Fantastic experience: Called to make an emergency appointment due to severe toothache for the last 4 days and was seen on the same morning. Very helpful, professional and polite staff when making the appointment. Excellent service from Mani Reehal who prescribed antibiotics and explained cause of toothache. If I lived locally I would not hesitate to use this practice on a permanent basis. Highly recommend and thank you!

Fantastic experience: Had composite bonding done by another dentist in London just over 5 years ago. Unfortunately one of my teeth chipped quite bad the other day. Went in to see if I could have it repaired and dovedale dentists managed to fit me in the next day to have it fixed. My dentist Saadia went above and beyond to make sure my composite matched with the previous work and even allowed me to bring my son along with me who was only 3 as I struggled for childcare. Couldn’t recommend Saadia enough. Herself and Karen had so much patience with us and her work is fantastic. You can’t even tell I had a chip in the first place!! Thank you Saadia and Karen.

I went in Nov 24 with a really bad tooth, it was treated with a pulpotomy and the tooth has been fine since, he was very professional and it felt like he was exceptionally skilled. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dovedale Dental Practice! Especially for families and children. Me and my family have been a patients at Dovedale for over 20 years. My daughters are aged 3&6 and have been patients since their first teeth. All staff are friendly, helpful and make us feel so welcome every time. We’ve recently had a change of dentist to Mr Mhd Mayar Dia. We had our first appointment with him last week and he is so lovely! He was amazing with my daughters and built an instant rapport with them both. The appointment was initially for my daughters however after speaking to Nancy on reception and requesting an emergency appointment for a broken tooth, she quickly squeezed me into the appointment with my daughters. I was then promptly booked back in a few days later to repair the tooth. Mr Mhd Mayar Dia and his dental assistant went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and pain free during the treatment. Thank you for getting this sorted for me so quickly and for always looking after us!

Fantastic experience: As always, what was going to be done was fully explained to me and the reasons behind the treatment given. In this particular instance, both the fillings needing attention were originally done less than one year ago. Both were awkward fillings so I was not surprised when I had a problem. Due to the time scale there was no charge on this occasion which can’t be bad! I have been treated by Mr Young for over twenty years now. He has always looked after my best interests in terms of clinical outcome but also often effect on my finances. During this time he has never hurt me, undertaken unnecessary treatment or given me any cause for concern. He is a consummate professional and I trust him completely with my dental care. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to any prospective future clients.

Fantastic experience: Had to have a molar extracted after an abscess. Mani was a true professional with a calming demeanour and kept me informed of my treatment options and cost. A nice, friendly guy and a great dentist.

Fantastic experience: After bad experiences as a child I was left with a fear of dentists and overcrowded teeth that I hated. After breaking a tooth an equally nervy friend recommended Dovedale. I got a cancellation appointment and the broken tooth was dealt with in a jiffy. More importantly Manny raised the issue of the overcrowding. After a few tears (me) and with an unusual understanding of my horror of having teeth removed (Manny) we embarked on a journey with braces that has resulted in a smile that I am happy to show off. Other dentists have always insisted teeth would have to be removed but I can’t recommend Manny enough for having the empathy and patience to get me where I am now. I’m not exaggerating to see it’s been life changing.

Negative experience: I have been with Dovedale Dental Practice for over 20 years and always seen the same Dentist until a few years ago which was fine I seen another Dentist at this practice. But then a few weeks ago I went for a check up and saw another Dentist I was told that I needed a filling and scale and polish and was given a choice of two filling prices which I said I would have the cheapest because it was only a chip in my tooth. On the day of my visit to have the filling the dentist went ahead with my treatment. I was amazed how long the treatment took I was very uncomfortable with the whole procedure. Then when it came to payment I was shocked at the price I thought I was having the cheapest. The Dentist had taken out the filling that was already in that was fine and was not causing me any problems. When I came home I did not feel very well after the treatment. I have never been bothered by going to the Dentist in my life but this last visit is unsettling.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this place enough!! I was an emergency patient this evening. Being 20 weeks pregnant and in severe pain for days on end and not being able to get an appointment for my own dentist I happened to stumble upon these lovely people. I rung at 6pm and was seen at 8pm. Tooth extraction completed and finally out of pain. When I say from the first initial contact, to treatment you are nothing short of amazing. I cannot thank you enough for being so kind and understanding and making the whole thing a much better experience. I will be recommending to anyone and everyone who will listen. And to anyone reading this just know every word I mean!! Amazing!!!

Fantastic experience: 5 Stars for this fantastic Dentist and his dental nurse. In desperate need my husband needed a dentist, after having weeks of pain. At 19:10 on a Sunday evening we contacted the practice to see if it was correct that they were open, we were given an appointment for 19:50 with consideration of our travelling. On arrival, we were greeted by both the dental nurse and the dentist. The dentist listened to the issue, offered an initial exam of the area causing the pain and X-ray to directly treat the problem. The X-rays were thoroughly explained and you could clearly see the problem. The tooth was removed and advice given for after care. I can only praise the service he received, and was most definitely worth the journey, my husband has left feeling relieved that his issue has been resolved. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: went for a check up and Katie was lovely! She was patient and talked me through everything she was checking for and what she recommended! She took her time and was very thorough. I ended up having a filling, that I wasn’t initally expecting and Katie and assistance both kept me calm throughout the process!

There's a marked difference from other dentists I have visited in every aspect of the service provided by Dovedale. They are prompt, thorough, can't do enough to help put people at ease and are very, very welcoming. A special mention to dentist Sean Lowe, who is down-to-earth and completely professional, and Katie on reception for friendly, engaging coversation while you wait (which is never long). Negative experience: I agree with two of the ladies on here.i never had an xray done, which was stated that i would have and the prescription wasn't for the correct amount of days and had to see the Dr after i paid for consultation. You proved your insolence, showed your ignorance towards a reviewer called Annie, ever heard of aliases. If you performed the service that you said you were offering that day and less arrogance from the ones seeing me, their wouldn't be any discombobulation either way. Regards

Negative experience: I would rate it with 0 stars if I could. Initially, the dentist did not even perform the X-ray that I had paid for; instead, he merely glanced at the tooth that he had been informed was the issue, and when asked to look at another tooth, the dentist simply shrugged and mumbled as if he was discombobulated by the request. The dentist made superfluous comments, and the staff were extremely unwelcoming and equally as insouciant. I'll be taking my money elsewhere. Having good reviews does not guarantee that the service will be the same. The experience I had at the practice was asinine and obnoxious.

Negative experience: Paid £49 upfront which I was led to believe included an X ray and prescription and emergency treatment. It did not. Dentist was borderline arrogant said he could take the tooth out but chose not to. Had to pay an additional £40 not sure what for and prescription charges. Was very keen for me to join his membership plan. Was hoping for some help and the tooth to be taken out but £100 down and tooth is still hurting Edited to add to your reply. No you shan't address specifics here those are my personal medical information. Am I still in agony - yes did I spend £100 for the privilege yes would I ever return no. The dentist spent more time lecturing me than treating my tooth that's a fact.

Fantastic experience: I booked an appointment through Emerdency as my usual dentist couldn't get me in. I had broken a tooth. The dentist I saw was wonderful, put me at ease, I hate going to the dentist. I've had a temporary treatment and am going back in January for a crown. I can't praise Dovedale enough and will be going there in future as a private patient. Thanks again, can't wait to get my smile overhauled.

Fantastic experience: I visited dovedale dental practice today - I had been having problems with a filling that i had had done last time that had worn down - Sean checked it and said it had found its natural level & if he added more filling the same thing would happen again. I also said another tooth (where I knew there was a deep pocket) had worn loose & there was a white patch on the gum that looked like an infection- Sean said it was a gumboil and there was an infection- he took an xray and said I'd lost a lot of bone & I may in the near future lose the tooth - he gave me a 5 day course of antibiotics to clear up the infection and said to monitor how it was - I said I had my routine appt booked for January so I'd see him them & thanked him for fitting me in at short notice.

Fantastic experience: I was in great pain and this practice arranged an appointment within hours. Mr Reehal was very reassuring and gentle with me (a terrible coward) and removed 2 teeth quickly and efficiently after a thorough consultation. Excellent service and lovely staff

Fantastic experience: Visited this dentist 18/07/2024 no appointment it was an emergency thought I had lost a filling or broken a tooth. The receptionist was so helpful and arranged an appointment PM. She called me at home and got me a cancellation AM. The dentist did an Xray and advised on a course of treatment if the symptoms persisted. All the staff were polite efficient and professional. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Mr Lowe and his team at Dovedale Dental Practice have been looking after my teeth for a good number of years. Yesterday I attended for an extraction. This was done in a matter of seconds by the supremely capable Mr Lowe and I was back home within ten minutes of my appointment time. So too was my appointment provided to me at short notice due to the severe pain that I was in. I felt such relief after the extraction and I was immediately free of the most horrendous toothache that I have ever experienced. Manny or Sean the dental surgeons who look after my teeth then calls your name.
