Negative experience: Am so disappointed with the treatment I have had at this practice, I lost my dental plate o December 14th an am still waiting to have it replaced keep making one excuse after other been ringing every week for the past 4 months an still have had no help in replacing it ,it possibly can't take this long ,just so disappointed with the service wouldn't remind this practice

Negative experience: Terrible service went with a bad tooth ache they done xray etc seen wot I needed told me to book an appointment to get it sorted went back up yesterday thinking I was going to get it fixed and they just done a clean said they couldn't fix the tooth ache that I was to book another appointment which again I can't get for 3 weeks I wont be back

Negative experience: I went in today as an NHS patient and was told the books were closed to NHS. That's quite understandable. The prices the receptionist quoted for private are as follows,£150to register, the same for a check up and the same for a filling. I don't mind paying for treatment but that's far too much .

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and professional!

Negative experience: Welcomed as new private patients (not taking NHS patients now). Staff have been pleasant and did ring us to tell of changes to appointments etc. Somewhat slow to answer phone but helpful once through.. Reception is clean and tidy. But ... Charged £84 each for a new patient checkup with dentist plus £50+ for a 5 minute scale and polish and then an extra £24 for an x ray. X-ray machine broken so had to book separate visit. This was cancelled as we walked through the door as machine had broken again. Next x-ray appointment OK but had to wait 25 minutes plus as practice 'busy'. Came out of x-ray to learn about extra for the x-ray. Shocked as already paid so much. On querying this told by the manager there are no price lists and that the dentist can choose how much extra to charge on top of a 'base price' The base price is what I had been offered as a guide when I first enquired! Apparently this should have been discussed whilst in with the dentist originally. Can't imagine how that conversation would have gone with me lying in chair. Total cost for two people well over £300. Shocking lack of transparency over pricing. Feel foolish for not having pushed for more detailed quote initially and for being taken for a ride, especially having checked with other local dentists. Case of buyer beware.

Fantastic experience: Cosmin musat couldn't have made me more at ease as I have a dental phobia numbed my mouth completely before injections couldn't feel a thing done all my fillings and work at 1 time, and constantly asking if I was okay him and his assistant are top class would highly recommend to anyone especially someone with dental phobia il have no fear going back again

I never should have been worried about the extraction at all, Cosmin made it look so easy, I was always worried about teeth extraction but I can say that Cosmin was very professional and and I was really impressed by the way he was. Negative experience: Unfortunately the practice has had a high turnover of dentists and at some points none. This massively impacts availability. Due to the chaotic disorganisation our family of 5 weren't seen during covid which is understandable, however poor service carried on during the subsequent year. My son was soon needing a referral to orthodontics which we gave up on getting from here, and our 11 Yr old girl couldn't even get an emergency appointment for toothache. We ended up having to pay for her to be seen privately at the ballymena family dental care because there were no dentists at the ballymoney clinic. At one point an appointment was made for us over the phone for a check up, we booked off work and school but when we turned up we were told we weren't on the appointment list with no real explanation. When we tried to book another one, the receptionist said there was no dentists again and it could be next year! With no other alternative, we had to move to a new dentist in limavady. We were finally sent a check up reminder from this practice recently, however a short time later were sent another email saying to ignore it, as it was sent by mistake! We will be continuing with the new dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I've been with this practise for 7 years have seen dentist come and go never had a bad experience with any of them and I've had different work done. Today was a upper wisdom tooth removal with a new dentist doing so and I must say he is ace started at 3 and had it out not even 15 minutes with a bit of cleaning waiting on my mouth to go num 3 hours later and you wouldn't think that I've had the tooth removed in all honesty he's great at his job with a great personality. My oldest son had two wobbledy 1st teeth he's ten and no problem to the dentist had them out and my son came out smiling. So this is why I'm giving 5 star where it due

Positive experience: Edit: new dentist was amazing and her absolutely amazing dental nurse. So kind and caring. Sorted all problems pregnancy brought to my teeth Waited 1 year for an appointment finally got one, to be told it was never booked in properly. Took a bad tooth during pregnancy as was so sick and now totally wrecked. In agony all the time. Place is a joke. Avoid

Negative experience: CHANGING DENTISTS!!! Normally arrive on time and the dentist is 10 minutes late for us but today arrived 3 mins late and the receptionist told us we could not be taken although the dentist was free and no one in the waiting room!! Do NOT recommend, constantly cancelling appointments!

Negative experience: Would not even give 1 star if possible. The clock in the waiting room is 10 minutes fast. My son and I were 5 minutes late and we were told we were too late and would not be taken!!! When we got back to the car it was 7 minutes past our appointment time!!! Absoloutely disgusted. I may have slightly understood if it was busy but the waiting room was empty!! We are changing dentist.

Negative experience: This place is a joke Poor work Poor service Poor attitude AVOID AVOID AVOID Lots of other properly run dentists in Ballymoney!

Negative experience: Nearly flaming killed me.. I saw the dentist Sarah last Tuesday. I informed the dentist that my asthma had become Brittle, and I was on a lot of medication. However, this wasn't taken into consideration when I was treated. The Dental Nurse stunk of heavy perfume, and the Nurse sprayed Ice Cold water into my mouth. I struggled throughout to breathe. When I was allowed out of the chair. I struggled still. I explained all of this to the dentist she said "you're ok now though, no harm done". Ice cold water is a trigger for Brittle asthmatics to have an asthma attack, and it to progress to status (That is where, the person goes into an asthma attack, that they don't come out of, and have to be intubated). It can and will kill a lot of severe asthmatics. The staff should inform the person before they put ice cold water into someone's mouth. I actually walked out of the surgery and had a severe asthma attack, that left me ill for days. The staff doesn't know anything about asthma. The dentist was very blase. I do hope the staff familarise themselveswith brittle asthma as next time you will certainly kill one of us. Then a lawsuit will be in their hands.

Negative experience: January 2015. I don't like having the bottom of my mouth pulled whilst cleaning my teeth for tartar.Her assistant was pressing a vacuum tube down hard in my mouth too.This made me uncomfortable and my mouth ache.They wanted to give me an injection to numb my mouth but i refused further treatment.The Dentist stated whilst holding a syringe for protection that by not having treatment fully done would be like smashing your teeth in by falling on your face and recommended that i saw another dentist in the practice.This is a sort of threat.I have never experienced this with dentists in my life time until now. This is abuse of patient care,I don't recommend your services.
