Negative experience: Atrocious practice manager. Obnoxious professionalism. Unnecessarily aggressive and bureaucratic.

Positive experience: I have been registered with this dental practice for about 20 years now. My dentist here has always been Tara and I highly recommend her. She is absolutely amazing and really listens and takes time to explain and just makes you feel so comfortable and reassured. I have also registered my kids here and hoping Tara never leave as she is the only reason I am still with them!

Fantastic experience: I'm surprised at the bad reviews for the reception staff; they are always pleasant and polite to me. The lady this morning got me in at 10:30 am after I had a tooth fall out, which was considerably better than I had expected. And my lovely young dentist Bomi is the best dentist I've had by a country mile, although at 70 I have rather fewer teeth left for her to look after.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for an NHS appointment for my child. After a long research and calling more than 10 dental surgeries who said they don't accept children on NHS, I came across Brightsmile Kingston. I was a bit skeptical as I read some bad reviews about receptionists being rude, but I had a great experience all the way through. I completed the requested forms and got an appointment within a few days. The dentist we had was great with children, she was very patient and explained everything she was doing. I'm happy with the service and we'll come back here in the future.

Negative experience: They said I could register as a new nhs patient in February 2025, I did via the online form with past medical history etc and waited the three months the receptionist said it may take to get an appointment. After going in to check in May and June, they said I must have filled in an enquiry form, which apparently wouldn’t have had the past medical history details needed, so I did do the correct form. I did a paper application and handed it to them while there, in June. And now in October I’ve still heard nothing. I’ve needed three 111 emergency treatment during this period. I was fobbed off by the receptionists while I was in pain and further decay was happening.

Negative experience: Theres a receptionist called Sarah and she absolutely vile. She's so rude and unprofessional. She takes out her misery on patients because she doesn't like her job. Shes a big middle aged caucasian woman with short hair so just be aware of her when you go. She's ignorant and pathetic and needs be sacked don't know why she chose a job in customer service

Fantastic experience: Had another session with Bomi Yi and i cannot recommend enough - she has a way to make a patient immediately feel less anxious and relaxed - brilliant dentist - very well informed and professional.

Negative experience: After 10 years with this practice, we have finally decided to move our dental care elsewhere. They seem to have a high turnover of staff and most dental appointments have been unpleasant due to the human element lacking and the dental care we received did not make up for it

Negative experience: The receptionist was rude to another colleague in front of me. She said just go away, just go away. The other lady had only pointed something out to her on the screen ,to help her(as she politely waited to speak to her)her colleague didn’t know where to look. Completely embarrassed she walked away

Fantastic experience: The BEST Dentist that ever came out of Dentist land! Thank you Ghoncheh for you excellent care and advice, you have managed my lifelong chronic fear of dentist’s very well indeed! Also thank you to the excellent team who have always managed to squeeze me in whenever I have had a painful emergency. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who is reading this review. I have been a patient here, for over a decade.

Negative experience: Would not recommend, they state emails replied to within 5 working days. 64 days later no response.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ghoncheh Roustazad at Brightsmile has changed not only smile but my whole life , I have been visiting Brightsmile for a number of years having various work and check ups done but I had a broken front tooth which had been repaired many years ago but had since broken and was so awful to look at I hardly ever smiled and had no confidence in my appearance, we set up a plan to repair the tooth and other problems and I was in the chair for 2 hours straight, when the work was done I hesitantly turned the mirror round to see the results and I immediately broke down with emotion I had a smile again !!! After so many years I was trembling with excitement and Dr Roustazad and her colleague were so pleased after all their amazing work. I travel 40 miles from my home to use this practice they are the best and I have nothing but huge praise to them for their work . Thank you so so much .

Negative experience: After over five years as a patient, I’ve finally had enough. The reception staff here appear to be on a mission to redefine what it means to be rude and unhelpful. Their attitude suggests they’ve mistaken the front desk for a security checkpoint at a prison rather than a healthcare setting. If customer service were an Olympic sport, they’d be competing for last place. It’s genuinely baffling how two people so ill-suited to dealing with the public ended up in roles that require basic human decency. A smile costs nothing—though judging by their expressions, they’ve taken out a mortgage against every one they’ve ever given. To be clear: your patients are the reason you receive a salary. Without them, it’s not just pot noodles you’ll be eating—it’s the economy pack ones, eaten cold. Time to rethink either the training or the job title, because “Receptionist” isn’t quite fitting. “Ms Facelift Gone Wrong” and “Snarly Prison Warden” might be more accurate. I won’t be returning. Life’s too short to be treated like an inconvenience.

Fantastic experience: I have seen Dr Mana on a few occasions, as she came highly recommended. She’s been great in dealing with a lot of my initial problems on the NHS. We’ve now moved onto some more advanced care as I was interested in really improving and changing some teeth which has been a mixture of very fair Private treatment and ongoing NHS care. I’ve found this very reasonable and it has helped me a lot. Overall I really like the Practice, and I’d highly recommend it - thank you

Fantastic experience: I normally have excellent treatment from Tara, but today Pragya gave me another excellent treatment and made me feel at ease very quickly. As a nervous patient I really appreciated this. Pragya was thorough, gentle, and did not rush at any stage. I was really impressed. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I love all the dentists there that have seen my son. They all have been great! However, the receptinists treatment is poor and rude.

Fantastic experience: Dr Priya Dharmesh Patel an amazzing and caring Dentist. She has handled my tooth extraction and filling with utmost caring, politeness, gentleness, confidence, knowledgeable and calmness and put me at ease in a calming manner. She and her Nurse Assistant Geeta, both made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Dr Patel is highly professional and is a great asset to the NHS Dentist Profession. Fantastic experience: Very grateful to Brightsmile Kingston, illness destroying bone in my jaw i suddenly found myself in agony with several loose teeth. applied to Brightsmile for emergency help and very grateful they were able to treat me at short notice. Staff were confident , knowledgeable and efficient and within 3 days the problem teeth were extracted. Thank you, your work is much appreciated .

Negative experience: I was due to see Dr Godje this morning as my previous two previous dentists have now left and I was just over 5 minutes late to my appointment as I had to bring my two young (three and two year olds) children with me unexpectedly (due to sickness). My appointment was twenty minutes long and despite explaining my lateness she refused to see me for a dental check up which has never taken more than 10 minutes. The receptionist was also extremely unhelpful and dismissive. Definitely would not recommend the dental practice for anyone who is considering registering. I am re-registering my family elsewhere as a result.

Fantastic experience: I saw Sumah last week with toothache and she was really kind. I went today for an extraction with her and dental nurse Sandra. Despite it being a tricky extraction, I was comfortable throughout and both ladies kept checking I was ok; Sandra even moved my hair away from my eyes without being asked! They both had a really nice, caring and calm manner. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Since being gassed as a small boy by a somewhat brutal NHS dentist and waking up during the extraction procedure because the gas bottle was empty, I have had a mortal fear of dentists & dental clinics in general all of my life since that traumatic day? Even the smell of a dental surgery or thought of a close impending dental appointment would throw my body into a pathetic state of fretful visible shaking? Then later I found that I no longer had no choice but to arrange an appointment as my remaining teeth were truly rotten & painful. My breath smelt appalling, unsurprisingly as I was being slowly poisoned, my digestive system was constantly under attack, and I had already been treated for (directly associated) two small stomach cancers & numerous polyps removal procedures. My inability to chew, eat and digest my food properly was quite conducive to my overall digestive process degeneration and bacterial poisoning! Now, (for the second time) I have been to the Brightsmile Dentist Clinic in Kingston Upon Thames, and on both occasions they were extremely sensitive to my terrors & fears and helped me work through them with patience & kindness. Additionally they have removed all of the offending teeth that were poisoning my bloodstream and given me help & guidance with a view to further specialised treatment by NHS specialist consultants at select hospitals? I’m 72 years of age now & the thought of their help, patience and kindness has restored much of my faith in human nature? So THANK YOU Brightsmile dental team for helping me turn my life around and guiding me forward to potentially longer happier life and longevity!

Negative experience: I had a disappointing interaction with the receptionist over the phone at this dental practice. Their lack of courtesy and abrupt manner left me feeling frustrated. It's disheartening to encounter such poor customer service, especially when seeking assistance over the phone.

Negative experience: Awful experience! Check and clean just took less than ten minutes. only cleaned a few of my lower teeth not all. Action was very rude and made me terrible pain and bleed. Not recommend.

Negative experience: Very poor. A young dentist Priya Patel put in a filling which fell our the next day. She did not remove the old filling and put the new one on top. When I called and asked for a more experience dentist to replace the filling the receptionist booked it as "an emergency" though it was not, and I waited for 2 weeks to see someone else. That one, Georgina, was 15 minutes late to invite me an and then refused to treat the cavity as it was an "emergency" and she did not have the time. A very unprofessional services form the whole team. Not recommended.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. My mother went today to get her teeth done. Absolutely horrible job. When she asked to go back and get it redone they said they can’t do anything for her tooth bridge and the job done was good. She can’t eat and there is nothing that can be done now as permanent glue was used as well when she specifically asked for temporary. The teeth are obviously uneven and no way to fix this due to a “doctor’s” bad work. Not a place I would recommend

Negative experience: If I could would give zero stars as felt neglected. Ended up going to my GP for antibiotics as the dentist I saw did not prescribe any despite saying that I have an infection in my gum. All he did was promote their £1000 worth implants or the option of pulling a tooth out. Don't think there is anything wrong with that tooth, but still how incompetent one has to be not to deal with the infection first, putting a patient at risk of sepsis and complications. Not setting my foot there again. My GP was baffled by the refusal to prescribe antibiotics for the infection and suggested finding a different dental surgery. The worst experience ever as I was very unwell and only thanks to my GP my condition has improved.

Fantastic experience: Have been using this dental surgery in Kingston for twenty years now and am very happy. Subusola is my favourite dentist because she is so good with nervous patients such as myself. Never had a any problems and the NHS prices here are so much less than identical treatment using private.

Fantastic experience: Best pain free dental treatment ever, by an 'all women team' that were second_ to_none! Although I had a mouth full of injections,- I felt not even the prick of any needles.) An excellent choice If you're a nervous patient. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic experience: I’m a classic nervous patient and had put off treatment for some time. If you feel the same, then I’d highly recommend Dentist Samah who is super friendly, and will make you feel extremely comfortable and relaxed in her care. Samah took on board my concerns, offering me the best, most minimally invasive procedure with the most longevity. She also has a clear passion for patient care and her work, maintaining great kindness and meticulous detail every step of the way. Thank you Samah for taking gold star care of me and my family, also not least to the lovely dental Nurse Sandra! Hope to see you soon, but not too soon

Negative experience: I would give this practice zero star if I could. My mum is a cancer patient and missed her appointment because she felt unwell on the day and ended up in the hospital, yet the practice showed a total lack of empathy for my mum who is very fragile and failed to provide written response to my emails or see me face to face. This practice shows the worst side of NHS which otherwise has been absolutely brilliant during my mum’s battle with cancer.

Positive experience: I've just had a filling done by Dr. Kim and assistant Eva and I have to say I'm absolutely delighted with the experience. I didn't feel any pain at all, Dr. Kim was very professional and Eva did make me feel very comfortable the whole time asking me if everything was alright and explaining me some parts of the process. Definitely an excellent experience thanks to both professionals. Don't give it 5 stars just because I find the fees high, but I suppose this is standard in the industry.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with this dentist. The staff were extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. I was blocked from accessing their services, despite being a long-time patient, simply because I missed an appointment over 10 years ago. I was pregnant and experiencing a lot of health issues regarding my teeth and really needed the help. Despite explaining this to the staff, they were unwilling to work with me or offer any kind of assistance. It's very disappointing to see a healthcare provider treat their patients with such little regard and empathy. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone looking for quality care and compassionate service.

Fantastic experience: My experience at this surgery has solely been with Ms Mana Nademi - an amazing dentist whose care, attention and patience has removed a lifetime of fear and apprehension of dentists away - and I have had experience all over the country spanning more than 4 decades! She really is very knowledgeable and a highly skilled professional and whoever I have recommended her to, has also praised her immensely. With an equally amazing personality and demeanour to match - she is the perfect antidote to demanding and highly nervous patients like myself!

Fantastic experience: I have a generalised anxiety disorder and also become dizzy when I am tipped backwards in the dentist's chair because of a problem with my right ear. I finished my treatment today to have a broken tooth repaired with a crown. My dentist kept me calm and reassured at all times fully explaining my treatment and what she was going to do on a step by step basis. The dentist I saw if one of the best I have EVER seen and I recommend her and Brightsmile to patients looking for emergency treatment!

Fantastic experience: My mother and I have been seeing Dr Stephen Suliman and Rimante (nurse) for fillings and implant placement for over a year. Dr Suliman is experienced, considerate and knowledgeable. Rimante is incredibly kind and professional. My mother is very anxious, however Dr Suliman and Rimante have been very good at explaining the procedure (implant placement) and putting her at ease. He is the dentist to see and to be treated by. Thank you to the whole team for such a good experience.

Fantastic experience: It was my first visit here. I took my son, who is 4 for his first check up as well. I thought the team was great, from reception through to dentist and technician.

Positive experience: I’ve been a patient here for 5 years. I have a ton of dental issues, so I’m usually very anxious. My general impression of the practice is that the dentists are great. Everyone from the hygienists to the specialists is excellent. I currently see Georgina or Dr Chawla, and I’ve also seen Tara for a specialist root canal. I recommend these dentists all highly. They’re informative, patient, and understanding. Georgina makes me feel very comfortable in our appointments. I take some issue with the reception staff and management, though I do think these have improved recently following the pandemic. Significantly, in fact. Earlier this year, one of the receptionists neglected to inform my dentist of a decision I’d made about my treatment, which led to a two month delay, with my condition worsening and becoming more expensive to treat. When I complained, the practice manager personally called me after hours and sat on the phone for about an hour to fix this, and she did what she could to fit me in urgently and ensure I got a payment plan set up in time. I was seen by the specialist and treated within a week. So, when they make mistakes here, they’re willing to rectify them. Overall, I’m glad that I have Brightsmile, even though I’ve had a few bad experiences there. I love the dentists, and that’s what really matters to me.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to see Dr Mana Nademi for years now and she is brilliant. She is always so friendly, helpful and is really kind to our young son. She has known our family for a long time and we get really good care and treatment when we go to see her. We have since moved quite far from Kingston but still continue to go to see her and I would definitely travel much further if she moved on from the practice.

Negative experience: Having read some of the 1* reviews on this site, I have to say that I am in total agreement with them. On 1 occasion while under anestheic they drilled and filled the wrong tooth. I complained and was given another dentist at the practice. On the next occasion I went in for a chipped filling on my lower jaw and again under anestheic she drilled 2 teeth on my upper jaw chipping one which had to be surgically removed at hospital and leaving a hole in another which she refuses to look at or repair and I think now that I'm going to lose that one as well. One of the 1*reviewers mentioned a black lady. Well it's easy to play the race card, but the problem is that I'm black too. So I have to agree that they are all about the money. I pay for my treatment and can only think that NHS patients are writing a blank cheque for them. Stay away from Bright smile Kingston. Your teeth have to last you a lifetime.

Negative experience: Had a cleaning done by a young guy he had no idea. When I got home I checked and still some stains going on. Really poor.

Fantastic experience: My dentist is always so helpful and explains procedures to me as well as how best to look after my teeth and gums and which toothpaste to use and toobrushes and which interdental brushes too. It is easy to book an appointment and you do not have long to wait when you arrive, my recent appointment was brought forward when there was a cancellation which was much appreciated. I highly recommend Brightsmile.

Fantastic experience: I attended the clinic self conscious about my teeth and I left with a huge smile on my face. Not only was the receptionists welcoming, the gentlemen, Dr Suleyman ,who examined my teeth, went in to thorough detail on how to take care of them, answered all the questions I had as-well as weighing out the pros and cons of different dental procedures.

Fantastic experience: I've been suffering with a toothache for the past few weeks and knew I had to now visit a dentist. My past dental experiences have not been great, but I was recommended Brightsmile Kingston by a family friend. I was seen by Dr Suliman and Rimante who was the dental nurse. From the onset of my appointment to leaving, I was supported and felt very welcomed and unlike past experiences it did not feel rushed. Dr Suliman was able to identify and tackle the issue and I am really grateful for the positive experience. Thank you !

Fantastic experience: Dr Hasan Asad and his assistant Anna works as a well tuned team. I had a new perfect crown done on another of my shattered tooth. Really impressive work - thorough, no rush. Through the whole process I felt huge attention to every detail. I also would like to thank the receptionist, who were very polite and helpful.

Negative experience: These dentists do not care about you or your teeth. They get you in and out as quick as possible as it makes them more money. Count your teeth, take an xray (for show) then do not adequately deal with what shows on that xray. No choices in treatment. Horrific. Do not trust any of them if you want to keep your teeth, get honest advice on solutions and treatment.

Fantastic experience: This is a two part review. Part 1. Regular dentist. I have been coming to Brightsmile, and Dr Tara and Nurse Monika for a long time and am finally proving them the awesome reveiw they deserve. Dr Tara is a brilliant dentist who has looked after my teeth so well for such a long time. She is very informative and reassuring and has genuine compassion for how I look after my teeth. Ably assidy by nurse Monika, Dr Tara is first class and I would recommend her and the practice to all. Part 2. I had my tooth extracted today by the wonderful duo of Dr Mana Nademi and Nurse Simona! Dr Mana was brilliant, she was so reassuring and provided me with the upmost confidence that I was in the best hands possible! My tooth came out with no fuss and no pain, excellent job! Highly recommended to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Brightsmile has been our family dentist for over 15 years. I can highly recommend Dr Mana Nademi and nurse Simona. Dr Mana is vigilant over our family's teeth and my children absolutely love her, so much so that they look forward to their next dentist appointment. Dr Mana explains everything in detail and very carefully, and has been really helpful with referrals to Orthodontists for both my daughter and I.

Negative experience: If you have. A serous, Heath condition, like epilepsy, they start off with great fantastic care, especially, my dentist mani, but if you condition , is the same after 3 years, they say. We have to start to charging you £100, under NHS guidelines, which is completely utter rubbish, it’s you fault you have a brain injury, & not our, so we are fed up , you coming here, so it’s a charge off £100 & blocking your number if you don’t aggree to pay, so youth luck.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Ahmed today to review my teeth after having invisilign treatment, this dentist is one of the best I have seen, Dr Ahmed talked me through everything he saw on xrays, showing me xrays and answered all questions i had, makes you feel very comfortable. would highly recommend

Negative experience: If I could have given 0 stars I would have. Brightsmile give me metal fillings that most dental practices have not used since the 1970s. They refused to give me white better quality ones for some unknown reason. I am having them all removed and replaced since the fillings Brightsmile have given me will expand and crack my teeth. Brightsmile lead me to believe that other dentists were money grabbing and that in my late 20s wisdom teeth would not ever come through. This was terrible advice since they are erupting right now, I have alot of inflammation and pain there and they should have been removed as advised by a competent dentist a year or two ago ... Unfortunately Brightsmiles dentists are incompetent and didn't care about my teeth getting crushed. After frequent requests for a referral to an orthodontist and them never organising it and me never receiving a referral. I have finally organised invisalign with a different dental practice. I am only now realising how terrible this dentist practice is and how little they care for my dental hygiene. They failed in so many areas. Sorry for the long review folks. But after visiting a dentist that is actually looking after my teeth I felt compelled to let people know that Brightsmile is a bad dentist and you all deserve much better service and quality of care.

Positive experience: Firstly, I'm a very phobic patient and Mrs Subusola Otunla has been amazing. I didn't think I could cope with having anything done (bad experience as a kid) but she's changed all that, she's very gentle and I can't recommend her enough. HOWEVER! The practice itself I'm not very impressed with. Scale and polish was once included with the standard band NHS treatment and they're now trying to charge £78 extra for this as apparently different PPE equipment is needed to carry out the work. I'm not convinced at all and just think they're trying to get more money. Reception staff could be nicer too!

Fantastic experience: I have been in many dentist clinics but brightsmile is by far The best. The reception girls are amazingly friendly And The don't forget about you on their waiting list. Dr Asad and Anna made me feel very comfortable, they were very patient with me And i didn't feel any pain something that never happened. If you are a nervous person like me i guarantee you that Dr Asad Will make you feel very relaxed.

Fantastic experience: I've had a few dentists in my time, and Hassan has to be the best. He says it as it is, informative and helpful. His hygienist work is the best I've ever had, though little uncomfortable, but that is not his fault, just the nature of my teeth :) I don't often write reviews, and can recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mana is my dentist at Bright smile. Her assistant is Simona. Dr Mana always explains to me what needs doing and she finds the best way for me and is aware of my financial status and try to find options that suits me. They are the best dentist practice. It is clean and they revamped the place and it looks amazing! The receptionists are always kind and friendly. I would highly recommend this dentist practice. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I would like to say thank you to Dr. Mana Nademi and all the staff there from Bright smile Kingston for making my son happy which time we see the Dentist. Before Aiden was so scared to go to dentist. I am grateful to Dr. Mana, she is always very welcome, kind to us and very professional! My son loves to go there for check up. She is amazing! Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I have been in this place 2 years ago Now because I haven't been there for 2 years they said the file is closed and refused to give me appointment

Fantastic experience: I wish Mana had been my dentist all my life, mind you she wasn't born when I started having problems with my teeth! Really good service, am a really nervous patient and both Mana and her assistant take very good care of me, making me feel at ease in the chair.

Negative experience: Very bad expierence. 2 feelings have came off in few months as bad trained dentists using cheap materials. Long wait for appointments. Dentists don't stay long there as every time new dentists' name appear.

Fantastic experience: Dr Junaid Patel did an amazing job on my wisdom took, painless and an excellent stich. The hole healed just as he assured me it would, he made the experience so simple! I will be coming back for the Invisalign service too! Thanks soo much!

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr Asad recently as a new patient requiring treatment. I found him extremely welcoming, approachable and professional - he was very clear and concise about what he was doing and what needed to be done. He made me feel instantly at ease when undergoing treatment and I am delighted with the results. I couldn’t be happier with my visit to Dr Asad and the rest of the team at Bright Smile.

Fantastic experience: Like a lot of people the dentist is not my favourite place but I can't speak highly enough about the effort Dr. Mana Nademi and Simona put into ensuring every visit is as pleasant experience as possible. At all times Dr Nademi explains what is going on in a very friendly and patient manner. My sessions have never felt rushed and in my most recent visit all my options regarding fillings where clearly explained. I always leave with any questions I have answered and wondering why I was nervous to go in the first place. All the staff I have encountered at bright smile make a trip to the dentist as good as it can get.

Fantastic experience: Have been to BrightSmile in Kingston for a number of years and recently received flawless and professional treatment from the exceptional Dr Asad. In a number of appointments from regular check ups to consultation on cosmetic procedures, no question was too much and time was taken to explain all available options clearly and to allow me to decide on the most appropriate treatment for me. The surgery has recently undergone a brilliant major refurbishment making it a pleasant and immaculately clean and hygienic setting to receive treatment, with extra measures taken to provide comfort and protection during the pandemic. I could not be happier with the treatment I have received from Dr Asad and team. 5*+

Negative experience: Because of my aspergers i find it difficult to attend my appointment this dentist has blockd me from ever going again it’s disgusting i have autism and they treet me like this worst dentist do not go to this one

Fantastic experience: To day I went to have a root canal. I am a very nervous patient and was very scared. Dr hassan and the dental nurse anna really looked after me and made sure I was ok. It was lovely that they really care about there patients and were very kind.i will definitely be going back and maybe not so scared next time

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Mana Nademi for several years and recently had to have a tooth removed. As always, Mana and her assistant made me feel at ease and explained everything to me. I can genuinely say that Mana is the best dentist I have ever had. She is professional, courteous, welcoming and clearly takes great pride in the quality of the service she provides. She is so warm and friendly it makes me want to visit the dentist more often!
