Fantastic experience: Just had my composite edge bonding done with Synergy on a few teeth I wasn’t happy with. I was treated by Dr Karimi who took the time to explain everything to me and made me feel very comfortable despite me having a fear of going to the dentist. Fantastic experience: Had veneers with Dr Salim and am so happy with them. Dr Salim is so nice. From the first consultation he explained everything to me and listened to my concerns and made me feel at ease. Negative experience: This dental practive have no respect for patient's time. If i could leave a 0 star review, I would. I would understand if they make you wait over your appointment time by 5 or even 10 minutes, but making you wait 25+ minutes over your appointment time is ridiculous, unprofessional and disrespectful. This is not even a 1 off occurrence. It happens every time i come.

Fantastic experience: I first visited as an emergency patient and to have a tooth extraction, the dentist then advised me to have a full check up as i hadn't seen a dentist in years, tbh i wouldn't have rebooked if ayoola hadn't been very professional and helpful with information about dental hygiene and recommendations to help my gums (gum disease being why i had to have the extraction). Everyone at the surgery has been nothing but professional and helpful during my visits and i have been kept up-to-date via email or text about my appointments, i even recommended the surgery to my daughter's housemate and she is now on the books

Negative experience: I was a patient of Mr Mirza and I have seen him for many years from being a young girl to well into my adult life, I then followed Mr Mirza to the new practice and I have attended on a number of occasions choosing to stay with the practice even though Mr Mirza retired a while ago. Every time I have attended I have had a scale and polish alongside my examination. However on my most recent visit I was not offered a scale and polish and when I asked I was told it’s now private if I want my stains removed, I challenged this advising that I have never been advised this before and every time I attend I have a scale and polish, the gentleman who I saw then advised me it’s not necessary as there is no clinical reason for this even though the brown stains are visible and easily removed with the scale and polish so once again I told him I have stains on my bottom teeth from drinking black tea and he repeated it’s private and now an extra charge. I am a NHS paying patient and given the cost of living crisis I think it is outrageous that you are now charging for a service that has been included in my treatment for many years. I left feeling that I was not listened to and rushed through my appointment, I am also left thinking that the new practice is now all about how much money you can make rather than caring for your patients and providing them with the same level of care that they have had for many years. I am extremely disappointed and I am even considering looking for another practice.

Fantastic experience: I recently paid a visit at Synergy Dental Oldham for a check up. This is the second time I have been seen by this lady dentist. She's an amazing young woman and is brilliant at her job. I've never experienced dentist professionalism like her's before. She's polite, well spoken and shows genuine care towards her patient's teeth. She's also good at explaining step by step procedure during the treatment. Which is helpful to know and keeps you informed. I've enjoyed my couple of visits with her, and have spoken highly of her with my family and friends.

Negative experience: Hi i was looking for this opportunity to say my part , very rude , no respect wht so ever from the dentist thy gave me yesterday, I didn't choose her I hope I never see her again ,she told me it was a decaying tooth she numb all the side of my face ,inside of my mouth its still swollen, im still in pain ,over numbing my mouth and jaw line , I couldn't feel any thi g until 8 o'clock at night ,I was hoping to speak to one of ur mangers , please let me have my say thankyou Musarit habib

Fantastic experience: In August 2023, I began Invisalign treatment at Synergy Dental to correct my severely impacted upper canine teeth. Being self-conscious about my teeth has always affected my confidence. Throughout the treatment, I had several Invisalign reviews, each leading to additional treatment plans. This process was sometimes lengthy because Dr. Mateen wasn't satisfied with Invisalign's proposed plans. At my last review, despite significant progress, Dr. Mateen noted that my teeth were proving difficult to move further and wasn't confident the canines would improve more. He offered the choice of continuing with Invisalign or opting for composite bonding. I was hesitant about the composite option since it only involved six teeth, and I didn't want them to look mismatched. However, Dr. Mateen assured me that I wouldn't leave until I was completely satisfied with the appearance. At my appointment, Dr. Mateen did an amazing job, perfectly matching the composite to my other teeth in size, shape, and color. I’m incredibly pleased with the results and grateful to Dr. Mateen for his recommendations and excellent work!

Fantastic experience: The dentist showed great care and consideration for my 14-year-old daughter, always putting her health and wellbeing at the forefront of her treatment. As a Type 1 diabetic, she was very anxious, but the dentist’s thoughtful and supportive approach made her feel reassured and comfortable throughout.

Fantastic experience: Very good dental surgery with excellent dentist. Lots of additional treatments available and packages for these. Only down side is the steep stairs, to one of the treatment rooms other than that everything is great. Very efficient and effective online booking system too.

The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, and Dr. Bode took the time to clearly explain my treatment plan and gave me useful advice for my dental care. I truly appreciate their patience, especially as English is not my first language.

Negative experience: Rude staff and not understanding my situation. I had to miss a dentist appointment due to emergency, so I can’t ring them there and then. I rang 2 hours after and they blacklisted me. Staff is using very rude tone of voice. They rang on monday and asked me to come on Wednesday or Thursday, which is barely any notice, and initially said if i miss the appointment i will be on the very back of the list, but then now they just blacklisted me?

Negative experience: all they tell is lies carnt get fixed quote as none know the prices for anything avoid

Negative experience: Personally not happy with the trainee dental nurse she had no idea what she as doing at all and was being told and explained everything in bold. The dentist had to leave my mouth open and explain to her what to write down which was appalling.

Positive experience: Was very promot service this time round and dentist was friendly, excellent customer service from the staff at reception.

Negative experience: Unhappy, been in pain for 11 days and still in pain, went in for a filling which they ended up going in too deep , it cost my nerve to start dying, went in again to ask why I was I pain, told to wait or can have tooth removed. I didn’t want to lose my tooth, then told to either have a root canal by another specialist for tooth, added costs. I already spent over 170, in the end i had to have it removed due to unbearable pain. Left with a big hole and bad taste in my mouth from the whole experience and 2 weeks of suffering! They should have advised me to remove from it from the beginning and I wouldn’t have had to suffer! Also when I asked about reimbursement of failed treatment, I was told u signed the consent forms you knew the risks. I consented to treatment yes, but not to careless treatment!

Negative experience: I have had my appointment cancelled over 5 times. The implantologist is sick. And it is cancelled on the morning of the appointment. So you are stuck with time as I have to cancel work to make the appointments. There should be a money back for this inconvenience

Fantastic experience: Was recommended synergy dentist, Oldham union street went in to get a tooth filling and examination, the receptionist girls were very welcoming and the dentist Mr Saleem who sorted out my dental issue was very good and advised as to what he would be doing and made sure I was ok and comfortable through out the procedure, a very good dentist , I would only recommend 1 thing from the dentist that there should be customer toilets available as there are none , as there was a patient in the waiting room who needed the toilets but had to leave. Apart from that it was great ,thanks Dr saleem

Fantastic experience: I came to this dentist for a deep clean prior to starting my Invisalign. I have always been scared of going to the dentist, however I had the best experience I could have had. Salim talked me through everything he was doing and gave me some advice on how to maintain healthy gums and teeth afterwards. He took time and care making my experience amazing. Toni who was assisting him also made sure I was comfortable and relaxed during my treatment, and kept talking to me taking my mind off what was going on. They also have a TV on the wall as a distraction which really helped. Could not recommend this dentist enough!

Today was the big day when I’ve had my permanent teeth fixed after living for 6 months with my temps ( I have to admit I felt absolutely fine , ate anything I wanted , smiled more and get compliments for my beautiful and perfect smile ). I cannot recommend them enough , Dr Wasif , Jonty , Tony and the whole team are absolutely fantastic. The whole process from the start until now has been painless and easy , going from fear of dentists to looking forward for my next visit must mean something, right?! Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment here today and can honestly say it’s the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I saw a dentist called Mahesh and he was absolutely amazing. I explained to him my worries and concerns and that my teeth are in a bad way because of mental health. He was very compassionate and made me feel so comfortable and explained everything in detail so I’d understand. He answered any questions I had thoroughly and constantly checked up on me throughout the procedure. His assistant was also so so so amazing, unfortunately I didn’t catch her name but I really appreciated her kindness and supportive behaviour throughout my treatment. She let me hold her hand as I got my teeth cleaned and checked up on me every time I seemed to be uncomfortable. She was so lovely and I’m so thankful to the both of them. I now have teeth to be proud of all thanks to them and for once I’m not nervous to go back to the dentist. Thank you for all your help and support!

Emma at the front desk is super helpful and really helped with getting me my appointment within the dates I required. Dr Mateen has done an outstanding job on my smile transformation. Dr Mateen Ahmad, who I was fortunate enough to see was excellent throughout the entire process, giving me a thorough explanation of each step of my consultation and checkup.
