Fantastic experience: Fabulous dentist, kind and gentle, suffered no pain and everything explained from entering the surgery. Dental nurse was very good too, surgery is spotlessly clean leading from the reception. Receptionist was amazing from phone call to arrival and as I was nervous had a little chat. Highly recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: I booked in for an extraction due to severe pain. When I went to my appointment, not only did I leave with the tooth still in, but I had a lovely £3500 dental plan in my hand too. I will have to spend another £61 for another appointment to get the tooth extracted, as well as £259 for the extraction (even though I was told by the receptionist it was £180). To enter with hope and to leave with the crushing despair of a huge bill is NOT the effect a successful dental system should have. Thank God I live in India where professional dental help is given for a fraction of this. N.B. I was seen by Dr Cristina

Fantastic experience: When i tell you i am petrified of the dentist, I am petrified. I had a tooth causing me a lot of pain and it had to come out. The wait time for sedation was months and I knew I couldn't wait. Cristina was AMAZING. I never felt the needle that numbs you, she allowed me the time to tell her when I felt numb enough before she started. I didnt feel rushed. The place and all the staff accommodated my need to use what I had to, to get through it, in my case, headphones, music and ear defenders. They even called a few days later to make sure I was ok. I cannot thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: Never a bad experience. For the 4 appointments I attended there was never an issue. They allowed me to be seen early. The facilities kept to a high level of cleanliness and staff are well spoken and respectful.

Fantastic experience: Visted my dentist Friday 24th May 24, great welcome from reception staff.Had my appointment with Kristina she was so professional at showing me my xrays and explaining what I needed to do to get back on track with hygiene routine and also she gave me the airflow clean which is amazing....hopefully in 3 months when I go back she will see a difference my oral hygiene is.Highly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I am certainly not a dentist lover but i needed some treatment and managed to get a NHS appointment at this dentist. I explained to the dentist how nervous and anxious i was, terrified is the word!!!!! Throughout my treatment everything was explained and was also shown the utensils she was going to use she kept giving words of encouragement and was very patient with me, I want to thank you for making me believe in Dentists again Thank you. Negative experience: This dentist did some treatment for me needed to go back for some treatment told me will not do it as I’m registered at Bolton on Dearne my dentist which as now closed down this is the same company but they will not see me shocking company ask you to pay at this moment I’m in pain so what I do NHS is not for UK people but foreigners

Negative experience: Phoned to make an app with a dentist for my mum weeks ago only for her to arrive today and the receptionist turn her away because “someone rang to cancel yesterday” we obviously had not received a cancellation confirmation by text or email! No one has all of her personal details to be able to pass the DPA to cancel anything. The nurse on the phone who sounded fed up & confused said the person who cancelled this on the system was not in today and she doesn’t know anything or can’t do anything about it other than the fact shes booked another app & wrote on the system if another cancellation call is made the office will call the number on the system to confirm this. I would like to know what will be done about the clear DPA breach? Apparently none of the calls are recorded & they’re unable to find the number that called, so this has been either done on purpose by someone in the office or it would have been a clear breach of data protection both of which need to be rectified by someone other than receptionists as they’ve said they can’t do anything.

Positive experience: Excellent care and treatment. I attended here from another surgery of My Dentist for required dental procedures and I was made very welcome, comfortable and felt very confident about the treatment I was given. All the staff were very reassuring and friendly. A great team !!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Cristina Michiu (upstairs) is undoubtably the best dentist I've ever had. I've been a customer (and my wife) for many years here and not once have I (or my family) had any problems after her procedures. The staff are caring & polite, there is no messing around & I've had no pain ever after treatment (that includes many fillings, 3 root canals & more). Cristina is even that good, that I can say I've almost never felt any pain during treatment, that's without injections too.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment today 2 extractions, a filling and polish I can honestly say this is the best dental treatment I have had ( am 60+) I had to wait for the appointment a while but can only be expected at the present health issues. My health safety was a no1 priority at the clinic. Well done Mydentist (Lunwood)

Negative experience: About as useful as a chocolate teapot. I was referred by 111 as I had chipped my tooth, and they asked for a photo of the tooth to assess. I was willing but asked what would happen as a result of a dentist reviewing it. I was told no face to face appointments were possible, even in an emergency, and nothing would be done. I feel the level of care was very poor. Reception also disclosed to me that they are unlikely to open as they cannot afford PPE at this time, which she then blamed on shortages... I have found so many businesses like this are using Covid-19 as an excuse to be bone idle and do very little, while still on full pay.

Negative experience: Very rude staff I had a infection that they missed was in pain for 2 weeks when back and they said yes you have bad infection on my next visit I forgot to take payment I was refused to be seen even tho they knew I was in lots of pain and bloke on counter needs knocking down a peg or two they just money grabbers advice would be avoid

Fantastic experience: I have been very nervous about visiting the dentist after many years of not having one. Really pleasant receptionist on both visits, the dentist and her assistant calmed me down and the time flew by. I have had so many procedures carried out on my teeth and gums since childhood that I honestly dreaded my visits but after this I will keep going.

Negative experience: Terrible reception service and the dentist said I needed 4 fillings and a repair to my denture.went to a second dentist.....no fillings required and a full denture replacement.and why ask all patients to return at 3 mth intervals money grabbers and not patient friendly..if you need a dentist (a good one).DON'T GO HERE.

Speedy, professional service given. Would highly recommend. Found my new dentist,local too so that’s a bonus.

Negative experience: Dentist was rude and hard to understand. Was told I would be attending a whitening consultation event but it was actually just a 1 sentence: this is what whitening is. Very poor service.

Negative experience: When I were pregnant, I had to go to dentist to show few halls in my teeth, he filled it up with temporary fillings and booked me in to fix it properly after I give a birth. We even spoke about filling types. After I had a baby, my teeth become very sensitive and started to be painfull. I came back to clinic with a big hope my teeth will be finaly fixed. I found out previos dentist not working there any more, so I had to wait another week. Finally I get to dentist, had 2 injections and it didn't help, because while drilling I was still in pain. So on my infected tooth she put some medicine and filling. I was in pain for 2 weeks, finaly get back and said that, so she said, owww, I have ro reffer you to specialist. What??? So if you not the specialist, why you even touched it? Guess what? After 2 or 3 months, I can see the specialist! What??? With the pain, when I cannot sleep at night with my little baby on my hands!!! Nearly May now, first appoitment I had in March. Would like to say all stuff just friendly, but where the skills and profesional dentist? How dentist could say: go to privat, if you want quick help. Do we all paying taxes just for rubbish to be removed from our streets? I'm so dissapointed... I don't know whom to blame... Practice or nhs... still in pain...
