Negative experience: I would give them a zero, Don’t bother with this company, absolutely terrible, just had a hygienist appointment, what an absolute rip off, I was charged £75 went 4 months before it was only £46, how can it go up so much, we pay a month fee for poor service, avoid this practice, they are putting up fake good reviews, we are now cancelling our subscription as the best dentist is leaving, please don’t join

Fantastic experience: I went to Bewbush dental practice for a filling substitution as the previous had broken off. Bristi was my clinician and the nurse’s name was Rashmi, they were really nice and offered really good advice going into detail on the differences between the two filling types. Bristi was specially attentive and really seemed to know what she was doing. Thanks to both of them I was able to have a really nice treatment I wasn’t able to find anywhere else. I will be moving soon so I probably won’t have the opportunity to come again but I would strongly recommend this dental practice to anyone.

Negative experience: Avoid this dental practice! My tooth extraction and x-ray referrals were ignored for nearly 5 months despite my repeated contact and even visiting in person to complain. No calls were returned, and I was given misinformation throughout. I recently registered with another local NHS dentist, and they issued the referral within 24 hours! That's how it should be done! The Bewbush Dental Clinic has a terrible reputation locally — even other clinics are aware of their patient complaints and poor practices. Do not waste your time here, honestly.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely lovely dental practice! I phoned in the morning and the exceptional reception team managed to offer me a same-day consultation. Everything was handled so smoothly and professionally. My dental scale and polish were completed over just two back-to-back appointments, which was incredibly convenient. The whole team made the experience comfortable and pleasant.

Negative experience: Sadly this dental practice has gone from being one of the best to one of the worst. My toddlers dental appointments have been cancelled at least four times. The most recent time there was no alternative date offered! Luckily she doesn’t have any dental issues. We don’t live in Crawley and stayed with Bewbush as it was SO good before! We have moved to Holbrook in Horsham and we’ve had a fantastic experience! P.S I want to add over the years Coney had been extremely kind to my very introverted mother and had at one time checked on her to make sure she got home safely. She had really gone above and beyond the call of duty. The reception team in those days were the best! It was a really special team. Such a shame those days have gone!

Negative experience: Accused me of not paying for a treatment I had over a year ago, and wouldn't allow me to make an appointment until I proved I paid, or paid again. I proved I paid... but the attitude was like they were doing me a favour and I feel this was their own mistake they had no interest in fixing themselves or apologising for. I wouldn't suffer their service if NHS dentists weren't so hard to get. UPDATE had my appointment, and was asked to YET AGAIN prove I'd paid when I went in! The poor lady on the desk looked embarrassed while the terrible manager who should've dealt with this sat sheepishly behind her saying nothing. Joke!

Negative experience: Over the last year this practice has gone from bad to worst. Patient neglect is at a high, allowing patients to wait an unacceptable length of time between required appointments, leaving patients in pain and refusing treatment. Staff have no understanding and are not accommodating. Dentists at this practice are CHOOSING who they wish to treat, and when, resulting NHS patients unable to be seen. The obscene amount of practice managers this practice has gone through in the past 2 years is an indication of negative and poor dental surgery.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment to have a tooth looked at, but when I turned up I was seen by a dental therapist who told me she could only do a check up and not treat my condition, as it would need to be a dentist. She said I should have mentioned the problem when booking. I explained that I had mentioned it to the receptionist when booking, and I was taken back to reception. The therapist explained my condition at reception, and that I was in a lot of pain. I was then offered an appointment in September. We will be registering with a new dentist, as the whole set up is appalling.

Negative experience: I booked my son into nursery for 4 hours, had to have 2 braces removed by my orthodontist before my treatment and got to the practice to be told my dentist wasn't there l!! Negative experience: Absolutely terrible dentist clinic. Constant phone issues, constantly staff leaving. Would give zero stars if i could. Misdiagnosed here, leading to further issues. No one picks up the phone, they don’t check voicemails. They will constantly cancel your appointments last minute then offer another one over a month later. I got a taxi for an appointment at 10am in the morning and arrived to be told that they can’t do my appointment, yet no one had the decency to call me to tell me. I’ve stopped bothering with them for peace of mind. I will be complaining to the DCS AND ICB. This isn’t how a dentists should be run. Do yourself a huge favour and find somewhere else, anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I just registered with this practice and have nothing but praise. Bristi was my dentist and she was wonderful. Very empathetic and kind, talked me through the processes and kept me at ease. The ladies at reception are also really friendly. I was called up before my appointments to confirm I was still attending and got a text confirmation. If I could give more stars I would. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Negative experience: I have been using this dental practice for a few decades now and since South cliff took it over it has been a shambles. The only five star feature is Cony, a brilliant and dedicated dentist in that building who is the only one embarrassed and apologetic. Try getting anyone to answer the phone. Bookings made and cancelled. Angry customers berating beleaguered staff. Equipment breaking down, this week the X Ray machine, the other week the compressor. Revolving door of staff turnover. Shabby and detiorating equipment. Long waiting as it seems patient overload. You can't have a hygienist before your dental appointment now as the hygienists only work next weekend. What an absolute mess. Get your act together Southcliff. If you lose Cony you'll lose me.

Negative experience: I have been going to Bewbush dentist for many years as a privet patient and was very happy with them. Cony is an excellent dentist and couldn’t recommend her more. But in the last 2 years they have been terrible. Never answer the phone or Emails. I now can’t have a check up and hygiene clean on the same day. I am still waiting for a refund after they took money from my account for no reason for nearly a month. I have sent dozens of email and calls. Unprofessional and disappointing company. I will be looking for a new dentist.

Negative experience: This dentist is a complete joke since south cliff took over the receptionists are extremely rude change ur appointments with out telling you then call you a liar...many times in last few weeks have witness staff not turning up and manager just walking out, plenty of patients left waiting or walking out.something that normally takes a month or so has taken nearly 6 months and no end in sight as my appointment just keeps getting changed wouldn't normally mind but have paid up in full...don't use this dentist!

Negative experience: My wife Spoke to ‘Dora’ on the phone last week to book an appointment for me. My wife explained that I will need an appointment for the week following this one, as we will be away on holiday; this was agreed and an appointment was supposed to be scheduled for the 14th of April. Upon checking my emails for the details of the appointment, the appointment had been booked for the 14th of May. After just calling the practice, in the presence of my wife, Dora denied that this was discussed on the phone and alleged that she had explained to my wife that Cony was on annual leave and could not get an appointment until May. My wife had no knowledge of any annual leave whatsoever. I think my wife would have recalled if this was the case, as I have been in gradually worsening pain since last week and have been desperate for the earliest appointment. To learn this, I cannot for the life of me understand what it is we are paying for; it certainly isn’t great customer service.

Fantastic experience: I attend the dental clinic at this practice and am very satisfied with the care I receive from Cony however the hygiene clinic is a shambles i had an appointment on the 23rd of March 2025 and was greeted very warmly by the receptionist unfortunately he then went on to clean out the rubbish from the toilets and also acted as the hygienists nurse !!!! The whole experience at the hygiene clinic was awful and my teeth are still highly sensitive to hot and cold

Negative experience: Absolutely awful practice- really gone downhill! Cannot get through on the phone. All 'staff' in their own grubby clothes not wearing gloves or scrubs. So unhygienic! Dirty waiting area too, dusty. Receptionist changes all the time and always 'new' so doesn't know what they are doing or sometimes no receptionist at all! It needs sorting out ASAP.

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin with my experience with this dental surgery, I am not a good patient I find it very hard not to panic and feel anxious, Cony really is the most amazing dentist, calm, compassionate and above all brilliant at dentistry. Never will you be over subscribed/treated. I travel from Brighton to see Cony and it’s worth every mile. Positive experience: The lady on reception was brilliant with my little boy, it was a Sunday & we were the last appointment of the day. I would give her 10 stars if I could. Only reason for giving 4 was the fact my original appointment was cancelled as they said I had a debt but when I rang them this was quickly sorted & my appointment was rebooted. Negative experience: I had a good experience in January. Then in July they texted me a reminder to book my next appointment. I tried, over a two week period, called every day at different times, yet nobody ever answered the phone. I was put in a queue only to have someone hang up on me after 30 minutes. There were days when the call menu didn't even come up. I've given up and registered at a different dental practice, but I'm still receiving email reminders from this place which is rather annoying.

Negative experience: Before Southcliff group took over, this practice was outstanding. Phone calls answered after 3 rings, staff proud to work there, receptionists who went above and beyond to accommodate neurodiverse clients, and wonderful, gentle, patient dentists. Now phones aren't answered (I hung up after 1 hour 34 minutes in hold), the hygienist appointment was like I'd travelled back to the 1970s - teeth hurt for a week after - and a payment query had interest added for every day I didn't pay, even though all the delays in paying were due to their appalling customer service (not answering phone/calling back when messages left). AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Try and find a dentist somewhere else.

Negative experience: This dental practice used to be amazing. Top quality dentistry. Since being taken over by South Cliff Dental Group it has deteriorated massively. Issues with the phones where you can’t get through. 2 hrs on hold !!!! No message on the phone to say the phones are not working please come to the practice. No message shown on the web site to say there are phones issues. A simply notification to let people know would help but no nothing happens. Negative experience: It used to be an amazing dental, however since its name has changed the service became really poor, I tried to call them for 2 days in a roll to book an appointment and waited for 1hour and 54 minutes and gave up, so I went there and the phone was not ringing at all but the red light on it didn’t stop flashing, meaning people were trying to get through to them. There were four people at the reception so how can none of them pick up the calls, It is so disrespectful with the patients. I told them I needed an emergency appointment for my son and they could only offer me one for a week later.

Negative experience: Don't register for this dental practice. You have to wait at least 45min on the phone to speak to someone. And after booking your appointment they cancel without notice! My 1st appointment cancelled on the same day of review. The second appointment was also cancelled with very short notice. The worse, is you have to call them and wait 1hr on the phone to book a new appointment !!!

Fantastic experience: The rating is solely for my dentist earlier today. I had a tooth extraction and it was the easiest thing one can imagine. It took him 2 seconds quite literally, zero pain, zero post bleeding. He explained every step of the procedure to me. Not to mention that I was reluctant about removing my tooth, but after seeing it I know this was the best decision. I'm sorry I do not know his name, I never had it in my messages. I just know he is originally from Turkey, just mentioning this as he should get some recognition. Thank you. I read the other comments, Southcliff you are dealing with serious health issues. Negative experience: My daughter is 14, they wanted me to pay £480 (upfront) to do four white fillings. I managed to get them to let me pay 1 filling at a time (upfront) as I couldn't afford it. I was in shock. I went hone and started ringing around other dentists to see if this was correct, that I'd have to pay that amount, but nope, I shouldn't be paying anything for her. Next day I phoned the practice for a refund, they threatened to take me off their books as I'd enquired else where but they finally agreed to a refund. This was 12 weeks ago and I am still waiting for that refund! Each time I phone I get the same response, there's nothing they can do as its down to head office, obviously head office is not contactable by the public. I remember saying to someone the day I went for my daughters check up that actually I noticed not one person went out of there without having to pay something.

Negative experience: Bewbush dentist was a well established and respected dental surgery for years, the dentists are amazing and are very professional, however the practice has now been taken over by Southcliff Dental who is not interested in patients but money, I can see the practice going downhill fast with this group running the Practice, they want money up front even 6 months in advance for your next check up? Patients were used to top class dentistry and service but SOUTHCLIFF IS NOT PRACTISING THIS SHAME ON YOU SOUTHCLIFF time and people will tell on the outcome of this disgraceful Corporate company where Money is their only interest. I hope more people give their review on this disgraceful company

Fantastic experience: All the staff here are brilliant, had alot of work done, My dentist Hina was very thorough and caring. She was absolutely fantastic. If I was going to recommend a dental practice this would be the one.

Fantastic experience: I have been with the practice for many many years. Very caring professionals. I have always been explained about the treatments costs etc. Reception staff are friendly and welcoming. They are very advanced with all technolgy. The practice is very accommodating when arranging appointments. Friendly and warm welcome always.

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Cony highly enough, whenever I am anxious which is more often than not, she has a way of calming me, she always looks after me and she is excellent at her job, I know I’m in very safe hands with her, she’s amazing. Also her assistants and the receptionist’s are all lovely and welcoming, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

Positive experience: Once past the front door the experience was five star, but accessibility is poor for a wheelchair user. There is no way of opening the front door from a wheelchair, nor is there any means of requesting help. Access is then up a slope and over the threshold, requiring the chair to be tilted and the door to be held back by someone squeezed against the wall. I would have thought that this does not meet current guidance. The reception staff were brilliant and helped as soon as they knew the need. The dentist was very caring and thoughtful. So no complaints about the service at all.
