Had an extraction today and it was completely painless and so fast, the skill level is unbelievable. Prices are extremely reasonable and there actually are no hidden costs, Actually looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic experience: I’m absolutely terrified of the dentist, the same way some people are scared of spiders. I walked into an emergency appointment in floods of tears and sweaty palms. I was treated by Zane and as soon as he saw me he knew I had a big fear. With kindness and a genuine care, he got me to calm down and relax a bit. I wasn’t rushed, it was all at my own pace. I was embarrassed about the state of my teeth but Zane wasn’t judgy and he said to forget about everything else for now and let’s just get the pain sorted for today. With minimal fuss or invasion, Zane diagnosed an infection in my partially erupted wisdom tooth and prescribed a course of antibiotics. I went back a week later to check on it and the infection had cleared. Because of Zane’s compassion and relaxed demeanour, I’ve now joined their dental plan and will be going back in a week for a full check up and a treatment plan. This is nothing short of a miracle. Zane has taken my lifelong fear and made it more manageable… I’m still scared, but I feel safe and respected and I’m ready to face it head on - Thank you, Zane and Team.

Fantastic experience: I am having quite a lot of treatment done, and have had bad experiences with dentists in the past. I can certainly recommend 128 as they made me feel relaxed and calm. Zane who is carrying out my treatment is such a perfectionist, all the way through the treatment he made me feel calm and explained exactly what he was doing and understood my anxiety, I recommend this practice 100% I wouldn't go anywhere else and certainly recommend them. Positive experience: I started with sudden severe tooth pain on Monday, and since my regular dentist is not local, I contacted this practice for an emergency appointment Monday night. They booked me an appointment for Wednesday despite putting an urgent message through for an emergency appointment. When I booked the appointment, I was advised the appointment would include treatment to relieve the pain. My pain felt nerve related, so I knew it would need possible root canal. The dentist was running late, I understand this was out of their control. I was seen by a pleasant dentist, who advised £700, plus the already £75 I had paid for the emergency appointment. I declined the treatment, left with pain despite being promised the appointment would include treatment to relieve the pain. Contacted NHS 111, they kindly booked me for an emergency dentist straight away, didn’t have to wait. The whole consult, examination and initial start to root canal treatment all came to £28. She kindly started the initial root canal treatment to relieve the pain which definitely has settled now, until I can see my regular dentist to complete stage 2 of the treatment. After speaking to a few of my dental friends and family, if you’re booking in as an emergency appointment, then the start of a root canal treatment should be included as part of the emergency treatment, and not a separate fee. As this defeats the whole purpose of an emergency appointment. Anyhow, as a GP I am very grateful for the NHS.

Fantastic experience: Im normally super scared of going to dentist, but after my experience in this clinic Im not scared anymore, doctor Dan was very supportive, caring and professional, I knew I could ask to have a little break anytime I need it, Im very happy with the job he done, also ladies at the reception always very friendly and professional. The reception staff were really lovely, they took care of me and were so so kind. The dentist was fantastic, also extremely caring, explained everything clearly and did all he could to help me and put me at ease. For someone in such a vulnerable position as I was, this team were absolutely the best. I am forever grateful to them, and won't forget how kind they were. It really meant a lot to me. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Dr Bilal who restores my smile. I had a dentist appointment in Bangkok Thailand a year before and the filling is a bit high, causing pain to my teeth when eating. Dr Bilal treats me and polish the fillings for me which I feel much better afterwards. Hygienist Rosh helps clean my teeth with airflow tech, which brightens my smile by making my teeth look white. Thanks to her recommendation. Erin, as the receptionist, is super nice and kind.

Negative experience: Receive messages to cancel the appointment, ring to make a new and then constantly get missed calls about the already cancelled appointment, to then be hung up on. Another appointment, I was waiting 40 minutes to be told the clinic had closed, while I was sat in the waiting room. Won't be going back

Negative experience: I am not happy with this dentist. Been waiting since May for a filling. I went to the appointment in May the hygienist said to me I am not sure what you are booked in for I will ask the dentist, so another appointment was arranged for the dentist to do the filling. I turned up a couple of weeks later to have the filling. To be then told by the dentist they can not do the filling. I have now been advised that the tooth now needs to be removed. I am still waiting.

I was put at ease from the moment I stepped through the door. After my routine examination, everything was explained to me from my X-ray results right down to the best way to keep my teeth healthy & strong. Amazing people & im glad I found them.

Fantastic experience: I visited 128 Dental for orthodontic treatment. As part of my treatment, I needed fixed braces. From the first visit, the service provided by Dr Mahmood was exemplary. He and the rest of the team were extremely welcoming and put my concerns to ease. The treatment plan was detailed and clear. The price was very competitive and I can see why the practice is so recommended. Fantastic experience: I do not write much reviews but had to this time for the entire experience.I had excruciating dental pain for a couple of days when I had to book an appointment with 128 dental on emergency basis. The entire team was very helpful and supportive. I got my tooth extracted with minimal pain possible and everything was very smooth and easy. Dr.Rashid is one of the best doctors I met - friendly,great advice and excellent care. Fantastic experience: Definitely the best dentist around got an emergency appointment the same day for a tooth extraction was quite nervous The dentist and assistant were friendly and polite they fully explained what is involved with the procedure they carry out, didn’t feel a thing throughout the whole procedure. Fantastic experience: Amazing experience, so professional and reassuring. I have suffered with a phobia of needles and avoided the dentist for years resulting in a serious infection. I was nurtured through the process and made to feel at ease at all times. The staff are great and before I knew it the treatment was completed and all the pain is gone. Just ring up and ask to speak with Dr Afaq or Dr Jawad and they will take care of the rest no matter how big or small your concern is. They even work on Saturday's, not all hero's wear capes just scrubs.

Fantastic experience: Atirah Javed is dentist to my teenage boys and myself. She is calming, informative and thorough. I find her courteous and polite to her fellow colleagues. It is nice that Atirah remembers your face and makes conversation to put you at ease. I almost look forward to attending dental appointments!

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely petrified of going to the dentist and unfortunately I need several fillings and teeth/gums cleaning. I attended today to commence my treatment. The receptionist Jessie did speak with me the day before my appointment and she certainly helped with my anxiety. I had two fillings and teeth cleaned today and although still remain anxious about going to the dentist, I have to say the therapist Rishi and the new dental nurse were fantastic with me. Rishi spent time explaining everything to me and was so patient. Thank you to Jessie, Rishi and the dental nurse (sorry couldn't remember your name)

Negative experience: I am surprised about these positive reviews. No transparency with the pricing; the receptionist could not provide the price of white or amalgam fillings and stated that the dentist would give me the right cost at my check-up appointment. Even after a check-up with the dentist, I still did not receive the price per tooth (shocking). What I was provided with was only a very expensive estimated fee. Therefore, uncertainty on the actual cost for the treatment, so too dangerous to commit myself, and I lost £45 for the check-up. Need to find another dentist with fixed prices per tooth as it is supposed to be. Additionally, the receptionist wanted me to sign up for this expensive treatment plan of estimated cost. Too dangerous to sign up since the price can be even higher than that. Not recommended. Disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I would like to give 181 dental a huge 5 star! I’m 42 years old and had been at the same dentist for 25 years as have my husband and two children! However sadly I started to suffer with server Anxiety a good few years back and became very scared of going to my dentist everything was always so painful from a deep clean with the Hygienist to fillings ect so I stoped going and I was then after time taken of there of there books. A friend of mine who is a dental nurse told me about this practice and said I would be in good hands! She wasn’t wrong from my first appointment I told my dentist how nervous I was and the whole team Made me so welcome and kept me at ease the whole experience was completely different extremely professional and friendly! For the first time in my life I completed my deep clean with zero pain I explained to Rossini and milly the Hygienist and her amazing assistant how scared I was and nothing was enough trouble the whole experience again was pain free conpleatly pain free thanks so so much lady’s I couldn’t wait to book my next appointment! So yes masif 5 star guys Thankyou for all being so wounder full extremely professional and most of all for being so very understanding and dealing with me with such Compassion look forward to our next visit xx

Fantastic experience: I went to Dental care and throughout the whole process every appointment has been a pleasure to be there which has turned me around the way I view going to the dentist. Was made to feel at ease with the the dental nurse and the dentist there amazing dead warming, reassuring and during the whole process explain clearly what they are doing and why. I’ve also had some very invasive treatment due to a illness these 2 wonderful human beings have always remembered little details and continued to ask me how I am. The whole dental practice has had a whole turn around keep going team recommend with 10 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: I was unable to find a NHS dentist after my own dentist closed down . I was recommended this dentist through a friend. I can only be a private patient and I am on there NHS waiting list. But this practice, is very convenient, with parking. It’s clean, the staff are very friendly and the Dentists puts you at ease and are very thorough. Having had a previous experience elsewhere on the NHS where you were only 3 mins in the chair. Here, they took there time with you.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a wisdom tooth out and was really nervous (actually terrified) but the procedure was explained thoroughly beforehand, the dentist checked I was happy to proceed, the dental nurse was also very reassuring and the whole thing was done and dusted in under 10 minutes. I was so relieved! No pain, no tears, just 1 very happy customer. Everyone who works here is welcoming, professional and they go out of their way to help, advise and support. I'm (almost) looking forward to my next visit!

Leah the receptionist is very efficient and also down to earth and friendly putting people at ease from the moment they walk into The Surgery. Arfaq, my Dentist is efficient and friendly. I really felt at ease and had complete trust in him.. I have had to have a lot of work done recently. He took the time to explain the procedures and that made my feel relaxed and confident that I was in the best 'hands' .

Fantastic experience: I've recently had my teeth whitened and 6 crowns on my top front teeth. The service from Afaq was spot on right from the start to the finish. He explained everything step by step and he constantly made sure I was ok whilst in the chair. I would definately recommend. Fantastic experience: Had work done today by Afaq and his assistant Bryony, which was preparing a tooth for a veneer in a couple of weeks and I have to say that the work carried out was made to make me feel so comfortable and simple. Both Afaq and Andy the “technician” gave great advice and made it a pleasure visiting the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Changed from my normal dentist because they were very happy to look at my issue, when my own dentist ignored me. Leah took it upon herself to look after me and that she did. Since then it’s always a massive warm welcome. Dentists are very professional and informative really go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need, I was given options and treated well. Over the course of time I had teeth whitening,, a replaced crown, and an excellent bridge with a few small filings to fix the front of my teeth, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome, my teeth look totally different, I’m so much more confident smiling and I’m ever so grateful for them being honest with me from the start. Couldn’t recommend this place enough they have been by far the best dentist I’ve ever visited in my life. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: I visited 128 dental on many occasions and on every visit I was treated with great respect and kindness from the entire working staff. Dr Afaq Mahmood, my dentist at 128, provided astounding service and made me feel comfortable at every visit. As well as this, he explained any dental jargon with great detail and made sure I could comprehend the ongoing treatment plan with the necessary steps needed to take place to complete it. His profellionlsm and his welcoming nature really made me feel at ease when visiting the practice. I highly recommend a visit to this dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: Just got home after having five fillings (some were renewals) done by Atirah. What an easy experience. I had a serious 'Dentist phobia', not any more! Atirah was totally professional, calm, gentle and made me feel completely relaxed. I was in the chair for 45+ minutes and it was NOT an ordeal. I cannot recommend her enough, especially to those anxious about visiting the dentist. The resulting fillings have improved the look of my teeth enormously. Thank you Atirah.

I suffered with a terrible abscess over New year and they did everything they could to ensure i was not in pain and resolve the underlying issues. Fantastic experience: Dentists have always been an issue - no-one ever likes going. But guess what, we have a new team on the block - Afaq & Raluca. Together with their great team they offer amazing support and advice on the welfare of your teeth or gums. Very reassuring in these times and i can't thank them enough for looking after me and my family lately. So happy they chose Stockport as their base!

Fantastic experience: I have had a problem for years with 2 teeth, which were very difficult to clean. 3 top dentists over the years have attempted to resolve this for me. I saw Afaq a few weeks ago and in 2 sessions has completely resolved the problem. I found him professional and confident, and just new he would resolve it. The staff are friendly, warm, and accommodating. I highly recommend this whole dental team.
