Fantastic experience: All the Staff at Talbot Dental, James, John, Tracey, Rimy and the whole team are so friendly and professional, they do an amazing job and having been a patient for many years I can honestly say I can't fault them and would thoroughly recommend. They are kind and compassionate too and im always very happy with the results!

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Talbot Dental highly enough, especially James. I had Invisalign followed by composite bonding at their Brentwood, Essex practice, which is only around 30 minutes on the train from London and very easy to get to. The results are so natural — exactly what I was looking for — with an excellent colour match that looks completely seamless. James was very open and honest about expectations, incredibly efficient, and great at communicating throughout the whole process. I’m absolutely thrilled with the results and honestly wish I’d done it sooner. Thank you!

Throughout James and John have been incredible at delivering this, and have been clear, thorough and excellent. They are clearly both brilliant dentists. All the nurses have been so kind and this place had a proper family feel - thank you for looking after me!!

I had some work done and was worried about the procedure but everyone was amazing, so friendly, caring and calm. The work done was brilliant, it didn't hurt and didn't cause me any issues, never going anywhere else. Highly recommend to anyone but especially for those who are a bit nervous getting seen too.

Accommodating and helpful with appointments, and the waiting room bants is excellent! Beyond that, James has done some masterful work to look after my teeth and make them amazing. From whitening to repairing, he has given me the perfect smile. Very appreciate of his skills!

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency appointment while visiting my daughter in Brentwood and was so pleased when Talbot Dental were able to fit me in. The receptionist was very welcoming and was seen very quickly by James the dentist. James listened to my issues and decided to take an xray of my tooth, which he did not take long. He showed me on the results of the xray on the tv screen. Did the relevant treatment and gave aftercare advice. I highly recommend Talbot Dental.

Fantastic experience: I went as a new patient who has missed a hygienist appointment with my own practice. Although I was advised it's preferential to be registered at this practice they had advertised for new patients welcome online, and so I completed medical history forms for a hygienist appointment. The experience in that was smooth and could readily all be done on one's phone. The surgery has a comfortable waiting room although I was on time and didn't get to sit down for long. I'm not a great dental patient as I have a low pain threshold but the hygienist did her best to put me at rest and had a very steady hand. We were completed within 30 minutes and some recommendations about looking after my teeth were well received. On inspection at home - and in truth through instant 'mouth feel' and comparison of experience - I could tell she had done, frankly, an excellent job, finishing with a polish. I'd recommend the surgery based on this experience and my family will be visiting soon. All thanks to them, professional and friendly from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: James took over from John Talbot my previous dentist. With the help of his very capable dental hygienist I have had several satisfactory dental work sofar. This includes tooth extraction, retainers, whiteners and repairing a loss filling today. Each experience has been pleasant and efficient. Everything explained simply. Reception service is very polite and friendly too. I would recommend especially if you are a nervous patient like myself.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Talbot Dental for 30 years. John looked after me extremely well and when he sold the practice on to James I thought maybe now was the time to look for a dentist closer to home, as it is a 120 mile round trip for me. Well I will definitely not be looking for anything closer. James and the very friendly team are excellent. I am having two implants done. James went through the whole procedure, explaing everything from start to finish. I thought this might have been a painful process but am happy to say no pain at all. I would definitely recommend going to Talbot Dental. I certainly wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Negative experience: Quoted for a check up and then charged more. James tried quickly to refix a crown without much effort but was quick to offer a new one for over £2,500!!!! Then made an appointment there with John, the previous owner of the practice, and he fixed it.

Fantastic experience: I first met James from Talbot Dental when he treated a broken molar of mine at an emergency appointment. I was incredibly happy with the service from James and decided that I would use his practice from that point onwards. I have since had a crown fitted and have also had a hygienist appointment at Talbot Dental. The entire team are incredibly welcoming and professional and I couldn’t recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: Welcoming, friendly and professional team. Waiting room is comfy and certainly doesn’t feel or smell like a dental waiting room, a bonus for me with my decades of phobia and fears of dentists and hygienists! Due to these issues the dentist listened non judgementally, giving me time to cope with a step by step approach to all the work I needed. This was done at the speed I could handle along with care and patience being shown throughout the treatment journey. Testament to the professionalism and care of the team I’ve gone from being frightened and avoiding dentists and hygienists for over 10 years to booking in a check up in 6 months time!

Fantastic experience: James and the team at the Talbot Dental Practice are a friendly and accommodating unit, whether the treatment covers a simple visit with the hygienist or a programme of dental implants. I have had over the last year a three implant programme completed efficiently and with total satisfaction. I am extremely pleased with the result…well done James and the team.

Even the most arduous of treatments are carried out with the minimum amount of discomfort. I recently had two teeth extracted and was surprised at how smoothly (and painlessly) the procedure went. The two implants replacements are so good I can’t now tell which ones they are !

Fantastic experience: I am extremely nervous about visiting dentists, a legacy from the poor standards of the 1960's. I knew I needed some work to repair 2 teeth. I was recommended to visit Talbot Dental by a friend, glad he did. My experience with James was very positive (I still did not enjoy it for sure). James took a great deal of trouble to address my nervousness, explaining every step of the process in detail and making sure I was as relaxed as I could be. I would certainly recommend Talbot Dental to others, very much a patient focused practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a lot of problems with my teeth. I had a crown that was beginning to fray at the edges. My dentist prior to that didn't feel up to the task of getting it out. I was recommended this dental surgery by a colleague. Not only were they able to solve the issue with the crown and extract it (a very difficult procedure) , I have had very very good aftercare, advice and treatment for several other things including fillings, mouth guard and hygienist appointments. This is a very good surgery. I feel better educated to take care of my teeth and understand what I need, which in comparison to nhs dentistry in the past which threw you in and out of the chair as quick as possible without helping you understand how to better take care of your teeth. I think at this point it would be very difficult for me to go back to that given the new quality that I am used to. I highly recommend this surgery.

Fantastic experience: We joined Talbot House Dental when we moved to Shenfield 13 years ago. Over the years we have had nothing but first class attentive and friendly service from John the dentist along with Jenny the receptionist and the rest of the team. Over the years we have had regular routine treatment along with the odd need for an urgent appointment. Treatment has always been excellent John knows what he is doing and is very very thorough every visit. We have never been let down when we have needed urgent appointments and messages are always returned promptly by Jenny. This gives great peace of mind. We have recently over the last year started to see the hygienist who is also excellent. . This team really care and and we are fortunate to have found such a professional practice. Highly recommended.

I’ve been a patient of Johns for over 15 years now and would not wish to go elsewhere, despite the considerable distance I drive to see him as I am no longer local to the area. Negative experience: Took my almost 15 year old daughter for a private appointment as she had 1 baby k9 missing, but the adult tooth hadn't come through and on the other side the k9 still had a baby tooth present. I took her specifically to check that she had the adult teeth present & if there were any issues & was assured the adult teeth were there. Some 10 months later I took her for a brace consultation elsewhere only to find that the side where she still has the baby tooth, the adult k9 is impacted in the roof of her mouth and requires lengthy treatment. Upon speaking to this dentist to find out why this wasn't seen at the time of our appointment, I was told they only fully x-rayed one side of her mouth!! Total waste of money, when the sole purpose of this paid visit was to check these teeth! 10 months of treatment time wasted, useless!!

Everyone is really friendly and the quality of service is excellent. The highest compliment is that we rarely visit other than for our twice yearly checks and cleans.
