Fantastic experience: Visits to the dentist is normally met with dread,but yesterday I had an extraction and can honestly say it was so stressless from the calm,friendly receptionists to the nurse and lastly from the dentist Nina,she was again so friendly,explained everything as she went along with the procedure and I felt very little pain then or since.Just wish I'd found this practise years ago and saved me some pretty horrendous experiences.

Fantastic experience: I was working along way from home when I suddenly got toothache this practice give me a 10am slot the same day i rang from the moment i walked in this practice everyone in the the reception where so kind and polite to me even though i was not one of there regular customers then as i entered the surgery the two perfectly polite dental surgeon's to very good cair of me they were so professional i was in and out within 20mins i would highly recommend this practice 10 out of 10 thank you all so much down house dental practice

Fantastic experience: With a broken wobbly tooth that my own dentist was unable to extract (!) I randomly called Down House. Katherine was amazing in explaining things to me (on the phone) and booked me an emergency appointment. Following that conversation I was confident that I’d be in good hands. The appointment was on time and professional and every question that I had was answered. Needless to say that my tooth was extracted with a follow-up booked too.

Fantastic experience: A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to get an appointment at Down House Dental surgery having very painful toothache. From the initial enquiry to my first visit all members of staff I had interactions, were friendly, helpful and very efficient. Nina, my dentist was amazing. I was embarrassed by my teeth as due to recent bad experiences with two other dentists I had not had my teeth checked for quite some time but absolutely no judgement was made and I felt totally at ease. I had my treatment (extraction) the following week and the appointment surpassed itself. Nina was so nice and allayed any nerves I had. I was not rushed and very pleased with the outcome. I was given very clear information, verbally and written regarding my after care. I highly recommend this practice, certainly based on my time with Nina and her colleagues. Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient & have made it a life goal to avoid dentists at all cost! (Result of 60’s school dentists ☹️) Due to extreme pain I attended Down House. The staff were brilliant, Clare the dentist was extremely gentle & calming, explaining every stage of the extraction of the offending tooth. It was done without any pain whatsoever. You normally say this for restaurants etc but ‘ I will be back’

Fantastic experience: Visited the dentist today for the first time with our four children. Since our previous dentist removed us after Covid (id been there since a child) this was actually the first dental visit for our two youngest — and two of our children are also autistic. We were really impressed with how lovely the whole experience was. We saw Nina, who, along with her nurse, was incredibly welcoming and kind. The environment was calm, and they took their time explaining everything clearly and reassuringly. My eldest, who is disabled, struggled and refused to be seen — but they didn’t pressure him. Instead, they immediately arranged a referral to a specialist dentist, which was such a relief. Before this, I’d been quite anxious — especially since teeth cleaning can be a challenge, and our old dentist often made us feel judged if there were any issues. It always felt rushed and lacked understanding around additional needs. Down House is a bit of a journey for us, but we’re really glad we registered with them. Just a shame they aren’t currently taking on adult NHS patients — hopefully that changes in the future! ☺️

Fantastic experience: Had a hygienist appointment today with Tesh, he was brilliant and gave me some great advice. I have sensitive teeth and have found hygienist appointments with other practices very uncomfortable but was very happy with the appointment today and will be back in September.

Fantastic experience: We have used Down House Dental Practice for the last several years and wouldn’t move to anywhere else even though a new private practice has opened much closer to us. We have always had a very thorough and professional service from Dr Ali and the hygienist Tesh, and good contact when needed by the reception staff. Fantastic experience: I’m not a fan of visiting the dentist but who is! That said, Ali Noori is exceptional and the staff are caring and attentive. Being talked through the process when being treated is great too and following up after to make sure everything is ok is a nice touch. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: My three year old daughter had her first appointment at Down House Dental after moving from another dental practice out of the area. All of the staff were lovely and Clare put Olive at ease throughout the appointment, not pushing her to do anything she wasn’t comfortable with. The dental nurse was also very lovely. We were running a little late but they were very accommodating and we weren’t waiting long to be seen at all. My daughter was also very pleased with the sticker selection available!

Fantastic experience: The team took great care of me during a 2 hour root canal treatment. I felt no pain at all and the practice even followed up next morning to see if I was ok. I have been a patient at this practice for many years and would thoroughly recommend them

Relaxing and comfortable environment. I was always on edge at the dentist, but here I am always at ease. Great service, been going for 3 years and have had a fair bit of work done. Fantastic experience: I have been attending Down House for about 25 years, being treated by a number of dentists and hygienists during this time. They are all really caring and extremely good at what they do. The current staff are just the best and Clare and Shesh between them always take care when I visit and offer brilliant advice about dental care and of course give excellent treatment. Fantastic experience: Dr Ali Noori is the best dentist I have ever been to ! Very gentle and thorough. He recently replaced a very poor cap done by a previous dentist ( which was awful , so obviously a cap) The new one is perfection !

Fantastic experience: This review is for Tesh the hygenist. I honestly can't recommend Tesh more highly. He is incredibly thorough and clearly knows what he's doing. Tesh is so good I have upped the amount of times I see him to every four months rather than every six. He keeps detailed notes of every visit so he can carefully track how I'm doing and help me target specific areas of concern. As I am getting older keeping my gums healthy becomes more important as I really want to keep as many teeth as possible in old age! Tesh is always upbeat, very encouraging and also keen to know how I and my family are doing.

Fantastic experience: There's always a warm welcome from all staff at Down House Dental Practice. I've been a patient for many years. My present dentist is gentle and most reassuring. I've had a few different treatments and nothing is too much trouble. After a particularly difficult session i had a call from Claire (dentist) to see how I was. Both Claire and her nurse, Catherine are professional and sympathetic and I know I'm in very safe hands. Not forgetting Tesh, the hygienist who is always so efficient and gives great advice and care. Fantastic experience: After a recent refurb, the practice is sparkling - welcoming and efficient. Far more importantly, Dr Ali is truly a genius dentist. After a lifetime of various dentists, world-wide, he is the best I have known in 60 years. Fantastic patient manner - reassuring and, perhaps usefully, completely painless.
