Fantastic experience: Very friendly helpful receptionist, made us feel at ease. Deserves a promotion. Also friendly hygienist did a thorough job.

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff in here, always helpful.

Negative experience: booked in for a checkup, told them I want to see a dentist, NOT A HYGIENIST ? got a call to say i'd a checkup and hygienist, they tried to add an extra ,,, ie £70 hygienist, I said no I just want a full checkup, went to my appointment, and there was a hygienist to check my teeth, I told then I wanted them checked by a fully qualified dentist, they said i was being aggressive for just telling them what I'd asked for, I walked out and am putting a complaint in.

Negative experience: My daughter has been experiencing dental issues which Andrew had put on file as needing three monthly appointments and this was not to be altered or deleted. She has had every appointment cancelled since before Christmas. She made an appointment last Thursday for today at 2pm as her day off and the receptionist hung up on me this morning when I said the appointment was not to be cancelled as Andrew stated. The appointment is with a dental therapist who isn’t prepared to wait and do his job just so he can have the afternoon off.

Positive experience: Wonderful team to support all my needs and concerns. My treatment has been first class and would highly recommend if you need a local dentist with first rate service.

Fantastic experience: Had a Hygiene check up and have had regular check ups throughout the years. The staff are always calm and considerate especially the receptionists

Negative experience: What a joke! No ‘NHS’ dentist. Only a dental therapist. Can’t even write a prescription and extractions to be referred to north Devon. I was told I had to pay for a private prescription to be written or go elsewhere, don’t even get me started on the receptionist x

Negative experience: Edited to add: Dental appointments have now been cancelled and was told theyd call to re arrange. Its been a month. Im in pain and thought i was finally getting help. They haven't answered email or phone. I was so anxious and scared but Andrew made me feel at ease. I cried realising everything that is wrong with my teeth however Andrew reassured me and gave me a positive outlook on the situation so I left feeling so much better. Actually looking forward to future appointments now after being dental phobic for 14 years!

Negative experience: They never answer calls, emails, voice messages. A lot of problems with plans and payments. The Dentist and Hygienist are incredibly good but the reception and administration are a disaster. I'm gonna cancel my plan and start looking somewhere else

Negative experience: Without a doubt, this has been the worst medical experience for a very long time. It took me 3 weeks to get an appointment & then they changed the date & scammed me out if my £66 deposit. I'm so upset with this whole process & my tooth is still killing me. Not happy at all

Negative experience: Never answer the phone been trying to get my self a emergency appointment and my kids in for a check up useless tried emailing the email wont go thro cant get a new nhs dentist what are you ment to do??

Negative experience: My son had an initial check up over a year ago now and since that all his appointments have been cancelled and they never answer their phone. It’s actually been pointless him having a dentist as he never gets to see them!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I was in a real mess when i got there. Had a back tooth out. I was made to feed calm under pressure. Had to go back after for infection. Was put right with antibiotics.

Fantastic experience: Recently been seen by this dentist ... They are absolutely amazing ..specially the dentist who fixed me teeth

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency appointment this morning. I’m terrified of dentists but was made to feel at ease. The dentist and nurse were so patient with me as I was a nervous wreck.

Negative experience: I've been with quay for 12 yrs now under NHS. Now my oppointment is on hold because the NHS dentist one only is fully booked they are waiting for a new one could be couple of months yet. So because smile closed dwn all the patients have come over to Quay. Amd now people who go to quay are pushed out not happy at all after 12 yrs of been a patient wether NHS or not I'm not happy at all

Fantastic experience: I don’t have a dentist and had a problem with a tooth over Christmas I was fortunate to get seen by a great dentist Andrew at the practice who was able to extract tooth pain free. Thank you.

Negative experience: Used to be great, but have been going downhill for a while, sadly. I have been a private patient here for half of my life, so I do not write this review lightly. The staff are friendly enough and their work good, but appointments are constantly being cancelled (both private and NHS). This has been the case for many years now. Keeping a hygienist also seems to be an issue for them and the root of the majority of my complaints. If you like to have regular cleans and dont like having your appointments regularly dropped, I cannot recommend this surgery. Edit: My childs NHS appointment has just been cancelled for the 4th time in a row. The dentist they were due to see has been ill on the day the last three times, and we were informed just hours before the appointment. For context, these appointments were just weeks apart.

Negative experience: I am appalled by this dentist. Our dentist closed without any warning. No email, no phone call nothing and merged with these. My partner is now in chronic pain with a loose tooth that our dentist were meant to take out over a month ago but cancelled due to shortages and now they will not see him. Absolutely disgusting

Negative experience: The dentist & staff are good but the phone number is terrible, never any reply so can’t cancel or book an appointment unless you go in in person. I did mention this when I went in & they said others had complained but a couple of months on the phone line is the same!! Very frustrating I did leave a message on contact us form but no reply from that either. Please can someone sort this out??

Fantastic experience: Went for a root canal today absolutely fantastic no pain whatsoever Andrew and his assistant.

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient, hate needles. Had an appointment with Tom today was shaking like a leaf, on entering the practice was greeted by 2 lovely receptionists, Tom came down to reception met me took me to the consultation room and I can honestly say he was so informative on what I needed doing, put me at ease, explained everything, left feeling so much calmer, I have 3 more appointments booked and I feel fine about going.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment today and I was made to feel so welcome. The two receptionists were so helpful and friendly. Andrew my dentist was also very welcoming, thorough and informative. So far so good

Fantastic experience: Staffs are nice and care about you, clear communication, from my experience second time going after 3 years it's the same place and I needed my teeth cleaned it was painful but they did clean and the place is clean and there is ramp access if needed.

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous Dental Patient and Dentist Tom and Sophie, Toms nurse were absolutely fantastic when I had a Wisdom Tooth Extraction this week. I have no hesitation in returning for further treatment and infact have already booked next appointments in. Thank you

Negative experience: A PLACE OF TORTURE I WENT FOR EMERGENCY treatment i am 79 year old the room they took me in had NO dental equipment in it just an old dental couch a old dental light the room was all wihte it turnd out to be a room of torture theinjections were ramed into my gums so hard the pain was excurciating then he tuggedat the tooth for some time till there was a bang the tooth was now out i had to go through it alloaer it again then the 3rd tooth he could not do it would not freeze so it still in NOW the side of my face is in pain donw into my throat and can eat any food with out pain so if you A NHS patient BEWARE

Fantastic experience: I think a few of the reviews on here are extremely un-fair and do not accurately portray the practise. All of the staff I dealt with during my appointment were very smiley, welcoming and polite from start to finish. I had a consultation for composite bonding with Kamil, unfortunately I was not a suitable candidate for the proposed treatment but the reasons why were explained clearly and in great detail. Kamil then filed a few of my teeth to improve their shape which made a drastic difference and I am very happy with :-)

Negative experience: My mum wanted to get her teeth fixed they only have one dentist who is horrible and has no bedside manner at all. She was referred to the hospital the hospital told her she has to go back to the dentist. Dentist has then told her to go back to the hospital. No one there seems to have a clue how to help and the dentist there needs to be fired as she has no compassion or empathy and doesn’t be care about her patients.

Negative experience: Some of the Staff are very polite, one time during covid I had to ring for an emergency as I had an abscess and he said it wasn't an emergency so he couldn't do anything about it until I was in pain basically. I will be going private and hopefully will get a better out come from my teeth. Wasn't very happy with the way he spoke to me either telling me it wasn't an emergency when Clearly an abscess is.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tomas Perez Lorenzo Is a legend. My wife got here teeth done and we wouldn’t ever go to any other dentist. 5 star quality!
