Fantastic experience: Nice, efficient

Fantastic experience: I have been waiting to get a dentist here in Manchester for 4 years now and when I finally got to Bexley Square they didn’t disappoint! Dr Kris and his assistant were more than welcoming and extremely friendly. Quick and professional service and I’m glad to have found my dentist finally.

Negative experience: I have never had any issues with the dentists themselves and have always been happy with my check-ups. However, the administration and customer service have been shockingly poor. My hygienist appointment on 31st October was cancelled by the practice on the same day it was due to take place. I had paid a £30 deposit in advance and requested a refund rather than rebooking, as I had a five-week-old baby at the time and it is not easy for me to arrange childcare. It is now January and, despite multiple phone calls, visiting the practice in person, providing my bank details (as requested by them) twice and sending two emails, I still have not received my refund. Neither of my emails was even acknowledged. The reception team could never provide any information or timeline, having to constantly chase for my money in these circumstances has been extremely stressful and upsetting. This refund has been outstanding since October for a service that was never provided. A truly awful experience.

Fantastic experience: Been coming for several years. While any dental appointment is ussually far from pleasant, the staff in this practice (at least everyone I have interacted with) make the experience much more enjoyable & stress free.

Negative experience: Cancelled my appointment 3 times at short notice (day before the appointment) in the past 2 months, having to wait a few weeks for the next one each time. Very unprofessional

Negative experience: Short notice for cancelling the appointment. Next available in a month. Instead of being prioritised, there was this uncaring voice at the phone saying that the doctor called sick and that’s it. Not even try to find a compromise for this inconvenience. I bet she has to repeat this all day long as I think I wasn’t the only patient booked for that day. Honestly I’m already looking for a better practice

Positive experience: Great place, my only one issue is that as a person who works during the week I typically set my appointments to be within lunch hours and on more than one occasion I have come in for my appointed time only to wait a further 10-15 minutes whilst someone else is ahead of me, which is an issue when you are trying to get back to the office within lunch time

Fantastic experience: Really pleased with consultation today with Dr Uthman Hamid. He was extremely friendly and explained the process of referrals, went through my current concerns, explained my X-rays and potential treatments thoroughly. I felt no pressure to make any decisions today and he encouraged me to consider the options and make an appointment when ready. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient, and they are very understanding. They have time to listen and are very good with me. I had a temp filling today and felt fine with it.

Positive experience: The dentist give me good advice about looking after my cums.

Negative experience: Not quite sure what’s happened here recently. I used to have great service, but they seem to have replaced all the excellent receptionists & dentists. Far too pushy on private treatment which will cost hundreds of pounds. Not offering NHS alternatives, the practice never used to run like this’s such a shame.

Fantastic experience: I'm an NHS patient under Dr Adeyoyin. After the dentist I'd previously had for my whole life turned private and removed all NHS dentists, I was left with no dentist and was searching for one for around 2 or 3 years. Recently I got lucky enough to find a place at this dentist and got an appointment. I was very nervous considering I hadn't been able to see a dentist in a while and had no idea what state my teeth would be in. She totally put me at ease and let me know that I'm doing fine, but just needed a filling on one wisdom tooth that was in a hard to reach place. The filling was a quick and simple process, and headaches that I've been having for a couple months went away so clearly issues with that one tooth was causing them. She gave me tips on how to best clean my wisdom teeth in the future as they're hard to reach. Not once did I feel like Dr Adeyoyin was telling me off when providing tips. Instead it felt more like she was giving genuine advice because she recognised that I was struggling to reach my wisdom teeth with a regular toothbrush and wanted to help me find a way to be able to reach them. I also have an anxiety disorder and ADHD which can make me prone to being a very anxious patient. Her manner was incredible and handled my nerves through actions to show that there's nothing to worry about, instead of saying 'just relax' like many people do when faced with somebody that has anxiety. I 100% recommend having her as a dentist and I hope this positive feedback can be passed along to her!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Maral, my dentist in Revive Dental Care. She is highly professional and clearly very skilled at what she does. She examined my teeth thoroughly and explained everything with care and confidence. On top of that, she’s a very kind and energetic person, which made the whole visit much more pleasant. Positive experience: Mostly good experiences, my old dentist I had for years was amazing, had a couple of not so great visits in between (see below), but the woman I have seen the last couple of times has been lovely! One time, I think last year, while having a filling, the dentist I saw was horrible. I have an ongoing jaw issue and she was basically shouting at me for not opening wide enough and fidgeting. I was in pain. My jaw basically dislocates, something she was aware of but made no effort to accommodate. Literally cried on the way home cos of how horrible she was, and the pain I was in. Not seen her since so hopefully she’s gone but it does make me a little anxious every time I go now. I was slightly annoyed when I was barely 5mins late for my appointment last week, I had left a vm to let them know (first appointment so no-one there when I called) by the time the receptionist was off the phone and checked in with the dentist they decided it was too late to see me and they’d have to reschedule. Not allowing a tiny bit of leeway feels unreasonable!

Fantastic experience: Adele and Harley have been absolutely amaing in the process. I had an issue with my dental hygeine appointment and unfortunately it did not go the way I expected. I contacted the previous manager about this issue and she told me she would not be able to offer me the outcome I was looking for. Adele however helped me out smoothly and gave me the exact outcome I was expecting without any issues. She heard me and understood me fully. I honeslty felt so heard and taken care of by her. I really appreciate her hard work in running the practice. She is amazing and I am so grateful for Adele and Harley too. These are the types of people who should be running health practices. Fantastic experience: My family and I just had check ups with James. He is a lovely dentist who made us feel at ease straight away. My son was a little anxious going in but was absolutely fine and wasn’t a bit scared as James spoke to him all the way through. The dental nurse Magda was also lovely and friendly.

Fantastic experience: A lovely small dentist practise, Sylvia the receptionist was very helpful in accepting myself and my under 18 girls as NHS patients to this practise as our previous dentist had gone private. The Dentist Dr Amaara Usman was also very friendly, professional and helpful. The downside was that there are no lifts in the practise, so not very wheelchair or pushchair friendly, parking is also an issue. We were lucky enough to get dropped and picked up from here. Overall extremely friendly and caring staff and a good dentist practise xxx
