Fantastic experience: I honestly couldn’t recommend Bethcar Dentist enough I’ve had nothing but an excellent experience everything has gone so smoothly, if I ever had any question or needed advice Catherine or the lady’s at the desk was always happy to help! Has of treatment I’ve had my teeth straightened and also composite bonding the results are everything I asked for Catherine is fantastic at her job she listened to every detail and it’s done to perfection I’m honestly so grateful to everyone at Bethcar! My only regret is not doing it sooner now I have the confidence to smile all thanks to them. Highly highly recommend honestly best dentist around!

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank this dental practice enough for what the have done for me in the last 10 days. I have recently joined this practice but was previously with another practice that let me down very badly. Bethar has restored my faith in dental practitioners and hygienists . I am an extremely nervous patient but I have had an extraction , scale and Polish and teeth put onto both plates for a very reasonable amount, all in 10 days. The girls there are just amazing , the receptionists Linda, Ann-marie and Claire, Natalie the nurse, Laura the dentist,Claire the hygienist and Sian the treatment co-ordinator. I can never thank these ladies enough. I will encourage anybody to join this fantastic dental practice 5⭐️

Cath and her team done an amazing job, for someone who feels anxious in the dentist the process was very comfortable and I felt looked after throughout. From start to finish, the whole experience has been amazing. The open day offer was unbeatable in price and value. including a free consultation, scans, photos, whitening, retainers, and a hygienist appointment. The girls have been incredible throughout my treatment. Cath and Naomi have been absolutely amazing! There was nothing they couldn’t do for me, and they made every appointment so easy and comfortable. Of course, the review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the fantastic reception team! The girls are always so friendly and helpful! I even had my braces off after just 5 months, which I never imagined would happen so quickly. To finish off my smile, I had composite bonding, and the only regret I have is not having it done sooner! it’s completely transformed my confidence. I couldn’t recommend the girls enough. From the lovely, friendly ladies on reception to the hygienist Claire and dental nurses, they all make me feel relaxed and comfortable during procedures. Fantastic experience: I started my journey at Bethcar because I was really unhappy with my smile and it left me feeling conscious and unable to confidently smile around anyone. The team there were so lovely and thorough and always go above and beyond to meet expectations or answer any queries you may have. I completed six months smiles and finished with composite bonding and I couldn't be happier with the result. Dr Cath is absolutely amazing at what she does and is really thorough with explaining what will happen with the treatment plan and any aftercare. Fantastic experience: Went to Laura for polynucleotide treatment (skin boosters). I had 3 treatments (polynucleotides injected into the skin) one month apart. Everything about my experience was professional and friendly. The surgery/clinic was comfortable, clean and bright and easy to get to. Laura was so kind and she made every effort to reassure and relax me throughout the treatment. I would recommend Laura and Bethcar to anyone looking for aesthetic treatments.

Fantastic experience: 5*s isn't high enough rating really. The staff at Bethcar Dental are all superb, receptionists are always pleasant and greet you with a smile and as for the dentists I cannot praise them enough for the work they do. Being a nervous patient and suffering with anxiety all the staff ensure I am treated with care. Laura has been my dentist for many years now and she is always switched on to my condition and is always gentle and explains everything to me so I am calmer during the appointment. Laura's assistant is also superb, shows a great deal of care when I an being treated . I recently had appointment with Rhys and also cannot praise him and his assistant enough for the manner I which i was treated. I am always greeted with a smile and a little light conversation before treatment starts which helps calm me greatly . As I said 5 stars isn't high enough, superb dentist superb care couldn't ask for more

Fantastic experience: Just joined the practice. From the first visit I have been made welcome by all the staff who are all very friendly and professional. During a long procedure both Rhys and Cerys both made sure I was ok during the time I was in the chair and talked me through the steps of how the appointment would go. Negative experience: A reflection of the ownership of the practice, not the staff. After 34 years of being with the practice, I found out they changed to solely private two months ago (the wrong address was provided to the healthboard, so I wasn't notified, also they just didn't tell me when I phoned one month ago). It's a really disappointing decision to go down the solely private route, especially in an area of severe deprivation. It's also frustrating that after such a long time the practice didn't inform of this decision directly or in advance. Still, over the years I've had great service from the practice, so the staff I've encountered have almost all been fantastic. REPLY TO Comment for Bethcar (which seems to have now been deleted): I can't reply to the comment. No, I have lived in the same address for around four and a half years. Yes, 21 October is when I booked my appointment for December, so it has taken over a month for anyone to advise that I won't be having that appointment as you're no longer my dentist.

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for great orthodontic treatments (teeth aligners like Invisalign) then come here! This was the second Dentist surgery I had been to for teeth aligners, and by far the best! There was no hidden fees on my treatment and the staff are so nice! Laura W is amazing at what she does and has made me feel comfortable every time I've visited! Her and the team have boosted my confidence and I'm so glad I found this Dentist practice! I have recently had some extensive work carried out by my Dentist (Laura Wedge) and I cannot fault my experience in any way. Fantastic experience: I've had really great care from Rhys, I had to have my crown replaced, it looks amazing, couldn't even tell it was a crown , knocks spots off the work done be a different dentist. I've also had some cosmetic work with Laura, the results are so natural and last ages too, I'm guessing it's a really good quality product, along with her knowledge!

Negative experience: Only concerned about their pockets and not their patients. Going completely private and expecting their clients to pay every month and then pay on top again for any further treatment they require which is almost double the price compared to an NHS dentist. In such a deprived area they are asking for more all the time. Complete joke of a practise!

Fantastic experience: I have recently had some cosmetic work carried out by Dr Tayla Baker. The results are amazing and ave exceeded all my expectations! I am over the moon with my new smile and couldn't recommend highly enough. From my very first consultation, right up until the work was finished, i knew i was i was in safe hands. Dr Tayla Baker explained everything to me and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my new smile! When i visited the practice, I found all staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Negative experience: This practice is due to go exclusively private as of September 2022. Until then they are supposed to honour their NHS contract. They are not. Having requested an appointment due to tooth ache, they then commenced treatment, under NHS charges and having drilled a hole in my tooth proceeded to inform me that they would only complete the treatment under their private subscription schemes, completely in breach of their contract and also assurances they had given in their letter to all patients informing them of their impending changes. This practice is attempting to coerce people like myself into a very expensive and unaffordable contract without any due care or consideration. They appear to have only fiscal issues at the forefront. Essentially they attempted to make a £47 NHS filling into nearly £1000.00 of private treatment. I will not be subscribing to their expensive plans and will wait for the Local Health Board to arrange another dentist for me, which I have been assured by the LHB, will be done in September.

Negative experience: Have used this dentist since I was born. Always looked after by Deb & co. I rang this week due to an issue and was told I was struck off for failing to turn up for an appointment ( that I didn’t know about ). Even if I did there was no call to inform me. That’s not the reason anyway it’s due to them getting rid of NHS patients, again without notification. Asked to speak to Deb who runs the front desk but told she was busy and it’s happening to everyone. Very disappointed. Only want to here from me if I pay £20 per month privately.

Fantastic experience: I have had dental care with this practice since the 1970's. Their attention and treatment during my time with their various dentists has been excellent. I was a dental patient of Mr. Wilkins for many years until his retirement. Since then my main dentist has been Miss Laura Wedge whose patience and treatment during my visits has been first class. I am particularly pleased with recent work she has done on my bottom teeth. After forty, or so years, experience with members of this 'Dental Practice' I have no problem with giving them 5 stars.

Negative experience: Been going to this practice for years without any problems , paid for a 1HR long appointment with the hygienist which never happened due to the 1st COVID lockdown . Even though my wife had the same happen to her she got an appointment to go back and get the work done , I didn't get the same so phoned up and finally got an appointment , however due to a family issue I forgot the appointment and they immediately took me off their NHS list .. I've ve going to this practice for years and have never missed an appointment before but they didn't care about that , very very disappointed. Not able to reply to the below response but you did not let me know the day before it was 3 days earlier on the Friday actually .
