Fantastic experience: I am so pleased I decided to go ahead with my implant with Dr Gaya. It was a difficult decision to go ahead with as it was very new to me. Dr Gaya put me at ease and carried out the procedure efficiently. She has a quiet, knowledgeable and caring manner. All staff were professional and warm. I can smile again and I do. It has changed my life.

Fantastic experience: As a former nervous dental patient I cannot speak highly enough of this practice. I have just had an Implant and was absolutely dreading it. Dr Gaya was absolutely amazing though and I can only say 'no pain, big gain!'. I can honestly say my nervousness has completely gone and I will never again dread visiting my dentist. Everyone there is amazing and the care and consideration given is first class.

Negative experience: Charged £90 upfront, refuse to refund me when they rescheduled my emergency appointment for 4 weeks time after the tiniest bit of snow cancelled my original appt. Told I was a liar over the phone by reception. You’re private you know? Not NHS.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gaya is an excellent dentist...best I've ever had...ably assisted by Lucy. My implant surgery is a work of art. She explains everything in detail as the procedure goes on. I've had five implants with more planned. I can't recommend the practice highly enough and Dr. Gaya in particular.

Fantastic experience: Gaya sorted out an implant and crown for one of my front teeth which had broken. Not cheap but very professional and I'm very pleased with the result.

Everything was clearly explained and costed at the outset, and the treatment, care and technology were outstanding throughout. It’s quite a long process to allow periods of healing between appointments, but well worth it in terms of quality of life – I can eat normally now! Thanks, Gaya, and all the team!

Negative experience: Turned up for appointment to be told the dentist wasn't in and would be at least half an hour. Told I could wait or come back. Top tip ring your customers, courtesy goes a long way. You are private not NHS.

Fantastic experience: This isn't your usual review but the staff here deserve recognition! I have been coming here for the last year and I have always been impressed with how friendly everyone is. My dentist Zafran Ashraf and his assistant have been amazing with me from day one and the work they do is top quality. I went in on Thursday for an appointment and after laying down I immediately had to sit back up as I had an awful pain coming from my chest and I was out of breath. I tried again but clearly something was wrong, Zafran tried to call his wife who is a doctor for medical advice. I was then taken into reception to reschedule my appointment but the ladies behind the desk told me to sit down for 5 minutes and have a glass of water. They then went round to ask the doctors next door if someone can check me out. I was going to go home and ring my GP but Zafran insisted on driving me to pinderfields A + E. It's a good job he did because I've been diagnosed with pericarditis and I had to stay overnight and I've had more bloods taken to check for other problems. It would of been so easy for them to reschedule my appointment and let me go but the fact every single one the staff cared and were concerned about me and went extra lengths to help means a lot. Thank you Sandal dental care who knows what would of happened if you guys didn't step in!

Negative experience: Unless you are an already registered patient, I wouldn't speak with this dentist. They are unwilling and/or unable to deal with emergencies for non registered patients.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to say a massive thank you to Altaf and all the staff at Sandal Dental Care during my Six months smile treatment. All the staff were extremely helpful throughout my treatment especially with my work constrictions and needing specific appointment time. I want them all to know how much I appreciate that. I had the six months smile before I got married earlier on in the year and it really helped with my confidence on the day and ever since. I can finally smile properly. Thank you again everyone.
