Fantastic experience: A very professionally run practice which has been looking after all my dental problems for several years. I have always received appointments quickly and treatments very effective. My thanks to everyone at the practice.

Positive experience: Same issue as many. I have appointment at 2:30 and it's 3:20 and still waiting. If they do like this in emergency then what will be done with normal patients. If we come late for ten minutes then not be checked and be told that you are late. Very sad due to this condition otherwise doctors and staff is good.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ten is an artist and a saint!! The dentist I was supposed to see ended up on leave last minute, which wouldn't be a huge deal except reception wrote my number down wrong so couldn't tell me in advance, and I was travelling from norwich and had a train to catch 2 hours later! I cannot fault them for this, a small typo was made much worse by circumstance. Reception are also angels, they managed to get me booked in with another dentist an hour and a half later, and then with a 3rd dentist when that dentist was running over. They kept me updated on timings and did everything they could to make sure I got my filling and didn't miss my train. Dentist number three was Dr Ten. He double checked he would have enough time to do the filling to a standard he was happy with. He also identified a second cavity from my previous xray, and made sure that was filled also. I mentioned I was nervous and was unsure if I needed the filling, he gave me so much reassurance, and took pictures on my phone of each step so I could see there were definitely two cavities, and so I could see what had been done afterwards! There was absolutely no pain for the entire thing, the numbing injection I was expecting to be painful but that was the one thing he took his time on, he made sure it was pain free. He told me exactly what each tool was for and let me see it in action briefly before use. I knew I was in the safest hands and this massively lowered my anxiety. Somehow he finished with a few minutes to spare, just enough time to take a final picture, and the filling is immaculate! The anaesthetic has worn off, I've got no pain and my bite is perfect. He really saved my day, I am incredibly grateful for him taking the time to see me, and for his kindness and dilligence.

Fantastic experience: So I visited the dental practice on the advice of a friend who has been a patient at the practice for many years now. The practice is a real inner city dental practice with polite receptionists who made me fill in a new patient form and wait patiently for Dr Umar. I waited about 20 mins, he saw me and took x rays straight away. He assessed my teeth health very quickly and stated I needed a deep clean. His communication was very clear and he mentioned my options to me. His deep clean was not painful on gyms and he was very open about my dental hygiene methods. He said I had been brushing too hard with an electric toothbrush and that I needed to use something softer. It was all very no nonsense and to the point. I do recommend so far.

Negative experience: This practice doesn’t even deserve the one star! Both my parents were registered at this dental practice. They visited Dr Ten. He was rude, obnoxious, very aggressive with the way he was pulling at their teeth and gums. Leaving my father with a wobbly tooth and my mother with sore/ bleeding gums for a weeks. He picks and chooses who to treat with respect. This occurred on two separate occasions with both. Horrific service!! I wouldn’t recommend this dental practice to anyone. Also please do go with your elderly parents, do not let them go alone!! Especially if they do not fluently speak English! Vulnerable NHS patients will stuggle at this practice.

Fantastic experience: My mum has been a patient here for approximately 2 years. She was very nervous to have work done but with the help of Dr. Jabeen and her calming and kind demeanor, she was able to go ahead and have the treatment she needed with minimal worry. Emergency treatment was needed today which Dr. Jabeen and her nurse Amira completed. Dr. Jabeen, after not seeing my mum for over a year, remembered who she was. This shows Dr. Jabeens interest in her patients which again, left an overall feeling of calm throughout the procedure. She is extremely professional, and compassionate.

Fantastic experience: My favourite dental practice with very friendly staff and a clean space! A big shoutout to my amazing dentist who always does an amazing job Dr Jabeen and her lovely nurse Amira my teeth have became so much better ever since coming here. The place is very clean and very quick!

Negative experience: I had an appointment at 12 o clock,but the dentist didn't see me until 1:20 pm. I was waiting for the doctor to apologize because he was very late. After a long wait, I got in, the doctor didn't even apologize. He said if you're not satisfied, you can leave the room. I left the room without any services. I have never seen such an unprofessional doctor. I strongly believe that this doctor doesn't know what professional ethics are. Reply to you comment Your response is like a doctor's behavior. Fantastic experience: Ten out of ten service from Dr Ten and the reception team. Came on a weekday for an emergency NHS appointment and the wait time was about 30 minutes. Dr Ten was incredibly efficient and also gave very useful tips along the way. He also disclosed the pricing at the start which was extremely helpful. Reception was lovely too. Overall would recommend!

Negative experience: I have to give 1 star to be able to leave the review, not worthy of even 1 star unfortunately. Waiting times are too long, Dr Omar very obnoxious and ignorant, he thinks he knows everything and refuses to listen to the patient. Let down by this practice. Overall the practice is dirty and cleanness does not seem to be their priority. This practice and Dr Omar should be looked into by higher authorities and investigated thoroughly.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist I had a huge chip on my front tooth and the service was great it may have been a little wait to see the dentist but they really do make up for it . I am very happy and the staff are very friendly . I advise anybody who needs treatment to definitely go here .

Negative experience: Absolute rip off never clear about prices always trying to add extras just walked out as had ro go private booked a scrape and polish that was aparantly £75 for 15 mins and were still tryong to get another 75 off me. Receptionist are rude and place is dirty

Positive experience: I've been to this practice for several years now. The dentist's and reception staff have always been very friendly and professional. I'm always a little anxious when visiting the dentist anyway so this really helps me feel a little calmer. Have to edit this review simply because regardless of what time I attend I have to wait between 30-40 mins sat around till I'm actually seen.

Negative experience: My appointment was at 4:30pm which now is 5:45pm it’s always the case takes to long to be seen, but when someone doesn’t make the appointment or be late they won’t see you or they will remove you of the registration.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ten is a great Dentist. He advised me of how to prevent tooth decay and ever since then, I have never had a hole in my tooth and my teeth have stayed cleaned. His advice, a long with brushing twice a day, is a great combination and will help massively.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving treatment by Dr Ten, and I can honestly say that he and the team at Birch dental have been brilliant. Dr ten has been amazing while dealing with my dental needs. After every visit for my treatment plan I have left with a feeling of genuine care by him. It’s very difficult to find a dental practice that can take new NHS patients on, I have had to use a few emergency dentist’s recently and it’s hit and miss with the care you receive. I cannot fault this practice in anyway whatsoever. Absolutely wonderful.if you are a patient here consider yourself lucky.

Fantastic experience: I have Received very warm welcome from birch dental practice. They both were very helpful called Dr Khan (Amara) and Hawa. The dentist was very nice and informative. The staff was very friendly and helpful and she was honest and straight forward. I rang in the morning and they book me at evening. They provided excellent service and I will be coming here for all my future dental needs. I had very worse night and woke up early in the morning because of the pain.I visited after 9 years. I can see the improvement in the dental practice. You guys are champions best of luck!

Positive experience: Positive: My wisdom tooth extraction by Dr Ten was excellent so feel like you will be provided with excellent care for dental emergencies and urgent issues. The admin and front desk staff are also always very lovely! Negative: I am under the impression that this practice is exceptionally full and staff are constantly on a time crunch. My appointments have always felt very rushed and I’ve never received a scale and polish during the routine appointments I have been able to get, despite paying for them.

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful to Dr Umar and his assistant for seeing me recently and helping me with 6 fillings I needed after struggling to get an appointment with a local dentist that had previously signed me up but then refused to see me after covid. The treatment was done over 2 appointments and was calming, quick and painless which definitely helped calm my nerves. Due to the amount of treatment, I expected to be in a lot of pain afterwards but this was not the case which is credit to Dr Umars expertise as I am no longer riddled with pain. He talked me through what was happening which put me at ease and gave lots of advice in keeping up my hygiene. The fact that I am also breastfeeding was also taken into account in my treatment and I was also provided with a prescription for my aftercare which went above and beyond. From all my treatment with different practices over the years I have never had such quality of care and fully recommend Dr Umar and his team to anyone needing treatment. Thank you soo much!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Umar and his assistant Amina were so amazing. Dr Umar explained to me what was wrong very clearly and told me what the solution will consist of. Amina was very welcoming and assisted Dr Umar very efficiently. Dr Umar also went above and beyond and tackled a few other problems, I wasn’t aware of, in the same appointment. Negative experience: Horrible, This is my first time with dr Umar, i had a really bad pain in one of my teeth and i just wanted to sort out that one teeth, he started to tell me that i have horrible teeth , and that I don’t take care of them and started to give me a lesson, he was in a hurry did a temporary filling in 3 minutes, he was so aggressive, kept saying I’m not looking for patients I’m always busy ,and i asked for the price three times before the procedure, and no one answered, asked receptionist and they didn’t know, when i asked Umar he said i need to look into it and did the procedure without letting me know what is he doing and what’s the plan and how much does it cost. just don’t go there it’s not worth it , find a better doctor

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr Umar - removed my wisdom tooth beautifully. I had been waiting for over a year to be seen through referrals at other places and finally it was sorted here in one appointment. Very professional and made quite an awkward shaped tooth look easy to remove felt like I was in safe hands.

Negative experience: The dentist explained things but was condescending when I had questions. He talks to you like you're a child. The receptionist on the phone tried to insist on me paying for a filling appointment before telling me what date the appointment would be. I understand pre-paying for an appointment but surely not before disclosing the date. She also cut the phone on me. The referral number I was given for a procedure was not on the system when I checked online. Expect about an hour's wait from your appointment time.

Fantastic experience: I visited Birch Dental Practice today. I had the best treatment with Dr Omar. I have multiple sclerosis. I shake alot because of my MS. I was made to feel at eas and I was very well looked after by Omar and the nurse. I was impressed with the service. I definitely recommend this dentist. I will b going back. I rate the team 10/10

Negative experience: Dr yusuf seen this dentist for years like 15 .all they did was polish my teeth almost every time I went . Refusing to do fillings .saying it’s cosmetic . Teeth broken.but visiting dentist told teeth fine lol . Also last visit dentist claimed to deep cleaned my teeth.but they have scared them . I never got appointment reminders. I would avoid this dentist. Has said thing like in there country .i would not get any dental care .when I complain about treatment. Negative experience: Every time I book an appointment here I just know I will never be seen on time. On my last visit booked slot got taken by another walk in patient. waited for 20 minutes after my appointed time . This time my appointment was at 2 I arrived 10 minutes early and 20 min later was still not seen to. I got my money back and left. Negative experience: Mr ten was really lovely the full work wasn't done that was told to me. £750 3 appointment dentures are disgusting slanted and had to put glue in them straight away , I'm extremely upset about this and even tried to take my life

Fantastic experience: I was looking for dental practice a lot more local than my previous one which I hadn't been to since before the pandemic. After phoning a few places I found this one which happened to also be recommended by a friend. This one fitted me in the very next day (I had a bad tooth ache) & were a lot friendlier on the phone than the other places I rang. A great team inc. Dr Tan, Dr Umar & Dr Timmy + the receptionists Aminah & Lauren. All very friendly & very professional. 10/10.

Negative experience: WORSE MANAGEMENT: WORSE DENTIST : After getting appointment at 4’o clock waited 2 hours and 15 minutes but no chance to see the worse dentist after that much wait . Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic dental practice – Dr Ten is amazing. Like many people, I’ve always tried to avoid going the dentist due to fear of needing work done (the needles and drilling etc…), so have only really gone if I know something is wrong. However, last month when a tooth broke, I required urgent help. On hearing my issue, Birch Dental Practice reception staff managed to fit me in the same day and Dr Ten put a temporary filling in to tide me over until the next week when he could do the full repair work. Dr Ten was very welcoming and shows a genuine enthusiasm for his work and patients. He was great at explaining clearly all the way through what was required and what he was doing, which for me relaxed me and really helped the process. He is extremely skilled in his work which made the process as painless as absolutely possible. I’ve used many dental practices over the years and this was definitely my best experience; so much so I’m definitely going to keep to my check-ups this time! The Practice rooms are spotlessly clean and modern, and all the staff I interacted with are friendly and helpful. I would (and do) recommend this practice to anyone I know. Thank you!

Who went out of her way to accommodate me. I was booked in to see the lovely Dr Timmy who was very kind and patient with myself as I am not great with anything related to dentist. He made sure I was comfortable and put me at ease in an instant. He's assistant Salwa equally as brilliant. So I left Birch dentist very happy and impressed with my results. So anybody looking for an Excellent dentist check Birch dentist out very professional and not just an average dental practice.... Of course if possible ask for Dr Timmy you won't regret it. ❤️

I had tooth problem over the weekend, my family forced me to make an emergency dentist appointment anywhere in Manchester but I refused it because I have no trust whats so ever and I wait for my appointment with my best Dr Ten and guess what my wait well paid off.This is the best place to go to take care of your teeth. The reception staff is best.Dr.Ten is a very professional, kind, polite and courteous dentist. He has provided us with 'First class' treatment every time. Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars I honestly would. Avoid this place at all cost! The receptionist is extremely rude and speaks in a very patronising manner, I was shocked to hear how unprofessional she was. I recorded the conversation and will be forwarding it to higher management. All they care about is taking your money and not offering any adequate care. If you want to be treated like dirt, this is the place to go.

He ensured the area affecting the abscess was cleaned thoroughly, he also gave me some toothpaste for gum sensitivity and tips on how to improve gum health. Thank you for all your help! Oh, I forget to mention the receptionist, who managed to get emergency appointment booked the same day. Thank you! 21.4.21. Update.. fractured my tooth. Seen Dr Yusuf for treatment. I would like to add to my previous review. Dr Yusuf is excellent she took her time to repair the fracture to enable the filling to stay in place. We discussed whitening which I decided to go ahead with I was given all the information and supplies to care for my teeth before and after whitening treatment. If I could give 10 stars for the service received from Dr Yusuf and all the birch dental practice staff I would. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: I am in love with this place. Starting from receptionists which are always polite and do their best to help, ending with dentists. Dr. Ross is a star, my 3 year old has a positive experience with the dentist and has been treated for her dental condition. I can only recommend him. A caring and professional dentist.

Negative experience: Save yourself!!! I have been going here for years and seeing dr Umar however, I recently went for a temporary filling where he drilled too deep and touched my nerve without applying enough numbing whiched caused my agonising pain. After ringing up the nurses told me I had an “abscess” which I have had before and didn’t seem similar at all, they then told me I had an infection and need to pick up antibiotics. Arriving at the practice they asked me if I’d like to see doctor Tim, I was given the prescription plus more numbing and a clove tincture, and told dr Umar had drilled too deep and hit a nerve and this may result in a root canal. As a 18 year old I’m not thrilled to have a root canal, I went back five weeks later to finish the job and get a permanent filling everything seemed fine until I got there waited two hours to be seen and two hours later after staying away from food or drink the filling pops right out of my mouth. Honestly cannot believe this one problem after the other and now his mistake could ruin my tooth. Please save yourself and stay away from this hell on earth.

Negative experience: Don't bother. Every time i book an appointment here i just know i will never be seen on time. On my last visit i waited for 90 minutes after my appointed time before i was seen. This time my appointment was at 12:15, i arrived 15 minutes early and half an hour later was still not seen to. I got my money back and left. Will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Great experience from start to finish. Receptionists are very professional and courteous. I was in a great deal of pain and an emergency appointment was not available till a few days later, Amina one of the receptionists phoned me and told me that a cancellation had just happened and I could be seen within 2 hours. Dr Umar performed a root canal and I feel like the pain never existed even though a week ago I felt like ripping my hair out. A very happy patient indeed

Fantastic experience: Very clean and all up to date with COVID restrictions, receptionist is always welcoming especially Amina, always going above and beyond, Dr Umar who I have been seeing for a very long time always looking after my needs and listening to what is best for me.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant service. I was seen by Dr Avery who gave a very thorough cleaning and review. I felt very safe with appropriate distancing, everything visably being cleaned regularly and ppe worn. The prescription he gave was great and I've had no sensitivity since using the products. Would definitely recommend.
