Deane Dental Practice

Negative experience: I've had a good experience with them in the past. My wife and kid's are registered there, but they were only too happy to give me the boot when I missed 2 appointments 11 months apart because of health or work constraints. Nothing i say will get them to re-register me. Extremely annoying.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth out today and the female dentist and her assistant (not sure of their names sorry) who removed it, were really good and really put me at ease, it was the best experience ive had when having an extraction so thank you both

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extraction and a clean today and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. David Appiah and Poppy were absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, they were professional, calm and incredibly patient. Everything was explained clearly, which really helped put me at ease. The dentist took the time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure and regularly checked that I was doing okay. What stood out most was how supported and reassured I felt during the whole visit. Dental treatments can be quite daunting, but the care, patience and professionalism shown made the experience much easier than I expected. I’m really grateful for such excellent care and would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist who genuinely looks after their patients.

Negative experience: BEWARE OF THESE BUTCHERS!! The level of care at this place is disgusting. They do work on your mouth without telling you the consequences of that work and the problems it could cause. They have seriously bad attitudes and are extremely defensive when it is brought up with them and I was told 'you asked for it'. They refuse to provide contact details to make a formal complaint so I have contacted the CQC, GMPatient services and I have had to involve the Police and a Solicitor. I have also had to make an SAR for a copy of their CCTV due to the lies of the receptionist. DO NOT ALLOW THESE PEOPLE ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR MOUTH!!!!!!!

Negative experience: My husband went as an emergency today, but as the only place for an emergency dental appointment was this practice (we live on the other side of Bolton) he had to travel to this dentist. He had trouble finding the place because we are over 11 miles away and do not know the area, and when he was a few minutes late due to having no idea where it was they said they wouldn't see him. He's been to A&E, the gp and they both said get to the emergency dentist. This being the ONLY place available we had to take it. The least they could have done was to check him over. I am absolutely fuming. He needs antibiotics and not one NHS system has helped him.

Fantastic experience: I am forever grateful to Dr Mehreen Haq for her exceptional treatment over the last six years, she is the most skilled hard working dentist I have ever come across and her nurse Blerina is also brilliant and very caring. Thank you both very much.

Positive experience: Today was my 1st time meeting Dr Naima Al Gwil and she's a 5*- she is professional, kind, caring and such a warm beautiful spirit. Within seconds of meeting her my anxiety was alleviate. The assistant who was with her was lovely as well - She creates an environment where it doesn't matter what challenges you have you're in the right place and that's okay. Dr Robert McGregor was also lovely but I haven't seen him in a while. They also have a lovely receptionist Emma, who is usually kind and warm. The challenges that I have had have been with cancelled appointments, hence the 4 star.

Negative experience: the service is so bad, one day you cant make an appointment because their system is down. then the other day when you come ''3'' minutes late for your appointment was not allowed in. the forms for ''covid 19'' that needs to be filled out was never sent which they have also used as an excuse not to allow you in. this came from the dentist herself.

And the service I received was excellent ayesha Hassan and her colleague were brilliant great at there work made me feel calm relaxed and did excellent job would definitely recommend this practice.

Positive experience: Been going to this dentist for a number of years and never had any issues. Practice is nice & clean never had problems getting an appointment. But the best thing are all the staff that work there, very friendly, polite & courteous. Dentists also take the time to explain what they are doing, what you can do yourself to improve your dental hygiene in a polite way. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Deane Dental for several years and always received excellent treatment.All the reception staff are lovely and my dentist Rakhee is amazingly patient,kind and gentle as i am a nervous patient- legacy of school dentists in the 1970s! I have recently had a tooth infection which has been very unpleasant.I have been granted emergency appointments and precribed antibiotics.i am due to have the offending tooth extracted in january but today Rakhee kindly re-arranged her appointments so that i can have the extraction in a weeks time after this course of antibiotics.i am very grateful for this and will be able to enjoy my Christmas pain free.Thank you all- much appreciated.You all make a visit to the dentist less stressful as everyone is friendly and welcoming.Well done! xxx

Fantastic experience: This practice is wonderful. I can’t stress enough how friendly and understanding the staff are. Especially with nervous patients and children. I hadn’t visited a dentist for 15 years after a bad experience, and now the entire family are patients here. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dental surgery. The reception staff are always very helpful and friendly. The treatment I recieved for a tooth extraction from Ayesha was amazing. So gentle, she explained the procedure in full. I had no pain or discomfort, even when she numbed the area. I can't recommend this practice enough!! Thank you.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with their timing policies. Despite being a few minutes late due to traffic, I was turned away. I been sit there for more than half an hour from my original appointment time. This policy lacks understanding and flexibility for customers who travel for appointments with young children. According to them they gives 10 minutes for an appointment and as we are 7 minutes late there is not enough time to check up.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with my recent visit. Used to be a loyal customer with a 5-star review. However, last Tuesday's appointment experience was unacceptable. Despite being a few minutes late due to traffic, I was turned away, even though there was availability later. This rigid policy lacks understanding and flexibility for customers who travel for appointments. Disappointed with the lack of consideration and apparent double standard regarding punctuality, as I couldn't care to count how many times in the past I had to wait 10-15 for my appointments.

Negative experience: Sara ruined my teeth, damaged my perfectly fine filling, had traumatic experience.charged me for services they didn't even give e.g scaling, the fillings done make bite so painful and uncomfortable and damaged my healthy teeth ,Wouldn't go back .giving one star for the receptionist, the only person who knows how to do her job well.

Fantastic experience: Took my three children for checkup yesterday!!! The dentist was absolutely brilliant with her communication with the kids about the importance of brushing teeth...would highly recommend. 2 yes from the wife 2 from me makes 4 yeses!!!!
