Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at Abbots Lodge and can’t recommend Joey enough. I booked in with Joey after a previous dental appointment elsewhere left me feeling anxious, stressed, and confused after being told I needed a lot of work done. Joey immediately made me feel at ease and took the time to explain everything clearly. He rebuilt the trust I’d lost in dentists and reassured me that I didn’t actually need the treatment I’d previously been told was necessary. It was honestly the most comfortable I’ve ever been at the dentist, which says a lot as I had been so nervous dreading the appointment. The dental nurse and reception team were also amazing, very friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout. A genuinely positive experience from start to finish. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I moved to Rustington one year ago and needed a dentist. My previous provider had told me I required Invisalign treatment to correct my teeth, but he wasn’t qualified. I soon realised Dr. Yanni Bouille at Abbot’s Lodge was the logical choice, even though I was dental phobic, and sceptical about success given the extent of my problems. After several months of treatment I can honestly say Yanni has given me back my smile. She is a kind, professional, intuitive woman. She is passionate about her work and I feel extremely lucky to have been her patient. Along the way I have benefitted from regular hygienist appointments with Rachel Seymour. Her gentle yet thorough attention has transformed my gums. All the Nurses are wonderful, I don’t know their individual names but they make every visit a joy. The same can be said of all the reception staff, though a special thanks should be made to Anna, who has gone the extra mile in helping me through my journey. My partner and I have signed up to the dental plan which gives us peace of mind, and most important of all, I am no longer deathly afraid of going to the dentist! In fact, I feel more like I am just visiting friends.

Fantastic experience: I always hated my teeth and have been bullied and teased all my life because they were crooked and sticking out. Over the last year, I have been undergoing treatment in the form of invisalign adjustment and finally composite bonding. The results are spectacular and for the first time in my life, I love my teeth and am not afraid to smile any more. I am now 70! I cannot thank Yanni enough for all her extremely hard work, dedication, professionalism and encouragement. All the staff have been brilliant and were as excited as I was to see the final result. Fantastic experience: I had a very long appointment with Joey yesterday, assisted by Natalie. I was anxious anticipating what was to be done but I was reassured and put at ease straight away. Joey was very gentle and kept the pain to the minimum! I am a fairly new patient at Abbots Lodge Dental Practice but highly recommend the care, pleasant clean and up to date surroundings and kind, friendly staff. :-)

Fantastic experience: I joined their membership scheme when my dentist in London retired whom I had continued to go to even after moving to Rustington. Always a nervous patient, Clifton Wan is gentle and caring. He explains what and why he is doing anything. Apart from needing an implant I have not had to pay anything extra. Broken tooth? Fractured crown? No problem, appointment same day, not always with Clifton but in an emergency you just want TLC.

Visiting the dentist is never the most exciting activity, so for a number of years I have been visiting the friendly Abbots Lodge Dental Practice where I always receive excellent professional attention.

Fantastic experience: Well qualified and trained professionals. State of art dentistry practice and high end qualified in new age dentistry. Very thoughtful and caring in surgery. Supportive administration staff: eager to please.

Negative experience: First time coming to this dental practice but won’t come back. There is definitely a push to upsell, my appointment lasted longer due to me having to have photos of my teeth to sell me Invisalign, which I didn’t ask for. I also took my 4 year old with me, they spent a few minutes checking his teeth and charged me £45 which felt excessive. When I booked the appointment I was told a much lower price. Unfortunately I don’t trust this practice and feel they will try to find ways to over charge customers. Shame as the receptionist/staff seemed nice.

I have suffered many years through multiple train track braces, retainers, oral and jaw operations in the past to help with my bite and to straighten my teeth. Fantastic experience: Had my Invisalign done with Dr. Yanni and so pleased with the results. Dr. Yanni is knowledgable yet warm and friendly and gives great advice whilst on the Invisalign journey. She goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Plus, I love the vibe when I am at my appointment which helps someone like me who use to be nervous at the dentist!

Positive experience: The practice is a good one and the staff are all very nice. I decided to move on after several years as a patient as there is now a push to try and upsell cosmetic dentistry. My last visit for a standard check up ended up taking 2-3 times as long as I was photographed from every angle and then encouraged to change my smile which I found a bit upsetting as I was not previously subconscious about it. I then received follow up calls pushing me to take our finance deals. As I say, a nice practice, good dentists and staff, you will receive good care - but I didn’t like the shift in focus

Fantastic experience: Issey my dentist is exceptional. She has a wonderful, calming manner with her patients. She explains everything carefully making sure you understand. She shares her knowledge and talks through x-rays and treatment. I am so happy she is my dentist! Suzanne is my dental hygienist, she relaxes you as soon as you lay back in the chair. She is thorough and detailed, she takes her time to discuss all areas of dental hygiene with you. She explains how your dental health is and creates a plan with you. She is warm and friendly .. in fact the whole team is!

Fantastic experience: I've been with this Dental Practice for many years, and their partners in Ferring. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience from phone calls, to reception, to actual dental and hygiene treatment. We are made to feel very comfortable and welcome with the friendly staff -many of whom have worked for the Dental Practice for many many years, which is testament indeed to the good leadership and teamwork. Having attended the dentist this week it reminded me to do a well-deserve review. What is important to know as a patient is the dentists are very kind, the atmosphere is friendly and inviting, the treatment is -for me at any rate discomfort free - and everything is clearly explained.I would also add the pricing is extremely fair. If you needed any further reassurance I recommended the practice to a colleague who was petrified of having her teeth done... but had to get treatment somewhere .She reported to me that her faith in dentistry was totally restored and she'd never had and that she'd never had a good experience but she did here! I can't give a shout out to everyone there because they're all wonderful, but many thanks to incredible dental skills of Clifton Wan, and his team. A highly recommended practice. PS there's even great local artwork to distract you while you wait for your appointment!!

Fantastic experience: Abbots Lodge is a great dental practice. All of the staff are very friendly. In particular Clifton is a great dentist, great at explaining things whilst not making you feel bad if you have let things slip. Great care during procedures, couldn’t feel a thing and great after care. Lindsey is a great Hygienist too! Again doesn’t make you feel bad about letting things slip and gets you feeling good about moving forward with a plan. All in all I would highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: An hour in the dentist's chair is rarely an unqualified delight, but one is always conscious that at Abbots Lodge all is for the best. This is scarcely a place or an activity which is going to help one to save money, but again the quality of the service is comforting, and the staff, either at desk or wielding what sounds like a pneumatic drill, and remorselessly cheerful and helpful. So six stars out of ten.

However, since becoming my dentist, Joey has increased my confidence in him with each visit. So much so that I had no qualms, or nerves, about my most recent appointment and didn't need, or want, any pre treatment sedative tablet. Abbots Lodge is a friendly and lovely practice - with expertise both in dentistry and caring for their patients - particularly nervous ones!

Fantastic experience: An efficient, friendly and proactive dental practice with reasonable subscription rates. From the convenience viewpoint, if you go there by car there is a large car park, whilst if you use the 700 bus then east bound the stop is just across the road, and west bound it is only a few minutes walk away.
