Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say how happy I am with my service from GCG dental. I got given an emergency appointment through 111 and was nervous to see a dentist for the first time in 15 years. There was no need to be nervous. The receptionist was friendly, the dental nurse was a delight and Yvie is an incredibly skilled, wonderful dentist. Thank you all so much.

Negative experience: Poor, Not recommended my wife visited your practice—I dropped her off, and she returned crying with a bloody gum, saying no one listened to her or addressed her concerns properly.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unprofessional and Poor Care I had a terrible experience at this dental practice. I was a 111 patient, and when my veneers came out, the dentist glued them back, but he put glue between my teeth, and it dried. I noticed that in the car and when I returned back in a couple of min, the glue was dried and they gave me something to try remove it , which ended up cutting my gum. I even had to go to the restroom to try to fix it myself (which is unprofessional, to say the least, allowing a patient to correct a mistake in the restroom). The dentist, who seemed newly graduated and lacked experience, was aggressive in trying to remove it, using a scaler in a way that splashed water all over my face and into my nose, and he didn’t care, he acted angrily. I then went to the manager, showing her my bloody gum, but she dismissed my concerns. It felt like they only cared about money, not patient care. I was treated poorly and would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had what should have been quite a traumatic procedure today! But it wasn't! Sid is an amazing Dentist I'm totally relaxed because I know I'm not going to feel a thing! If Dentistry was an Olympic sport I have no doubt that Sid would bring the gold medal back for Britain! 10/10

Fantastic experience: Staff always pleasant and very friendly, today had a tooth removed, it was a difficult tooth to get out as Sid the dentist talked me through the process continuously, I like being told what’s happening and Sid did this, I did not take the dental nurse name assisting Sid, she was extremely friendly also explained what was happening, the total experience put me at ease, I just felt confident that they knew exactly what they were doing! 10/10! Mustn’t forget Gemma who assisted at the reception when I was making my payment, friendly, polite & very nice, just like all the staff!

Fantastic experience: Wow, the best dentist. I had an emergency extraction on my molar tooth today. Mr Ewart made me feel so at ease as did the nurse and I felt no discomfort at all during the procedure, and trust me it took a long time to remove. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with all my treatments here, I have been with the practice for 30+ years, and never had any reason to leave, always been seen when needed and regular 3 monthly appointments with the hygienist solved my gum problem out ..all round a great team .

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment today with Dr Gupta and although I was so nervous it was such a pleasant experience. I have been with another local dentist all my life and everytime I would walk in I would be left feeling uncomfortable as no one would acknowledge I was there, then I would be in with the dentist for a maximum of 5 minutes before being sent on my way. But it was totally different in this practice. The staff were extremely friendly and polite as soon as I walked in. Dr Gupta was so lovely, he was extremely thorough, spoke me through everything and asked my concerns. I could tell that my oral health actually mattered to him. I have never had such a thorough appointment anywhere else before. The dental nurse Gemma was also so pleasant and caring. I have left here feeling relieved that I have finally found people who actually do their job properly. I cannot thank you all enough

Fantastic experience: I love my new practice, from the atmosphere, the reception staff through to the dental staff. I was let let down greatly by my previous practice and my teeth were needing some care, during COVID my practice said I was no longer on their books when I called with an infection ( having a form of Leukemia it's important to treat infection etc). GCG kindly took me in and helped me when I was very distressed. I do have to travel but Yvie is worth every effort. I am reassured and do not have the anxiety I used have when visiting the Dentist. Thank you Yvie and the team ❤️

Fantastic experience: Excellent as always. It's a minor haul to this surgery from where I live, but it's worth the effort. The staff are always pleasant and professional. I usually get to see the same dentist, and when those little crises pop up, they always find a way to fit me in. I would not want to go anywhere else.

Whilst extremely modern they have the energy and feel of a place that cares about the local community and the wellbeing of patients as individuals not as numbers. I see Sidd and he is gentle, patient, kind and explains everything fully and I've had a deep clean there and it was amazingly thorough and professional. The dental hygienist was great. The ladies on reception are fantastic and so helpful too.

Negative experience: My son has lots problems with his teeth has been twice to Gcg dental surgery to receive private treatments, which he was very happy with and solved his problems at the time, afterwards they wanted him to see a dental hygienist which he was expected to pay privately for, he cannot afford private as I have helped him out in the past to pay for the urgent treatment as he is unemployed, and he was in agony, he refused to pay for the dental hygienist as it was expensive and they wanted him to pay further for extra treatments, which he could not afford either, so today he is in agony and needs treatment but Gcg dental surgery has refused him private treatment because he missed 2 appointments in 2022 how childish and pathetic he's in agony willing to pay them money privately but have refused him treatment because of 2 missed appointments last year, which he could not afford to do. This dentist is petty and childish refusing to help or see someone who is in agony and needs help I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Nothing is ever too much trouble and the receptionists always have time for you and treat you with the utmost respect. If there is an emergency, they will fit you in as soon as possible, usually on the same day if time allows. The dentists work professionally and thoroughly, always seeking to preserve teeth, and never looking for the easiest or quickest route forward. I have recommended this practice to so many of my family and friends, and will continue to do so. Thank you so much to all the team for making my experience a happy one....and for being committed to helping us all to have healthy teeth and gums.
