Having had a few bad experiences prior to joining the surgery a couple of years ago, I was quite apprehensive to try out a new dentist. But everyone from the front desk to Dr Akhil, the dentist and Hemita, the hygienist have been completely welcoming and have put me at ease. I now (almost) look forward to my check ups because I know that I will be well taken care of, as well as receive the highest quality treatments available. I have been incredibly happy with my crown, fillings and retainers and I know that whatever future treatments I will have, that they will be the very best.

The entire experience, from booking the appointment over the phone to arriving at the practice, was exceptional. Despite some confusion with Google Maps leading me to the wrong location, one of the receptionists went out of her way to come and guide me there. Negative experience: I can’t comprehend how this practice managed to get such good reviews. This is quite suspicious. This is probably the worst and dodgiest practice I have ever been to. After being misled by the number of good reviews, I decided to give it a go. Here are the problems I encountered: 1- The dentist conducted a check up and found imaginary issues that were proven to be wrong by two other dentists from 2 reputable practices. They find problems that don’t exist to make you pay more. 2-The receptionist tried to forced me to sign an agreement and payment of an hygiene treatment that I had already paid for. 3- The receptionist refused to give me a breakdown of the suggested treatment plan as normal practices would usually do. This goes back to point number 1. They make up problems that don’t exist and make sure they don’t provide explanation in writing so they are not held accountable by other professionals. 4-The reception staff refers customers to the website to get an idea of the fees but then asks for more even for standard routine check ups . If you care about your own health and not being ripped off, stay away.

Fantastic experience: Hello, my name is Susan. I attended the Dental Practice last Thursday for the first time. I had an appointment with the Dental Hygienist for a cleaning. A Descaling and Air Flow Polish cleaning. The name of the Hygienist was Hemita and the Nurse Armando. Well, they were both fantastic. Hemita got my teeth 100% clean. It was the best teeth and gum cleaning I have ever got. Not only that, but Hemita throughly explained about gum disease, how to maintain my oral hygiene at home,and advised me on the Dental brushes, and toothbrush that I should also be using. In addition to that she also gave me some free Dental brushes, which were the correct size for my teeth. Normally when I have the descaling with the electric descaler, I find it really terrible, because my teeth are really sensitive. But this time, I didn't feel any sensitivity at all. Because I was nervous, the Nurse Armando said I could hold his hand. Both Hemita and Armando, had a lovely reassuring manner, that made me feel relaxed and calm. Like I said they were both fantastic. The best Dental cleaning ever, both excellent and professionally. I will be going back every 3 months, it is money well spent. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Before I finish. I want to say that the Receptionist, her name was Ramona had a lovely manner as well. Extremely helpful and friendly. From my experience this is an excellent Dental Practice.

I started coming here and I've had 1 check-up, 4 fillings replaced, a trip to the hygienist and also purchased the at home teeth whitening set. I have had a great experience every time. Fantastic experience: I have visited other dental surgeries in the past , but coming to Dental Smiles was a whole new experience. A bunch of friendly staff, Dr Caleb I am stuck with for life, I never knew extracting 2 wisdom tooth could be so pain free and effortlessly extracted. Trust me this is my second time of having my wisdom tooth extracted, but this second experience with Dr Caleb was amazing. Fantastic experience: Highly highly recommend it. If you have ever thought about getting it done. Do it. I’m 6x weeks into my Invisalign journey and have just so much phrase for Smiles Dentist London (Pentonville Dental). The level of care and helpfulness is above and beyond. Victoria was so helpful in explaining the different Invisalign and various payment plan options (you can finance the cost or parts of the cost to meet your financial needs and so that this life changing thing doesn’t break the bank). Then my personal dentist Dr Akhil is the most wonderful person and professional and friendly dentist. The level of hygiene and care during covid times is also exceptional. I can not recommend Dr Akhil and Pentonville Dental enough. Only thing to note is that there is a lot of various appointments needed to set up Invisalign with x-rays and consultations etc so bear this in mind that you will need to keep these and have the time for these when doing Invisalign but if you can make the time it’s worth it.

The end to end service has always been fantastic. The reception staff / management always greet you warmly and are on hand to schedule appointments and go out of their way to keep you updated. During the pandemic, they all went above and beyond to make the practice covid safe and amended procedures to that effect too. My dentist was Frances. Frances is exceptional at making you feel both comfortable and informed.

The Dental smiles staff and practitioners where fantastic and quickley eased my worries with their friendly and reassuring approach. I went back today to have my teeth whitened and had the same professionalism from Caleb and his two staff members Shannon and Mirela who eased my fear once again . Fantastic experience: I booked an emergency appointment For within a hours time And they took me in without having to wait around I had to re cement one of my crowns back that had fallen off and the dentist i saw she was really good at her job I was in quite pain but the way she talked the issue I didn’t even need to numb the area of my mouth for additional pain Highly would recommend this dental clinic very helpful As this all happened in one day it was quite sore for me to give £145 just to re cement my tooth back on but overall all good
