Fantastic experience: Been coming to this dentist for years. Mr Saravanamutto makes you feel at ease. If I need a filling or a tooth out I have never felt any of the injections go in. He always treats you gently and never hurts you. I can recommend him to anyone

Fantastic experience: Myself and 2 children started coming here years ago, then my husband joined the practice too. I can honestly say, Mr Sara has never once caused me any pain. I've had fillings, teeth removed, cleaned and polished, a bit of everything over the many years I've been coming. Now my grandchildren come here too. Some of the reception and dental nurse are new, and it can take time to settle in, but they seem to be handling things well. Would highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Since the dentist has sold his practice treatment is speeded up been let down twice for whitening gel after waiting months sometimes you go in for an appointment that you have had booked for weeks tool time off work and they want to re book because it's an inconvenience on the day like i said since he's sold the practice rude rushed and unprofessional don't waste your time with this place and the staff

Especially for someone who’s always been nervous of the dentist! Can’t recommend highly enough! The lady on reception is always polite and nice too

Fantastic experience: Both my wife and I (Sheila & Mike) have been patients of this Dental Practise for many years (my wife for approx 40 years & 30 years myself).Mr Saravanamutto is a brilliant dentist and always puts you at ease and gives your teeth and mouth a thorough check-up and advises of any work that needs to be done etc. You would be hard pressed to find another dental practice as good as this one!

Negative experience: Have been a patient for a number of years. The dentist himself is very personable. The operation of the practice is very poor, and I would recommend to exercise caution if using this practice as they are either blasé or dishonest when dealing with finances, for example, payments for appointments being taken twice and only rectified when being pressed on this, incorrect information being regarding payments being given to either deliberately or accidentally mislead patients. Overall, I would avoid this practice, or, be very cautious regarding trusting them with money paid.

Negative experience: A year ago I had an emergency appointment for tooth pain. Dr Saravanamuttu took an x ray (which I didn’t see) and told me there is nothing there. He said it was probably TMJ and I had a splint made for £90. March this year and I’ve still been having pain. I went for a checkup and again he said there was nothing there even though the tooth looks grey. This time he said it is probably wisdom teeth. Which it most definitely isn’t. I was so fed up, this checkup lasted exactly 2 minutes and I still paid. The front desk staff are incompetent too. I was asking both the doctor and front staff questions and none of them were answering them. There is no communication at all. As a person with anxiety I cried and was in shock. I am now private with Batemans and straight away she showed me that that tooth needs a filling as does another site in my mouth. This could have been resolved a year ago but I’ve been in pain since then.

Negative experience: This was the only dentist I could find locally taking on new NHS patients but only for kids under 10, however it's the least child friendly dentist you could find. Even though the website advertises parking, they actually have no parking and are on a main road in the town centre, so I then had to look for parking. I was therefore 10 minutes late and they refused to see my children due to being late and also said they couldn't rearrange, rule is if you're late they just don't see you and ban you from going there again. I had my youngest in the pram but access was not pram friendly, a really heavy door with a huge step then a flight of steps to get up to the reception area, I had to leave the pram in the hallway where there was very little space. There was no one else there only me, they definitely could have taken 5 mins to do a check up for my kids but just chose not to, I was clearly flustered as I'd had a nightmare getting to the place and the young girl on reception was so rude and showed no compassion at all, she should not be in this line of work, seemed like she just didn't care at all and actually had a smirk on her face as she told me they wouldn't see me / I couldn't return. Think I have dodged a bullet with this one

Negative experience: Apolled with the way I was spoken to on the phone by one of receptionists. Her attitude towards me was a disgrace and have never been spoken to like that off a health care person. She couldn't understand my name, I spelt it out to her and she still didn't know. The lady was very unhelpful and I would not recommend ringing.
