She did not think that she would be able to tolerate a full upper denture but Mike Gregory worked a miracle and she is extremely happy with her new denture. Fantastic experience: A very woebegone lady turned up at Evolve a couple of years ago, with a dental horror story of an auto immune problem called lichen planus, which delived an unending streal of blisters and ulcers, without my ever know just what would bring them on. It was decided to remove and replace some ancient black fillings and crowns at the back, which was done in a single sitting on either side. and we then decided to continue , and follow up with some potential trouble makers. Carol has been a delight to have looking after one, and I have been very pleased throughout. After an accident, I can't make my appointments for the moment, but I will be back as I have an interview with the kind hygenist, who carefully does the work by hand so as not to provoke the blisters, The practice has retrieved miracles, not necessarily of the "showy" kind, but has given me confidence, and importantly, comfort,

Fantastic experience: During lockdown my gums became very badly inflamed as I couldn't attend my 3 monthly hygienist appts... On movingbyo Portishead I signed on with Evolve who referred me to a private specialist Orthodontist. This meant a sustained period of specialist treatments to get the inflammation under control . .I am now on a maintenance programme & Evolve ultimately we're able to fit a porcelain crown to save a tooth that was in a poor condition. In effect they've given me my smile back.[ It's great that they have interest free loans too] The Team are pleasant, explain things clearly . I recently had my 6 months check up & so relieved to know I've come out the other side. Thank you !!

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist in 4 years, and had a fear of them, and then fell in the rain and knocked my bridge and 2 teeth out. I phoned in a panic, Nickie was lovely and calming on the phone. I saw dentist Carol that morning, who explained my options. I subsequently had 2 roots removed (absolutely no pain) and now have a new temporary bridge. Everyone, receptionist, dentist, hygienist , dental nurse was calm and gentle and worked at my pace. Fantastic experience: It’s Debbie Heard from my husband’s Google account. I’ve recently had treatment with Evolve Dentistry. As a child I had poor teeth & gums so it’s always been a ‘thing’! I’ve been ashamed, embarrassed, always had tooth envy. I was told by a dentist at the age of 12 that I would be toothless before I was 30, I proved him wrong & had crowns & bridges fitted & managed to have teeth that looked aesthetically pleasing for a further 30 years. It all came to a head approximately 3 years ago when I had to wear a partial denture. To me it was the end of the world but I amazed myself & adjusted. In October 2024 I had the remainder of my upper teeth removed & had teeth added to my partial as a temporary measure. My current dentist who also is amazing referred me to Mike Gregory at Evolve as she assured me he would do a much better job than she could. My experience at Evolve was second to none from the get go. I met with Julie initially, one of the treatment co-ordinators. She explained how things would pan out over the next couple of months. Nicky on reception was so kind, she put me at ease immediately. Mike & his nurse Jess did exactly the same, I felt so comfortable with them all. My first appointments to the last which was yesterday 12th February were a pleasure, every single person who works at Evolve is amazing! They all go above & beyond. Fantastic experience: I've been Carol's patient for 12+ years because of the incredible TLC I receive every time I set foot through those doors at Evolve Dentistry in Portishead. The quality of care and the attention to my needs at this practice are second to none. Although I live in Bristol, I choose to travel 90 minutes by bus each way, because they are that good at what they do and are so worth the journey. Twelve years ago when I needed loads of work done on my teeth, I greatly feared the intense pain I had experienced at the hands of other dentists and anticipated the same here. When I reached out to Carol via her Facebook posts and told her my concerns, she personally responded and assured me that the techniques used at Evolve Dentistry will cause relatively no pain. During the procedure, she allowed me the time and breathing space I needed to be absolutely comfortable and relaxed. I joined the celebrations when the practice reached a DECADE of brilliant service to their clients in the surrounding community. Honestly, I wouldn't go anywhere else for all my dental and oral health care needs because this practice is absolutely fabulous in every aspect of their work. I give them my highest recommendation.

Fantastic experience: This dentist really cares about people who have a fear of them, they have always treated me with the empathy and the care I needed to put me at my ease and have given me the confidence that I can trust them 100% so I can fulfil my treatment without fear. I have tried other dentists before and never went back because I wasn't happy and more scared than ever. So i really am a nervous patient. Yet ive had dentures from them and teeth extracted with sedation and felt safe and not terrified as i trust them with everything that they told me. Every member of staff is caring and aware of your needs and do their best to make you feel safe and confident. Carol is amazing and for the years I have been there it was a decision that really gave me my confidence back and a dentist that I turn to when I need work done. Fantastic experience: Just completed cosmetic treatment for a chipped front tooth and irregular gapping. Carol has fitted 4 porcelain veneers to my top front teeth which now look just fabulous. Smiling confidently again! Surprisingly pain free and a great big thank you to Carol, her able assistant, and all her team, including the hygienists who ensured my teeth were in great condition before the treatment. The whole team made me feel relaxed through the treatment and the weeks before in preparation for the veneers. 5 stars and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have fibromyalgia & Dystonia, which makes it very uncomfortible & painful to lie flat on the couch. Carol does her best to make sure my discomfort is as minimal as possible. Carol is quick ,efficient, & experienced, & I have great faith in her abilities.

The little things matter and make for the experience each and every time a pleasure instead of a chore. By the way the dental chair is so comfortable I have on occasion drifted off! Fantastic experience: I travel Two hours to attend my appointment here to have all of the amalgams taken out. 12 teeth in all. Two for each appointment. Its worth it. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have had a fear of dentists all my life but had to take a chance with this particular treatment because of my condition. It's specialized as safety measures have to be in place. Fantastic experience: I've posted 5-star reviews for Evolve before, but as their service continues to excel, here is an update. I have my 6-monthly reviews and hygiene updates and they always look to accommodate me with both appointments, one after the other, due to the distance I travel. I recently had a tooth extracted by a hospital while awaiting an operation for something else, but the extraction was not healing well and I had a dry socket, so Maggie at Evolve saw me and sorted it out, getting the blood flowing and allowing the extraction site to heal. I never felt a thing! I have today just returned to the hospital for a follow up and they were impressed by Maggie's work. All the team at Evolve are so friendly and reassuring, that I would recommend them to anyone who required friendly expert service and wants to look after their teeth and oral hygiene. I have been treated by Maggie, Yasmin, and Carol and all are amazing. As is Hannah, my hygienist. Julie and the other members of staff are brilliant too, if ever I have had concerns they have been lovely with me, even corresponding outside normal hours on occasions, and that goes a long way, which is why I travel such a long way to see them (110 mile round trip)!

I needn't of worried, I was truly looked after from the moment I arrived and was thoughtfully consulted with before the initial examination and a clear and easy to comprehend treatment plan proposal shared. Fantastic experience: After a lifetime of wonky teeth I decided to get them straightened and went to Evolve for a consultation. From the moment I walked in the door I felt I was in safe hands. Julie firstly discussed with me the 2 options for teeth straightening - Invisalign or ceramic fixed brace. I then had a consultation with Carol who discussed the options with me further. I never felt rushed or under any pressure to chose a specific one, if in fact any. I have chosen to go with Ceramic Fixed braces and it will take roughly 9 - 12 months. I am currently 3 months in and already friends and family are amazed at the difference. Most people cannot actually see the braces when I am smiling or speaking, but my teeth are already so much straighter. Evolve continue to support my journey and I am so happy I researched reputable Dentists and found the Team at Evolve. Everyone there is so happy and professional, you can tell it is a good place to work. I feel safe, heard, and my hopes for a beautiful smile are understood by the whole team. I don't believe anyone would regret going to Evolve, but you very well might regret NOT going :o)

Fantastic experience: I came to visit Carol for amalgam extractions and I was pleased with the safety protocols used to remove the mercury. The filings were replaced without issue and pain free. I then had Invisalign to straighten my teeth and I am delighted with the results. The whole team are wonderful and customer centric. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I was recommended Evolve dentistry by my friend, Carol and her team have been wonderful, I went there as an extremely nervous/phobic patient to the point of crying in the dentist chair before my treatment, I wanted to have my mercury fillings replaced with white one under sedation, I was terrified but Carol and her team were amazing they helped to calm me and gave me opportunities to ask questions, they explained what they would be doing in a very calm straightforward way, the sedation went wonderfully I was very calm, relaxed and comfortable during treatment. They throughly looked after me with amazing aftercare and called the next day to check I was ok after my treatment. The work carol did replacing my mercury fillings as well as an onlay/inlay over my tooth is so pretty that’s not something I thought I would say about dental work but it has been done beautifully and looks so much nicer than the fillings I had before. I am delighted I found Evolve and highly recommend this place for anyone but especially so for nervous patients, they’ve made a huge difference in how I feel visiting the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Such friendly staff! I used to feel apprehensive visiting the dentist, but both the dentist and hygienist make me feel at ease, and since going here I’ve felt absolutely fine every time. The place is kept spotless, and the chairs are very comfortable!

Fantastic experience: The team at Evolve are professional, warm & friendly. Carol spent time with me reviewing various options to improve my smile always putting the integrity of my teeth first. I have been fearful of the dentist for a long time and as a result have avoided it for over 20 years. During this time I have shyed away from having my photo taken ashamed of my teeth. Fantastic experience: I was absolutely petrified to go to the dentist due to childhood experiences/trauma many years ago. It took some courage walking through the doors of Evolve Dentistry, however I needn’t had worried as the staff from the Reception Ladies, Julie in the office, the hygienists and a special mention for my dentist Yasmin were all super friendly, put me at ease with their patience and understanding, talked through all my worries and didn’t push for me to have anything done until I was feeling ready. I’ve now had a few procedures the most recent being composite bonding which I am absolutely thrilled with, along with healthy oral hygiene I can finally smile again without feeling embarrassed about my teeth.
