My surgeon Clive Moss & his assistant were lovely, taking time to get to know me as a person, sharing some stories, making me laugh and fully putting me at ease. I can thoroughly recommend this clinic as it was a great experience all round.

Fantastic experience: Excellent environment and treatment. After a really poor experience at my local nhs dental practice where you never knew the locum treating you, and where the treatment was of a poor standard, I took the (financial) plunge and moved our family of 5 to Priestgate, which isn’t local. My daughters have both had braces fitted there, and overall we are all very happy with the practice.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best Dental Clinic I have ever attended. I was desperate to see my Dentist as I had had a large old filling at the back of my mouth pulled out by eating toffee.It was 5 o’clock in the evening not to mention a Friday over Christmas week.I rang reception in the off chance that someone would be there and WOW reception answered.The lovely receptionist listened to my plight and rang me back straight away and informed me that although Catherine was gone home she was on her way back to see me! Catherine saw me and filled in my tooth permanently within the hour!I am so grateful to Catherine and her team for relieving my pain so quickly and efficiently .I will always recommend this practice as being very friendly ,efficient, clean and not to mention a pain free experience always due to the expertise of Catherine and the team. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Victoria, and her staff from receptionist to her dental assistant, Victoria came recommended to me and I have been extremely impressed so far, very thorough explaining everything in detail along the way, she also checked for throat cancer and thyroids too, having a loss to throat cancer in my family and being a heavy smoker this meant a lot to me and totally unexpected but very much appreciated, I am actually looking forward to my next visit and starting my plan to have teeth I will happily put on display once again soon, thank you Victoria and your lovely team.

Fantastic experience: Customer service has been fantastic in our first two visits. Matoula is very friendly and takes her time to explain the treatments. She recently went out of her way to contact me via zoom when I struggled with my daughter's new expander device. Fantastic experience: I've just finished an 18 month orthodontic treatment to correct my bite, including a referral to the hospital for surgery. Every step of the way, Richard and his team have been the epitome of professionalism and kindness. I was initially a bit daunted by the prospect but the team put all my worries to rest and their use of technology for scans and 3D printing aligners/retainers is incredible. Can't thank them enough - it's made a huge difference to my life!

Fantastic experience: I started coming here for my orthodontic braces with Dr. Matoula—super professional and always brings good energy to the room. I’m still in the process, but so far she’s been incredibly attentive to both aesthetic goals and health concerns. Plus, the financial options made it a lot easier to commit. I ended up recommending the place to my mum. Even though it's a bit pricier than her old clinic, it's totally worth it for the quality of care—especially when it comes to oral health. Fantastic experience: I was referred here to remove my wisdom tooth as I was in constant pain with it. I was booked in for an appointment very quickly to see Mr Moss, who was excellent, he knew I was incredibly nervous and along with the nurse who was assisting, they were patient with me all through the procedure. He removed the tooth very quickly and I am happy to say I am no longer in pain. All of the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I can't thank you enough.

Fantastic experience: Victoria is a superb dentist. She is so professional and thorough and is superb at enhancing the cosmetic look of your teeth, always taking great care. She is a lovely, empathetic dentist who you can really relate to. Her assistant, Catherine, is also excellent.

Negative experience: I have only been once to Priestgate clinic, but they were unable to help with my complex dental needs. I came in quest of the solution to two matters. the first being to be supplied with a replacement Tanner appliance, but was not given the option of an appointment with the orthodontist. Also on telling the dentist that I am allergic to local anaesthetics i was told that they were unable to take me as a patient., although i have a medical practitioner who is willing to supply the necessary antidote. Thankfully i have since found a dentist who is helping me, although I do have to travel a long way.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service by Catherine and also the receptionist who helped me ensure my husband was able to enter the building in his wheelchair. Cannot say how much it made a stressful experience so much easier.

His 10mm underbite has been corrected without surgery and his teeth look amazingly straight and aligned. The payment plan was explained fully at the beginning and so we were aware of costs upfront. Fantastic experience: I brought my son here for a retainer and braces. Having spent time in the US and being used to their private dental treatments, the Priestgate Clinic was very impressive and a step ahead. Sensible and practical adoption of technology such as scanning the mouth for the retainer (no sticky gum impressions), and 3D printing so available next day and quickly reproduced when lost. Very friendly staff with keen awarness of need to educate (and practical demonstration of) how to clean teeth, retainers, braces. Talked through every step of the process when braces being applied. Well designed ambiance. To top it off they actually care what their customers think - as in genuinely care rather than pay lip service. Congratulations on setting up a customer centric business.

They kept me well informed throughout the two sessions. The administration of the anaesthetic was the only time I felt anything - a slight scratch. Fantastic experience: Before last year, I hadn’t visited a dentist since I was a young child (I’m now almost 30). I have a very severe phobia of the dentist due to an accident and dental trauma when I was younger. So as you can imagine, looking for a dentist that was able to deal with this and put me at ease was my top priority. Upon reading reviews, I contacted Priestgate and from the very start they were accommodating and kind, breaking my treatment down in to smaller appointments so I didn’t get overwhelmed, because as you can imagine, after such a long time of no dental visits, I needed a fair bit of work doing. Catherine has been absolutely fantastic. Kind, caring, and understanding of my phobia without making me feel childish. Catherine has put my well-being at the forefront of my care, on multiple occasions even changing the treatment plan last minute to accommodate my anxiety. I couldn’t ask for a better dentist, and the fact that I can even have dental work done is something that I never could have imagined, and without sounding too cliché, it has changed my life. The state of my dental health was something that caused me daily worry before. Thank you so much to Catherine and the team, and if anyone reads this because they’re in the same situation I was, then I hope you reach out to Priestgate as you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment for my daughter after struggling to get answers from our NHS Orthodontist as to the best course of treatment for her. At the very first consultation X-rays and a 3D scan were taken to identify exactly what was going on with her teeth and a treatment plan was explained there and then. Within a week a brace had been fitted and we saw significant visible improvements within days of this. After struggling for over two years we could not believe how quickly this happened and my daughters mental health improved literally within days. I have since taken my other daughter for a consultation which identified issues with a tooth within the palette (which isn’t visible) resulting in an extraction to try and help the adult tooth to move back on course. I cannot recommend this practice and their staff enough, my only regret is that I didn’t take my daughters there sooner.

Fantastic experience: My 13 year old son saw Sarfareez yesterday for root canal treatment. He was immediately put at ease and had a pain free and very comfortable experience. Both he and the accompanying nurse were absolutely great with him and me, his Mum. Thank you so much for your professional but very friendly manners. I would recommend this practice highly.

I’ve had a lot of dentistry lately and every experience has been excellent and most importantly painless. They have treated the whole family with various treatments over the past 5 years and I can’t praise them enough. Fantastic practice.

Negative experience: Don’t bother! Not as good as as it used to be. Orthodontics part ( private not NHS) us probably still good but dentists are not. Rude receptionists. Send a child for a scale and polish and she got sent off with a check up! This so called appointment had been cancelled and rescheduled by priestgate twice before. Wasted 2 hours of school time for no good reason. My own experience isn’t much better. A filling placed by Zoe at Priestgate had to be replaced within 10 months. Rushed work. If you want quality dental work - keep looking. Unfortunately, Priestgate Clinic isn’t it anymore. They used to have a great management and everything was run very smoothly. Shame really

Fantastic experience: I was a really nervous patient, having had a frightening experience at a young age, but everyone was/is so lovely here. Catherine is very patient and gentle and she explained every step to me. No more nerves! Staff are really friendly and welcoming can't thank everyone enough

Negative experience: Contacted the receptionist in this clinic by email to check if Dr Cousley can provide me with an orthodontic assessment and recommend treatment options in a letter. The receptionist asked me to call. I call straight after, she goes " how can I help you?" and she appears to have no clue as to what I am talking about. So I explain my request again, not once but MULTIPLE times, for her to keep insisting that I should come to the consultation and take up the issue with the Dr Cousley, she just seems not bothered, and refused to ask him to make sure he can provide a second opinion with treatment recommendations in a letter. After I insisted and requesting she shows my email to him, she said she will check with him and email me next day. Next day, she emails saying because I am not local, "he can not refer me for surgery"! and she cancelled the appointment. If he read my email and if she understood my request, she will soon realise "I never asked to be referred for surgery"! Again showing she understood nothing of what I was requesting! I messaged her again explaining, yet again, I was looking for a second opinion consisting of an orthodontic evaluation and recommendations of treatment options. She replies saying I did show your email to Dr Cousley, and he can not offer you any help or surgical treatment!. Yet again showing she has no clue of what I am asking! I have also noticed either she does not understand English very well, or she has some issue grasping what it is being asked of her, and you have to ask or explain multiple times. I should add I contacted other clinics and their receptionists had no issue understanding my simple request of wanting an orthodontic assessment and recommended treatment options in writing. None of them understood "recommending treatment options" as "referral for surgery", and none of them said: "our orthodontist can not offer you any help!." She also seems to change the story. At first she told me "Dr Cousley can not refer for surgery because you are not local" to later say: " Dr Cousley advised that he won't be able to see you for the consultation as he will not be able to provide any help or surgical treatment because you are not local"! So according to this clinic, unlike other clinics, you can not have consultations or receive any other treatment apart from referral to surgery unless you are local!!! Another serious problem with this clinic is that you can not contact anyone else in the clinic as only this receptionist answer emails or calls! I am really lost for words at the appalling customer service I have received from this receptionist! It is also a shame as I was looking forward to getting an opinion of a renowned expert in the field, only to be turned away by a receptionist who does not seem to be bothered!

Fantastic experience: I had my brace fitted aged 13 and it was on for 18 months. I cannot thank Mr Cousley enough for the fantastic job he has made of my teeth. My teeth started off being all over the place and I needed some removed. They are now incredible. Nothing was too much for the team at Priestgate and I would highly recommend them - and have done - to all my friends.

I could not recommend Jess and the clinic more highly. As a very nervous patient they were sensitive and encouraging every step of the way, the extraction itself was swift and expertly carried out and the recovery so far has been textbook. If you are worried or concerned I would absolutely recommend both the clinic and Jess.

Fantastic experience: My recent dental surgery at the clinic was undertaken by an extremely professional team which gave me all the support and reassurance I needed. I have always been “frightened of the dentist” but they spent the time before, during and after the treatment to ensure I was both comfortable and fully understood the process throughout. They even called me the following day to check my recovery. Prior to the treatment I had consultations with two other clinics, neither of which gave me the confidence to proceed. I have no hesitation in recommending The Priestgate Clinic.

Fantastic experience: I was originally referred to Priestgate for orthodontic work, but was so impressed that I moved there for general dentistry shortly afterwards too. I used to think that a dentist was a dentist and there couldn't be much difference between them, but two-and-a-bit years later I'm happy to admit that I was wrong and I'm also very happy with my teeth Everyone there is so consistently lovely, everything seems so joined up and professional, and frankly it is all notably better than the previous practice that I used to go to, so I would absolutely recommend Priestgate and just wish I'd known about them sooner!
