Fantastic experience: I've been receiving treatment from a new dentist named Dr Tasneem Paterson and she is absolutely wonderful. She put me at ease, she talks things through step by step and she really alleviated my fears when I was feeling anxious about certain parts of the treatment. A real asset to the team!

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Sean Ronaghyon for years and always received the best care - he has extremely high standards, keeps up to date with dental developments and genuinely cares for his patients. I recently fractured the root of my front tooth which required a bone graft and implant and was supported continuously through the process by Sean and his dental nurse, Parisa. This included coming in during the Christmas holidays to check it was all going to plan. I am delighted with the results and couldn’t thank them enough!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this clinic for some years now. Recently I had two implants fitted by Sean after a rear tooth infection caused me lose two back teeth. The treatment I received was first class and I would not hesitate to recommend Sean. His attention to detail and care of the patient is hard to beat and the new implants are great. I have also received treatment from Majid over the years for more regular dental work (fillings/crowns etc) and his work is at the same high standard. I'd recommend both dentists very highly.

Fantastic experience: My experience and treatment at this dental practice has been exemplary. I have had treatments with John Minot and later referred to Sean Ronaghyon for his expertise on implants. I have felt very confident with both dentists. The implant care needed extra procedures. Sean explained process and his knowledge and skills were obvious. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Sean’s for over 20 years and my recent treatment 2 implants really showcased his skills. Unfortunately due to the need for a bone transplant in the jaw it has been a rather a long process. Finally the implants are in and I am very pleased with them. I have always found Sean to be easily approachable and he does not hide behind a cold professional facade when talking to you. Sean’s with his nurse Parisa are a great team and I am very grateful for their care.

Negative experience: Your reply is inaccurate, I wasn’t told I would need further care, I was told that after the initial appointment when I came in the Dr would assess and see if I needed a filling or root canal depending on the state of the pulp. The Dr decided to go with filling so I assume he was making the professional decision. Obviously for him to do the filling there was currently no abscess otherwise he would have needed to wait until it had gone. So after the Dr deciding to do the filling instead of root canal I thought I was in safe hands. Agonising pain starting 3 days later is not what I expected. So upon returning it’s your duty of care to make sure im not in pain after the treatment you decided on giving me. So the fact that I was with the Dr for less than a minute and happy to charge £45 for that is ridiculous. And the fact that you would not offer a root canal less the filling fee is a joke, your Dr decided to do the filling which wasn’t the needed treatment. The root canal was. The fact that you guys can benefit financially off of my pain and your wrong decision is definitely not right . And once my pain dies down , I will be looking into speaking with the DCS.

Negative experience: Went here privately with a Cavity needed to be filled, paid £57 for an appointment and X-ray one side , then £250 for a filling, few days later excruciating pain, unable to eat and sleep or even rest my teeth normally . Went again a week later to find out what went wrong with the filling. Waited to see Dr Majid. Checked my tooth says there must be an abscess and gave antibiotics, 20 seconds in the chair, waiting for prescription to be stamped , £45 please ?? I said what ? They said for emergency appointment. That apparently I didn’t need due to the filling ?? This should have been complimentary remedial care. Absolute robbers and ridiculous. £350 later feel worse than before I went . Thansk HB Dental for everything . AVOID

I am a nervous patient and the dentist is not my favourite place. The receptionists are so friendly, they call back as promised and have made me feel cared for. I am trying to fit appointments around work as I am a teacher and do not want to take time away from class once school restarts and they have done their utmost to assist me with this. The dentist whom as yet I have only met once was also fantastic. I feel very safe in their hands and for this I am truly grateful. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I have been with High Barnet Dental Care for over 25 years. During this time Antigoni has been my dentist. She was very gentle, friendly and professional. What ever the procedures she did it was very thorough and cannot fault on anything. Recently I decided to have implants and was referred to Sean. Sean explained everything in detail and also allowed me plenty of time for my final decision. I am very happy with my decision to go ahead and the work he with the help from Parisi has done so far. Thank you very much Sean and Parisi. Well worth it. I would recommend any day without doubt.

Fantastic experience: Wholeheartedly recommend the whole team. On this occasion my mum was the patient and she saw a different dentist than the one I usually go to, but the work and care provided was top notch. I have recommended them to friends and family. My husband and I have been with the practice for about 10 years now, and we've never had any issues. The fact that they still see patients on the NHS is a plus (longer waiting time for NHS than private appointments, but that's to be expected)

I have always been grateful with how much of a difference has been made for me and the treatment I have been given. Dr. Saeed has always had a lot of patience. Intellectual yet personable. Calm and always very thorough. Second to none. He seems to serve the community as his highest priority- something he does exceedingly well. I feel the dentists are trying to maintain perfection as a standard for every procedure and one can often see the level of consideration, exertion and extensive work that is put in. The dental assistant gives the best treatment I’ve had and the receptionists are efficient but also sincerely uplifting and polite. I could have registered with many practices in the North London area but I am glad I was lucky enough to chance upon this one.

Previous dentist said it would need to be replaced with a denture. 12 years later straightened tooth is still in place.

For all the years that I have been alive, I have had some serious dentistry work done and therefore visited many dentists and have experience with dentists at all levels due to some work that I once did. The treatment has been consistent, effective and I have always been treated with the respect that I witnessed high fee paying clients being given in Harley Street. I have always been given the full information about a dental situation so that I can make informed decisions about what treatment plan that I would like to follow. Dental work that is not in view has been highly effective and still in place after many years. I am now moving into the area of cosmetic dentistry and have so far been delighted with the results. I feel very lucky that I found High Barnet Dental Care as I have always felt cared about whilst being treated with the utmost professionalism and skillful dentistry.

I became a patient of HB dental approximately 10 years ago and can honestly say that it was the best decision I have ever made. At that time, my teeth were very poor to say the least and I never smiled in photos through embarrassment. Over the past decade I have been under the wonderful care of my dentist Antigoni Kalyva. Throughout the years she has gently eased me through a pathway to a massive improvement in my dental and gum health and more recently, in a refreshing and collaborative approach (without any hard sell or pressure whatsoever), I opted for some relatively minor cosmetic dentistry which has really changed my life all together. Antigoni is an utter joy to deal with and so talented at what she does. I now go around smiling full of confidence all of the time! I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending HB Dental practice for over 17 years. In this time there have been numerous challenges and extremely difficult procedures completed. Dr Antigoni is an angel in disguise. She has always gone above and beyond what one would reasonably expect from a dental practitioner. This includes writing numerous letters to Eastman dental clinic, providing me with mouth guards, dentures etc. In all these years I have been treated gently and with kindness and, contrary to the usual fear of going to the dentist, I look forward to going. In fact, I feel like I'm part of the family, I should also mention the reception team who are, again, warm and efficient in their dealings with me. In particular, Gosia who has been there over 14 years. I wish I could give the practice more than 5 stars but hopefully I have conveyed how amazing HB Dental has been and continues to be in looking after my dental and mental health. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to High Barnet Dental Care with my family for nearly 20 years and we have always been seen by Dr Sean Ronaghyon. I can honestly say Dr Ronaghyon can work miracles. He is just phenomenal and his knowledge, skills and reassurance, make a visit to the dentist that less painful. Together with Paris, who is probably the most considerate & glamorous dental nurse I’ve ever met, they are this incredible duo. The dental room is immaculately clean and hygienic and you are always made to feel welcome. Walking through those white doors from the high street, you are instantly greeted by the wonderful Gosia at reception or by another friendly member of the team. This dental practice is also child friendly as both my children have been coming here since their first tooth appeared many years ago, my son (now 19 years old) and daughter (now 15 years old). I genuinely can not fault this practice as an NHS patient and a private patient. A huge thank you to Dr Sean Ronaghyon for our healthy smiles!

Fantastic experience: Best Dentist in the world, I honestly, am so proud to have such a wonderful Dentist.

Negative experience: Quick to take private patients, NHS patients don't matter. I had 2 appointments for a filling cancelled by the dental surgery, hat tooth has now snapped in half and cannot be saved. Then to really put the nail in the coffin, I receive a letter stating that I didn't show up to an appointment (one that I wasn't even aware of, and they cannot say I wasn't told as every other appointment I have ever had I recieve reminder emails in the lead up, for which there was none for this 'supposed' appointment). So because I haven't shown up for an 'appointment' and didn't give 24 hours notic I've been removed as an NHS patient! The whole process is a ploy to get rid of NHS patients and just think about lining their own pockets, never mind the people that actually work full time and genuinely struggle to pay any private fees and can only afford the NHS prices.

Fantastic experience: Despite living 40 mins away, I was recommended this practice and had my teeth whitened with superb results. Very happy patient.

Negative experience: Been to the dentist to get a root canal it fell out with a week then had to get a replacement. Went to get a crown fitted and was told to wait 4 weeks in between getting the mould done and the fitting. The temporary filling fell out twice and the dentist still told me to wait a further week with a hole in my mouth cos the dentist is only available Monday and Friday. And because I am NHS there’s nothing I can do that’s just how it is. It doesn’t matter if you have a holiday booked because you need us, you have to do it by our rules

Negative experience: Dentist was quite abrupt. Not very good with children. Tried to persuade me to have treatment that i didn't need. My mum was charged twice for the same course of treatment, misinforming her of the charges. I would avoid at all costs.

Positive experience: Although I had to wait a couple of weeks for their first available appointment, the care was exemplary. Findings well explained, evidence on treatments cited. A very good dental practice - would highly recommend.
