Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this dentist for years, and they’ve always been excellent. Even though I’ve moved outside of Manchester, I still prefer to come all the way here. Chris is very open, honest, and friendly, always giving clear and genuine advice. They were kind enough to accommodate my lateness and even booked me in with the hygienist the same day, as I couldn’t come back for a few weeks. The hygienist was absolutely top-notch — did a fantastic job and kept checking if I was okay throughout. The receptionist is very friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Truly professional and caring service from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: The general dentistry is fine, and the hygienist is great, but the orthodontist is terrible and I deeply regret coming here for orthodontic work. I would never recommend anyone to come here for braces. I spent thousands of pounds and had braces for years just to be left with the same minor bite problem I had when I started. My teeth were always pretty straight, I just had a slightly off bite, this was never address or corrected throughout my whole treatment plan, every time I tried bringing it up I was pretty much dismissed regarding it. I paid thousands of pounds to have my already straight teeth slightly straightened and to be still left with my original problem. I think the orthodontist here is a perfect example of someone that prioritises straight looking teeth above function and just wants something that visually looks okay and doesn’t care beyond that. They don’t actually take the time to pay attention to the smaller details of your bite, which is really disappointing. I am now pursuing orthodontic treatment elsewhere after trying to live with my issues and convince myself it’s okay. I’m really upset that I again have to pay another £4000+ and go through years of treatment. I honestly regret coming here and wasting my money and would strongly advise other people to shop around and do your research first. The orthodontic treatment here feels very bare minimum and rushed and they will not acknowledge any of your concerns or complaints.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Malmin Dental. The reception staff is so friendly & welcoming. It doesn't matter who is there that day, I always get the same great energy. The dental staff is the same. They make me feel comfortable & taken care of. Chris does a great job every time. I am currently getting a lot of work done in several sessions & he breaks it down so patiently & does a malicious job. Their appointments do tend to run over though & I always only get into the room 10-20 minutes after my appointment was meant to start.

The manager Carol always goes the extra mile . Thank you July 25 I saw Chris Brennan ( dentist) for a check up and X-rays and I would need a filling in the very near future. I saw Rachel the hygienist after . She always makes me feel relaxed and is so good at her job. It actually is a pleasure to see her . As I had the day off , Rachel said Chris could do the filling if I wanted an hour later. He did and as always he was so good at his job that it felt like no time and it was done. No pain , no discomfort . I feel relaxed throughout. He answers any questions I have and I feel listened to . The dental nurse always checks in on me as does Rachel and Chris. They really are a wonderful team right down to the receptionists. Top marks from me

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Malmin in Manchester. I'd broken a tooth on Wednesday night and my own dental practice couldn't get me an appointment until after the weekend. I called in Malmin just as I was passing and explained the situation. The receptionist was very understanding, friendly and helpful - and I got an appointment straight away. Dr Chris Brennan was totally reassuring from the start and outlined all the options for me. The filling was quick and as comfortable as possible and he was very kind throughout. The dental nurse was also lovely, checking in with me that I was doing OK. The whole experience was really positive, they are a lovely team and I fully recommend Malmin.

She was amazing, talked me through everything that I needed. Set up a treatment plan. Couldn't be happier with the service provided by her, the helpful and friendly receptionists and the entire team. Fantastic experience: Malmin has been the best dental practice I've been to in my time. From my first step inside I was treat wonderfully and had the right treatment for my teeth set from the get go. Beatrice and the other spectacular staff have been nothing short of amazing and even though the condition of my teeth causes quite a lot of pain, the experience when I have a much needed appointment is always relaxing and I'll always feel like I'm truly taken care of. I'll always come back to Malmin's and their spectacular staff when I need that reassurance. 2025 Update: I still come to Malmins whenever I need to have my oral maintenance done. The staff are always so lovely and the practice itself has had a new refurbishment that just adds more to the high quality experience you get. I've solely had Beatrice take care of my dental emergencies and she has and always will be a star. Ever pleasant and knowledgeable of what care you need. I'll be sure that I have Malmins in my speed dial whenever I need professional care.

The filling was done quickly and comfortably, and he checked in with me throughout to make sure I was okay. Gavin, the hygienist, was efficient and did an excellent job with the cleaning. Leanne at reception was very friendly and welcoming—she arranged my appointment just as I requested and made the whole process smooth.

The staff are always so friendly and supportive, they really care about how I’m feeling and have helped a lot with my anxiety. Oliver is super kind and sweet, and he made sure I understood everything about the process. Dr. Chris Brennan and Andrew Bristow are both professional, patient, and always take the time to explain things clearly and show me what’s going on.

If you look like Jaws from the James Bond movie The Spy Who Loved me, dentist Chris Brennan will change you so you have a beautiful set of teeth. You can even look like the Mask (Jim Carey movie!) Regular check ups will keep you on the straight and narrow and hygienist Rachel will coach you into good habits for gum and teeth hygiene maintenance. Malmin are the best dentist team in Manchester. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Malmin for a few years and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris (dentist) and Rachael (hygienist). I have Malmin's Dental Plan which I find competitive, and have two routine appointments with them each year. My teeth have never been in such good condition and I always feel cared for on my appointments. Malmin offer a range of other services, which Chris and Rachael have made me aware of when appropriate, but never in a pushy way. I can't see myself going anywhere else whilst they're both there!

The consultation was free and they made me feel really comfortable with how much everything was and explained any necessary costs and nothing was left hidden or trying to catch you out. Fantastic experience: Got my Invisalign done at Malmin. It is an expensive treatment but I would do it over again. From the first meeting with Oliver you can tell how professional they are. Dr Beatriz is the best dentist I ever had! She gentle and keeps the communication at all times letting you know what she’s doing next, which I love because you kinda can prepare yourself for what’s coming. She tells you things like ‘just polishing now so you’ll feel a little vibration’. Had a filling done and didn’t felt much or no pain at all, been to dentists that I sweat in the chair just having a regular basic yearly clean. Really happy with my teeth now and been having lots of compliments on how straight they look. My regular dentist has had me in for a yearly check up and has mentioned how great of a job they have done. Although, from now on I do not trust anyone else with my teeth but Dr Beatriz and malmin. Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for a few years now and Chris, Oliver and all the staff are absolutely outstanding in their care and understanding. I am a patient facing precarious difficulties with what teeth I have left and when that gets to a point whereby I feel helpless, quite lost and subhuman, these guys remind me otherwise. Negative experience: I have been attending this practice for close to 25 years and have nothing but praise for all the dental practitioners and staff who I have seen during that time. My rating above is for the lovely staff at the practice. My visit yesterday was very disappointing due to the current state of the premises: the installed suction system wasn’t working and the portable unit which had been brought in had also packed up. For the price I pay for the treatment I receive the lack of investment in the premises and the impact this is having on the staff is appalling.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for a while now and the service is absolutely superb in every way. Extremely professional, efficient and organised. I've had a fair bit done and every process has been seamless and easy and with a quick turnaround, not to mention very fairly and reasonably priced. Dr. Beatriz has seen me most of the times I've been in and she is excellent. Very kind, professional, clearly very very good at her job, and has a very reassuring presence.

Fantastic experience: No one particularly enjoys going to the dentist but at Malmin the experience is very professional calm and caring . All the staff are friendly but my dentist Chris is just wonderful. You immediately feel at ease and from routine hygiene checks to fillings I have never been in any doubt that I will receive the best treatment. Everything is explained fully and any questions answered. I travel 2 hours to visit the practice but because I know that I will receive the best care I wouldn't want to change.

Fantastic experience: For years I avoided the dentist. In my head it was painful and too expensive. I went to Malmin five or six years ago with a tooth ache. Dr Chris has been looking after me ever since. Not only is he a genuinely nice, he take the time to explain treatment plans and realistic costs. For anyone who’s nervous or been putting off dental check ups, these guys will take good care of you. And on top of everything else, the reception team are lovely.

Fantastic experience: Been attending Malmins for 12m now as I needed quite a bit of treatment. Everyone is very nice, from the reception staff to the dental staff and have made a potentially unpleasant experience more tolerable. The dentist, Esra, has been particularly patient and considerate and it makes a huge difference when you can establish a feeling of trust in the person treating you. Would definately recommend Malmins, particularly if you hate dentists as much as I used to do.

Negative experience: UPDATED 2nd review Feb 2024: Sad to say bad experience today. Booked and paid for my appointment online, only to turn up and be told my name is not on the system. ‘Sorry’. Background context: 1. I specifically did not work today (would have otherwise done a bank shift), and arranged for childcare just so I could attend the appointment I had pre booked in advance. 2. Moved a prior meeting from AM to PM so I could attend this appointment. 3. Rang on Monday (48 hours before) in between work to confirm my AM appointment today, and to make sure the afternoon one (that was booked a while ago) was cancelled. The way I see it, there’re either 2 possibilities - 1) system error where even though I received booking email confirmation with my appointment time, it did not get booked on to the appointment book, or 2) the person who spoke to me on Monday cancelled the wrong appointment, ie cancelled the morning one instead of cancelling the afternoon one - in my opinion I think this is more likely the case. Either way, this is not my problem to deal with, and is unfortunately the practices problem. A simple sorry with no effort to try and fit me in doesn’t cut it. If I am someone who doesn’t work in the week and has all the time in the world to come during the week, maybe rescheduling is not so bad. However, this is not the case. Sorry doesn’t fix my tooth, doesn’t pay for the childcare today, nor the missed pay check from not being able to work today. It may have been the way the practice manager handled the situation, or the lack of genuine empathy… but certainly not what I expect from a PRIVATE practice. Sadly will be moving to a different dental practice now. Shame as Dr Chris is lovely! ————————————— FIRST REVIEW 2020: I first visited this dentist as an emergency appointment as one of the metal wires from my permanent retainer had snapped - I got an appointment quickly and everything was sorted for me. I came back again for composite bonding - Chris was absolutely brilliant! He told me I didn't need veneers and that a bit of composite bonding would achieve what I wanted. He was very professional, thorough and very very patient - I came back 3 times for him to redo them (the poor man!!)!!! He did not charge me for the following 2 times that I returned for them to be reshaped and for a different shade - something I really appreciate! The experience overall was very pleasant and I would definitely be returning here for any future treatments. I am one happy customer and I can't recommend Dr Chris B enough! Thank you :)

Fantastic experience: I had my dental hygiene appointment with Mrs. Rachel Lumley, she did the cleaning of my teeth with care and in a very professional way, I came out very pleased. I highly recommend her and Malmin dental clinic. They are impeccable and have a great team of dental professionals. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Chris (Dentist) and Rachel (Hygienist) are both kind, helpful and make going to the dentist a painless experience. I would recommend them to anyone. I used to fear going to the dentist - i don't anymore.
