Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience with the dentists at Blagreaves Dental Practice,from being examined by Mr Bola,I had a wisdom tooth which was giving me hell.Mr Bola explained all the procedures.He was kind and understanding.He advised me to get OPG X-ray at RDH and I dropped the results at dental practiceon Friday.They called me same day to let me know they can take it out.I was bit skeptical ,i asked to see the dentist again before the extraction.They booked me for Monday morning, was seen by Mr Bola who assured me that all will go well.Midday the practice called to let me know they can remove it in the evening at 5pm To be honest I was really scared thinking of the pain after extraction.I was called to the surgery room ,Oh! I met such a lovely dentist Mr Gurdeep Rehal,and the other lovely lady can’t remember her name.I can’t thank them enough the process was smooth and he also explained aftercare.I did not feel the pain at all after,Am healing well .I highly recommend this Dental Practice.Everyone is lovely from reception to treatment.

Negative experience: I had an oral surgery, my severe dysplasia was removed in Derby Hospital and one of my teeth was traumatising the wound which a quite large one on the side of my tongue. After I was speaking to my doctor that was advised by him to see a dentist who can smooth down my tooth asap which is rubbing this wound. Because I just moved to Derby a few months ago I have no dentist yet in Derby. I did a google search and I found Blagreaves Dental Practice near me. I was in pain, I couldn’t speak, so I contact the practice via email and explained all these what I need and asked for their earliest appointment. They replied me promptly but only about how much would be the examination, x-ray, which £85. I replied back and said I happy to pay £85 upfront but in one condition, if I know when my issue will be solve, so asked them in email again when would be the earliest appointment. Also I explained that I don’t need this time x-ray, because I can’t stand even the examination or x-ray as my large wound is still healing and so painful. Then I also asked about how much would be smoothing down one tooth. But they couldn’t tell me after many times I was asking about that again and again. They said the dentist will tell me that what I need and how much would it be when I was examined by the dentist. So it sounds their pricing is fluid, is not transparent at all and I felt they just want my money without sharing that with me when I can have the treatment. Only they wanted to make sure about I pay the £85 to secure the booking. Who would pay £85 without knowing when is that emergency appointment? Who will pay this £85 without knowing how much to pay for the additional treatment? I already had a similar bad experience with another company, so I was more cautious this time. So emails went back and forwards all day long, meanwhile I was in extreme pain in my mouth but they were interested only to pay this £85 upfront. I tried to pulling out from them the appointment time and the additional price but they held these details back. So we were on email discussion for a day but still only important question for them was that I have to pay £85 first. So after one day has gone without having treatment and I still didn’t know about the time and full price, I decided to contact another dental care, who gave me an emergency appointment without paying a penny upfront only at the front desk when I arrived at the practice and they were able to give straightaway the full price too on smoothing down a tooth. I emailed back to Blagreaves I am not interested anymore to have the treatment with them. I'm sorry to say this, but Blagreaves Dental Practice behaved in this situation like a greedy company without showing any empathy or compassion. It's a shame that most companies behave like this in the present they put their interests before patients, only important to them to take patient’s money before they provide enough infos and the details. Patient’s problem is just secondary for them, but patient’s money is the primary one! Just a good advice: teach your staff or choose people to work for you, who can show more empathy and compassion as well and not just learn your protocol and policy. The good news is my problem and pain was solved but not by Blagreaves.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this dentist highly enough. The dentist was absolutely amazing with my children who are 5,3 and 1. He made them feel comfortable and safe, talking them through each part of what he was doing, explaining everything and making it fun-like an adventure. He was calm, gentle and praised them throughout. He has a wonderful manner with children. They found the whole experience incredibly fun and that was before they had even chosen their sticker!! Thanks so much.

For this reason alone, I changed practice. So pleased with my decision. I met Amani my new dentist and she instantly made me feel welcome. Having recently signed up with you, we were truly impressed from start to finish. The pre-appointment communication was excellent – we really appreciated the call offering an earlier slot due to a cancellation, and the 24-hour confirmation call was a thoughtful touch. Upon arrival, the reception team was incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting a positive tone. It was also a huge relief to find ample car parking space, which made our visit stress-free. Most importantly, we were seen by the most incredible dental team: Nimisha and Nisha. As someone who is typically very nervous in the dentist's chair, I cannot overstate how comfortable and at ease they made me feel throughout the entire treatment. They are a truly great team, working seamlessly together, and their professionalism combined with genuine care was outstanding. Fantastic experience: This was our first time going into this surgery and l have to say, first impressions were brilliant, from booking at reception with the lovely Laura and getting us an appointment so quickly, to our lovely dental surgeon, Zaheed along with his assistant, Star, also Emma on reception to, infact all of the staff were so lovely and friendly, we felt really happy and looked after, keep doing what you all do as its a credit to the Surgery as well as yourselves.....

My appointment only ran 15 minutes over which is more than reasonable as I've waited up to 45 minutes to an hour at other dentists.

Fantastic experience: From entering the surgery ,you are always acknowledged and welcomed by the fabulous reception team,who whilst very friendly remain polite and professional at all times. The waiting areas are very clean and tidy as is the WC. I appreciate having reminders sent via text when my appointments are due and the fact you try and fit patients in when there has been a cancellation . I work full time and this is always taken in to consideration when I book appointments. Leaflets are displayed in the waiting area which contain information on different dental procedures ,these are available for patients to help themselves to. My dentist Maria always explains things clearly before starting treatment. I am a very nervous patient and she is good at keeping me calm. I have undergone a lot of procedures lately from tooth extraction to having an inlay fitted and have been extremely grateful for the level of care shown by every member of the team Thankyou

Fantastic experience: Mr Bola recommended a small treatment behind my top front teeth. I had it done because I had ground my dentine away & my front teeth were virtually clear at the bottom. I’m so happy as it looks like I’ve got a new smile, my bottom jaw is having to sit further back to allow my jaw to shut. Mr Bola warned it might take 3 months to get used to it, or I might even want it removed, but no….I’m now thinking what other great work he can do without too much trauma. Thank you

Fantastic experience: All the staff at Blagreaves have been incredible and everybody goes the extra mile to ensure you are happy and comfortable throughout. The practice have amazing communication with patients and Emma on reception has always been kind and helpful with any queries. Before my hygiene appt, I was very nervous, but Anita took the time to build rapport. She was kind, caring and showed absolutely no judgement. It is evident that at Blagreaves, one of their key focuses is positive patient experience whereby you always feel valued as a patient. Mr Bola has been so friendly and kind, offering patient-centred treatment every step of the way. I feel as though he as gone above and beyond to ensure that I am happy with my treatment. Through this, it shows that not only is he an amazing dentist, but he genuinely cares about his patients and their outcomes. From fillings to whitening treatment, with his incredible attention to detail, he has completely transformed my teeth. I feel like a different person and it has given me the confidence to smile again which is something I will never be able to repay him for. I am incredibly grateful to him and his team. All in all, I have gone from someone who was so terrified of dentists that I had not step foot in a practice for 8+ yrs, to leaving each appt smiling ear to ear. Fantastic experience: Very professional setup inside, was recommended by a friend as I like many struggle with dental visits and have had a few issues as of late and was directed here, I decided it was now or never, i was welcomed in very friendly manner at the entrance and during a pleasant conversation with the dentist I felt confident to go for the treatment, treatment and removal today was incredibly well handled very curtious towards my anxiety and stresses and was making sure I felt comfortable and not in pain during the removal, it went really well with a new visit planned for a couple of weeks to help get me upto scratch. never before would I have had the confidence to return but the staff and dental team are so friendly and comforting with words I feel looked after and at the centre of attention when being dealt with, theyre a great team and i would very much recommend if you struggle to go and get things done or even simple check ups!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely superb dentist and lovely receptionists. I saw Mr Bola and as soon as I met him my dentist phobia was gone. Having not seen a dentist for 20 years my teeth are not in the best shape. I landed up having to contract this practice due to a nasty abscess. Thankfully it's being treated now and I look forward to coming back to get my smile back in good order. I have high functioning Autism and these things are not easy for me, but thanks to my best efforts to conquer anxiety and the wonderful treatment I received from everyone at Blagreaves Dental Practice I will never be afraid of the dentist again! Fantastic experience: This dentist advertises that it is taking on new patients so when I returned to the UK in December 2020 I applied to join the surgery as an NHS patient. I was told it might take a few months - in the meantime my husband has died but I am still waiting to hear from them 4 years later. UPDATE. I have now been taken on by the practice and have received excellent service especially when my tooth broke in half the day before I was going on holiday. Reception staff and dental nurses are all friendly and polite. Stairs up to some of the treatment rooms may be an issue for some people but very happy with how things have gone.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to express my big thanks to my dentist, Vishal Dhimar who I saw today for a deep clean. Have seen him twice now and found him to be very friendly and informative about the dental treatment, nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic experience: I usually dislike anything to do with dental treatment, but I had the most comfortable relaxing hygienist appt last week at Blagreaves Dental Practice. I can honestly say that the care and the attention to detail was superb. It was one of the best hygienist appts I've ever had. No pain or discomfort and a lovely hygenist who was very professional and down to earth. I really did leave with a smile on my face because I felt like I'd had a mouth massage :-) Job well done. Thank you Paulina! In addition, the customer service generally at this practice is excellent!

Fantastic experience: I needed to find a new dentist, to get urgent xrays and work done, and was dreading what I expected to be a battle, and to then have poor choices if any. I was recommended to try Blagreaves as they have a very good reputation, and they have a policy to make available emergency appointments at short notice, and not just for existing patients. From my first call, their level of professionalism, training and great service based around customer care was exceptional. When attending my appointment, the premises were warm and welcoming, spotlessly clean and parking was readily available. The whole reception team were friendly and welcoming, and made time to answer all my questions. I honestly can't remember the last time, I witnessed a team that obviously love working with each other and their jobs. The dentist himself was so warm and welcoming, as was his nurse, and they were genuinely interested in me as a paitent, and as a person. The dentist took time to explain everything clearly, as I require a few procedures, and I felt under no pressure to commit to all of them, as dental procedures are not inexpensive and soon add up, and he obviously respects that everyone has a limited budget, especially now, when many are under financial pressure, due to all outgoings having increased far more than the average salary. I felt confident to accept all his recommendations, as I already knew I was in the hands of an exceptional dentist. They also fitted me in same day for an extraction, and I have multiple appointments next week and the week after for additional procedures. Due to the importance of the procedures, I overheard the dentist inform the receptionist in a very friendly yet firm way that, it's important they find space in the diary, even if this meant moving things to accommodate me, as my procedures are not routine checkups, and slots need to be found. I was impressed to say the least, and it was overheard, not said for my benefit. Normally all you get told these days is 'computer says no', no one goes the extra mile, or puts themselves out to make things possible. In today's world, I no longer expect when dealing with any company, to be served by staff who are well trained and knowledgeable, let alone warm and welcoming and make time to go through everything until you are comfortable and all your questions are answered, and put the customer / Paitent at the centre of all they do. I can not recommend this dentist practice highly enough, they've literally blown me away, and I'm not someone who is easily impressed. This excellence in my opinion starts at the top with the dentists, and filters down through all the team. I honestly applaud you all, and can't thank you enough. Your good reputation is obviously well earnt, and well deserved, and I'm so glad I was recommend to come to yourselves as I am truly a happy Paitent and now an advocate of your practice. Its also worth mentioning, they costs were not unreasonable, in fact slightly cheaper than my previous, average at best dentist, where I felt more like an inconvenience than a valued Paitent. Thank you for restoring the confidence of a synical man, who thought the days of exceptional treatment and service were long gone, as they still exist at Blagreaves Dental Practice, and long may they continue to.

Fantastic experience: The dentist who performed the dentist work to replace an old crown of over thirty years old, did an amazing job . My new implant is great , it was a tricky one to replace, however, the dentist managed it and I feel so good to be able to smile and eat properly with my new crown, a fabulous dentist, Blagreaves dental practice , Mr Bola.

Fantastic experience: Two check ups a year & no work needed for 12 years +. Nice to have seen the practice grow since the original dentist retired. I am an nhs patient. Husband opted for private at change of ownership. We are both happy with the service we get.

Fantastic experience: We've been patients at Blargreaves for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. Today I saw a lovely dentist Maria K today. Although I'm not a nervous patient and quite confident at the dentist, she was kind and considerate. She had a great manner and made me feel totally at ease.
