Fantastic experience: Mr Bhandal did a very quick extraction very pleasant

Fantastic experience: Needed root removal my own dentist had broken off. All painless and carried out with sensitivity and professionalism by Mr Bhandal. Receptionists very friendly, polite and helpful. Dental nurse team lovely and clear explanations of after care. If I lived closer I’d sign on with them.

Fantastic experience: I came for my regular check up and as usual the experience was fantastic! The practice is very busy but I was still seen quickly. The receptionist, dentist and nurse were all friendly and professional. My check up and clean were very thorough. Thank you to everyone, brilliant customer service.

Negative experience: Bare in mind, this is an student training centre, The actual dentist see patient for few minutes, aprove treatment and go away. Return to check the result. Not happy with the approach and attitude. Would not recommend to one. Sadly for me it was an emergency appointment and awful experience.

Fantastic experience: I had a brilliant experience at this practice, I had a wisdom tooth with roots touching nerve and had multiple practitioners in my home town of Cheltenham decline removing the tooth due to the high risk of nerve damage, I travelled over to Birmingham and after only seeing me once Mr Bhandal willingly took on the challenge and has successfully removed my tooth. After suffering for over a year it was such a relief to finally have the tooth out. He was extremely reassuring and made the experience as pleasant as possible. I would definitely recommend his services.

Positive experience: My husband was referred here by his own dentist due to needing a complex wisdom tooth removed. I thought that I'd have time for a look round Tesco and get some petrol (only 2 minutes walk from the dentist) when he rang to say it was done, in and out in less than 10 minutes, he said that the dentist Mugda and her dental nurse were amazing and that after the injection he felt a bit of proding and didn't even realise that the tooth had already been removed. The only negative that I have is that it took over 45 minutes to get through to them on the phone.

Negative experience: I had a tooth removed at Netherton branch was referred to cradley for an x-ray about other wisdom teeth 4 months ago now to see if it can be done at bhandals or i need an operation. ive never been contacted since. I've rang on multiple occasions waited 30 minutes after being 20th in the queue only to have the phone put down on me as I'm reaching the front of the queue this level of service isn't good enough I'm finding time out my working day to ring and getting no where !

Fantastic experience: Petrified having back tooth removed, very near sinus,s , with JORSEYT ???, all i can say is HE WAS PERFECT EXPLAINING AND VERY GENTLE WITH ME, HONESTLEY NEVER EVEN FELT THE 2 INJECTIONS I CARNT PRAISE HIM ENOUGH, with people like me who are scared stiff this young man was an ANGLE

Negative experience: Absolute worst dentist in history, my partner had two wisdom teeth removed on his right side. Ever since had nothing but trouble. Been in and out of hospital. Dentist several times. In the waiting room at the dentist were several people with problems after being at this place. He’s had an infection that’s spread into his ear, can’t close his jaw at all and it’s now wonky. Can’t clench his jaw. Before this was never an issue. Physically can’t touch teeth now. We are now hitting a month (heeling time) and still no improvement. Now being referred to dental hospital as this is now an immediate concern as symptoms are getting worse not better. On arrival there was no order in this place was absolutely jam packed. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!! YOU WILL LEAVE WITH MORE PROBLEMS.

Negative experience: Can never get through to them on the phone,says your caller whatever usually says number don't know if this is some sort of trick the receptionist use, to get you off the phone, no matter what time of day you call, if I hadn't already paid for my treatment I would go elsewhere

Negative experience: I was referred here as a nervous patient by my Dentist for a complicated tooth extraction. I was immediately put off by the volume of patients in reception, it was like a cattle market. When I was seen by the dentist they didn't explain any of the procedure with me

Negative experience: Very disappointed so far. Very rude receptionist when I attended a few weeks ago. Today I tried to call to rearrange an appointment, waited in the telephone queue for 40 minutes only for the call to finally get through, and hear receptionist having a personal conversation, when she realised I had come through and had been there for a few seconds she released the call. Absolute joke

Fantastic experience: I was extremely happy with bhandal he done my job quick and good.

Negative experience: Crowded waiting area downstairs, but when you are in pain and waiting to be helped you tell yourself that’s a small price to pay. But the attitude of some of the staff (not receptionists, they were all lovely), the main dentists left a lot to be desired. Even Dentist Bhandal himself.

Fantastic experience: Was referred by my dentist. Had an excellent assessment and today had a tooth extraction I was impressed with the way the extraction carried out, no gum damage just brilliant. The nurse (I think she was) was lovely. Would recommend. I observed reception and how patients were called to appointment, all with smiles. Truly outstanding experience considering what I had done.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this place by my regular dentist for a wisdom tooth extraction assessment. I must admit I wasn't overjoyed about being sent somewhere so far away from home. Furthermore, when I got there, I wasn't impressed with the chaotic reception queuing system. However, once I started dealing with the treatment staff, the service vastly improved. I was treated in a warm, friendly, professional manner. On the day of the procedure, I was a little apprehensive that the extraction would be complicated. Well, I shouldn't have been concerned. Once the extraction area was numbed with a local anaesthetic, the surgeon Dr Bhandal (who's a character) walked in and whipped that tooth out in around 10 seconds flat. No pain, no fumbling, no complications. I was impressed and told him as much. If you need to have an extraction, I highly recommend this guy. He knows what he's going.

Negative experience: I had a smooth experience at this dentist the last time I visited, but this time was absolutely horrible. I went in to have a wisdom tooth removed and was treated with no care or compassion. I tolo them I was in pain, and they just kept digging at it. The dentist didn't stop or even check in with me-they showed no concern at all. I have anxiety, and they completely ignored that too. The procedure was carried out by the owner, Mr. Bhandal, who was rude, cocky, and clearly has no care for his patients. His attitude made an already stressful situation so much worse. Now I've got bruising on my eyelid and around my eye, my shoulder is aching, and I feel like I've been through a traumatic experience. I was supposed to be sedated and told I wouldn't remember anything, but I remember everything. So clearly the sedation didn't work, and I had to go through the entire procedure fully aware and in pain. This experience has completely traumatised me. I'm now terrified of dentists and won't ever be going back there—or to any dentist— because of how badly I was treated. I expected basic care, professionalism, and compassion-and I got none of that.

Fantastic experience: I was referred there by my normal dental practice. It's a large busy practice. I found the receptionists very friendly and helpful and the dental service was very good. Parking is plentiful at the nearby Tesco.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with extractions. Didn't explain anything to me before hand. Said they would but gave me the injection and I don't remember anything else until after. My partner was called back in at the tail end of me having after care explained to me (I was sedated and have no recollection of this) also 18 months later I'm still having fragments of the teeth coming our my gums because they left so much behind.

Negative experience: Awful place always packed like a tin of sardines always late with treatments no communication with hospitals when being referred for treatments just want as many patients as possible to get as much money as possible but no real patient care

Negative experience: Horrible dental nurse assessed me and thought it was appropriate to ask me to stop crying as it was taxing on her job. Accused me of being angry and aggressive when I could only give one word response due to pain and infection level. Instead of kindly asking to put my phone away 'was just sending a quick message to someone on time frame' I was grabbed and placed in front of a no phone's sign in the most patronising way. When I apologies and asked to be let go of I was huffed at as though I was a child. Hygiene levels disgusting durt splattered on dental lights, floors and walls fifthly. Was challenged when I asked to not be sedated and nurse continued to only discuss risks which I challenged as no reassurance was given. I explained this was making me anxious (I am not an anxious dental patient historically) to then be told I was being aggressive. Was given a date for 48 hour extraction however due to feeling completely unsafe cancelled this (reguadless of being in agony and struggling to swallow) and attended Scott Arms private dental practice who were amazing. Huge emphasis was given on risk of long term nervedamage and post infection explained as being normal. However following going to a private dentist only 5% of tooth removals have post infection. To me this again highlights worry around why are their infection rates considered 'normal to them' Would never recommend recommend this practice. Would give 0 stars. Hygiene needs exploring ASAP

He is unable to bite with them and was told he has to pay for new ones even tho he never got to use the first set he paid for. Negative experience: Would never recommend here to anyone anymore,my daughter visited last week to have 2 teeth out,they made a mess of it from start to finish dental assistant was telling her basically she was being dramatic as she was still in pain only to discover she had numbed the wrong side of her mouth my daughter is traumatised

My son had too many teeth as he needs braces, and he had a tooth on the roof of his mouth. Which was very tricky too get out, there was 4 that needed to be removed but Mr.Bhandal was so professional as we're his staff. Very kind to my son and myself. Everything went very well. My son and I are very grateful. I would highly recommend Bhandel Dental Practice.

Negative experience: Dentist is a waste of time you be on the phone for 40mins trying to get through to make an appointment you get 1st in the que then they put the phone down on you so you have to ring back. People be in pain last thing they want to do is keep ringing up and waiting to book an appointment its the worst dentist ever

Negative experience: I have been referred here my normal dentist and been trying to call them. On hold for an hour with no answer - 3 times is absolutely ridiculous. No other way of contacting them. So asking my dentist to refer elsewhere!!!

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth removed by Mr. Bhandal. The whole procedure was painless. The dentists and staffs were very kind and re assuring. Though the tooth seemed difficult to remove on xray, Mr. Bhandal took it out easily.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist for years, as be neurodivergent has made me really anxious to go. But I can honestly say to anyone else that is worried don’t be as the dentist was really nice and informative on my oral health. I mean the taste of the gloves and water being flushing in mouth during clean is a challenge but it was quick and painless and I feel really pleased I built up the courage to go.

Negative experience: Couple of weeks ago I had my braces removed. Although the waiting time was quite fast, the actual experiences with care of removing them then information needed on how to maintain them where’s unclear. The process of removing the with care, was not considered ended up cutting me on one part of the mouth. Felt like being rushed and removed was quite infuriating.

Fantastic experience: I was referred from my own practice. I came here on the 2nd I've may. To have 9 extractions done and have immediate dentures put in .my anxiety was really bad. I can honestly say. Didn't feel a thing. Don't rember going into the after care room. Since Friday I've had no pain. Just normal swelling ..I want to thank the team so much for giving my smile back. Fantastic experience: I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff here at this dental practice. I have been suffering with an infection for months and have been to several emergency dentists to try and get it sorted and to try and get my tooth extracted to no avail. I was even recommended getting sedated as previous dentists hadn't managed to take my tooth out. I registered here and within a week I was seen and my tooth had been taken out. I would like to say a thank you in particular to the young lady who saw me initially with the dark hair on the Wednesday who managed to book me in for a tooth extraction for the Saturday after seeing how bad my infection was. I would like to say a massive thank you to Swasti and Rimsha. When I got in the room Rimsha was very comforting and put me at ease and made sure to encourage me throughout the procedure. Swasti, who removed my tooth, was so friendly and made sure I was pain free before starting anything. He made sure to ask if I was okay before starting which helped incredibly with the nerves. I was in and out in 10mins. It was incredible. Very efficient and pain free. I will be recommending to everyone

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal treatment by Dr Mubin and crown done by Dr. Balbir Bhandal and was very impressed with the care and professionalism throughout. The procedure was smooth and pain-free, and the crown feels great. The staff is very kind made me very comfortable. The practice is clean and highly equipped. Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Balbir Bhandal and their team. I went in for dental fillings, and from start to finish, the process was smooth and professional. They took the time to explain everything, made sure I was comfortable, and they even gave me the options for sedation as well. I didn’t wanted to have the sedation and the actual procedure was quick and painless. The results look and feel great, I can hardly tell I had any work done! The clinic is clean, modern, there is a lovely fish pond in the reception area and the staff are genuinely kind and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone needing dental care.

Fantastic experience: I got referred here for sedation as I am an extremely nervous patient. Mr bhandal and the dentist were very efficient and caring towards myself, didn't feel a thing and the sedation worked a treat! Fantastic experience: I came here today for three extractions (one upper left milk incisor and both upper premolars) and despite my very extreme anxiety (I am 19) the dentists were very gentle and explained what would happen during the extractions. I did request IV sedation because of my anxiety and was pleasantly surprised that I have no recollection of the procedure whatsoever. I apologise to the wonderful people at Bhandal Dental Surgery for the many questions I asked, which unfortunately I do not remember the answers to! Thank you all for your patience and kindness in dealing with me. I would recommend this practice to anyone anxious about dental work they need to undergo.

Negative experience: I wouldn't even give a full star for the state this dentist has left my mouth I was referred here by brierley hill bhandal for tooth extraction comments while I'm sedated I won't remember I do remember everything I have a photographic memory and I now had a terrible infection in my gums due to incompetence of not even checking teeth were fully extracted. I was anxious enough for having this procedure done this is why. Absolutely disgusting

Negative experience: What a waste of time. This practice is almost impossible to get through to on the phone and delights in putting off potential customers with delaying tactics. It all started when I filled in an online form for treatment with sedation in February. I heard nothing so rang. On the second day of trying to get through, I was told my own dentist (I live in Telford) would have to refer me. He did and finally he received an email back to say I would get a reply within 2 weeks. When I chased it up I was told the receptionist could see nothing online but I needed to wait a few more days, just be patient and they would contact me. I emailed explaining I needed an answer because my tooth was getting worse. Then I received a reply stating they were too busy and were not taking on new sedation patients. Mind you, having read one of two of the reviews, I was already wondering if this was the right dentist for my treatment. As soon as I heard I contacted a dentist north of Telford who were immediately able to offer me a review appointment. My advice, don't waste your time with Bhandal.

Negative experience: Would give zero stars if I could. Was referred to here to have a total of four teeth out which I was meant to be sedated. Both times I turned up they tried to say it wasn't booked in with sedation even though I 100% booked it on my first visit as the dentist put me into shock. Despite telling them on my first visit I really wanted to be sedated as it takes me ages to go numb the dentist proceeded to extract two front teeth even though I said I was not fully numb I felt everything, which sente into mild shock. I had two bottom front teeth out and he jabbed me three times on the soft part on the roof of my mouth he needs sacking absolute cowboy. Second time I was waiting well over an hour to find out that I wouldn't be sedated again even after getting cowboy dentist to book it in as so. If your nervous of the dentists avoid this place at all costs dentist blamed me for being in shock after his shoddy work. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Needs looking into this branch

Negative experience: I had an appointment in blackheath new dentist said my teeth were amazing! 2 weeks later I had to go to cradley heath practice 3 fillings and a tooth removed my 3 dentist 9 injections had no after care the week after I had to go to an emergency dentist I’m still in agony with jaw problems I will never use this dentist again it was like a cattle market

Fantastic experience: I would like to say a massive thankyou to Bhandals Dental Practice, especially the two wonderful Dentists that I met on 11/04/2025. After having severe tooth ache from a wisdom tooth for a number of weeks, my own Dentist sent a referral to Bhandals, this took about a week to be processed. After having xrays done, I was then informed I could have the tooth extracted straight away. Within minutes the wisdom tooth was removed! The Dentist was so professional, patient, understanding and friendly - I honestly couldn't ask for more. After getting home, I experienced slight discomfort and bleeding, which was to be expected. But now I have to say - I AM ABSOLUTELY PAIN FREE! Thankyou again to Bhandals and the two perfect Dentists who dealt with me. Honestly I am so very grateful!

Negative experience: During removal of 2 teeth for little to no pain, just rot, they managed to break one of my perfectly healthy teeth & cause me extreme pain in that tooth. They also took well over half a hour last my appointment time to see me, and when trying to remove the teeth they also broke them into loads of pieces and couldn't remove them without about 15 different dentists trying to help.

Fantastic experience: Contacted Bhandal Bartley Green whom we are registered with as had a raging toothache for the last 3 days. The earliest appt given was 14/4, phoned Black Heath Bhandal they were not helpful as not registered with them! Phoned Cradley (again not registered with them) and spoke to a lovely young man who was extremely helpful and efficient granting an immediate appt. Thank you Cradley, I think you have just become our new dental practice fantastic customer service - well done!

Negative experience: Been trying to call about an upcoming spinet for the last 3 days no one’s answering the call isn’t even connecting !!??

Negative experience: Visited Bhandal Dentist Practice on 27/03/2025 been a couple of times for my wife’s extraction only to be told that it cannot be done and was told to wait for treatment in a hospital for 1 year what an atrocious experience and waste of time.

Negative experience: Impossible to get in contact over the phone. Was referred here by my usual dentist for an extraction with sedation due to severe dental anxiety. Tried calling 5 times from 1-2pm and each time the call would end and I'd receive a "line busy" message. Finally managed to get into the queue at 4:30pm only to find that I was caller number 20 in the queue. It is now 6:30pm as of writing this, still in the queue, they clearly have no system in place to end the queue after they close to indicate that they are no longer taking calls (have only stayed this long as some places will stay open to finish any calls still waiting in the queue). Absolutely ridiculous, and after reading some of the other reviews related to sedation, I'm quite frankly more scared to go here for my extraction than my usual dentist who does not have sedation options available.

Negative experience: I went to bhandal Dental to have some teeth out had a seizure and that carry on with taken out the teeth and only tould me to come down how can I when that going on and the staff did not inform my friend on what was going on tould them all the information when I first whent there and again this time but that did not listen to my information about my health issues and wellbeing and well never be going back here again

Positive experience: Really great experience (even though I hated the dentist!) initially seen by someone who was very reassuring. Had a crown and root canal (£1200) by Mohamed Sherif who was sensational! Always asked if I was ok, took regular breaks, just went back for my 6 month check up and he was great to remember us and have those basic conversations most dentists don't! Reception team are great very quick considering there is always a queue going up to the door. Tend to have to wait around 20+ minutes after your original check in time which isn't great but... Hey ho. Toilets accessible (not amazing but good enough) Overall good experience! One of the better Bhandal's in the area.

Negative experience: horrendous dentist! on my assessment i seen 2 other patients who had got infections from there tooth removal but i still decided to go! a week on after having my tooth removed still in agony checked my mouth seems they didn’t remove all of the tooth .. while sedated they were very rough! popped my tooth through my lip from force of dragging my mouth over! sedation needle broke my vain 3 times!! my arm is black & blue! avoid at all cost!

Fantastic experience: First time as a patient here as my dentist was on holiday. Had a wisdom tooth extracted. Reception staff were great, very easy to talk to and helpful. I was very nervous and afraid but the Dentist (Hamza Bin Rashid) and Nurse were great and kept me calm. Would highly recommend. Thank you all.

Negative experience: Girl with a hijab has a huge attitude problem, straight away getting angry that I cancelled an appointment months ago and questioned it saying she doubts she can help me and that me cancelling an appointment is really poor on my half even though it was personal. Constantly being rude towards me and refusing to help with anything I asked or any information I asked for she would start moaning and showing even more attitude in her responses almost called me an idiot. I asked for retainers and she constantly shouted and moaned at me saying she won’t help me and refused me off any help at all even in the future. Worst dentist I’ve ever seen who was also rude to her assistant, she needs sacking and I won’t be coming here again.

Negative experience: Avoid this dentist at all costs. They are neglectful, horrible and will call you a liar if you address an issue. They mishandle patients, very unprofessional and wreckless. They do not take patients seriously and avoid everything. Best thing to do is go to another Dentist Surgery. They need shutting down or a full staff turnover.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal done here recently, I cannot thank my dentist enough. We were in room 9 (forgive me I have forgotten his name) but he was extremely patient with me and completely understood that I had anxiety around the procedure. He talked me through each step and set expectations as for what he was doing next which made me feel at ease. Thank you again for making this difficult thing much much easier for me.

Fantastic experience: This is a great dentist, I had a really tough wisdom tooth that needed removing. It all went really smoothly!

Negative experience: Phoned the surgery to explain my situation to woman on the receptionist. hung up on me. Bad service. Waited 50 minutes for the call to connect

Negative experience: Awful dentist practice. Was referred by her dentist for SECOND OPINION on tooth extractions. Patient 84year old, wheelchair bound, with chronic health issues and very nervous. FIrstly bandals parking is so far away, at the back of the high street . NO disabled entrance/doors to dentist . NO help from reception staff although they all looked and smiled. Busy inside, little space for me to manoeuvre a wheelchair around reception desk and a gigantic fish tank. Xray room so small. Had to reverse out. In consultation, dentist didnot draw breath .She would not listen, repeating over and over , that she can only follow the referral and continued to prepare for 3 extractions. Finally went to consult mr bandal. Second staff decided to examine teeth and then gave his opinion. Third staff shot questions at me , sat at computer. Mr bandal arrived . Abrupt and rude ! Again not interested in what i was saying. Told his staff to give me copy of referal letter/ xray and told me to go back to my dentist and discuss it with them because bandals would only do the extractions . Infuriated by his last comments. He told staff that there was no need to call him for matters like this. They should know that Bandals will only follow the referrals and to ask us to do anything else would have the board of directors reprimanding him and his practice. No care or empathy ,just a business!!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant Dentist ,2 troublesome teeth gone in a matter of minutes,and whilst there the head male dentist (i think) spotted what he thought was Leukoplakia and was referred that day to my local hospital . after checking myself on the internet found that it could lead to mouth cancer so i am very impressed oh and my teeth well ex teeth are already feeling less painful than before i went many thanks to Bhandall Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: I had all my wisdom teeth one which broke in my gum I was so anxious i was booked in same day for my assessment and I had my surgery 4 days after as soon as i sat in the waiting room i got called in and as soon as I walked in the room I was greeted my to lovely male dentists reassured me with a big smile and said (your in save hands) I had sedation I was in and out of that room with in 30 mins as my partner says I can't remember the surgery due to sedation amd that after care in recovery room was outstanding one massive thankyou to the practice and so much appreciation for surgery within a week amazing job this surgery 5star 10/10 is a understatement 1000/10

Positive experience: The actual practice itself I found satisfactory the first time but getting through the them over the phone is a nightmare. It took a very, very, very long time waiting for someone to answer the phone. The second time I wanted to book an appointment I waited 29 minutes on the phone. Eventually I just put it down. I'll try and book again through the site or email.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful service in an overworked and tough environment. It's a shame more places like this don't exist as this is a great service to the community. Lovely staff working hard and worth their salt.....10/10

Negative experience: Had a tooth removed but pain wouldnt go so told them can feel some tooth pieces so went back x-rayed and was told nothing was there was still in pain and there where 2 pieces that where left in and have now been removed wouldn't recommend them

Fantastic experience: I went for my assessment today. Staff are amazing polite and have amazing attitude to there work and also explain everything clearly. Receptionists were also amazing. I have to go back 31st January for my sedation. And have teeth out which I am still nervous about but looking forward to see and be around the positive energy from all the staff
