Fantastic experience: Absolutely First Class. After many years of mediocre reactive care elsewhere I found myself needing a full reassessment and range of treatment to bring my dental heath back to where it should be. The entrance and waiting room have a very warm, homely, family feel and the reception team are incredibly friendly and helpful. The initial appointment was undertaken with a level of care and attention to detail that I cannot remember receiving from another healthcare professional in my life. The follow up dental work which involved replacing some silver fillings is an unbelievable transformation and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank You!

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I joined Shrubbery Dental Practise. I have completely overcome my ' fear of dentists ' after years of not wanting to visit one in fear of repeated bad experiences. They are all so welcoming, kind and make you feel completely relaxed. I recently braved a cap renewal but it was actually a really positive experience and the results were fabulous. Dr Ish is a patience, knowledgeable and gentle dentist who I would recommend 100%. They are an outstanding practise with excellent service and customer care and I am very grateful to them for their kindness and support.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I've chosen to join Shrubbery Dental Practice. I was a little nervous and embarrassed having not been to the dentist for quite a long time, but Shivani and Hollie took really good care of me. They are so friendly and easy to talk to, there was no judgement and the treatment options were explained fully with no pressure. Kate and Claire on the front desk were wonderful too and made the joining process super easy. Despite needing work on a tooth on my next visit, I'm actually looking forward to going back in!

Negative experience: Would give it 5 starts because the dentist there did great job checking my teeth BUT when I asked for my xray pictures (getting them fast is critical for me) I was told "manager is on holiday so you need to wait". Amazing, right? The other dentist is waiting for my xray results to book me in but now I have to delay because only manager at Shrubbery can send e-mail with pictures... What a joke. When I was paying for the consultation nobody told me that sending e-mail is such a problem...

Fantastic experience: I doubt anyone finds going to the dentist a pleasure, but Shrubbery DP comes mightily close to making it so. The practice is professional, friendly and welcoming, making me feel valued as a person, not just a customer. My dentist is Dr. Ish and he's great. Of course he's a good practitioner, but he also has great 'soft skills' with an excellent 'chair side' manner that puts you at ease. From the initial assessment of work required through to having the actual treatment, Dr. Ish explains things clearly, including the costs, so that you are able to decide what you want to include in your treatment plan. There's no hard sell. My recommended treatments were very much as I'd expected - four fillings and two extractions required, all of which were carried out completely pain free, which I was amazed by, but that's down to the skill of Dr. Ish and the care he takes.

Fantastic experience: This review is dedicated to my dentist Lucy who performed some amazing magic and gave me back my smile. When I first consulted with Lucy, I had lost my 35-yr old bridge, which left a side gap and my front teeth had been pushed forward causing crooked and gapped front teeth, meaning I did not smile often. Lucy approached the restorative work gradually, first replacing my bridge, then designed and fitted caps to go on crooked stumps but look straight. My smile is amazing and I cannot believe how much of my self-confidence has been restored. Thank you, Lucy for having such creative vision and precision execution. Fantastic experience: If you are reading these reviews to help decide if Shrubbery Dental Practice is for you, then please consider your search complete! I cannot recommend this practice enough. After having some awful experiences in the past with my teeth, I was a very nervous and anxious patient. I was terrified of anything happening with my teeth but I knew I needed help. Dentist Ish has been a absolute hero helping me relax and feel comfortable during appointments. I cannot believe that I managed to get to the point where I was able to have two extractions done with him in one visit without a panic attack which happened many times before. This is all because of this brilliant practice and their fantastic staff. I honestly cannot recommend them enough if you are a nervous patient like I once was. The fact I can say that I no longer have the huge level of dentist anxiety that I did is a miracle, I never thought this would happen - thank you so much for looking after me so well Shrubbery!

Negative experience: Can’t fault the service, Friendly and proffessional staff. However I cancelled over a year ago as I moved away. I stopped receiving all emails for appointment reminders but I was still being charged. I contacted them and after several phone calls and emails they were unable to offer any refund despite me not using the service and the fact I stopped receiving emails… if I had continued to receive emails I would’ve realised a lot sooner

Fantastic experience: I’m getting married in November, and last summer I spent some time researching different dentists on Google as I was interested in Invisalign and Composite Bonding. I came across Shrubbery Dental Practice and I’m so pleased I decided to go with them, it’s been a really smooth and positive experience from the start to finish. Dr Ish is very reassuring, calm and helpful and has helped me have the smile I’ve always wanted. I’ve had regular check ups throughout my treatment and there’s a really friendly atmosphere across the whole practice. I am under the care of Dr Ishi who is amazing, really patient always taking his time to explain everything fully ensuring complete confidence in him and his team. Fantastic experience: I transferred to Shrubbery Dental Practice some years ago after becoming unhappy with the service I was receiving at my local NHS dentist and I am so glad that I made the switch as I couldn’t be happier with the service I receive now. I have complete trust in Dr Ish, and all the staff there are just so friendly. The hygienist is unbelievably gentle as well, and really takes time over your teeth for a thorough clean, but also makes sure you’re comfortable too. I went through Invisalign treatment with Dr Ish not long ago and the treatment I received was brilliant. Ish was thorough and attentive throughout the whole process. My sister is currently going through Invisalign treatment (following my rave reviews) at her local practice, but unfortunately isn’t receiving the same level of treatment that I received at Shrubbery. She has progress check-up’s every 3 months rather than monthly as I did, and has so many unanswered questions that just wasn’t the case with me. I am so happy with the results. I smile more freely, and am no longer self conscious of my teeth on Zoom calls, or in photos. Even after almost a year on with my new smile, I get surprised that I love what I see now - it’s made such a difference. I genuinely can’t recommend Shrubbery Dental Practice more highly!

Negative experience: Good when you can get an appointment but you'll be waiting months.

Fantastic experience: I have recently returned to Shrubbery Dental practice and have undergone some rather extensive dental work with Dr. Ish and the wider team at the Practice and I wanted to share my experience. Having discussed various tailored treatment plans with me back in August 2024, I have undergone 4 months of appointments which included cosmetic dental treatments as well as a teeth whitening course. from my initial consultation stage to completion their continued support and encouragement have been excellent when delivering patient care. With regular feedback at every stage during my appointments, the staff regularly highlighted what steps were to be undertaken and what future work would be required to achieve a better smile. During these visits, my anxiety was lowered, and my confidence was raised significantly, which was once lacking. I cannot thank the team enough for taking my fear of dentistry and instilling trust in me, which has made the whole process comfortable. I would like to take this opportunity to say “Thank you so very much” to all at the practice, and now I can look forward to a new chapter in my life with a smile and lots more self-confidence. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Shrubbery Dental Practice for more than 30 years and the team are always friendly and professional. I recently experienced sharp shooting pains in my left jaw and cheek which Dr Lucy diagnosed and referred me to a maxillofacial surgeon for treatment.The condition is not common and is extremely painful. Dr Lucy’s prompt diagnosis and advice reassured me and resulted in early treatment. Dr Lucy and the team provided an excellent professional service.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the practice for just over a year. I see Jamie regularly for my hygienist appointments & I started off as an intensely nervous patient. Jamie is kind, patient and always makes me feel at ease when attending and he has taught me a lot about looking after my teeth & overall dental care. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Shrubbery Dental Practice for very many years. My current dentist is Dr Ish, he always puts me at ease with his welcoming smile. All of the dental nurses are very caring and understanding too. I recently had new acrylic dentures made which are very comfortable and appointments for small adjustments are usually available without delay. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I am a very anxious patient and having left it several years since my last dentist appt I was expecting the worst, but honestly I was so reassured by all the staff. From the welcoming receptionists to the dentist and trainee dental nurse. I saw Jack the dentist and he took the time to really thoroughly check my teeth and mouth health, took x-rays and pictures and explained everything really patiently and kindly as he knew I was nervous. Both he and the trainee dental nurse (I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name!) were chatting to me and joking with me to take my mind off being anxious and it was lovely. So different to any dentist appt I've had previously elsewhere. I would thoroughly recommend, especially if you're a nervous patient like me!

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined the practice with my two children and I have to say, one of the best services I have been to! Lucy is professional and extremely talented in her field. Fantastic experience: I have just had my first appointment with Dr Ish, having retied and moved away from a dentist who treated me for over 30 years, Dr Ish identified two deficiencies with my teeth , a gap and exposed gum. Fantastic experience: I would like to say a massive thankyou to DR Ish, Abbey, Steph and all at Shrubbery Dental Practice. You have literally changed my life! It’s been 20 years plus since I’ve seen a dentist as I have had a particularly horrible phobia since I was a young adult. So much so it stopped me from going to see a dentist. It’s something I didn’t want my kids to follow on with so built up the courage to make a call to Katie who has guided me and hand held me through every step of the way! The team made sure I was not kept waiting on arrival, ensured I had the same team every time I visited and that I was in the same room so I could have continuity . My first visit was the biggest challenge for me as that was the first time I had stepped in a dental practice in 23 years, Claire’s big smile on reception was very much appreciated as i opened the door and Katie was there to greet me, every one made sure everything was explained before each step and ensured me this is how every visit would go! Steph held my hand through most visits and continually checked in on me, she even made sure she was the nurse on duty for when I saw Abbey too! For reference I’m 6 ft and of big build and even I needed a hand held! It brings me close to tears just writing this as they will never understand what they have done for me! My treatment is complete thanks to Abbey and Ish and I’m set for 6 months! I can’t believe I’m going to say this, I’m already looking forward to seeing them all, can’t wait to hear about Claire’s holiday! They all feel like new friends. Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to come to the practice. Fillings are painless and the team are always very accommodating of a busy schedule that means I often have to reschedule. Fantastic experience: I recently had my teeth sorted by Abbey. She is the perfect professional; caring, thorough and gentle. It has been a long time since my gnashers have been done, and could have easily been a sensitive and traumatic experience. But it was comfortable, relaxing and completed efficiently.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal surgery done by Jack Kitson. I couldn't get better treatment than that! I had no pain during the whole procedure and afterwards I had no need for painkillers. Jack is very skilled and sensitive dentist. He will not do anything unneccessary, he gives you the best advice. I highly recommend him. The surgery has a calming atmosfere and the staff are kind and smiley .

Fantastic experience: I was a patient of Sally-Anne Clarke for many years, she always put me at ease and carried out any dental work with kindness, care and professionalism, a fabulous dentist. When she advised that she was retiring from clinical practice I was delighted for her, but concerned as I wondered if anyone would be able to take her place and treat me in the same way. Dr Ishmir Uppal is that dentist, he is professional, kind and very informative. His first 'job' was a very big filling which he carried out with care and kindness the second 'job' four cosmetic fillings which took 2 hours. Dr Ishmir and Hayley his Nurse in attendance were brilliant, it was a long appointment but very successful and I'm delighted with the outcome. I can highly recommend Dr Ishmir and Hayley. I'd also like to mention Clare and Kate on reception who are always willing to help and offer a welcome smile, and Abbey the dental hygiene therapist who is always kind, careful and helpful. A fabulous family run dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Recently had an extraction, and a number of small fillings carried out. All treatment was discussed beforehand, and explained as we went along. Everything, from booking appointments to paying the bill, via examinations, hygienist and the actual dental work was carried out in a friendly, and professional manner. The staff all aim to put you at ease - I would recommend Shrubbery Dental Practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant through and through. I have been with the Shrubbery since Feb/March 2020 and my care has always been exemplary. I am under a monthly plan whereby I have 2 x dental checks and 2 x hygiene visits per year included. My dental checks have been with Mahul and Dr Rish - they have always been very helpful and informative when I've seen them. I have always had my hygiene visits with Jamie & Holly - they are the best team. I am immediately put at ease and there's always laughter during the appointments. Jamie has really helped with the care of my teeth - he always explains everything he is going to do and gives a recap at the end. I never leave without advice / suggestions to help with any issues I need help with. I would highly recommend the practice- every member of staff is welcoming, warm and friendly; nothing is ever too much of an ask. I would also recommend the monthly plans - investing in myself and my teeth was the best thing I ever did. Thank you

My first experience with Dr. Ish recently, again for some significant work was probably one of the gentlest painless visits I’ve ever had. Lucy Foley is very professional and business like. She was reassuring, positive and outlined several options for the treatment I needed following an issue with an old filling. Fantastic experience: I'm actually Karen McConnell and Anam has provided me with the best dental treatment ever. I have always hated my teeth and was really self concious about them but Anam has altered them with composite bonding and now they look amazing! I can't stop smiling! Anam is very professional and a real perfectionist making sure that the finish on my teeth is perfect. I am so grateful to her and can't recommend her highly enough. If you hate your teeth, ask her to fix them for you; you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: After doing some research on local dentists in my area I decided to book an appointment at Shrubbery. As a nervous patient I read all the reviews and decided to be brave and get myself booked in, well I was most definitely not disappointed. I was greeted by two lovely receptionists - Claire and Kate who both instantly put me at ease. Dentist was just so calming and the nurse was so kind. Fantastic experience: My first time at the practice today and really happy with the experience from start to finish. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome. I Usually suffer with nerves and anxiety about the dentist but after visiting the practice today I can safely say my fear is a thing of the past. Anyone looking for a excellent practice that may be a nervous patient look no further! Looking forward to my next appointment :)

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Dr Ish last week and I must say he was fantastic. I’m not usually a massive fan of going to the dentist but Dr Ish made me feel very much at ease throughout my time in the surgery, and we had some good football banter afterwards!! I would definitely recommend Shrubbery to anyone looking for a friendly and welcoming dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I joined Shrubbery Dental Practice after having been with my previous dentist for over 25 years. I had become very self-conscious of how my teeth looked (although my nearest and dearest couldn't seem to see the issue) and it was affecting how I smiled on photos, and my overall confidence. Skip forward 12 weeks and what a difference. Dr Ish, Hayley and the Shrubbery team have been nothing short of amazing. They listened, but most importantly understood my concerns and gave me a brand new smile using all the latest tech. Thank you........I only wish I had made the decision to move to the practice sooner!

Fantastic experience: After years of feeling self conscious and not wanting to smile especially for photographs due to overcrowding with my teeth Anam has completely transformed my smile. Really good consultation and plan to whiten and straighten my teeth with upper composite veneers. The results was amazing and have completely changed the way I feel about my smile . Fantastic experience: A fantastic dental surgery where all the staff are so incredibly kind and patient. I took my elderly parents there when they moved to Worcester to live. Nothing was too much trouble, using the downstairs surgery so they wouldn't have to use the stairs. I cannot rate them highly enough, they make what could be a stressful experience a pleasure. The atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly, a very professional environment. Thank you to all the staff.

Fantastic experience: EDIT: After my existing dentist moved on from the practice I got an appointment with Dr Ish. He was really welcoming, explained everything, and put me completely at ease. Hayley was still a lovely and familiar face to see assisting Dr Ish. Still an amazing team at Shrubbery - made a once dentist hating girl actually not bat an eyelid at going to the dentist!! Can’t recommend the whole team enough! I can't fault Shrubbery Dental Practice. Throughout my life I've had a fear of the dentist but the Shrubbery team completely changed that with their warm caring attitude and experience. They are always at the end of the phone to offer advice and provide top quality care. Hayley & Mehul make a great dream team and I couldn't be happier with the work they have done for me (both general dental procedures and Invisalign). All the team as a whole make you feel right and home and really welcomed every time. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I recently had an emergency appointment with Jack Kitson, my first meeting with him, as soon as I walked into the treatment room he made feel at ease , he explained what my options were, we both knew it was going to an extraction . He proceeded to explain the procedure in a calm and professional manner, he even let me choose what music was to be played whilst he did the deed , both he and Lucy who was so lovely, keeping me calm and reassuring me throughout my procedure, can’t praise them enough, Highly recommended Thank you both . Fantastic experience: Broke my front crown and received excellent treatment from Ishmir!! Fashioned a couple of temporary crowns and used state of the art technology to produce new crown! Explained everything step by step and checked throughout on my well being and comfort. Everything went to plan and on time. Brilliant service and fully recommend! Most importantly the end product is great and fully satisfied! (Also had a couple of fillings which again top notch service)

Fantastic experience: Following over 20 years of avoiding dental treatment through fear I finally took the plunge. All the staff at Shrubbery Dental Practice were really welcoming, friendly and professional. My treatment involved a number of visits to the Hygienist, Abbey, sorting out my gums and stained teeth. I can now smile with confidence. Thank you. Anam and the dental nurses (Sorry I can’t remember their names) dealt with a filling, a crown and an extraction. All procedures were fully explained beforehand and during treatment. Throughout there were checks to ensure I was pain free and in no discomfort. I don’t think Anam believed me when after I said I felt so relax I nearly feel asleep :-) My experience has truly changed my outlook and I can’t recommend Shrubbery Dental Practice highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to shrubbery dental practise. Ishmir Singh Uppal really helped me conquer my fear of dentists. I have had my check up, I have been to the lovely hygienist, and had two fillings. It may not sound like a big deal, but to me it was. Ish talked me through what he was going to do, helped me understand, just how my mouth and I would feel, as the injection began to work. Explained how things would feel after the treatment. Slowly reassuring me, but making me feel calm, normal and not stupid for being such a baby about it all. Having confidence in the person who cares about looking after you as a patient is all you can ask for. It takes a certain person to be able to do this. So thank you Ish , thank you to the nurses , thank you to most important reception team and to Katie, for helping me open the door.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Shrubbery Dental Practice for over 20 years and have always enjoyed their excellent care and treatment. In March I had a crown replaced by Dr Anam and Dental Nurse Lucy - they were both excellent! Not only was the procedure painless and perfect, but the way they work together made for excellent dental care and (dare I say) an enjoyable experience! This week I saw Hygienist Jamie and Holly and again enjoyed excellent care. They are particularly gentle in the mouth and again their interaction with each other is calming and enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend all of them, or this practice and as always the reception staff Claire & Kate move mountains to get my appointments together. Always excellent!

Fantastic experience: As a new patient to private practice I have been reassured and well looked after by everyone. I had a filling last week, very apprehensive but Anam and the lovely dental nurse were so kind and caring, totally felt they were on my side and talked me through everything. I am very impressed with end result, no silver filling but a white filling looking like a natural tooth. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I visited Shrubbery Dental last week as an emergency appointment as I woke up in agony with an impacted wisdom tooth. Claire the receptionist was so wonderful and kind ensuring I got to see a dentist that day. I want to say a huge thank you to Mehul! I was so nervous and in a lot of pain and he was so understanding and gentle it really felt like he couldn’t do enough to help! I asked a million questions and at no point felt silly and each one was answered in detail. I left the practice will all the advice and medication I needed and felt so relieved! I spoke to Claire the next day and once again she was so kind and helpful! A huge, huge thank you to both Claire and Mehul you are fantastic and I’m very grateful!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the practice for many years and they have always been a friendly and professional practise, I have not had a filling for many years but last Friday I had to have one so was very very nervous I was quickly reassured by both ismir & his dental nurse hayley all the way through the treatment, their concern was that I was comfortable & relaxed with everything that was being done, I would certainly recommend this practice

Fantastic experience: I went to Shrubbery based on their reviews, as I wanted to find a friendly and understanding surgery because like a lot of reviewers have said, It can be quite nerve-wracking if it's been some time since your last visit to a dentist. I finally did book an appointment and on both visits Shrubbery's people have been friendly and made me feel welcome as a patient, and just having a dentist after so long gives great peace of mind.
