Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience, booking was extremely easy and they managed to fit me in quickly. Chloe (the dentist) was brilliant. She made sure I was comfortable and took the time to understand my dental history before doing a thorough exam including x rays and photos. She then took the time to talk me through everything in detail and in an understandable way. Everyone was very friendly and the practice had a nice atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I found this practice through reviews on Facebook. Being a nervous patient I have been putting off visiting the dentist for a long time. I was impressed with the quick appointment times and the fact they are open until 8pm, very handy if you work 9-5. To date I have had 3-4 appointments over the last 12 months and because of my reassuring and professional dentist (Gemma) I am no longer nervous. 5 stars

Fantastic experience: Well first time here. The appointment was for 14.30 . Got seen at 14.47. apart from that Georgia was amazing . Everything explained in a simple manner. Angel the assistant excellent too. No as expensive as other dentists in the area. Booked my next appointment.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The practice itself is beautifully decorated and feels more like a calming retreat than a typical dental clinic. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful & they go out of their way to make you feel at ease, which makes all the difference. I’ve been seeing Georgina for over a year now, and I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. She’s professional, gentle, and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. Having been to a few dentists over the years, I can confidently say I’m so glad I found Eilertsen. Fantastic experience: I always recommend Eilertsen Dental to friends and colleagues as the service they provide is just so good. I’m currently part way through a root canal treatment that is taking slightly longer due to my anatomy, and the dentist has kept me updated at every single point throughout, giving me clear information to keep me informed and also giving me options and alternatives should I choose. I feel so comfortable in the chair that I have fallen asleep a few times! I came to Eilertsen with a few different dental issues and was feeling really anxious and tearful about it, but every dental professional I have seen has been so, so kind and reassuring and I have never felt any sort of judgement from any of them. Since joining I have now registered my young children with them too, so that they can receive the same high level of care and education, and go on to have a good relationship with the care of their teeth.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible experience! For context I’m in my twenties and I don’t have a lot of money. I’ve used what I can to pay for a check up appointment. When I called to book an appointment the lady who helped me schedule my appointment said she would book it for 12pm today. I wrote it down in my calendar as we were on the phone, and double checked with her before I said goodbye. I had a really busy day the day of the appointment so we were very specific on the time. I took the bus and walked there and as I am 5 minutes away, I get a call that my appointment time was at 11:15 and it’s passed. Not to mention I will be charged £59. I was so upset, and the lady on the phone just kept trying to reschedule the appointment and collect another £59. I barely had enough money to schedule the first appointment and she couldn’t understand that. They weren’t nice at all on the phone and had little to no personal skills. It was a horrible experience, and I likely will have to save up again for another appointment at that time my cavity may progress into a root canal.

Fantastic experience: Having been deleted as an NHS patient by a dental practice in Plymouth after 40 odd years I found myself in urgent need of dental care and was offered an appointment with Eilertsen at Derriford within 24 hours. Attended today and have nothing but praise for all concerned from reception to dental staff. A temporary filling was offered but declined as a permanent filling can be carried out on Friday 2 May. Excellent service. Not cheap and those on the NHS system should thank their lucky stars. Until the Government reward dentists appropriately private provision will remain the norm for many. Fantastic experience: Always a relaxed and pleasant experience… well, as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be! I’m not a huge fan of going (let’s be honest, who is?), but Georgie is brilliant. She takes the time to explain everything before doing anything. I had some not-so-great experiences with childhood dentists, where they’d just start poking around or start wielding intimidating looking tools with no warning or explanation of what was about to happen! Georgie though, talks you through every step of a check-up/clean — what she’s doing, what it might feel like — so there are no surprises. She’s very and regularly reminds you to raise your hand if you need a break, which makes you feel much more in control. The result being, I can sit through an appointment without needing to stop her at all, whereas with previous dentists, I’d be jumping around and calling for breaks what felt like every few seconds! If you’re nervous about going to the dentist, I’d definitely recommend Georgie.

Following a check up today I needed a tooth extraction and as with most patients I was very nervous. Lucy and then Liz were both so reassuring. Fantastic experience: This dentist surgery has restored my trust in compassionate dentistry, they have helped me with some painful and stressful treatments and a plan going forward for my best dental health. Really encouraging people and really good with the children too, whole family has signed up and can't tell enough people about how great they are. They are clearly well educated about a variety of not only dental but other medical areas as they knew about and understood my genetic disorder, and the implications that has for dentistry, really put me at ease every appointment and clearly have the patients comfort and health in the forefront of their mind whilst treating.
