Kilrea Dental Surgery

Fantastic experience: I walked in to kilrea dental surgery for the first time and never have i experienced such a relaxed and fun vibe from the 2 receptionists and meeting my new dentist and assistant who helped me relax and had such a fun n caring attitude and on leaving was given some water n told to sit until i felt better before leaving the duty of care was outstanding thank you all see you on my next appointment which no matter of what work carried out i will be made feel so welcome which takes edge of a trip to the dentist please know all of the above does not go unnoticed from Nichola Esler

Negative experience: Iv never been to a more unfriendly dental practice. I tried to make conversation with the dental receptionist and she barely answered and the dentist sighed the whole way through the procedure I was getting and when I was asking questions he answered really abruptly and made me feel so nervous and like I was being a nuisance.

Fantastic experience: Great staff first time there and I was very impressed

Fantastic experience: I have to be the most challenging of patients , charlie is fantastic so reassuring and curious. All the staff are so professional , discreet, (unlike other health practices where every one in reception knows your health concerns). 1st dentist iv sat for without sedation.

Fantastic experience: Having such a fear of the dentist, i can now say Debbie has made that fear a lot easier. Getting booked in with karen on reception who was a delight, always accomodating and fitting me in as soon as she could. Debbie understood my fears and made me feel at ease immediately. Talked me through everything and if i needed a breather, give me a few seconds.. If youre lucky she might even sing some westlife. Overall made my experience a lot less scary and now i can go for my treatments with out such an irrational fear. So thank you Debbie

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with this dentist. From the start, there was no transparency about the procedure I was having. I was left confused and had to go back three separate times because the temporary fillings kept falling out. Each time I asked about getting the problem fixed permanently, I was instead given another temporary filling and simply sent home. When I asked if it would come out again soon, I was met with vague responses like “I don’t know” or “I can’t tell you,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. As someone with autism, I needed clear communication and patience, but instead I was disregarded completely and treated very rudely. His lack of transparency, unwillingness to provide a proper solution, and dismissive attitude left me feeling disrespected and still without a permanent fix. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone seeking honesty, professionalism, or proper care.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had two visits so far and they have been the best two visits to a dental surgery that I’ve ever had. Charlie is outstanding at his profession, he is chatty and made me feel at ease. The dental nurse was lovely too. Karen on reception is such a lovely person she talked away to be whilst I waited for my appointment. What a fantastic team they are!! Thank you for all you do!!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fabulous dentist, like alot of people I have a totally irrational fear of the dentist, dentist put me totally at ease, could have stopped the appointment anytime I felt I couldn't take anymore, but didn't to. Staff also down to earth and very friendly and the receptionist is a gem. Never thought I'd be leaving a 5 star review for a trip to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I've had three appointments to date with Charlie Kielt and can't speak highly enough of his professionalism and expertise. He and his staff are welcoming and friendly which is good for anyone who's a bit nervous about visiting the dentist. And the care he takes means it's a relatively pain-free experience. Altogether, a great asset to Kilrea.
