Negative experience: I tried calling the dental clinic three times on Friday to reschedule my appointment before they closed. I was coming down with a cold and a cough and didn’t think it was be sensible for me to get my teeth cleaned with me feeling poorly. No one had picked up the phone and since this is my only form of contact. I decided to see if i could reschedule on Monday for a hygiene appointment some time in the future Went on call with a lady who is usually in the reception, i have had her for quite a while as i’ve been going to this dentist for over 15 years She told me she had to go to reception and see. She tried to go on hold, however, she didn’t mute the phone and was repeatedly telling one of the other staff members stuff about me that is unprofessional, very rude and left me in disbelief It went down the line of that i was careless and how “i never choose to make it to any of my appointments” and that i always have an excuse so they were to book me in for early February I want to make it clear that I am not bothered that they want to book me in for early February, however, the lack of respect from this dental team is just utterly shocking. I have never in my life been talked bad about like this to my face. This is a dental clinic, not a year seven hang out sesh. I want to also make it clear once again that i was repeatedly calling them on the phone Friday but no one responded. This is because the lady chose to say today that i didn’t send them an email, which i said i don’t have their email as i’ve only ever contacted them on the phone. I am utterly disappointed at this dental clinic, i have been going to them since i was a child and never once did i ever think a PRIVATE dental clinic can talk this much rubbish over the phone to one another. What a shame as the dental clinic itself isn’t even that bad. I won’t be going again after this, i would rather go find another dentist which is professional (already have) then be spoken about like an idiot BEHIND MY BACK and pay 80 quid for a hygiene appointment

Negative experience: I wish I could rate this place a 0. A couple of years ago I began to have a serious pain in my gums/jaw. I was a student at the time with limited money. However, the pain was so awful I reluctantly chose to go private. What a mistake that was!!! I rang up and was told I would need a hygienist appointment. Got that fairly quickly so no problems there. However, in the appointment I was treated incredibly poorly. Firstly, I have never had a dentist speak to me so poorly especially given I was a private patient paying A LOT for this service. Secondly, the whole process of cleaning my gums was incredibly painful and once it was over, my whole mouth felt numb with pain and all I could taste was blood. Thirdly, when the cleaning was done I was given a 10/15 minute advert of a particular oral b toothbrush that I didn’t want or ask for?? I was in so much pain I just wanted to leave. After the appointment I had to take ibuprofen for weeks as my teeth were so sensitive. I ended up calling an emergency dentist a week later as my gums had the same intense pain all over again. Upon arriving at an NHS emergency dental clinic I was told: the hygienist did a horrific job; I should have been prescribed antibiotics; my gums were severely inflamed and now infected due to the poor dentistry. The dentists at the emergency clinic were significantly better than whatever I spent over £180 on. After the course of antibiotics and incredible care by the NHS, my gums and teeth are in perfect order. My story is a warning to anyone that might be wondering to go here. DO NOT BOTHER!! I recommend: MyDentist Foregate street, far better quality and cheaper!!

Negative experience: Beware the demon dentist. Went in with pain in my jaw as I couldn't get an emergency NHS appointment. I was poked and proded by what I assume is the lead dentist, to be given no clarification really over what was going on, given a course of antibiotics for £86, i remained in continual pain for over a week, only to require the services of the NHS emergency dentist the following weekend, the emergency NHS dentist gave me a preliminary root canal and resolved the issue. I would avoid this dentist if you are in need of urgent treatment and have not been before, unless your handing over big money, I doubt they are interested, even then there's better dentists out there who will make you feel like you have been to see a dentist and not a man masquerading as one.

Fantastic experience: I do like this dentist they are all really personable,v lucky to have them. Dr Bad is also a character, very tongue in cheek, who is thoroughly entertaining

Shamrock the hygienist has put me completely at ease since my first visit and with his support and encouragement I have improved my overall oral hygiene 10 fold. This practice is a little gem!

Positive experience: It is with regret that I have to give a negative feedback ,after spending £11,750 with this dentist from 2022 up to May last year ,when new bridge set up ,made up from crowns and two implants collapsed, at the centre of my lower mouth it was one of my own teeth had weakened ,and when the dentist was asked why use my own teeth in the bridge set up ,i was told that they never take out good teeth ,and my original teeth had been included in the bridge set up ,and considering my age ie mid 70 s ,so anyone of my age I would advice not to copy my project and get a second pinion ,because dentist don’t always give the best advice ! Particularly if you planning implants !as I undertook a Scan to check my lower jaw ,however told afterwards that I would need a bone graft to take one of the implants !there just seemed to be some bad planning over a period of 2 yrs ,I have communicated with the dentist however I have not had a reply as yet ,I am now trying some legal action ,I will retinue to this page and let the readers know what the outcome is …photos to follow ! Fantastic experience: If you're a nervous patient - I'd highly recommend this practice. Following a bad experience, I'd not been to the dentist for over 3 years and was seriously nervous about returning. However, the staff at this practice are all amazing. Gemma and Jodie the dental nurses are SO reassuring and helped me build my confidence back. Dr Badeli actually managed to persuade me to have a crown - and he did this without one second of pain or discomfort. And my biggest fear of all - the hygienist - Shamrock was super-patient and gentle and just lovely. Again, a totally pain-free experience. So all in all - a very positive experience. Highly recommended, especially if you're verging on the phobic as I was!

Negative experience: What a huge mistake, how can you call yourself a dentist!!! £225 for a filling that was only described by a NHS dentist as appallingly bad! You made my toothache worse! I will be contacting the dentist industry to stop you from practicing!!

Fantastic experience: I was due to have wisdom tooth and molar removed on NHS but the waiting list was taking so long and I was in pain all the time, so I called Deva Dental. They saw me straight away. The staff were lovely, helpful and full of empathy, especially since I was very nervous and stressed about it all. The dentist who removed my teeth was just brilliant. Definitely recommend!

The surgeon has lots of empathy and explained everything really well. She is specialised precisely in this. Many years' experience too. My son went for 2 further extractions. Fantastic experience: I had been in excruciating pain for seven days after my dentist said she wouldn't be able to extract my tooth herself. I was referred to the hospital but with a 20+ week waiting list, I just couldn't as the pain was unbearable. I looked around for private dentists in Chester and came across Deva Dental Clinic, after reading the reviews I gave them a call on Thursday and explained my ordeal. I had an appointment made the next day and Dr Sunitha had the tooth out in five minutes, pain free. I cannot thank Deva Dental enough! Fantastic service from the reception team and from Dr Sunitha herself. I felt pretty calm there considering I'm terrified of going to the dentist, but she explained everything fully and made me feel at ease. No where near as traumatic as I was expecting. I'll be going private from now on and staying with Deva Dental. Thank you!

Negative experience: Went for a standard check-up and I kid you not I opened my mouth and after less than 10 seconds Dr. Badeli just said all clear nothing to worry about. Didn't touch the gums or address anything really. Then got two x-rays either side of the mouth for just the back 4 teeth (previously places this has been an entire jaw x-ray to see the condition of all the teeth and not just the rear 8...) of which at the end of the appointment came to realise it was an additional £24 which wasn't mentioned. Personally I like to feel like I haven't been rushed through a check-up that could potentially catch serious issues that could appear in the future, even if everything is okay. Some more explanation or talking with the patient is better than sitting in the chair for 5 minutes and then leaving like you're on a conveyor belt. Would recommend going elsewhere or at least not with Dr. Badeli.

Fantastic experience: Dr Badeli is a teddy bear, he's the best dentist by far, and he's such a good person as well, he's took me from crying to actually looking forward to go in and see him. He helps you whenever he can. Like yesterday, for example I phoned up with really bad tooth ache he said come straight in, and sorted it all for me straight away. He's amazing beyond words! I would never go another dentist now I've found him.

The dental nurses and reception staff are fantastic as well. Best dentist I have had and in 60 years I've had a few! :-) Great practice and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

I'm a nervous patient but Dr Sunitha who performed the extraction instantly put me at ease and the staff are lovely. Want as painful or traumatic as I thought it was going to be.
