Negative experience: I went there with a paid emergency request and spoke to the senior receptionist. She had no smile, gave very little information, and spoke like a robot. All she kept saying was that I needed to call at 8:30 for an appointment, and when I asked if it was possible to get one today, the answer was simply “No.” The way she talked was not at all suitable for someone working as a receptionist -- especially when people come in with urgent needs. Very disappointing service.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely thank the heavens above for getting taken on at this dentist !! The staff have been so kind , professional and empathetic to my needs as a patient with years of bad experiences with other dentists .Im so very grateful to Melody and her nurse ( can’t remember her name sorry ) but they’ve been amazing . Fantastic experience: Having a dental emergency while on holiday could have been an absolute nightmare, but they were able to fit me in on really short notice and sorted things out amazingly quickly with the absolute minimum of fuss. The staff were all brilliant; everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful, caring and happy to explain the process. I honestly can't think of any way they could have improved the experience.

Positive experience: Dental staff were fantastic, quick and efficient however I didn't appreciate the rudeness from the receptionist upon calling for an appointment. This made me feel quite anxious even more so when it came to attending the appointment. I feel their telephone manner could be better. Many thanks to those who were professional and helpful.

They took me in on the same day and carried out the necessary work to resolve the issue. Fantastic experience: Had an appointment today with dentist Kareem Mousa. As someone who doesn’t enjoy dental work I wasn’t looking forward to it. However, Mr. Mousa was willing to listen, easy to talk to, understanding, very professional and a first rate dentist. I have been a patient for 50 years at this practice and seen numerous dentists but I only hope Mr. Mousa stays at this dental surgery.

Fantastic experience: Emergency NHS appointment as my own private dentist was unable to see me for a month (broken tooth/extreme pain & swelling) antibiotics prescribed and tooth extracted a week later. Amazing staff on reception, friendly, helpful, professional Dentist Clare was the best I’ve ever seen. I mentioned I was nervous this was clearly taken into account. Sharp pain on 1st attempt, more numbing administered straight away, then easily extracted my broken tooth with no pain at all. Clear advice on aftercare given. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Fantastic experience: I am one of the many who have an irrational fear of dentists. I usually have conscious sedation for extractions, but due to circumstances, I went today for an extraction without that. I was only willing to try because of Dr Khayyat and his amazing dental nurse. Unfortunately I was so nervous, I don't remember her name. I have only seen my new dentist twice before this, but he is so kind and understanding that I was willing to try. I can't speak high enough of these two amazing people, kind caring, understanding and supportive. I can't think of any superlatives that match the care, kindness and genuine care that I experienced today! I'd just like to thank both of you so very much.

Fantastic experience: The receptionists were not the ones I usually see, but they were friendly and helpful. Guisli, my dentist, was brilliant, as usual -very appreciative of the fact I am very nervous at the dentists, and was reassuring and put me at my ease. A fantastic all-round service - so lucky to be a patient at this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kareem Atef Ahmed Mousa is by far the best dentist I have used. He really listened to what I said and actually cared. When he administered the anesthetic it was so good to not go through the pain it usually causes whilst waiting for it to kick in. He kept me in informed of what he was doing and just all round was a great dentist rather than some of the others where clearly your just another patient.

Negative experience: teach the lady who answers the phone calls some manners. I don't even want to go there anymore after her speech. After my «hi l'd like to book a consultation for braces" I get the question "are you registered patient?" which is a normal question, I said I don't think so, because I clearly didn't know that I have to be, I get. the answer "how do you want me to book you in then?" ', like, I don't know, isn't it your job to let me know KINDLY that I need to be registered first? if I was talking to people like that I would be fired immediately.

Fantastic experience: We struggled finding a dentist for our family since COVID. We managed to get registered at John Plummer and we took our 4 kids for their first appointment in over 4 years. The reception staff were amazing and organised all of the kids to have back to back appointments. The dental team were welcoming and really put the kids at ease. Fantastic experience: Attended for annual check up, counter staff were their normal friendly selves. I was then met and taken to surgery by the dental assistant to have my check up by Mr Robertson. I was asked a few questions while having the examination and then told he could see no problems. He then and gave my teeth a clean as they were stained and hadn’t been given a professional clean for a couple of years . I found the experience easy, painless and satisfying.

Fantastic experience: I phoned for a appointment at my registered practice to get told again there were no emergency appointments, I had been trying to get in for two weeks, so they told me to contact another of their practices, which I did, I called the Gt Yarmouth practice and got a very nice receptionist who said there were no appointments either but she took my name and number, 5 mins later she called me back and said they would see me, I can't explain how overjoyed I was as I was in so much pain, the dentist I saw was amazing. Thank you to the very lovely receptionist.

Fantastic experience: My first time with this dental practice. Super friendly and informative reception team, that made me feel very welcome from the first moment. My appointment was with Dentist Saif Khayyat, I am always nervous however he put me at ease straight away, very calm and friendly as was the nurse working alongside him. He explained everything that was going on, and explained all my options going forward to replace a broken implant. I came away feeling reassured and all my irrational fears had subsided. Over all a great experience with a professional team. Highly recommend, especially if you are one of the nervous types like me.

Fantastic experience: Saw the childrens new dentist today (last one left). She was amazing. She had so much patience with both my children. There was no rush, she listened to what they said , she brought both out of their shells. Both are on the spectrum and this was the first appointment we came out of and headed home, with no tears and no anxiety. Fantastic experience: Yesterday I broke half of my front tooth off eating a cheese and pickle sandwich, of all the luck. In a panic I phoned my local JGP for an emergency appointment without success. They advised to contact all of the JGP’s in the area the next morning. Upon ringing, most of the practices seemed to change tone when I said I wasn’t registered with them and unsurprisingly, there were no emergency appointments available on the day. Lynn @ GY however, offered to put me on a waiting list for any cancellations. I must admit, I didn’t hold much hope. Within a couple of hours Lynn called me back and offered me a same day appointment, fab. When visiting, both Lynn and Donna on reception were great and really seemed to enjoy their roles. It was obvious. Great treatment to repair my tooth, in and out in no time and looking better than it did before it was broken. Sterling service! Thank you.

I didn’t go during covid because of safety and now people like me have to struggle in agony or pay stupid prices to be seen. Honestly, I’m fed up with the lack of disrespect the receptionists have for people and they need to find a new job… one preferably where they don’t speak to people.

Because I had not used service in 3 years. I had though at the end of covid. An emergency. Apparently that doesn't count ! No one told me. Real reason is I'm not private! . I'm disabled and don't pay !! Wow ! Disgusting! Unsympathetic industry . All about the money !

Negative experience: Appalling service. After being referred to the dentist by my mental health nurse a plan was put In place for my treatment. After changing my mind from having a denture to implants I was looked up and down by the dentist ( I had work clothes on) and asked if I thought I was in a financial position to afford Implants. Then I was spoken to rudely and abruptly with a angry attitude. I asked the dentist to back off as he was sending my anxiety through the roof. He then proceeded to take off his gloves slam draws and said I’d been wasting his time! I left the dentist in tears and with very high levels of anxiety. Don’t judge someone by the way they look and treat everyone with respect
