Fantastic experience: I had to have a fairly complex crumbled tooth root extraction, which I must admit I was very worried about, but Gerry and his assistant were excellent and delivered on their 'no pain' commitment. I felt absolutely no pain throughout the extraction even though he had to cut the gum and put stitches in. Even once the anaesthetic had worn off, I still had no pain. Fantastic service, I have no hesitation in recommending The Tooth Doctor and particularly Gerry.

Fantastic experience: Gerry and his team of highly skilled staff provide an excellent range of services and high quality care. Gerry made me a bespoke 'splint' (which fits my top row of teeth perfectly) and has solved my night-time grinding problem. This has been absolutely brilliant, it fits really well, feels comfortable and has stopped me grinding my teeth through the night. I'm pain free and have no more jaw ache and headaches. Fantastic experience: Gerry & Amy finished off installing a rear lower implant, yesterday. The whole process was much less painful than previous impants, done elsewhere. The use of 3D scanning rather than having to bite into moulding clay, is IMHO a big leap forward. Having had other failed implants before, I'd highly recommend the Tooth Doctor.

Fantastic experience: I had a course of treatment with Sofia the dentist assisted mainly by Helenor. This involve filling molars and restoring my incisor teeth which were badly worn or ground down. The treatment I had was pain-free, explained in detail whenever I asked and I am very pleased with the results which look and feel natural. Friend have noticed the difference. I don’t think it’s possible to extract a tooth with less pain than they did here. I will definitely come back to get the rest of my teeth fixed as well.

Negative experience: Update: My original review was regarding Kevin, but today—six years later—I received a response from The Tooth Doctor, and I must say I am quite disappointed. Approximately five years ago, following Kevin’s departure from The Tooth Doctor, I was seen by a new dentist who, interestingly, had a previous career in acting. This dentist was meant to replace a filling with a white one. However, he stated that dentists no longer perform fillings and that the procedure would be carried out by his assistant instead. I was genuinely shocked by this response. It felt as though the theatrics of his former profession had influenced his current practice. In contrast, Kevin had always handled my fillings without any issues, and my current dentist continues to do so without hesitation. *This was my original 5* review for Kevin, dated 6 years ago: "I've always been very impressed with Kevin's manner and professionalism. Would highly recommend."

Fantastic experience: Update 2025 - 11 months after initial consultation. I have just completed my round of treatment for my tooth implant with Gerry and the team and it's still 5 stars. From initial consultation through to completion of treatment the communication and service was top notch. They were happy to accommodate date changes for appointments to suit me and the quality of treatment is second to none. At every stage of my treatment I was told how and what I would feel and any questions I had were always answered. Fantastic experience: I had lots of work done with Gerry and Aimee who were absolutely amazing with me, I was absolutely petrified prior to my first visit and from that visit on they done absolutely everything they could to make me at ease and calm during any treatments/ consultations. I hated my smile and never ever smiled in any pictures prior to my treatments. After much patience from Gerry and Aimee I am now soooo much more confident and actually find myself smiling . Fantastic experience: Had an appt with Sofia and Helenor today for a small filling. A few days before the appt I received an email offering me 2 choices from their comfort menu for during my treatment. I opted for the back massager and the dvd googles. Can highly recommend both. Lovely back massage while watching Friends on Netflix. Never been so relaxed at the dentist. Was actually gutted when Sofia said that was us finished (never thought I’d see the day) Brilliant service and would definately love to use again.

Fantastic experience: I have always dreaded going to the dentist due to previous bad experiences and often avoided going. When I got in touch with the tooth doctor, all the staff were friendly and made me feel at ease. They were understanding of my anxieties and explained everything thoroughly. I was seen by Sofia and Helenor who took excellent care of me. Sofia explained everything required for my initial check up and offered options regarding treatment. During my appointments for treatment, everything was explained and they regularly checked in to make sure I was OK and not in any pain or discomfort. Treatments were pain free and for the first time I can say my visit to the dentist was pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Started off with a baby tooth being extracted, followed by a temporary bridge then an implant. So glad I went for implant as far superior to bridge, no movement when chewing and feels and looks completely natural. Can't thank Gerry and his team enough for their care, first class.

Fantastic experience: I went to tooth doctor as I had missing teeth & wanted an alternative to dentures. Spoke to Corinne who was fantastic. She made up a plan. After x-rays I was told by Gerry my best option was a full arch implant bridge. I wasn’t sure at first but so glad I went ahead with it. I definitely smile more & feel more confident. Gerry explained every step to me. I was well looked after by him & Aimee throughout. I looked up tooth doctor a few years before I went. I do wish I had gone sooner. If you are thinking about it you can go for a complementary consultation. Don’t be like me and keep putting it off. Gerry did the work with the pain free promise. Negative experience: Nice environment but is extremely expensive need to tailor the prices to suit pepoles needs. Same procedure but 5k more don't understand that. Can't blame people going abroad. Hopefully dentists in the UK can be more reasonable in prices.

Fantastic experience: Wow, I have been an anxious patient for 45 years and could only have treatment with sedation. However Gerry talked me through a procedure for an extraction today without sedation and put me at ease with the option to try this. I could also stop the treatment at any point. He was patient and ensured I felt as relaxed as possible. After further discussion, I had gel placed on the area prior to 2 injections and then the tooth extracted. No pain at all, and so delighted to have had this done without sedation after so many years. Other than this, I have been a patient of the Tooth Doctor since 2008 and can not fault anything, the care and treatment etc has always been 5 star from all in the Tooth Doctor's surgery, and this is why I have continued to be a patient at this practice since I moved to Stirling in 2012. Thank you again to Gerry for today, this was a milestone for me to have treatment without sedation.

Fantastic experience: I am an extremely anxious person when it comes to going to the dentist. However, from the moment I called the The Tooth Doctor I felt straight at ease. ALL the staff are genuinely lovely people, who always greet you with a lovely welcome making you feel relaxed straight away. As for Sofia and Kirsty, they have been absolutely fantastic. They both show a genuine interest in you as their patient and building a strong relationship to enable you to feel relaxed. They go above and beyond to try ensure your comfortable by providing different relaxation items from eye masks, lip balm etc which you get if your appointment is over 45 minutes long. I am now not terrified to go to the dentist all thanks to them and the care and passion they have in their job. I cannot thank or recommend anyone enough to go to The Tooth Doctor.

Fantastic experience: As someone who was terrified of the dentist resulting in sleepless nights shaking and fainting in the chair the horror that filled me when a tooth cracked was awful. I’d not been to a dentist since before Covid and was in no rush to go back. I saw the Tooth Doctor advertised and read the reviews and after a few failed attempts of actually me trying to get the courage to book in. I did The whole experience from sitting in the waiting room to the actual treatment is amazing so friendly nothing is too much trouble and completely pain free. Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic experience with Gerry and Corrine. It was quick to get an appointment and treatment was painless. I had some composite bonding to fill a gap in my teeth and I am delighted with the results. Wish I had gotten it done years ago. Fantastic experience: Very happy with my first experience with tooth doctor, Carluke. I’m very nervous going to the dentist and I was made to feel genuinely comfortable. Fantastic experience: Great service. Dealt with a number of staff and every single person was caring, helpful and very friendly. Gerry and the girls who assisted him I dealt with the majority of my visits made me feel at ease and done a top class job of the work i required done. I also required a few extra visits as there were a couple of things weren't up to the high standards expected (external lab work, no fault of the clinic). Due to this I was given some complimentary treatment that would have been seperate to this work. I did not expect this and would not have complained about the extra visits so a nice touch. For the type of work I had it was as promised pretty much pain free Thanks again.
