Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr. D'Andrea highly enough. I was a bit worried and apprehensive about my invisalin procedure but he reassurred me gave me easy to understand instructions and followed up promptly with a review after 2 months as he had promised. I use him anyway for my general oral health and once again his smooth bedside always calms my nervous disposition. Thank you Ace

Negative experience: I received invisalign treatment with Dr. Gian-Marco D’Andrea in 2023 for an overbite and overcrowding. During the treatment I developed and open bite on the right side of my mouth, Dr Gian did not seem too concerned when I then told him that my jaw was starting to intermittently lock on that side during treatment. Approximately three months into treatment, I woke up one morning with my jaw completely locked on the right side and in a lot of pain. I contacted Dr Gian who said that it was because I grind my teeth, however I never had this issue until I started invisalign. Two years later my jaw is still locked, I have seen numerous dentists and maxillo facial doctors who have confirmed this is due to invisalign leaving me with a crossbite which has put pressure on my joint. I am currently on the waiting list for an athroscopy surgery in the hope it will relieve the pain I experience daily. I deeply regret receiving treatment at this practise and wish I had been more aware and gone to an orthodontist.

Negative experience: Ok for very basic treatments only, although expensive.

Negative experience: It’s a shame as the dentists are good but the practice management is awful. Every time we go they call asking for more money after we leave the practice, and often it’s completely unclear why - this time there have been two calls requesting additional payments, one month and then two months later. It’s happened too many times now so we won’t be going back

Dr. Gian-Marco D’Andrea is a true professional. He explained everything to me step by step, was always gentle, worked with great care, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Fantastic experience: I recently visited Ace Dental for a broken tooth, and my experience was excellent from start to finish. Dr. Nassim thoroughly assessed all my teeth and performed the extraction with great care. The entire process was pain-free, and Dr. Nassim was extremely professional and reassuring throughout. I truly appreciate the quality of care I received and highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Completed my dental implant treatment this week and am delighted with the results. It was a complex treatment as I required a bone graft so that I could have implants. Dr Nasim Mechoui ensured that the bone graft procedure was a success, allowing the implants to go ahead. I was provided with an Invisalign device with temporary teeth whilst healing took place and this was unnoticeable to others which was reassuring. Dr Mechoui and his team of nurses and receptionists are super friendly and pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Dr Mechoui and the team at Ace Dental in Wanstead. 10 stars!

Fantastic experience: OK so I have used Ace dental for tooth extractions twice. Truthful I suffer with extreme anxiety and have had to be sedated for teeth work. also being that the adrenaline in the injection heighten my Faint feeling. I decided to try and conquer my fears and I must say Dr Noor and her team have been so good helping me. I admit I have been rocky character with a few pass outs on first tooth extraction , the last tooth to be done I pretty much done it with just a mild episode. Its a massive self achievement for me to come this far, The only reason I have done this is because how comfortable I have been made , also how compassionate the team has been in understanding that I am scared 6foot 2 guy , 16 stone that struggles with dentist . Negative experience: Terrible experience for a dental hygiene session. The dentist used a very strong tool that made my teeth very sensitive and sore for more than 2 weeks. They do not have the proper tools for polishing and the works is done very quickly and not with care. The dentist also left unpolished the back of my teeth leaving them unclean and uncomfortable, when I asked him to finish properly the job he made up that I had some de mineralisation going on when it was clear that it was the job unfinished. Because I have issues with my gums I have been having Hygiene sessions in central London dentists for more than a decade every 6 months, this session was by far the worst. My teeth were sore and sensitive for weeks and my teeth were not clean at all. Do not recommend

Fantastic experience: I can't say I enjoyed my experience - it is the dentist's after all - but it was as good as I could possibly hope. Friendly and everything is properly explained, and the outcomes are good.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my children see Dr Kapoor and she is both a lovely person and an excellent dentist. She listens, is caring, and makes potentially stressful visits much easier to bear! She recently fitted a new crown for me after my old one from twenty years ago had fallen out. She did a fantastic job, it looks better than the original. My children really like her so they have no fear of going to the dentist, overall a great service for the whole family. Fantastic experience: Just completed Invisalign straightening with Gian-Marco and am delighted with the results. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Very poor customer service. I booked in for a clean and airflow with the dentist. The main part that I wanted was the airflow to remove stains but the airflow machine broke half way through so I did not get this part of the service. I was informed that I could come in at later date for the airflow and when I tried to rebook I was told I could not do this and would have to pay the full £95 again. Very disappointing! Since posting this review the owner responded to say this shouldn’t have happened and to email the manager to get it sorted. I have left 2 messages for a call back and sent an email and still had no response. I also asked the manger to call me when this happened and didn’t get a call.

I did the whitening there 3 years ago and more recently I did the Invisalign treatment and was followed by Dr Gian Marco who is always reassuring and provides good advice. Very happy with the results of the treatment, which overall went very smoothly.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Ace Dental for the past 7 years. Always very happy with the treatment, care and professionalism of the team. The receptionists are friendly and helpful and Gian great! I have sensitive gums but never felt any pain when Gian cleans my teeth. And most of all thanks to his patience my 5 year old daughter now enjoys going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I transferred to ACE dental at least 8 years ago after a few bad experiences at another local practice. As a surgery they have always been easy to access with appointments and very honest. I have recently received excellent care where both the receptionist and Dr Konnie went above and beyond to assist with my treatment. The surgery feels modern with traditional values as they know the family and children. Just like it was in the 'old days'.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say a massive thanks to Dr Gian Marco and team at Ace Dental for their kindness and professionalism. I had few white fillings done and an hygiene session. Being an extremely nervous patients is not easy to come to the dentist , however I have been treated so kindly and reassured all the way. Fantastic experience: I came to Ace a year ago as they were able to take me as an emergency that day when I was in extreme pain. I have had root canal treatment and 4 crowns fitted and each time O gave been very impressed by the staff- receptionist, dental nurse and dentist. Each procedure was carefully explained and carried out quickly and as pain free as it could be. I have avoided the dentist in the past but the service here is exemplary.

I was recommended Clear Correct rather than Invisalign, which was a better price and appropriate for my treatment. Fantastic experience: I have been very fortunate to be treated by the team at Ace Wanstead for some time now. I was extremely lucky to be taken on as an NHS patient. I have multiple health problems and I have always been treated with kindness, support and respect. The welcome from the reception team on arrival is wonderful, big smiles, I feel valued and well looked after. Special mention to fantastic Romona!, who is so knowledgeable and is always so understanding and treats her patients as individuals. Ramona is also a very experienced dental nurse, so can answer all your worries and concerns. At my recent visit I met a new doctor called Gianno. He was absolutely exceptional. Kind and patient explained all my options to replace my missing teeth. He asked many questions trying to find the best solution for me. He has referred me to the London hospital for further investigation’s. I truly felt I was the very best I have ever had from any dentist. Gianno is clearly hugely knowledgeable, and was concerned enough to refer me to the hospital. I cannot speak highly enough of Gianno and want to thank him so much for giving me hope. Fantastic experience: Ace Dental Wanstead, treated my wife for a loose front tooth. Fortunately didn’t require extraction (fell out on its own) was concerned as she is a very nervous patient, however there was absolutely no need to be concerned. Dr Noor was amazing, she was gentle and reassuring and at all times explained clearly each step of the treatment required. The denture replacement is perfectly matched and it’s difficult to tell which one it is at first glance and on closer inspection. A massive thank you to both Dr Noor and the lovely receptionist for putting us both at ease. We will definitely be returning when dental treatment is needed for either of us.

Negative experience: If i could i would give it 0. The dr was very impatient and was always in a rush; from the moment you walked in. My mother is hospital bound after a tooth extraction. The doctor (Noor) didn’t even calm her or give any information…just went ahead. She injected my mother for tooth numbing and did not wait at all and went ahead pulling the tooth out in a rough manner. She had said during the initial visit it will take 40-45 minutes…shockingly it took 15 minutes! The doctor was very rude as my mother does not have fluent English. She is a money making doctor. However the hell did she get 5 stars. Omg! Im so so annoyed…she needs to be sued

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient to Ace Dental and my first appointment was fantastic. Dr Noor took time to understand my history and concerns, talked me through every step of the appointment (what she was doing, how things would feel) and discussed future treatment options with me without any pressure to commit. I left with my teeth feeling the best they've felt in years.

Fantastic experience: Just want to say a massive thank you to the Ace Dental team and in particular dentist Noor. I have bad chipping of my front teeth and was not happy with the appearance. She was able to carry out tooth whitening and apply composite bonding; the results have been fantastic. My confidence has rocketed and I couldn’t be happier!

Negative experience: I made the mistake of swapping from a perfectly great central private dentist to what I thought would be a cheaper, local alternative. First the good bit: Dr Noor is knowledgable and very nice. Unfortunately, m visit was immediately made uncomfortable by the extremely rude receptionist who tried to lecture me on filling out forms. It was a very unpleasant exchange and nearly made me walk out of the clinic. Secondly, I didn't appreciate that I was given the more expensive tooth cleaning without being consulted. All Noor said was: "I'm going to do this now." I found out afterwards that I was being charged more. All in all my consultation took no longer than 20 minutes and cost me £140. I would have spent the same at my former dentist but would have been treated kindly and with respect. I left feeling ripped off and disrespected. For those reasons, I won't be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I went to ace dental today for a teeth clean with Dr Konnie. I was ridiculously nervous as I have never been to a hygienist before. Dr konnie was excellent. She was so calm, so sensitive and just made the whole experience a pleasure, taking time to make me as comfortable as possible. Her dental nurse was incredible and I held her hand very tightly. The receptionist was very kind too. Thank you all of you. I'll be back next year and will pass on my recommendations to friends!!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Ace Dental after being recommended by a friend. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention and care I was given by Dr Kapoor. I can honestly say that this is the first time I've left the dentist with a smile on my face. I went in for an examination and an airflow clean and I'm halfway through my Smile Makeover. After having previous bad experiences with other dentists, it has been very reassuring to finally find one I can trust. Dr Kapoor was extremely informative and educated me on the importance of oral and gut health. Looking forward to my next visit.

Negative experience: very disappointed. having read some of the great reviews below and it indeed looks like a state of the art modern clean place. i feel like i was ripped off my money for initial consultation. i had a few dental problems for which i wanted 2nd opinion/thorough check and with this dentist i felt like they were just doing a chore(of XRays) and the rest i was having to probe and ask questions(about prices...options...etc). they werent really explaining just telling me i had xyz problems in which ever teeth and referring to my treatment plan which would be printed out. if i had come merely to look at a piece paper i could have gone anywhere. where i need work on a few teeth done, i needed clear explanation and I just left confused and as if i was asking 100 questions and they were just merely answering with no enthusiasm.i felt like i was just bothering this person i wish i had requested to be seen by this dentist noor or Konnie who i can see below have been delightfully mentioned many times. i am upset by my money wasted esp.as i am a single mother of 2 and this appt.was very important to me...

Fantastic experience: Ace Dental in Wanstead is a fantastic practice. I came here with my 4 year old son. It was his first time at the dentist and I was a bit worried how he would take it, due to Covid restrictions etc. The receptionist was so lovely and warm with him. And Dr Konnie was fantastic and very kind - she gave him 3 stickers. She even did the impossible and convinced him that he didn't need a dummy anymore. Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Ace Dental Wanstead. I am an extremely nervous patient after a terrible experience a number of years ago with another dentist, after which I was only able to have any dentistry done under conscious sedation. However I have been seeing Dr Kapoor for a while now, and my fear and anxiety is decreasing with every single appointment. She and the rest of the staff have always been incredibly kind and patient with me, taking their time, and stopping whenever I need a break. Every member of staff is lovely and professional, and they always run efficiently. It is wonderful to have found a dentist who is so understanding of my individual circumstances and whom I am able to trust.

Fantastic experience: I don’t even know where to begin, but this dental practice is absolutely amazing! I came in because my old crown had broken off and I’m due to be in the US in 10 days. The amazing receptionist was so kind and personable, and really accommodated me so that I could get my crown fit in a timely manner. Dr. Kapoor is also amazing and explains everything clearly and makes me feel at ease. I am looking forward to getting my crown fit by her this coming week, and will continue to come here for dental work and updates. Thank you ACE Dental!
