Crabbs Cross Dental Surgery

Fantastic experience: Can't rate this dental practice enough. After a lifetime of dreading and avoiding dental appointments, Lesley and the team have set my anxiety at ease whilst delivering excellent treatment (Lesley's great sense of humour is a huge help!!) Would highly recommend to anyone who struggles with dental anxiety.

Negative experience: Since Lesley went private! Down hill from there. I have had cancer and had to cancel an appointment and was given what I would say a slap in the face! My daughter had appointments which they cancelled then kicked us both out from the nhs!! Disgusting and I took my kids there from childhood!! Let down and the dentist was so rude to me while having chemo and my mouth full of ulcers!!!!

Fantastic experience: Im a very nervous patient & went to to this dentist for treatment while staying with my daughter in Redditch. They were so kind & understanding, in fact the best dentist i have ever had in my 64 yrs. Mr Saqib Dodhy was very patient & kind. I will be coming up from Cornwall again in Sept to see him. I Also need to mention Ursula the receptionist was so helpful & kind when i called in to make an appointment & also the dental nurse who was their when having my treatment...a lovely lady. Negative experience: I called NHS 111 with a dental emergency and was told to phone Crabbs Cross Dental Practice, as they would accept an NHS patient in an emergency, when the subject of the practice not accepting NHS patients was mentioned 111, they advised me that if the practice were not to accept me as an emergency patient, I should ask them to call 111 to let them know this is not something they offer, so they aren't giving out false information. Upon doing this, the dentist office became very rude and abrupt, stating 111 can't force them to accept anyone and that I would be lucky to even speak to any dentist in the area today, never mind see one, given that today is the first day after a bank holiday weekend and their existing private patients are far more important than an NHS emergency. They then added that its not their responsibility to contact and inform 111 about their policies, as 111 have access to the internet and can find out for themselves. The dentist office was very obnoxious and condescending, and their behaviour towards me was disgusting. Their tone alone suggested they were attempting to humiliate and belittle me for not being able to afford their "private" service.

Fantastic experience: To be perfectly honest, as I have an inherent dread and fear of all dentists regardless of where they are (not so much for what they do but what they may find routing around) and I was immediately put at ease by their friendly staff and clinical expertise, I was extremely impressed, as my situation was an emergency, they were expeditious in their work and at the same time comforting and reassuring, you couldn’t ask for better, I certainly couldn’t

Negative experience: I phoned at approximately 11:30 to schedule an appointment, and they advised me to come in anytime after 2:00 pm today. However, upon my visit at 2:15 pm, I was informed that no appointments were available for the day. It would have been appreciated if this information had been conveyed earlier during the call. So I just travelled to book the appointment which could have been done over a phone but couldn't due to the miscommunication by the staff. If you have to travel and spend time for it I think it needs to noted .

Fantastic experience: Really nice clean dentist surgery. They managed to help me restore a implant that fell out at short notice. Also took an x-ray of my teeth and gave great advice. I am really pleased with the treatment I had. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend this dental practice. I had to have two large teeth removed and Ive never been a fan of dentists at the best of times. But Lesley (dentist) and Alison (nurse) made me feel at ease and got me through it. Then Ive recently had some cosmetic work done which is absolutely amazing!!! (Also by Lesley) My dislike of going to the dentist has now changed!

Fantastic experience: It would be even more stars if possible! I suffered a severe facial injury in May damaging my 2 front teeth down to the nerve. Saqib was able to see me the very next morning and advise of the treatment. After a successful Root Canal I saw Lesley who completed the Porcelain Crown offering me the very best of service and support. From start to finish the entire team at Crabbs Cross Dental Surgery looked after me with the highest of consideration, ensuring the end result was the best available. I would not recommend knocking out 2 teeth however for any and all dental care I would certainly recommend the fantastic team at Crabbs Cross. Fantastic experience: Have been a patient of this practice for over 20 years. Very happy with the service. Recently had the misfortune to break 3 front teeth. Saqib was excellent, seeing me that afternoon, doing some initial work and planning and arranging necessary further treatment. By the end of the week, I had had 2 teeth repaired by Lesley Robertson and 7 days after the accident I had a denture for the remaining tooth. Always polite, gentle and efficient and in my latest visit very impressed with the speed of getting me back to looking reasonable. Implant next.

Fantastic experience: As a new and nervous patient, I can highly recommend this practice. Saqib Dodhy has a very calm manner and is very thorough in his examination and his explanations/advice. I have had two fillings and an extraction and I can honestly say it was totally pain free and done very efficiently. I find all the staff helpful and friendly too which I think is really important as first point of contact. And, as a private patient, I find the fees very competitive. All in all, I’m happy to recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my family (including two young children) saw Saqib Dodhy for a general check up and had a really positive experience. He was very friendly and professional which put us at ease and explained everything really well so we felt fully informed. The surgery was very clean and all the staff were lovely. We will continue to use crabbs cross dental surgery even though we have moved away from the area due to the exceptional patient care we receive which I have stuggled to find at other dental surgeries in my local area.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than five stars I would. Visiting the dentist has always been a negative experience but today all that changed. The Staff and Dentist were amazing. Within 20 minutes I had my bothersome tooth extracted and had my face not been numb I would have left with a smile...which I did on the inside. Definitely the best and will go again if I have to. Professional, friendly and made me feel completely at ease. They were all very informative with what they were doing and why - for each step of my treatment plan. Lesley was so honest and her attention to detail is like no other, in order for me to get the results that I wanted. I couldn’t be happier with the way my teeth have turned out! Each visit was like visiting a friend because they were all that friendly and welcoming. I just wish that I went to them sooner. I will definitely be coming back for all of my dental needs and will recommend to all my friends and family! One of my friends has actually already booked in, the same day that i had my treatment completed and once she had seen my results! Again, I can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I booked a private consultation with Mr. Dodhy for a second opinion and some advice regarding an ongoing problem. I felt he listened to my concerns and conducted a thorough examination. He also explained exactly how he came to his diagnosis to give me a better understanding of my situation. Following the appointment, I also requested a copy of my x-rays which were sent to me straight away. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to book in with him again.

Fantastic experience: I had a partial filling fall out at the beginning of lockdown and over the weeks the situation was getting worse. My NHS dentist could not help , so I decided to visit Crabbs Cross dental surgery for private dental care. Mr Dodhy was excellent and I was able to have a filling done without a further delay. He explained everything that needed to be done and gave me all the information I needed. I was very impressed with the covid secure environment and was delighted with the professionalism of the staff. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I visited the Crabbs Cross surgery to have two broken lockdown teeth repaired. im always nervous, but visiting in Covid times really freaked me out. Everyone at the surgery was kind and put me completely at ease. Teeth all sorted! I can't recommend them highly enough - especially if you are a nervous patient like me!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Crabbs Cross dental surgery since the 1980's and have always had the very best dental treatment throughout all this time by both dentists who have treated me over this period of time. I recently had one of my front side tooth break off. I had a root extraction and the tooth replaced in one day, the result was excellent. Thank you for treating me so quickly and effectively Mr Dodhy.

Negative experience: How on earth you've been given 5stars? The dentist I've spoke to this morning asking for £200 just to pull a tooth out, I've already done it at Birmingham dental hospital and they pulled 2out for nothing, free, lol, you must be very desperate after this period

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal Service throughout the whole experience. I was seen by Lesley who along with her assistant kept the atmosphere very relaxed for me, I was having two hours in the chair but they managed to keep me calm throughout. One of the major pros of having Lesley carry out my work was the continual education she provided, making sure I understood exactly what they were going to be carrying out as well as how my personal treatment at home could be improved in different ways to make sure I was back less often. All round completely and utterly satisfied and would recommend Crabbs Cross to any family and friends.

Fantastic experience: After losing my confidence with my previous dentist i was very optimistic about finding a dentist i could trust.After reviewing CQC reports for local practices i fell upon Crabbs Cross Dental Surgery and their report looked favourable with "Good" for all 5 KLOES. I have to say i am so glad i chose this practice as my new dental care provider .I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.The service is first class and all the staff are so professional & compassionate towards you.After previous bad experiences i now class myself as a nervous patient,however today i had the extraction of a Wisdom tooth along with a second upper Molar .The extractions were completely straight forward, l did not feel any pain whatsoever and i was constantly reassured by Mr Dodhy throughout the whole process. Extremely pleased patient sending a big thank you.See you in January 2020 :)
