Night and Day Emergency Dentist

Fantastic experience: Attended my "own" dentist after putting up with pain for months, got an "emergency" appointment for the next day, attended and was told needed extraction but would have to come back a week later. Called Night and Day immediately after got an appointment within the hour. After I arrived Mustafa the Dentist immediately put me at ease (knowone likes dentists) he looked, took a xray confirmed the problem that the previous dentist identified and asked if I wanted it removing straight away. 3 painless injections of anaesthetic later and 20 minutes in the waiting room. Back into the dentist chair and he removed my whole wisdom tooth in one piece in less than 2 minutes. I hope I dont need to go again but If I do ill certainly be going back to Night and Day.

Fantastic experience: I contacted the Middlesborough surgery for an emergency appointment the receptionist Daniyaal was amazing warm greeting reassured me put me at ease dental nurse Anis great job too helped get me comfortable at assisted with keeping my nerves to min dentist Dr Junaid talked me through everything explain everything he was doing such a gentle and patient manner omg lads you are all amazing great job and thank you for doing this surgery as I truly needed your help and you all came through for me amazing job

Fantastic experience: I hate the dentist, so much so I would rather come off my motorbike and slide down the road, than have needles, drills and pliers in my mouth. Unfortunately the tooth ache from a broken tooth was too much to handle. From the very start all the ladies were fantastic, did everything they could to make me feel comfortable, probably the best dental experience I have had. I did have to go back due to an infection, again the ladies were brilliant. Hopefully I will never need to see them again.

Fantastic experience: I went there for work experiences, and the dentist Abeed and nurse Aqsa were extremely helpful helping me understand instruments and how dentistry works! Definitely worth going again even as a patient !

Fantastic experience: i was looking for an emergency dentist and came across night and day. the service was wonderful and i had to have an extraction. it was fully painless and i would recommend to all friends and family. i will go back to this dentist for regular check ups and cosmetic treatment. the staff were friendly on reception and the dentist is very professional. very clean and tidy.

Fantastic experience: My wisdom tooth removal kept getting cancelled by the NHS and after being in constant pain for 2 weeks, I decided to call the night and day dentist. They were able to get me an appointment for the next day (which you wouldn’t be able to do with a NHS dentist!). I was seen at 2:20pm and after being examined and my options explained to me, the tooth was removed by 3pm. Excellent service by all staff. Clean environment. Bank balance very bruised but worth it to be finally free of the tooth, that was causing me a lot of pain. Hopefully I won’t ever need the service again but if I do, I will certainly be back. I would recommend to anyone needing an emergency dentist.

Fantastic experience: I came here for work experience with a school friend. We were welcomed with a warm approach from the staff and dentist who allowed us to observe dental procedures such as wisdom tooth removal and tooth extraction. We learnt how to interact with patients and how the nurse prepares for the appointment with the dentist according to the procedures that will take place such as x-ray sensors and tools. Overall a good experience

Fantastic experience: I attended Night and Day in excruciating pain after booking an emergency appointment earlier the same day. On arrival I filled in the necessary forms and within a few minutes was seen by the dentist. The dentist was fantastic along with the dental nurse and after being given options after an X-ray I opted for the tooth causing the pain to be extracted. Once the tooth was extracted I was informed of the after care and given an appointment for a week later to see how the procedure had gone, all included in the price. The following day I received a text message asking how I was getting on and if I had any issues. I was getting on fine I had no issues. The debilitating pain that had spread to my lower jaw was gone. The practice is modern and contemporary, the staff attentive and caring. I can’t recommend Night and Day highly enough for any teeth related issues. Thanks Guys .

Fantastic experience: Mustafa, the dentist I saw for an emergency filling, was an absolute delight to deal with. He put me at ease and I felt fully informed. He was understanding about cosmetic concerns. He even included jokes for free. So far, my mouth feels much better. Tender like it has been drilled (oh yeah, it was) but much improved from before the treatment. Mustafa says a couple of days, and the tenderness should have gone. The bonhomie is evident at the surgery, and all the staff are lovely. Shout out to Lisa & Alana. I would definitely go back, but obviously, I hope I don't need emergency dental treatment again. P.S. the fish tank is relaxing to watch in the waiting room.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency with a wisdom tooth yesterday and found this company online. The staff were absolutely brilliant from the moment they answered the call. Explaining everything clearly and the process of the procedures, consultation, x Ray and the cost of the consultation with what it includes with being private. Im going to add this was late in the evening when i called up as the NHS couldnt get me seen as an emergency.... The staff here were beyond professional and extremely supportive of someone who is terrified of the dentist even though I go regularly. Tooth extraction was fast and I was out fast too which was great. I've had messages today as aftercare to see how I am getting on . They have explained if I'm still in pain in the next few days I can go back free of charge as part of my aftercare this will also include any meds needed to help with pain which is excellent as I an unable to work and afford additional costs. This was also explained too face to face . Thank you to all of the staff and the dentists in the room who took my tooth out which had caused fast excruciating problems over the last 2 days. I'm in less pain currently than when I went it. And hopefully I won't need any additional treatment for the pain. Suzannah.

Fantastic experience: Had an ongoing issue with a root canal that was causing problems from a previous dentist. Came here and they were absolutely amazing. I’m nervous at the dentists anyway but they put my mind at ease. He is an absolute perfectionist and went above and beyond to make me comfortable, saving my tooth, replacing the filling and then making sure the colour was corrected. Honestly it was the most positive dental experience I think you could have considering. He even put David Attenborough on the tv to chill me out. 10/10 experience considering I was having a root canal.

Negative experience: Honestly whatever you do, do not go here. Find a better emergency dentist, wait on the NHS, anything but giving this charlatan more business. Outrageous how he is still giving me and others MERCURY fillings, even though these are banned within the EU for extremely harmful side effects. He will tell you there is no other option than surgery on the day, using scare tactics to coerce you into dropping excruciatingly high fees for simple procedures - how he can sit there and ask for that high a fee to students and the working class is beyond me. And finally after having been so appalled by his service I had to get my teeth examined by a proper dentist a year later when I the funds - i was informed that he had done a terrible job, my new dentist was actually shocked by his work and the fact he gave mercury fillings. Avoid avoid avoid for your own good.

Negative experience: Easy & accessible dentist for emergency situations if you are willing to pay extortionate price. However, I had the same experience as my friends who have been advised the best solution would be to ‘remove the tooth’. After consulting with other dentists it is incredibly dangerous option & there are other options available & in emergency situations it is incredibly easy to make rash decisions and I do not find this place helpful. We were all charged a high price & separate for medication that they recommend from pharmacy. I would recommend doing research & there are other dentists available who will charge less & still provide a great experience with your best interest at heart.

The treatment I received and the staff were excellent very friendly and professional, the final outcome was first class. I would recommend their service to any one .

Fantastic experience: I was in absolute agony and my NHS dentist couldn’t find the problem. I booked with Day and Night Dentist and was seen within the hour. They quickly diagnosed a dying tooth and started root canal treatment straight away. It wasn’t cheap, but I’m finally pain-free and was able to set up a 0% interest payment plan. So grateful for their help and quick action!

Fantastic experience: Went in for my pre booked, next day appointment having been up all night with toothache to find out I had a failed root canal (done somewhere else and, by the way, very painful). I was given the options clearly and decided to have it extracted. I was out within the hour having had a pain free extraction knowing exactly how to look after it. I’m sat here 8 hours later still pain free. I would highly recommend, thank you so much to the team.

Positive experience: Well I have visited for the first time, place is nice and small. Receptionist could be more friendly especially for first time customers. Doctor was very good, well knowledgeable and helpful, done a good job. Price yes expensive, but we are living in uk and nhs is very limited. I like the fact that they work 24 hours as its great for people who are in pain and need to be seen immediately. My appointment was 1:30 and I was seen after hour and half they are busy so it's understandable.

Fantastic experience: After having pain for over the weekend and not been able to get a NHS dentist i found Day & Night emergency dentist from my first contact of the telephone I found the young girl on reception to the dentist and his assistant very pleasant and caring and took time with me as I'm have really bad anxiety. Then the day after the lovely girl on reception gave me a curiosity text asking how I was the day after having a tooth & a nerve taking out .I would highly recommend. All on ground floor so if any mobility issues then no problem.

Fantastic experience: I was in a lot of pain after a filling on a troublesome tooth but managed to get a same day appointment. The team were very speedy and professional and within 10 minutes I was having treatment for a root canal and the pain was seized. If you’re in need of emergency treatment then do not hesitate to make an appointment, I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience. I went there for my tooth pain. The doctor was very kind and explained me what’s going on with my teeth very clearly. And he gave me options what I’d like to do. My tooth which I had a roots canal treatment before was infected. So I decided to pull it out, the extraction treatment was done very smoothly, and he tried to calm me down, which was very helpful. Also they followed me up next day, which was very thoughtful and helpful.

Negative experience: Avoid at all cost ! Went to the Preston branch and was told I had a crack in my tooth that has a filling and that needs removing ( I knew it wasn’t that tooth as it was no where near the pain ) he was very pushy and dead set it was that tooth , thought I would wait it out for my normal dentist to open but the tooth ache got too much to bare! I made an appointment at the Manchester branch hoping it would be better ( how wrong I was !) I got there and they wanted more money for another consultation, more x rays ect and all in all it was ( £500) for more x rays and one tooth removed , I went in and they gave me a small amount of numbing where I then started to shake , heart started going , couldn’t swallow ect , I told the dentist that and was told thats normal ( by a guy who was seriously in sliders , shorts and a top ) to then be given 5 more needles where I was aggressively shaking , throat felt like it was closing up , couldn’t feel my feet or felt like I couldn’t breathe and definitely couldn’t talk ! ( turns out he gave me adrenaline based numbing and just added to it rather then giving me the choice of a non adrenaline based one and then went and hid in the back and the poor dental nurse who was lovely , was googling what to do ) to then stand at the front desk for 20 mins as they awkwardly gave me a small part back saying ( we don’t normally give refunds and was telling me why the money I got back was so low ! ) ended up in A and E to reduce my heart rate as after 30 mins it was still beating out my chest ! (( wasnt my experience but the guy before me also seem to have a bad time as he came out with his face double in size and was kicking off with the front desk about it not being done correctly )) FYI WENT TO MY NORMAL GUY AND HAD IT REMOVED WITH NO ISSUE AT ALL so this isn’t a me issue

Fantastic experience: 5☆ Highly recommend! I called just before 7 PM on a Sunday with a very painful back tooth, and by 9 PM, I was already back home with the tooth successfully removed. The entire team was incredibly professional, thorough, and caring throughout the visit. They explained all the possible options and procedures clearly, which really helped ease my anxiety. I'm so grateful for their prompt and expert care!

Fantastic experience: Worth traveling over, the team were professional, calm (at a stressful painful time you need that!) Was worried about seeing a dentist other than my own, but the whole experience was professional, efficient and the dentist were lovely and reassuring. Only thing I'd say about going there is parking, check ahead of the time you due to be seen, parking in the area is there but minimal. Anyone complaining about cost, to me you can't put a price on relieving that pain when nhs resources not available. Thankfully there is a service like this

Fantastic experience: Dr ali and nurse Lisa made me feel really comfortable even though I hate going to the dentist. It was quick and easy and even the receptionist was really nice and not judging. Unlike most dentist I have been too I would highly recommend. Plus it's an emergency dentist so yes you will be paying full price but if your in bad pain it's worth it. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency appt over the Easter weekend with severe pain. I got an appointment quickly & easily online. I needed my wisdom tooth removed & was very nervous about it. The staff explained everything clearly & put me at ease. I would highly recommend & use them again.

Fantastic experience: I had pain in my wisdom tooth on and off for over a year. My usual dentist wouldn't touch it and referred me to an NHS dental hospital, which meant a long wait. Over the Easter weekend, the pain became unbearable — I couldn't eat or even fully close my mouth without sharp pain when it touched the tooth. I found Night and Day Emergency Dentist in Preston online. I booked a consultation for £50 and went in the same day. The two men who looked after me were very kind and understanding. They explained everything and made me feel calm. Because of the way my wisdom tooth was positioned, the standard X-ray machine couldn't get a clear image. So they used a different X-ray that spins around your head to get a better view. I was really impressed. They told me the surgical extraction would cost just over £800. I said I couldn't afford it, and they kindly spoke to their manager and reduced it to just under £600. It's still quite a lot of money, but for private treatment done straight away, I think it was worth it. The procedure was quick, and I didn't feel any pain. Even in the days after, I was still pain-free. I was so relieved and happy. I asked if I could keep the tooth that had caused me so much pain over the past year, and they were happy for me to take it home. They even wrapped it up for me, which I really appreciated. If you're in pain and finding it hard to get seen through the NHS, I recommend this private clinic. They helped me when no one else could, and I was able to get it all sorted in one visit.

Fantastic experience: No complaints, I walked in around 7pm on a sunday over bank holiday weekend without an appointment after being let down by 111 with the worse pain I've ever felt from my bottom molar tooth. 111 referred me to 2 different dentist the first one caused an infection to my mouth performing a root canal which unfortunately failed and the second one said they had to refer me to a specialist that would take 4-6 weeks! They were actually going to leave me in pain for that long... not being able to eat, sleep or even get off to sofa to do anything. Being self employed this would be a massive impact financially. Yes private dentists may be 'expensive' but is the pain worth £300-£700 depending on the tooth. Or £70+ from 111 and a long wait time. I know what I'd choose and I'm 100% glad I did. Thank you to this practice and the guys/gals that work here.

Fantastic experience: Firstly I want to say I, like millions of others am terrified of dentist but this Saturday evening I had no option but to pay one a visit … it was 9pm and a tooth I had been putting off getting sorted for years decided that it was time to give me grief… and it started pain with a vengeance, I looked online and found night and day and started to fill in the online form, before I’d finished I had a phone call from the lovely receptionist telling me just to set off and get there. I set off and arrived there by 10pm nervous as a child… after an initial consultation and an X-ray it was decided the tooth had to come out so the dentist proceeded to give me several injections to numb the area, didn’t even feel a single scratch, I then waited in seating area for 10 mins while the numbness took effect properly then was called back in …. I have had many teeth out over the years and I’ve been pulled and pushed trying to get them out, I have to say this particular dentist seemed to be so gentle I barely felt any pressure or anything whilst he removed the tooth, I honestly lied there thinking I’m ok this is fine and before I knew it the tooth was out and it was all over. This was honestly the most stress free experience of a dentist I’ve ever had and was overall a truly excellent service. It is now the day after and although I have a slight ache, to be expected, I am not in any discomfort at all. Night and day have contacted me this morning to ensure all is well and offered me aftercare should I need it. Overall I was very impressed how I was made to feel at ease in a modern, clean, pleasant practice with professional people that obviously have empathy for how the patient feels. Positive experience: Staff are very polite and welcoming, i felt relaxed and calm due to the dentist reassuring me and explaining everything thoroughly during my painful experience. The tooth extraction i had was done professionally and i cannot fault the procedure. Healing very well but what i cannot understand is why the price was so high. £450 for a specialised tooth extraction is absolutely extortionate, i did make the booking 4 hours before the appointment which is fantastic for people in agony with such problems. But overall i cannot overcome the shock this price has caused me all for one tooth. I feel scammed as i had no other option but to pay the price to stop my pain.

Fantastic experience: Dr Riaz was amazing!! We came in for an emergency extraction and the dentist and dental assistant we so lovely and answered all our questions. The procedure was completely pain free and reasonably priced, the clinic itself is very professional and lovely. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend to anyone!!

Fantastic experience: I am the sort of person who gets very anxious and avoids going to the dentist. I needed a tooth taking out that was causing me a lot of pain. I was worried the procedure would hurt and the dentist and dental nurse reassured me and talked me through every step. This is the first time Iv truly felt cared for in a dentist and my feelings were recognised and they knew how to deal with me being anxious, they made it as painless and stress free as possible and I would happily recommend them to everyone.

Positive experience: Took my son here after he stated suffering with sudden tooth pain. They were nothing but kind and accommodating to us. The man on reception was particularly lovely and even let me borrow a phone charger when I was panicking! The dentist and nurse we saw were both really pleasant and both made my son feel very relaxed. One star knocked off as I know this is an emergency dentist but the wait was really long. After booking an appointment for 7pm we weren’t seen until 8:20pm. Maybe the booking system could be improved.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience, terrified of dentists after not going to them for years. Got here with no judgement, told them on the phone I was nervous about it and was treated very well. Had to have a root canal which was scary and left feeling better about myself. If you me got an emergency these guys are the go to.

Fantastic experience: Oh my goodness what an absolutely fantastic service. I had suffered with horrendous toothache all day, called the night and day emergency dentist and was given an appointment at 7.30pm. Medical history taken, xray, full consultation and explanation of treatment I required, which was x 2 tooth extractions. I was so nervous, but both the dentist and nurse where amazing and really put me at ease, so caring, kind and extremely professional. They actually made my experience a very positive and pleasant one. I can't thank them enough. Amazing service and will recommend to all family and friends.

Fantastic experience: As soon as i arrived at the clinic was made to feel very welcome by kelise and caitlynn who were also very helpful during the process. I was also very happy with my tooth extraction which was carried out by dr abeed and rebecca who made me feel really comfortable during the procedure. Would highly reccomend this clinic due to the lovely staff.

Negative experience: Traumatised. Went there with wisdom tooth pain and left with 20x more pain. The girl that saw me first she treated me like an animal . I was in severe pain and she was only giving me extra treatments on discount when all I needed was some pain relief. And then when she went to inject local anaesthesia it was the worst pain of my life . Thought I was going to pass out . I’m no expert but I believe doctors can be way more gentle and u derstanding towards your pain. She stabbed the area that was already in pain so hardly , and let alone that ,the anesthesia never numbed the area . I was sent outside to wait for them and shaking in pain. Nobody cared . I was put to sign papers and pay while they were giving me smiles . Went to next room for the cleaning part while feeling everything . The pain was so much stronger I could feel all the stabbing she did for the anesthesia . Terrible experience. Unskilled people ,workers having bad day I don’t know , maybe she didn’t want to be there on a Sunday evening but this was disappointing and traumatising experience. Never again

Fantastic experience: Pricey but next level! This filling feels incredible. Never had anything like it. The dentist really took his time making sure it was perfect. Receptionist and assistant were lovely as well. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming. Made me feel very comfortable (saying as I'm terrified having to go be seen and I havent been to a dentist for quite some time!) The staff were lovely, the dentist I had talked me through everything. Cleanliness were very good. The procedure were very quick and easy. Job done. I do highly recommend.

Negative experience: Been here tonight 9.3.2025 And can say will never return here agian !! Scamming people. Vunverable people who are in need and go to these people for help !!!! £250 to fill a hole size of a ant ! Payment plans then start gettin talked about but be carefully you need a credit check so if not in the position to get one don’t go The two women at desk need manners so rude and the guy upstairs who does treatment is so rude aswell Doors are locked when you get there and locked as soon you step foot. Inside Two angry women were shouting in there saying they robbing people and scamming people. We got up and left as soon as this happened

Fantastic experience: Words can not say how good this place is. My dentist let me down big style. D and N were a phone call away. Sorted within a call and like most I was dreading the experience. From the 1st call to the leaving the premises with my tooth removed they were 2nd to none. From a week of agony which my dentist wanted to let carry on till 19th March all sorted with a bit of hurt from 1 injection, and I mean the slightest bit of pain to zero pain to extract the tooth. Dr M Ali and nurse Lisa were amazing. When someone talks you through each step as it happens the tooth was out before I even knew it. Thank you so much. 5 star. Best wishes Jez

Fantastic experience: Really good service, same day emergency appointment. Had a troublesome wisdom tooth removed and was advised of other remedial works that were needed. Most pleasant experience in a dental practice. As I hadn’t eaten before hand, when the anaesthetic took effect I started to get a bit light headed, but the lovely front of house host was fast acting and offered me some glucose tablets to raise my sugar levels. I would definitely recommend for somebody that doesn’t have a dentist. Top tier practice

Fantastic experience: I have not long been back from have a tooth extraction and filling and felt I needed to review straight away. I'm a very nervous patient and the dentist and his assistant (I'm so sorry I can't remember your names) were so nice, very calming and talked me all the way through my treatment, if I could give more stars I would.
