Fantastic experience: Firstly I want to thank Dr Veerinder and his staff for the excellent service provided. Due to anxiety with dentists I haven’t visited for the last 3 years. I had a deep hole in one wisdom tooth, and deep cavity and infection in the other. My own fault for the neglect in the first place. I was seen as an emergency couple of days ago and was provided with antibiotics and booked in straight away for both upper wisdom teeth to be extracted. I was very nervous on the day and was put at ease straight away firstly from Miah, then from Dr Veerinder himself. The extraction itself was very fast and painless, I was given excellent aftercare advise. Thankyou for seeing me at such short notice especially during the Christmas period. This is the best dental experience I have had in the last 40 years. Will recommend to family and friends. Outstanding service and will definitely be using you again.

Fantastic experience: A friend recommended Birmingham Dental Excellence. I was suffering pain due to decay and a cavity in my lower wisdom tooth. I hadn't been to the dentist for over 10 years... it was my own fault for leaving this for so long. However Dr Veerinder was very understanding about my situation. At the initial consultation it was quickly established that the tooth could be extracted and an appointment was arranged very soon at a very reasonable cost. The service was really good. I was put at ease and Dr Veerinder was kind and professional throughout. Mostly fear stopped me having this tooth taken out earlier, as well as bad experiences in the past at the NHS dentist. This was a good experience in the end. I am alot better since having the tooth out and for anyone looking for a private dentist I recommend you give Dr Veerinder a try. I have and I will definately be coming here again for my dental check ups.

Fantastic experience: Came here for my Smile White and the dentist was very helpful along with his assistants every time that I came . Had a smile I wasn’t too pleased with and left feeling like I had a beautiful smile and immense amount of confidence all thanks to the people here . I Made a slight hiccup during my treatment where I was supposed to wear aligners but didn’t and the dentist quickly assured me with some new pairs to achieve my perfect smile . Dr Veerinder explains everything really clearly so you understand the process and he puts you at ease. I was even able to message when one of my aligners cracked and he got me a replacement quickly and was able to offer advice - I really appreciated how prompt they responded as I was stressing! The dentist is located at Fort Dunlop, it’s stress-free with plenty of free parking and a really nice clinic, booking appointments was very straight forward and I appreciated the text reminders. When I needed to change an appointment it was no issue, and I was even able to get an appointment on a Saturday.

The lovely lady on reception booked me in for an emergency same day appointment to have a painful molar looked at, my tooth was extracted by the dentist quickly & without pain, making sure the anaesthetic was working fully & talking me through the procedure. I'm very grateful to the team for getting me seen at such short notice, making me feel at ease & for relieving my pain within just 6 hours of me filling in the form online to request an emergency call back. Fantastic experience: I had the dental hygiene treatment completed by Leen. She was absolutely brilliant, did an amazing job on my teeth. She took her time and also did the stain removal treatment on my teeth. Highly recommended. The receptionist was also very friendly and helped me when I got lost. You have to park across the road in the main car park but they give you free parking.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment after seeing an online advertisement and paid a deposit straight away. A week before my original appointment, I was contacted and asked to reschedule due to the dentist being unavailable, which I agreed to. However, things took a turn when I had an appointment scheduled for 9:30 AM today. At 8:10 AM, I received a call to inform me that my appointment was cancelled and I was asked if I could reschedule. Given that I had already taken time off work twice, I declined and requested a refund of my deposit, as I no longer wished to proceed with their services. The situation escalated when I was accused of not paying the deposit, despite having proof of payment on my bank statement and having paid via Apple Pay. I explained this to the woman on the phone, but she insisted I was lying, claiming they don't contact patients outside of office hours. This directly contradicted my experience, and she even went as far as accusing me of being scammed by a fake advert. When I tried to explain that all my communication had been through the company’s official portal, and that I had received appointment confirmations via an automated service, the conversation became increasingly hostile. Despite offering to provide further proof of my deposit, I was interrupted and dismissed. At 1 PM, the dentist called to apologise, confirming that they had indeed received my deposit and would be refunding it. While I appreciated the apology, the entire experience was deeply frustrating and unprofessional. The way I was spoken to was completely unacceptable. It’s shocking to be treated with such disrespect, especially when mistakes are made by the company. If the dentist’s wife (who was handling my call) is unable to remain professional, she should not be in a customer-facing role. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I will not be returning

While rare, cancellations can happen when a clinician becomes unexpectedly unavailable, and although this is out of our hands, we fully recognise the inconvenience caused — especially when you had already arranged time away from work. The deposit issue was due to a breakdown in communication between our booking system and payment records, and while this has now been resolved with your refund issued, we understand how disappointing and confusing the situation must have felt.
We also need to be clear that being rude or disrespectful to any of our team members — including Tiffany & Nisha on reception who helps manage patient calls — is not acceptable. Keeping both our staff and patients safe, respected, and supported is always our top priority. Dr. Veerinder personally called to apologise because patient trust and care mean everything to us, and we are already taking steps to improve our communication processes to prevent this from happening again.
The overwhelming majority of our patients have excellent experiences with us, as reflected in our many 5-star reviews, and we regret that your experience did not reflect the standards we work hard to maintain. Fantastic experience: I’m really impressed with this dental practice! I called needing an urgent appointment and, to my surprise, they managed to fit me in within just 2 hours—while everywhere else had a wait time of a week to a month. The staff were professional, friendly, and made everything simple from start to finish. The dentist was quick, efficient, and clearly experienced. The prices were also very reasonable for the high quality of service. Just a heads-up—the car park can be a little tricky to find. It’s the Fort Dunlop office car park, which doesn’t look like a typical dentist car park since the whole building has many offices. Make sure to take the slip ticket with you to the front desk—they’ll validate it for you so parking is free. All in all, fast, professional service with a great team. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I was in the worst pain with a swollen eye. I looked online for a emergency dentist and BDE came up. Filled in my details and got a call straight away from Kerry who was so helpful and got me an appointment in a few hours. Fantastic experience: My experience at Birmingham Dental Excellence has been nothing short of amazing. I had enquired about possibly getting Invisalign’s in October 2024 and within a month I was able to start my treatments and begin my Invisalign journey to finally correct my smile. The process was so smooth and any issues I had Dr Veerinder was always there to help and answer any questions . Fantastic experience: Where can I start. If i could give Dr. Veerinder and his team 10 stars I would. The first time i walked into Dr. Veerinder's surgery i was so nervous and apprehensive about everything because in the past, I have had really bad experiences with dentists, but Dr. Veerinder and his team are so welcoming, friendly, and reassuring soon put me to ease. We had a consultation about what I wanted doing and what and how he could help. Dr. Veerinder explained everything to me, a step by step guide through the hole process. I have had veneers, crowns, and implants all fitted painlessly over a seven month period. It has been a long journey, but I suffer from gum disease, which has slowed the process down. I used to have a gum smile. Now, after my long journey, I have a beautiful teeth smile to be proud of. I have still got to go back for more treatment on other teeth, but with the reassurance and understanding of Dr. Veerinder and his team, I look forward to going. I am very grateful to Dr. Veerinder and his team for everything and would like to thank them all from the bottom of my heart.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Birmingham Dental Excellence was great. All staff from there is really polite and friendly. Doctor Veerinder is a dedicated professional person and explained me every step during the process of a tooth extraction. He carefully consulted me and after that he told me about what options I have, he also worked very carefully and he warn me about anything that I might feel like a bad taste or little pain. I am happy I choosed this dentist, he was over my expectations. I didn't felt any pain or discomfort at all. He offered me advice before and after the extraction and also gaved me a post operative leaflet with possible reactions and some advises. I am sure the healing process will be good as well and I was told in case I need any suggestions or help from them, to get in touch with them. I strongly recommend his service.
