Fantastic experience: Having not been to the dentist for several years I was very nervous. But the dentist was very reassuring and and quickly put me at ease and no discomfort. I then went on to the hygienist, who was also extremely good and gentle.

Fantastic experience: Dentist and assistant dentist were so lovely explaining everything so I understood it well and they in turn listened to my needs. Never ever had any problems with anyone who works here that includes the receptionist too they always go above and beyond and being a sufferer of high anxiety I will never go anywhere else ♥️

Fantastic experience: Everyone is very approachable at this clinic. Ewa is a fantastic dentist - it was a daunting procedure for me as the last root canal I had(many years ago and not with part of the Colosseum group)was horrible. Ewa made sure I was fully numbed, and checked in with me during the procedure to make sure I was okay, putting me at ease with her friendly, personable approach. She's a huge asset to the team, and I have every confidence in her going forwards.

Negative experience: Having been a customer with this local dentist for more than 7 years and always found the dentists and their assisting staff fantastic and very settling and reassuring in their demeanor, ability and focus on the patient, the reception staff well are hit and miss and always have been, Having recently visited and not visited for over 2 years due to having 2 major surgeries, a long stay in hospital and major cardiac issues over 6 months where I should be dead amongst other major health issues and disability I was informed I'd been taken off the system, stunned I said 'but nobody informed me' apparently it's policy so I said 'nobody informed me of that either', Having joined as an nhs patient in a time where it was easy to get good nhs dentists with free space unlike now, I started to panic because I'm the type of person that doesn't deal with change well, I'm very nervous and anxious in these sort of places, I struggle with disability and visual impairment so something as important as a good, relaxing, local and friendly competent dentist is very important to me, Clearly my needs and wants aren't really important to whoever operates the dental clinic and people like me are being kicked off the books to make way for all the people filling up the hotels free of charge but charged to the taxpayer just like the dentists, doctors and hospitals all being flooded too courtesy of the taxpayer, I myself was a taxpayer for more than 30 years before I became sick, but I'm expected to pay on a low income when others can walk into this country kick me off the list and get everything free, Fact I was NEVER informed of the dental clinics apparemt policy and NEVER informed that I needed to come before being taken off the list just feels very much like discrimination towards 1 a native of the UK 2 a sick and disabled person 3 forcing me to go private when I've worked all my life and paid my taxes unlike those entering the UK illegally every day, I expected better from this clinic and maybe a bit more understanding but the receptionist was as cold as ice and didn't even offer to help, it's a cruel country we are now in, but only if your a native uk person or tax payer, but if your not then it's jackpot every week for them courtesy and at the expense of people like me. Thanks

Negative experience: Totally unprofessional. They had a dental surgeon who was very unprofessional, she had a while seeing to me constant walking out the room to cough she was also very abrupt in her approach and clearly did not want to listen to me rather she was telling me, I had to have a 2nd appointment to rectify my problem and because I didn’t feel comfortable I requested if I could see another dental surgeon as I didn’t feel comfortable with her and the manager of the surgery refused my request and told me I can’t see another dental surgeon which I found quite rude as I made them know I was not comfortable. I told them to deregister me immediately.

Negative experience: Would have given them 0 stars if I could. My other half had to wait two weeks for her appointment, then on the very DAY of the appointment received a letter saying it was cancelled with no explanation. I then phoned as a prospective patient. When asked about the likelihood of my first appointment getting cancelled, Jade (the receptionist) said she could not guarantee it wouldn't be cancelled, and if this were the case I would have to join the back of the queue again like anybody else! Needless to say, no appointment was booked on this occasion :-)

Fantastic experience: From the friendly, welcoming reception to the end of my appointment, my experience was excellent. In particular my dentist, who was new to me as I've not had a checkup in about 4 years, was incredibly kind and attentive to my needs. She explained very clearly my options, costs etc. Although I am a disabled pensioner I was at no point made to feel patronised or 'different ' for which I was very grateful. I would have no hesitation recommending the North Gate Dental Practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Called up on Friday afternoon , got an appointment the next day, Parita and her assistant Claire very friendly and welcoming, I hadn’t been to a dentist in 15 years, no judgement and acted very professionally, had a tooth extracted same day, thought I would be paying an arm and a leg but they explained everything before any treatment was carried out so there was no nasty surprises and the cost of treatment was very reasonable compared to the nhs prices. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in the area

Negative experience: Started off really good treatment, but constantly having appointments cancelled (5) in 4 months so far due to unforseen circumstances (apparantley) ive been told by the staff at the practice they cant keep individual dentists due to the way southern dental treats the employees and dentists , very poor service now , looking to change .
