Negative experience: Please avoid this dentist. They don’t clean your teeth properly. They will charge extra. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Pay somewhere .. I’ve been doing hygiene clean for years now and I’ve never had service like this.

Negative experience: I went for a hygiene clean and she said she will do polish and scale and charged me extra 45 pound in total about 124 pound. She literally scaled for 10 minutes and didn’t even do polishing and my teeth wasn’t even scaled properly. Literally 10 minutes into the session she was done. PLEASE SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The lady was nice but she charged me extra. Avoid it.

Positive experience: My son recently had his first dental cleaning with hygienist Jaya Mevin, and unfortunately, it was a negative experience. She was dismissive and rude throughout the appointment, making my already nervous son more uncomfortable. Her explanations were unclear, and she showed little patience with a first-time young patient or his mother. While the front desk staff were pleasant and helpful I cannot recommend Ms. Mevin and will be requesting a different hygienist for future appointments. Otherwise the practice is very good.

I had some dental trauma 25 years ago that I'd resigned myself to being unfixable as thats what my old dentist told me Dr Yasmin referred me to Guys & St Thomas's immediately and I have hope for the first time, having set up a plan with the hospital and the dentist. Today I saw the Dental Hygienist , Magda. Also perfection personified. Lovely treatment. She explained everything so I knew exactly what was happening. I came out feeling shiny! The reception staff are knowledgeable and kind . The pricing is clear. I have nothing but praise. NHS options are fully explained . I have no complaints. They are literally the best dentists I have ever been to

Fantastic experience: I would like to extend my thank you to Adriana. She was extremely professional, courteous, and thorough! I came in for getting my permanent retainers looked at, which was done in another country couple of years ago. It was breaking off from the ends, exposing the wire, making it next to impossible to eat. Adriana walked me through the process, replaced my permanent retainer with a new beefier one, took her time to get the new retainer attached as best as possible without interfering with my bite patterns, and all the while ensuring I am not strained in the process. While I expected my old fixed retainer to be ‘glue it back in place’ job, it was far from it, and she delivered! A new one certainly gives me much more confidence. I was also briefed of the next steps, and precautions. I now wish I would have come here earlier, and had my retainer done properly in the first place. 5 years of cautious biting could have been avoided! Will happily recommend Adriana. 10 on 10. The reception team is supportive, offering reminders and invoices via email and providing quick appointments. My dentist team offered clear assessments, guidance, and support in a welcoming atmosphere. However, the highlight of my appointment was my hygienist, Beata. Professional and friendly, she left me smiling with clean and healthy teeth in no time. I highly recommend this clinic for a seamless dental experience.

Fantastic experience: I’m very pleased with my experience in this clinic. I went for an emergency appointment and I was seen the same day by Dr Rita Sa. She explained clearly what the issue was and gave me a few options. I was quite nervous at the beginning due to previous unpleasant experiences in different practices, but she made me feel very comfortable as we start talking. She is professional, knowledgeable and with a good sense of humour. Im very grateful to dr Sa as she has finally sorted an ongoing issue with one of my molars and I’m also happy to have finally found a trustworthy dental clinic in London.

Negative experience: Waited quite a while to be seen despite having an appointment. The general service is very basic for the price of £69 no cleaning or polishing.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Nik here for a couple of years and can't recommend it highly enough. The service is excellent especially in the post treatment phase where they regularly check up on me to see how I'm progressing. I had a filling done recently which hurt like hell but they were able to schedule and see me on the same day to help alleviate the pain!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dentist for a couple of years and its the best dentist I've had. I've just come to the end of my Invisalign treatment and I'm really happy with the outcome. My dentist, (Dr Joshi) has been great the whole way through, explaining the different procedures needed each time they were needed. I love my new smile!

Fantastic experience: One of my teeth was injured, and I had an emergency appointment with Dr Mehta. After the initial treatment, there still exist some problems with this tooth that were not treated perfectly. The follow-up a few days later was complimentary and eventually solved my problem. It had been several months since then and I don't have any discomfort with that tooth, proving the quality of the treatment. I am impressed by the professionalism and the sense of responsibility, as well as Dr Mehta's kindness (she often tried chatting with me during the treatment to relieve my pain). Definitely would recommend the clinic to anyone who lives nearby!

Fantastic experience: Full disclosure - embarrassingly, it had been 15 years since I saw a dentist. As a result, I am meticulous with my teeth because of this length of time since seeing a dentist… but ‘dentist fear’ and not knowing of a ‘good dentist’ kept me away. This clinic was recommended to me by friends and colleagues. Dr Joshi and Beata the hygienist made my experience very comfortable and stress free. They explained what they were doing and made me feel at ease. I am pleased I had top grades at my check up and cleaning, and I’m looking forward to seeing them again next year. I’m so relieved to finally have a dentist!

Positive experience: It depends which doctor you're seeing. I had treatment from Dr Falguni Mehta previously and after having come back several times for her to fix the filling she messed up, she eventually drilled away so much from my tooth that I have been left with pain and sensitivity since. Dr Nikhil Joshi seems a lot more competent.

Fantastic experience: This is, by far, the best dental practice I have ever been in London. Everyone is super kind and always doing their best to make you feel as welcomed and supported as possible. The quality of treatment is excellent and doctors will do their absolute best to give the best possible advice for your dental health, even if this implies having treatment elsewhere (for different specialists for example) if that is the best course of action. They are far more interested in your well being rather than just getting a lot of patients in their practice. I want to thank all the team and I do recommend this centre 100%.

Positive experience: Anyone booking an appointment here needs to note that the clinic is part private/part NHS. Depending on what treatment you're having; you may need to end up paying private dental prices which are much more than the typical NHS charge bands.

They really know how to talk to you. To make understand what to do and give you the right options for your case. You do really feel in good hands. Which is something I didn't feel for years. A+ guys. Fantastic experience: I have seen Nik at least 10 times over the last six months and really can't recommend his services highly enough; these visits have included check-ups, Invisalign fittings, teeth whitening and some cosmetic composite fillings. Fantastic experience: Came to Old Street Dental Clinic for a root canal procedure. Was greeted nicely by the receptionist and taken through to the surgery room where my dentist did a fantastic job explaining what procedure she would be doing. Throughout the whole procedure I was comforted, checked up on and made to feel very safe and at ease. Upon complications (no fault of the dentist), my dentist explained everything that was wrong and suggested the options I had moving forward. Fantastic communication, lovely staff and top quality work. Could not recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for about 7 years, as it’s convenient for my office in the City. Have never once had a bad experience with this dentist practice. Dentists, hygienists, nurses and receptionists are all knowledgeable, patient and generally lovely and I have felt in safe hands through a couple of grissly tooth extractions, along with check-ups and minor procedures. On recent visits I have seen a dentist called Nikhil who was incredibly kind and gentle during a bottom wisdom tooth extraction, even though it took ages and prevented him from taking his lunch-break! They have been great during Covid. Very clean and limiting numbers of patients. I have never had issues getting appointments when I need them (admittedly, as a private patient) and have had a number of Saturday appointments. Would recommend this dentist without hesitation (and already have, to a number of my friends). Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I recently had two extractions and two fillings here and the dentist I had was brilliant Dr Nikhil Joshi was very reassuring, caring and asked frequently if I was Ok I would definitely recommend this surgery

Positive experience: The doctors at this clinic are really helpful and friendly and be assured that they will do everything that is needed for you to get the right treatment. In my case my treatment was transferred between doctors and there was some misunderstanding with the cost of the treatment, and even though this may not come from any wrongdoing, if anything I would recommend you always request a quote in writing before starting the treatment. The receptionists at the clinic although helpful, are a bit dry and serious, but aside from that you're in for a good treat.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has had a phobia of dentist for years now (after a root canal treatment that went awfully wrong), my faith in dentists was revived. Fal was great- she was gentle and patient. Clean and good work. She did not rush to complete the work and was attentionate. The dental nurse, Niketa, was equally patient and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. My filling and clran up was done with precision and i would highly recommend Old Street Dental Clinic to anyone.
