Fantastic experience: 23998 Fantastic experience this weekend, they were brilliant with my little girl and running on time. Lovely welcome from the lady on reception. This is the third time we've been and have always felt very comfortable there. My daughter really actually doesn't mind going to the dentist now.

Fantastic experience: My girls have been going here for about a year now and all staff are polite and really kind. They all get a thorough check up we don’t feel rushed or pushed through quickly. Nothing is too much trouble and I would highly recommend this practice.

I have never received anything less than a thoroughly professional, and exceptionally skilled, clinical response. Today, when l needed an emergency appointment, my call was answered promptly by Stephanie (practice manager) who responded with the consistent level of professionalism and courtesy that this practice delivers right across the staff team. Both the dentist and the dental assistant were welcoming, sympathetic and reassuring, quickly establishing the problem and carefully explaining my options for treatment. Once decided, the clinical intervention went seamlessly- each stage of the process was undertaken calmly, gently and unhurriedly. I was entirely confident in their skills and not in the least anxious. The next stage of the plan was then clarified and the timescale scheduled to ensure my convenience, the practice manager going out of her way to ensure that the technical adjustment could happen quickly for me. If you are looking for a professional, highly skilled and efficient practice who will always treat you courteously and kindly, this is the practice for you and your family. Fantastic experience: Always welcoming and caring. I saw Dr Rodrigues again today and I am anxious about a necessary extraction and maybe an implant but my treatment plan was explained clearly and will be throughout . I always find the staff caring and understanding.

Fantastic experience: I went with a problem that was not sorted by another dentist in the town. They were very happy to help. Sorted in the time frame that suited me. Everyone their was really lovely. Very, very happy to go back there. Happy to call them My Dentist.

Fantastic experience: Some may find this irreverent, but here goes: God said "Let there be light" DDS said "Let there be smiles" That''s what Dr. Kate did, forever risplendent, that's what Nazeeya Hassan does on my annual visits, that's what Lolli does on my sporadic interactions with her. They give you a reason to smile, and they give you the smile.

Fantastic experience: Seen dr. Nazeeya now 3 times and she is so understanding and careful. I'm older and not very good at the dentist but she totally cares and calming. I needed a periodontist appointment as I've been scared to have my teeth cleaned for over 10 years but she advised me that it needed to be done and would be of benefit. Fantastic experience: My children were able to get NHS dentist here when we moved here last year. They have been very patient and kind - always calm and friendly with the children. Fixing my daughter’s glue bonding each time. Nice atmosphere, clean and low level waiting area. Spacious, comfortable seating and airy. Little books and Easter bunnies around to keep kids amused. Easy to reach location in town close to shops and parking at ASDA.

Fantastic experience: Dental staff are very good and understanding they look after you and I appreciate the help from everyone and my teeth are very clean and nice feeling to them and the staff are all very kind and helpful and good with children I highly recommend Thankyou to all.

Negative experience: Absolutely unacceptable! I booked an appointment, and just 30 minutes before, they canceled it, claiming their system crashed. They promised to call me back the same day or the next—never did. I had to chase them myself, only to be offered an appointment a week later, while I’m in severe pain! This level of incompetence and lack of care for patients is disgraceful. Avoid this place if you value your time and health.

Fantastic experience: Took my 9 yr old daughter, Polly, in for a couple of fillings, she wasn't the easiest of customers but the dentist and nurse were wonderful with her (even let her listen to sabrina Carpenter while have treatment) but they were both reassuring and patient with her! Fantastic experience: I have been receiving private treatment by Dr Kate all throughout 2024 including root canal, fillings, teeth whitening, crown and the cherry on the cake my new composite bonding. I have never been happier with my teeth and would recommend the dental design studio team. Dr Kate is a fantastic dentist, she listens to what you want to achieve and she takes a lot of pride in her work and very thorough and professional, the best dentist I have been to! I also have hygienist appointments and love how clean my teeth are after having this treatment. Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter in for her 6 monthly checks. We were seen promptly on time which is a welcome surprise as our previous dentist were always running late! The nurse was friendly and explained all that was going on so my daughter felt at ease. I am now registering my baby son here after receiving great service and finding out they are currently taking on new NHS patients under 15. Thanks for great service!

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of Dr Kate and Nurse Michelle and the team. Having been born without 8 adult teeth, I have had many issues and problems with my teeth over the years and always avoided showing my teeth when I smiled. At the age of 56 I finally have a smile I can be proud of thanks to Dr Kate. She is so kind and gentle, no pain whatsoever and truly wants the results to be the best they can possibly be. The absolute best dentist I have ever been to, thank you everyone at Dental Design Studio

Negative experience: Ridiculous they are net taking any new nhs patient and while sitting waiting for sons appointment the reason for this is because most of there dentist are going private Just shows how greedy dentist / dr are getting

Fantastic experience: I have used The Dental Design Studio at Stowmarket for a couple of years now and always receive exceptional service from beginning to end. I most recently attended the hygienist who was excellent, I never used to like the dentist but I am always put at ease every time I go.

Negative experience: I am resorting to a public review because of a wasted 56 miles round trip visit for a regular check-up for my son recently. We reached on time and were told by the receptionist that the appointment didn't exist in the system, though I had received an email from the dentistry confirming and reminding me of appointment. I showed the email to them, and they were clueless. One of the ladies who were attending us at reception said the appointment was cancelled in February, of which I had no clue nor a notification from them. On asking how then dentistry managed to send reminder for appointment a week in advance , I got no satisfactory answer. They did apologise though it was of little use to compensate my long trip for a regular checkup. I was offered another appointment next month. They need to sort their appointment system to avoid frustration especially for customers who are in pain and/or are travelling from far. If anyone from dentistry is taking a note, please could you assure no other customer has to further go through my ordeal.

Negative experience: Never again will I venture into this dental practice. In october 2022 a crown that I had fitted at DDS Lowestoft as NHS patient 7 years earlier came off. Having moved to the area, I registered with DDS in Stowmarket to get checked out and get a new crown (Private). During initial checks, it was found there was a small hole in an adjacent tooth. I was aware of this as it had previously been found by DDS Lowestoft but not acted upon during crown fitment (prescribed 3x Duraphat toothpaste) and had caused no issues since. During subsequent visits, the hole in the adjacent tooth was drilled and filled and impressions made for a crown. The initial crown fitment did not go well and the crown was now too high and was sent away to be reworked. The crown came back dish shaped. In hindsight, I should have refused it. I cannot remember if it was before or after the crown fitment, one evening I experienced severe pain in the adjacent tooth (post drill/fill). This happened both while eating or when flossing between the tooth and the crown. Unfortunately, the Dr at the DDS was unable to diagnose the the issue and referred to a specialist at Guildhall Bury. Approximately 7 months after the new crown was fitted, it proceeded to fall off and break into pieces (see picture). On inspection, the crown had been ground back to such a point there was structurally nothing left. As a private patient and considering the sum I had paid was naturally left feeling exasperated. Subsequently, I complained to the DDS and a refund of monies paid for treatment was offered and accepted, I still however had appointments booked for the hygeinist. I personally don't blame the Dr for whom I'm not going to name. They were lovely, well mannered and quite capable. However, it was apparent that the time pressures placed on them by DDS meant all work felt rushed and they were not allowed sufficient time Guildhall inspected the tooth, found a lateral crack under the cusp, ground back and rebuilt/filled etc. Also engaged with them to fit a new crown. Suffice to say, the service from them was night and day compared to DDS. Unfortunately, the story with DDS doesn't end there. My appointment with the Hygeinist was moved (can't blame someone for taking a break) and rebooked into a cancelled appointment with someone different. The day before the appointment I received a notification requesting additional information including weight, contact and family health issues and completed the request. On the day, signed in at the front desk and subsequently called through to sit down. Upon sitting down, the hygeinist opened my notes and had a read through whilst whispering and conferring with the nurse. Several minutes passed afterwhich I asked if there was a problem. I was then told that due to insurance purposes, I was too overweight for chair and therefore couldn't be treated. The nurse left the room to seek advice, returned and said to the hygeinist "they said to do it anyway". Further whispering and conferring later I overheard the nurse say "it's entirely up to you". The hygeinist then turned to me and repeated that due to insurance purposes I couldn't be treated due to weight restrictions on the chair. Feeling incredibly embarassed and insulted at this point, I stated that if they were refusing to treat because of that then there's no point in me hanging around, that I will leave and get a refund from the front desk - which I did. I understand that the practice has to act accordingly under health and safety law, however, this never posed an issue earlier in the year when I was having other work done, neither has it posed an issue at Guildhall when having work done there. I'm mostly frustrated at the fact that I only received the forms the day before the appointment and then had to go through the embarassment of being refused treatment. Where are the reasonable adjustments or reasonable alternative? Your team didn't know what to do, how to react or what to say - completely unprofessional service Edit: Owner responded but still no apology. Appalling.

Fantastic experience: I took my children to The Dental Design Studio this week after leaving another dentist in Stowmarket that I wasn’t happy with. They were very polite and friendly and we didn’t have to wait too long (we've had to wait 50 mins at the other place before). The dentist and dental nurse were very professional and friendly, put my children at ease and gave a thorough consultation, without judgement! I would definitely recommend and we will be returning.

Fantastic experience: After visiting this practice yesterday, I could not be more impressed. My daughter of ten months was due a her first checkup and having read the reviews, I got her registered at the DDS as soon as I could. As I live about 30/40 minutes away, registration was done via email and was made very easy. Unfortunately on the day of the appointment, I received a call to reschedule as the dentist had called in sick. However the team were very understanding when I explained I was very nearly there, having driven for half an hour and arranged for another dentist to see us. We went in on time and the dentist we saw (Dr Rodrigues) was absolutely fantastic with my daughter. He played with her, checked her teeth and answered all of my questions. Fantastic service and I'm slightly gutted that I'm registered elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: I have been with this dental practice for nearly most of my life and I have never once had a bad experience. All the staff are very friendly. I have a regular dentist who I see which is Dr Rui Rodrigues and he is an amazing dentist. I am a very nervous patient but he always reassures me and always puts me at ease and when I’m honest about something he is a very good listener and doesn’t judge. I recently saw him on Tuesday for my first ever wisdom tooth extraction and a filling to be re done and he was amazing towards me all the way throughout he checked to see if I knew what I was having done and then he explained what he is going to be doing which was filling and then extraction. It was my first extraction and I was so relaxed and comfortable and did not experience any pain at all and was no longer nervous. He ensured I was numb enough and spoke to me all throughout the procedures and when I had my extraction he was speaking to me and explaining what he was doing and he ensured I was not in any pain. He is overall an amazing dentist and I hope this feedback goes back to him as he is incredible at what he does.

Fantastic experience: I was called in on time and was able to get helpful clarification concerning the need for an extraction. I was very impressed with the dentist's patience with my questions. I was given a local anaesthetic followed by tests of its effectiveness. The extraction was performed in a very careful manner and afterwards I was given a 'treatment pack' that included advice for the following 24+ hours. The team could not be faulted.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming to all the family. Kids actually enjoy going as know if all goes well, they get stickers. Great interaction from receptionist to the children, even got Halloween glove decorations given to them both.

Fantastic experience: I had to have an extraction and the process was fully explained, I was in the chair some 30 plus minutes due to a minor complication but was asked if I needed a break and the whole thing was handled with great care and consideration, Dr Rodreges ensured that my well-being was not comprised and patient safety was his main concern, I hate going to the dentist but on this occasion I left feeling that the best job had been performed.

Fantastic experience: Attending twice within a few weeks for a minor filling repair and a regular hygiene appointment - as an NHS patient. On both occasions, I was reminded beforehand of the appointment by text, email and phone. The practice is modern, clean and covid aware. The work to be done and the reasons for it were explained clearly. The hygienist now uses an ultrasonic water based device rather than a pick for most of the work. The dental clinicians, assistants ( Dr Georgia, Izzy, Dr Kate and Tilly) and support staff are all friendly and polite. I feel this is important for people who might be wary of visiting the dentist. The advice I have received from the dental clinicians for my dental day to day cleaning and their work to repair historic damage ( from my previously lacklustre brushing) has saved my teeth and gums. In 50+ years I can honestly say that they are the best dentists I've ever had. Some car parking immediately outside their practice but loads more nearby at Asda for a very modest charge.

Dr Aikaterini Tsingelidi is nothing less than brilliant, her empathy and support relaxed me enough to chose to have a root canal treatment! Her dental skills are excellent, “she really knows her stuff” she’s a wonderful communicator explaining the procedures and what as the patient I’m to experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been registered with this dental practice for quite a few years and I have always been really happy with the care provided. For the last three appointments, I have been seeing Dr A Tsingelidi more regularly and I cannot recommend her enough! She does my dental and hygienist appointment. She is always giving me new tips to ensure that I can achieve optimal results when cleaning my teeth. I am now the proud owners of a few gadgets and thanks to her saved a small fortune as in the past I would have bought the latest model! But Dr Tsingelidi is always making sure that I don't overspend in what I don't need or the latest trend! She always does a really careful examination, cleaning and polish and makes the appointment very individual with the results that I feel very cared for! I have always had a high level of input since a very young age; I have been to many private dentists in my life and spent a small fortune! Whilst I always attended the dentist regularly and thought I was taking good care of my teeth, it is not till discovering this dental practice that I can finally say I am proudly looking after my teeth to the best of my abilities. The result is that the only cost I have had in the last five years, is my six monthly check ups and cleaning! All my family are registered here and all are equally happy. My children have recently saw Dr Rodrigues and they are equally delighted with the care received! Thank you for your hard work even more so during this pandemic. Unlike many other practices, you have been seeing us regularly throughout!!

Although I am always a little suspicious of numerous reviews from people who have only ever left one review! Fantastic experience: Amazed at the welcome and service I received whilst attending my consultation appointment. Being a nervous patient I was worried as soon as I got there, Dentist Dr Micaela Cordeiro reassured me from the go and couldn't of made me feel any more at ease. My treatment plan was explained to me thoroughly by both the dentist and the assistant manager on reception, Kerrie. I highly recommend the Team here at The Dental Design Studio Stowmarket!
