Fantastic experience: Very friendly and helpful staff

Fantastic experience: Love Claremont practice, the dentists and hygienists are all excellent. I broke my tooth just after Christmas and they were able to arrange an emergency appointment to fix it. The admin is well managed with regular appointment reminders. The best thing of all is that they take NHS appointments. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: Don’t normally do this sort of thing - let alone for a trip to the dentist - but wanted to sing the praises for my hygienist Lucia today. Great job - and without the usual discomfort. Won’t go as far as saying I look forward to my next visit - but I know it’ll be fine with this hygienist.

I have never had a better hygenist, I don't think one exists, and Lucia is not only really skilled in providing treatment - very accurate, gentle, effective, thorough and takes time to give me information on what she is doing - she is also so friendly and lovely as a person. Negative experience: Very bad experience booking an appointment by Lamia, impolite and disrespectful to her customers. I normally get a very good experience by Molly her colleague. I advice to not book appointments through Lamia!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this clinic since 2016 and I am very happy with their services. The receptionists are so lovely and always going above and beyond. The hygienists and dentists are always very professional and reassuring. I moved quite far away from the practice but as I am very happy with them I am not looking to go anywhere else. The practice is located in St Margaret’s which is very easy to access by public transport. I definitely recommend the practice!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Claremont Dental Practice for the past three years or so and I highly recommend the friendly team of professional who have been following me throughout my treatment. I have met with a dentist, have regular visits to Aafrin Saleem, one of the hygienist and I am also receiving treatments from Dr Lanre Onabolu, the periodontist. I have left St Margarets to live in Crouch End but I have chosen to continue visiting Claremont Dental Practice as I am extremely satisfied with my experience there.

Fantastic experience: I had a hygienist appointment at Claremont Dental Practise with Sabina and was extremely satisfied! She made me feel at ease from the beginning of the appointment and was clear and open with what would be the best dental plan for me moving forward. As my dental work needed a longer time and would extend my appointment time, Sabina volunteered to stay for an hour to complete my work in 1 sitting. I am highly impressed with her professionalism and patient centred behaviour! Aside from this, my teeth look significantly better and this is in just1 sitting! I would highly recommend Claremont Dental Practise St Margaret's for anyone looking for a comfortable, thorough and gratifying dental experience!

Negative experience: I am only giving this prratice two stars for several reasons. First the positive: they are one of the few practices in the area that still treats NHS patients if you have been one there for several years, although they don't take new ones like so many dental practices. I always manage to see a dentist albeit never the same one. The Hygienist treatment is fine. I had an issue some years ago with a Dentist there who is now of of the partners, Mr Puri, I was seeing him on the NHS and needed root canal treatment, which I was told wasn't available on the NHS. I paid the private fee and a couple of years later I found out that it was! I asked for refund and got it. It is now clearly mentioned in the NHS dentist room in the practice what is available o the HNS and the cost. I was appalled recently to see a notice in reception asking customer for a 5* review on Google in exchange for a free entry in as prize draw to win a teeth whitening kit at home worth £400!! It shouldn't be legal to bribe customers in this way for a good review, really shocking!

Fantastic experience: Having lived overseas for a number of years I was nervous about returning to the UK and finding a new dentist I could trust. I had once visited Claremont Dental many years ago for an emergency appointment and had been very impressed with Kirit Johal and the treatment he provided and so I thought I would register with him. Claremont has a fantastic and friendly team. The front of house staff are all efficient and professional and Diana, my regular hygienist is outstanding and has really helped me look after my teeth. Having been going there for three years now, I finally had to have some treatment a couple of weeks ago. I was quite daunted about having root canal treatment and two crowns fitted during a pandemic but Kirit made me feel safe, comfortable and completely at ease. He is not just an excellent dentist but an honest and genuine man who clearly cares about his patients and their well-being. I would recommend Claremont Dental Practice and in particular Kirit Johal to anyone looking for a dentist they can trust.

Fantastic experience: This is a brilliant practice. For the first time have been treated as a grown up and not told off. Warm, friendly manner and a dentist I can trust

Fantastic experience: I returned from holiday last Tuesday (18th August) with a toothache that had been bulding for a couple of days beforehand. By Thursday, I could no longer stand the pain and tenderness so rang the practice. Bearing in mind the current situation with Covid-19, I was told it could be difficult to arrange an 'emergency' appointment, but Dr Puri would ring me back. He duly did and I was fitted in later that afternoon. The Practice got in touch a short time afterwards to tell me that there had been a cancellation and I could be fitted in earlier in the afternoon. Transpired that the nerve was dying in the problem tooth and that the pain was likely coming from a build-up of poison. An hour later, I had a root canal treatment started and 24 hours later, all the discomfort had gone. All professionally done from start to finish (including a change of 'costume' in between for drilling purposes !).

Fantastic experience: Great experience at the hygienist. The team were brilliant from booking to the actual appointment. I felt comfortable and confident and safe under the current climate. I even took my daughter to her pre school check up.

Fantastic experience: Since early July, I have made five visits to Claremont Dental Practice to sort out problems that arose during lock-down. I have always felt perfectly safe. The systems put in place for patient and staff safety are outstanding. As always the Dentist and support staff are totally professional and efficient, carrying out treatments as painlessly and as swiftly as possible. I would urge anyone worried about going to the dentist at the moment to try this helpful and friendly Practice.

Post lock-down the covid protocols and cleaning in place gave me confidence to attend for a check up with Dr Puri and hygienist appointment with Helen. Excellent service as usual and friendly and professional front of house staff.

The procedures are very clear and there was no waiting so I didn't see another client. Sanitiser is available and PPE is being used. Reception has a screen for protection. A good one way system for entry and exit is also being practiced. I felt confident clients and staff are being protected. Thanks for the service. See you in 6 months.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to the Claremont practice for a couple of years and would recommend the practice to anyone - I bring my kids here and my father had excellent emergency care when he was visiting. The Covid situation is clearly a big issue for all dentists, but the Claremont practice has a clear plan to mitigate risks and I felt very reassured.

Kirit Johal and his team at Claremont DP were very welcoming and non-judgemental when I arrived. He put together a plan to get me back to "dental fitness" which I have now done. Fantastic experience: Having been with the Claremont Dental Practice for 27 years, looked after by the same dentist Dr R J Telfer for all that I was surprised to learn that he was giving up dentistry. As for the last 17 years I have travelled to the surgery from out of the area, having moved house, I continued with Claremont principally because of Rob has he was an excellent dentist. So his decision to pack up dentistry decided me that the time was ripe for me to mov e on, so I have left the practice. I must not forget the similarly excellent hygienist Miss Esti Mayans who has looked after my dental hygiene for many years and is still at the practice. So all in all my experience with the Claremont has been nothing but positive. All that I had against it was the distance I had to travel. If I were still living in the area it is highly like I would have continued with the Claremont even with the departure of Rob Telfer.
