience: Finn Dental Specialists are superb. My dentist with utmost sincerity admitted that I need a specialist treatment for my problem. I was a bit apprehensive of the thought of seeing yet another dentist and (temporarily)leaving the dentist who I always considered as good. However from the very beginning in making an appointment, communications, atmosphere of the practice, waiting time and receptionists attitudes are enough to make anyone feel at ease. Dentists are real specialists, married to the profession. They are brilliant in explaining of the issues at hand stepwise, treatment process they recommend. I do recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Easy to park. Very pleasant staff. I had X-rays and photos done and was able to see what problems I had with my teeth. And why certain treatments would work well and others would not be suitable. My dentist was very reassuring too. I am terrified of pain so I had anaesthetic cream just for the injections! Plus I could listen to my audio book as a distraction. He made sure that my implants fitted well and looked good. Quite a perfectionist ! Which I was very happy to know. I could phone to ask any questions about treatments. Excellent service and I would happily recommend Guy Stephens.

Fantastic experience: As I said in my previous review a little expensive but you get what you pay for, I have used this practice for over 19 years now , and found the quality of work excellent, the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, although I live in France now , I always return for treatment in this practice, that says a lot about them

Fantastic experience: I've been with Finn Dental Specialists for several years now, and the experience has been nothing short of fantastic! I primarily see the hygienist and Dr. Guy, who has been my main dentist. They are both phenomenal, truly dedicated to their craft. They take the time to explain every step, offer support, and make sure you're comfortable throughout the process. Even after moving to the States, I still choose to return to Finn Dental whenever I'm back in London. It's been challenging to find a dental practice here that matches their level of care and professionalism. I rarely give 5-star reviews, but Finn Dental Specialists absolutely deserve it. A solid 5 stars from me!

Fantastic experience: I needed some urgent care for my front tooth and needed a veneer. I called Finns and the receptionist was very helpful in explaining the options to me, and said they could get me an appointment on the Wednesday or I could try and get an emergency appt on the Monday. I said I would call around and see if I could get anywhere sooner. I then received a call back and was told that a dentist could help (Albert) who had left for the day but could come back in, which was super helpful. The procedure itself was very comfortable and given the scenario, Albert built up composite on my tooth to build a veneer as naturally there wasn’t a speedy option to get a veneer built in a lab. Albert and the dental nurse were lovely, really put me at ease, explained what they were doing at each step, and really saved the day. I can now smile in public again. Thanks so much!!

Fantastic experience: As one of Greg’s many referring dentists and having referred or recommended him to dozens of patients over the last 20 years, I have seen first hand, the quality and value that his clinical skill set has to offer patients. Greg and his team of Specialists have proven themselves to me without exception, not least in several of my own and my wife’s complex dental treatments. I suspect that in the mind of discerning patients who are moved to ask me, “Who does your teeth Richard”, this review is quite likely to carry some gravitas. At least I hope so.

I was young and traumatised by it all, but Greg was fantastic, making me feel at ease and did a wonderful job of giving me my confidence back. The implants are still here 22 years later and still strong. My husband now also uses Greg and is delighted with his crowns, can’t believe he had no after pain or settling down time. Fantastic experience: Alex Mustard has performed 2 different root canal work on my teeth. I’ve never experienced pain free dentistry before! I was so nervous the first time but his reassurance and performance left me so happy and pain free. My latest root canal was trickier to locate as it went off at a 90 degree angle at the base (shown and fully explained on x-ray) but thankfully all the infection was located and removed! I was also amazed I didn’t need any pain relief when the anaesthetic wore off! I cannot thank him enough!

Fantastic experience: I had reason to consult Guy Stephens on a potentially complex implant and also to deal with a problem with another implant (implanted by another dentist nearly 10 years ago). The latter problem was efficiently resolved and I came away with a full explanation and treatment plan for the former. Fantastic experience: I was initially referred to Greg Finn 17 years ago for a consultation for chronic pain that had baffled two other dentists and had me at my wits end. He was always patient and persistent, first in managing to find the solution to my problem but also in repairing poor dentistry that I had been subjected to in the past. I would not, now, consider going anywhere else and only hope he keeps practising longer than my teeth last. A few years later he re-vamped a halved incisor for my teenage son that had been poorly re-built and was making him self-conscious. The result was undetectable (that’s a compliment) and is still looking perfect nearly ten years later. He also gives good tips for reading material, but that’s a side-line, with no cost. Between them, he and Tracy the hygienist have made tooth-worries a thing of the past and i will be eternally grateful. I would certainly recommend the practice, especially to anybody who needs a little bit more time, care and attention.

Positive experience: I have had two inplants fitted to my jaw. After some adjustment post procedure the inplant teeth have been fine and comfortable. I would recommend Finn Dental Specialists for this form of treatment. Guy and his assistant are friendly and make you feel comfortable in the nice atmosphere there.

Fantastic experience: Having had a traumatic experience with a dentist at an early age. I have an ingrained fear of any treatment. I was referred to Greg Finn by my dentist for restoration work. I was under the illusion that my teeth were in good condition at my age, no decay, a few chips and they are all my teeth. I went along for a consultation, explained my thoughts and fears. Greg listened, took photos, scans etc and booked a further appointment. From the first point of contact with lovely Amanda through to having my teeth restored over a number of weeks, I really can’t speak highly enough of the whole team at this practice. Greg has been kind, caring and sensitive to my fears. If you have any phobias this is the practice to care for you. Now for the painful part, he is not cheap, but, you are worth it. His skills are amazing, my teeth are beautiful, his restoration work is outstanding, he is an artist. You are in safe hands. My mindset has totally changed towards having private treatment. I wish I had found Greg years ago. I will be going to this practice from now on for all of my care.

Fantastic experience: Guy Stephens - Specialist dentist. Guy completely save my front teeth with two new composite bonds. I had chipped them pretty badly as a child and they were discoloured and noticeable, I walked away with a brand new smile and couldn’t be any happier. Attention to detail is second to none.

Fantastic experience: I am extremely impressed by the professionalism of my dentist, Guy Stephens, and the entire team. They use newest technology which I never knew existed. 3D scanner for your mouth and teeth. Local anaesthetics that doesn’t make you feel like a pumpkin face. I had a 2h and 15 minute session. 2 old crowns removed. Bad teeth underneath fixed. Temporary crowns put in. I never felt any pain. Was always informed about the process. No pain afterwards either. An extra thanks to Violetta who was a brilliant assistant! Could I leave a 10 STAR review any time I had been at this wonderful dentist? YES. Do I do it? No. But now I just have to add to my previous review. 17/9/2023: Cannot praise the team and Guy, my dentist, enough. I had another canine tooth extraction a few days ago as my previous dentist messed up my teeth. We are following a “refurbishment plan” that Guy kindly put together. Tooth extractions are no fun but at Finn’s they are as pleasant as could be. Neck rest, blanket, a careful dentist and a caring nurse made the process most bearable. I got a denture until the implants will be placed. It didn’t fit properly. Guy said he won’t pay for it and made it fit. He is a dental artist. If you have a dentist phobia- this place will cure you from it. Thanks again to the entire team. I wished I had found you earlier!! Fantastic experience: My daughter had a root canal treatment with Dr. A Mustard and it was a perfect work done with no pain experienced throughout the process. The Receptionists are also very professional and nice. I was allowed to used their Wi-Fi to continue my work whilst I waited for my daughter to complete her work. Fantastic experience: Just under one year ago, after living decades with a troublesome bite, aching jaw and tiny, tiny teeth as if disappearing, I was referred to Finn Dental Specialists by my dentist who had reached the end of the road in being able to care for my mouth. I arrived at Greg Finn’s first appointment feeling desperate, fearing the outcome of this appointment would be resigning myself to the fact that nothing could be done to my mouth and that for the rest of my days I would have to live with an aching jaw, out-of-control grinding and a toothless smile. Almost ten months later, allowing for delay through the first lockdown, my mouth could not be further from the above-mentioned negative outcome. On Tuesday, As I rose from Greg Finn’s dental chair and looked at my mouth through a hand-held mirror, I saw a mouth more like the one of my much younger self and a smile with teeth that I thought I had lost forever; it is hard to put into words how happy that makes me feel, but one thing sure I am certainly more confident. This morning I attended a Zoom meeting with colleagues and rather than keeping the webcam switched off, I turned it on and occasionally glanced at the camera to watch myself laughing; I now have to pinch myself that I have this natural looking and wonderful smile. Thank you, Greg Finn, your lovely dental nurses and your administrative team for each being a part of this journey with its breath-taking outcome. You have spent hours upon hours working on my mouth demonstrating incredible patience and care. When working in difficult areas you have diverted my attention through chatter about all kinds of things, indeed, reflecting back, I remember more the conversations than the dentistry! Yesterday, I had an appointment with Theresa, the dental hygienist, who made me feel incredibly relaxed in the chair and was so detailed in her care as well as advice for maintaining excellent care of my teeth and gums. She answered carefully all my questions and illustrated her answers through use of a mirror. She is by far the most helpful hygienist I have ever experienced. I feel my mouth is in excellent hands all round and I look forward to my next visit as well as more dog stories!

I hardly even need pain killers im not in as much pain as i thought i would be in. Guy Stephens assisted by Katie was able to save and extend the life of a front tooth that was fragile and difficult to work on. Fantastic experience: I had a such a great experience with Finn Dental Specialists! A year ago I had all four of my wisdom teeth out with Greg Finn, who was extremely informative and gave me all the information I needed to feel confident in my treatment. After detailed scans and consultation, he booked me in for the extractions shortly after. He somehow, despite two of them being a little tricky, managed to pull them all out in about 40 minutes, with absolutely no issues following this. I had no infections, virtually no pain following the extractions (unbelievably), and he gave me a follow up call to check in about a week later to make sure I was doing okay. Absolutely would recommend this practice to anyone. I was really nervous having all four teeth out at the same time, as a lot of people I know have had infections following their wisdom tooth extractions, but Greg was brilliant, and the entire process was painless and pleasant! Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Fantastic experience: Having two front teeth removed was daunting. However, it was all done absolutely painlessly. And the bridge replacement and cosmetic work on adjacent teeth to blend it in is perfect and such an improvement. I finally like my front teeth. Greg Finn is an artist as well as a prosthodontist.

I was seen within 2 weeks and the treatment, and cost was explained in plain English. Treatment was carried out in two visits, teeth and gums now on target for a full recovery! Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE As a result of the treatment I was receiving my tooth broke off (front tooth! mid-treatment!) which in itself is bad enough, but that is nothing compared to how I was treated and spoken to by Finn Dental. I called in an upset panic get my tooth temporarily fixed urgently and was told they wouldn’t see me as my treatment had finished (I explained that I was mid treatment but was ignored and told to contact my dentist). Later that day they backtracked after my rant to them and my dentist offering me an appointment for the next day, but it was too late. I managed to find an amazing Dentist who dropped everything that day to help, so I decided to continue the rest of my treatment with them. I wanted to escalate how I had been dismissed and treated so badly in an emergency. The Practice Manager was unbelievably difficult to deal with and shut me down every time. I managed to finally get a face to face meeting with Greg Finn to discuss how disappointed I was with how I had been treated. The treatment I had so far received was a waste of my time and money (in the region of £1000. I was expecting an apology for how I had been so badly dismissed and treated and some form of compensation for the wasted treatment (another Dentist was shocked I had been recommended to go down that route at all but I trusted the experts advice). Greg Finn of Finn Dental’s exact words to me were “I know a person who is trying it on when I see one” followed by “you are obviously used to getting your own way” followed by “good luck.” I have been in shock that a professional would ever speak to a customer in this way!! I wasn’t going to write a review until this point, but I felt other people should know and be very careful when considering treatment at Finn Dental. I would avoid them at all costs!! Apparently I am their first unhappy customer in 20 years!? I have never written a review of this nature in my life either, but I had to share my experience so that hopefully nobody ever has to experience how I have been made to feel.

I had the pleasure of being seen by Amanda who was full of sage advice I'd never before been told and very thorough, gentle and efficient in her work.
