Fantastic experience: Due to no fault of any dentist - I have been petrified by previous experiences. This made me delay some much needed treatments for 7 years. Despite my greatest efforts to avoid the Dentists at all cost (Yes self filling and pain killers) - I was desperate after my broken tooth had gotten the better of me. I was convinced by my better half to visit Dr Ravi Suryavansi who was his lifesaver. Signed up as a new patient and with extreme reluctance sat in the chair and this is a review I never thought I would write. Dentists have a tough job especially having a patient like me full of fear and hesitation. But Dr Ravi was amazing from start to finish - made me feel comfortable, at ease and spoke to me through each action making sure I was ok every step of the way. Dr Ravi was amazing and fixed the impossible whilst changing my perception of the Dentist. Who would have thought - I am looking forward to my next appointment and glad it is with Dr Ravi. Super Hero! Thank you Zen Clinic and Dr Ravi.

I have been with the Zen Clinic for a number of years and have nothing but praise for the care and patience of the dentists and the nurses. I am no longer in tears in the chair, which is fantastic. Then last month i had an emergency appointment with Ravi for an infection. What an amazing man - so much personality. You know you have received an amazing service when despite the pain you walk out smiling. Keep up the fab work. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I am THE most nervous patient and have a really low pain threshold and I literally cannot fault the service that Ravi and his team provide. All of the staff are so friendly, kind and reassuring , notably Michael on reception who is really efficent as well as being super welcoming. Ravi is a fab dentist and has recently dealt with a complex tooth issue saving me from a much worse outcome. He was so patient during treatment explaining what was happening as we went along. A special shout out to Srijana however who was just sooo kind to me during treatment when I was panicking. You are all fantastic !!!

Negative experience: Sadly Zen Clinic has gone down in my estimation. Recently I took a call from them which was frankly unacceptable. This issue was compounded by their inability to correct the issue. I would actively tell anyone who uses this company or that may intend to use this company, not to. It’s not hard to run a friendly, punctual and professional dentist. Sadly this has not been the case for many years

Positive experience: Excellent hygienist appointment today at the Zen Clinic with Natasha Lim. She was kind and thoughtful in her care and very helpful in discussing some issues I have been experiencing with my teeth. A really positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I received treatment on 8th Oct. As being very nervous was made to feel very comfortable with Dr Pooja Ahmad. I am now at ease with my next app.

Negative experience: I had a checkup. They told me I needed 10 fillings and tried to charge me over £3000. They ushered me to proceed as they said didn't have much time before my situation worsened and would need root canals. I have been to two additional dentists since then due to the confusion regarding this checkup. I have been told I only need two fillings, twice. One was as an nhs patient and one was private. I cant explain how bad this service was. I originally paid the £3400 or so pounds and asked for a refund almost immediately as I realised quite quickly my situation had been taken advantage of. It took around 3-4 weeks to recieve the refund. I am 27 years old. I love to leave positive reviews and refrain from negative reviews as i believe people deseve a chance. This is the first review I have left where I feel as though people need to be aware. P.s when getting a hygiene clean with zen clinic I am often asked if I want an additional Polish. For an additional £30 on top of the original price. After some research the protective layer barely lasts a week, especially if you smoke or drink fizzy beverages. However they will tell you it is imperative. I'll leave this with you all in the hope you make the right decisions for yourselves. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: This is the most welcoming practice I have been to! From Michael on the reception desk (who is always very helpful and friendly) to the ambience of the building. Having had poor experiences with previous dentists elsewhere, Ravi is a welcome change. He has always gone above and beyond to solve any dental issues I have by providing and explaining solutions to choose from so I can make informed decisions. He also talks to you whilst you are having procedures done so you don't feel quite so nervous. It's tough to trust someone to work on your teeth as they are such an important part of you, but I always feel safe and confident with Ravi.

Fantastic experience: It is no surprise to find out that people come from all over the country to have their teeth seen to by Ravi Suryavansi. Being 59 years old and having used Ravi for the last 10 years, I would not put my trust in any other dentist. Before any work is carried out I am always provided with a clear understanding of what needs to be done and also the cost involved. I cannot thank Ravi enough for his skills, dedication and the time that he spends on all clients with his reassuring and caring manner. Appointment times do over run but that is because he cares about everyone he sees and is passionate about his work. I really cannot recommend Ravi highly enough to all.

Positive experience: My experience with initial registration over the phone was very good. I was given a prompt appointment at a convenient time. I was asked to complete further registration documents when I arrived, although most of the information requested was a duplicate of what I had already given over the phone. Whilst I have no reason to doubt the technical capabilities of the dentist I saw, her manner was cold, brusque and abrupt. In matters relating to my health, I will ask questions and engage with the practitioner to ensure that they have the full picture and I receive the appropriate outcome. On this occasion, I was treated as a tick box exercise and any attempts to provide context or nuance around the questions, or ask questions of my own, were shut down. Whilst I will make further appointments for treatment here, I will be requesting a different dentist.

Fantastic experience: Ravi is amazing dentist been his client for a very long time had to have root canal treatment this morning and crown. I am a very nervous patient the whole procedure was totally pain free and I had a severe crack in my tooth which he saved. Staff are amazing too. Would definitely recommend. Michael is always very helpful and all the staff are friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have been with them since they opened 18 years ago . Have had a great deal of work to save my teeth always managed to do it without a panic from me. Ravi (Dentist) always puts my mind at rest and solves problems that i have. Always fits me in in an emergency (twice in the last three weeks) cannot fault them and the reception team are always helpful and friendly too.

Fantastic experience: Despite this being a dentist surgery visiting the Zen Clinic is actually a pleasant experience. From the warm welcome on reception, which is a cool, stylish, and clean area, the chilled and gentle background music, and to the meeting with the dentist, everything is done to make the patient feel at ease and comfortable. The ambience is good with almost a spa-like feel. When I was younger I had some excruciatingly awful experiences with a dentist and so I am very careful who I choose with my dental needs. Some years ago I was lucky enough to find the Zen Clinic. The dental work is exceptional and the care, and after care is excellent. My main dentist is Dr. Pooja Ahmad, although I have occasionally seen Ravi. At all times I have been treated with kindness and gentleness, and I have felt safe and confident in their care. If you are nervous about going to the dentist and are looking for a clinic that caters for cowards then you will have come to exactly the right place.

Negative experience: One star is even too much! My partner was booked into an appointment that they were quick to take his money upfront for in full. However, after seeing the bad reviews we decided to cancel his appointment a week in advance. The appointment was due to be on the 10th April and after being told to jump through hoops to get his refund we are still yet to receive a penny back from them almost two weeks later ! Do not use this clinic they complain they are short staffed when it comes to refunding you.

Negative experience: I would have left a 5 star review as I was seen swiftly for an emergency infection and was prescribed antibiotics, however, when I was there I was told I needed an urgent wisdom tooth removal as there was no space in my mouth for it and the dentist really expressed I’d be in a lot of pain within weeks. I was told to book in within a week to have it removed and given a cost in the hundreds. I was also told I needed an urgent hygiene appointment as I had a lot of plaque and felt told off because I’d left it a bit longer than 6 months and was told my teeth would deteriorate if I didn’t. I didn’t book in for it because I felt nothing and no pain and at the time couldn’t afford it so soon after being made redundant. Well, a year later and my wisdom tooth has come through perfectly, I’ve seen one of the best dentists in the area and she was in shock I was told all this, did x-rays on me and I’ve seen the images myself, there’s space for it (I mean it’s proven as it’s come through and I have 0 pain or issue) there is also barely any plaque, just the regular amount anyone would have before a hygiene appointment she said (I’ve not changed anything in my dental routine) and she said the dentist here should’ve been able to see that. So thank god I never went ahead with the tooth removal at Zen! Would’ve cost me a lot of money, would’ve lost a days work, I have a pain condition known by the Zen dentist so would’ve been in a lot of pain, and would’ve been a pointless experience! Sadly I will now avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: I went to Zen Clinic yesterday for the first time to have both ears microsuctioned. I highly recommend the Audiologist, Pamela. She was so friendly, explained everything in detail, and removed the wax efficiently in no time.

Fantastic experience: After getting stuck with adult braces on and no orthodontist during Covid, I developed decay damage to the front of 10 of my teeth. Stupidly had avoided joining a dentist due to a bad experience with a previous one and knowing I needed a lot of work. Luckily I found Zen Clinic after a recommendation from the NHS 111 service. The whole experience has been great especially with my dentist Mathura, it has been completely positive. No judgement for allowing my teeth to decline, just kindness and sound advice for the best course of repair. I have had 4 teeth fixed so far and every time Mathura is gentle and patient with the drilling and her filling work is so precise it is exceptional! Considering these are repairs to the front face of my teeth and so very visible. I am gratefully regaining my confidence. The clinic is always clean and all the staff are always polite and smiling, the other patients seem to be always happy as well which is a good sign. I would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend Mathura and Zen clinic to absolutely anyone. Thank you.

Negative experience: Dentist prescribed the wrong dose of antibiotics for my daughter - noticed by pharmacist who refused to prescribe. Dentist then asked me what dose I wanted. NHS patient but booked a private appointment for toothache emergency. Was then taken off as an nhs patient, as were my children .

Negative experience: Poor quality tooth filling work done for my husband, literally the filling fell out in under 24 hours. Very disappointing and when I tried repeatedly ringing the clinic, from 8.30-9am there is not answer, worse than ringing for a GP appointment in the mornings.

Fantastic experience: Always had excellent service and staff are extremely good with my little boy, making him feel safe and valued by never trying to rush things even when the practice is busy. I also have a 3 month old and have needed to take her to appointments and they have gone out of their way to ensure I have a place to change her and to allow extra time for my appointment. Very happy here and would recommend.

She is very friendly, kind and puts you at ease. She is also very gentle when she is treating you. Also praise for her assistant. Would highly recommend.

I agree it’s costly, however by prioritising it as part of my self-care and health care - it’s worth every penny, although I would like for more dental services to be available for all. Fantastic experience: Ravi has been my Dentist for more than 25 years.He is always very professional.His knowledge is boundless, always completely at ease with his treatment , his attitude and approach always puts me completely at ease.My wife recently had a nasty abscess, i called Ravi, he immediately called us to his surgery where he removed a previously fitted implant that had split , incidentally fitted in Hungary some years earlier..He removed the failed implant supplied appropriate medication with a few days later follow up..Just excellent service not to Ravi , just his caring normal self....Easily the Best and friendliest Dentist and trustworthy ...Only Zen Clinic for me......Thank you both Michael ,Ravi and Team....

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with The Zen Clinic since it opened more than 20 years or so ago. Always great service, with lovely staff and excellent dentists.
