She fixed my wire perfectly, gave me helpful advice, and even offered a 10% discount. Everyone at the clinic, from the reception to the staff, was warm and welcoming. Fantastic experience: I went to Jenny and the team when my daughter was 13 because my daughter’s teeth were very crooked and she was very conscious of them. 18 months later after having fixed braces on both sets of teeth my daughters smile was perfect!! I was so impressed I went back and asked Jenny what she could do to improve my crooked upper and lower teeth (which were also a bit yellow) . Another 18 months later, after fixed upper and lower braces and teeth whitening, I also have a perfect smile!! Jenny and the team are so friendly, professional and efficient and always willing to be flexible with appointments. Fantastic experience: I am face to face with audiences large and small in my work, sometimes on-line but mostly 'live'. I try to present myself as professionally as possible in every way, and breaking a front tooth while outside UK was both unsightly and confidence-draining. As someone who had unfortunate experiences with a school dentist, I have been reluctant to be treated pro-actively, but this was something that needed urgent treatment. I knew of Jenny's reputation as a highly skilled dentist and booked in for a course of treatment that included teeth whitening and orthodontic work that would combine to give me a smile makeover. It was one of the best decisions I have made. Jenny and the whole team made me feel welcome and special. The initial consultation was thorough, and the proposed course of treatment was explained in detail, with timelines and costs set out so that I could plan my work accordingly. Apart from the excellent treatment I was given, led by Jenny, two other things impressed me greatly. Firstly, how well her whole team worked together, from the receptionist to the hygienist, the dental nurse and the technician. A wonderful group who together helped me to overcome my anxiety. Secondly, I thought their communication with me was really good throughout, in terms of explaining what would take place in a session and even during treatment. After the course of treatment, over several sessions, Jenny showed me the before and after photos of my teeth and the transformation was remarkable. I left the clinic with a real spring in my step and a big smile on my face.

Fantastic experience: I had an unfortunate accident whilst working away which caused my implant to come loose. I called for advice once back in York and was under the competent care of Dr Kabir and her colleague the same morning. Despite not having the original reference documentation with regard to the implant installed many years ago elsewhere, Dr Kabir remained sensitive to my situation and attempted to rectify. I am pleased to say the implant is now secure and will be forever grateful to the team for treating me on such short notice. If any further work needs to be undertaken I will not hesitate to once again use this practice in the future.

Fantastic experience: Had a cracked back tooth and not even registered at this dentist, but my wife is..phoned up on the Monday as it happened over the weekend and they had me in early that afternoon..amazingly quick at getting me in.I don't like dentists from previous experiences, but jenny made me feel so calm and at ease I will be forever grateful.Will definitely be registering at this dentist without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: Visited today with my son for a scan, the lady on reception was so lovely and welcoming, we had a good chat and found out we had mutual connections! We then met a lady, (maybe the owner) she took us upstairs for the scan which took seconds, I asked some questions which she answered everything with detail so I completely understood the process that my son would be going through. I'd really recommend them, definitely a welcoming place.

Negative experience: I needed a tooth pulling out so I got an emergency appointment which was £70 which is fine, I went and got told they couldn’t do it then so I had to go 3 more days then go back as they didn’t have the correct dentist in even though they knew my problem. Then when I went in for my tooth to be pulled the dentist was making conversation asking about my job so I told her and she turned her nose up (I’m a dog groomer but she said dogs are dirty) When pulling my tooth she didn’t numb me correctly, I told her to stop because it was agony and she said ‘1 minute’ and continued to yank at my tooth whilst I cried in the chair. £500 for 1 tooth to be pulled out whilst feeling everything.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist was unwaveringly lovely and helpful, and let me know I could come a little earlier. The hygienist was very friendly and did a great job, she also helped settle some initial nerves. Will definitely return.

Fantastic experience: Undoubtably the best dentist I have ever been to! ~ Jen is an amazing dentist, and even more so really lovely! My crown fell out a month into a long bike tour so I had to find somewhere that could fix it along the route and what a gem to have discovered and be treated here :) I got a consultation super quick and had moulds done on the same day, the tooth was done in 10days and when I came back to have it fitted, Jen very kindly cleaned up my other front tooth for me and made it look a lot nicer! Fantastic experience: Treated for emergency dental problem. They squeezed me in the same day, being a nervous patient they were really understanding and also gave me the options of dental sedation. I had an tooth extraction with no problems at all. I am now planning to have my dental implant treatment with this practice - they have an amazing range of treatment and the quality of care is great.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to go here by family for orthodontics (retainers needed replacing) and it was a really good experience. I think it's safe to say that going to the dentist isn't something people usually look forward to, but the people here were lovely! The whole appointment was very quick, done in maybe 5 or 10 minutes, and the new retainers I got a couple weeks later at the follow-up were actually much better quality than what I was used to. They fit perfectly after the final adjustments and I'm sure will last me a good several years!

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist for over 30 years before attending Fresh Dental Smile Clinic. I was very nervous after so long. I needn't have arrived. Everyone was so friendly and supportive. The treatment I received from Ameena and Ralf was superb. Both are very professional and supportive. The treatment took nine months in total and it was worth every penny. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fresh Dental Smile Clinic.

Fantastic experience: I originally found this place using Google Maps, having moved back from London during the pandemic. I’m glad I trusted the excellent reviews – they are completely accurate in my view and I’ve had nothing but great experiences here! Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Fresh Dental Smile Clinic. My dentist is Ameena and alongside Elise they have been fantastic. After avoiding the dentist for some time I have had numerous appointments with them and they are honest about what exactly needs doing and fair with the pricing too. I've always found the dentist a pain to go to but they both made me feel at ease. As well as that they are very sociable and have made the numerous fillings I have had more bearable with their conversations and music choice. They showed me before, during and after photos too which was helpful to see what state my teeth were in.

Fantastic experience: Because of previous experiences at other dentists before, I am incredibly anxious about needles and the dentists in general. But after one brief chat with them I felt able to go ahead with the removal even without sedation. Felt no pain at all and was repeatedly asked how I was doing throughout the whole procedure, the dentist I had was incredibly patient and understanding and kept us chirpy throughout. Fantastic experience: Decided to take the plunge and have some dental work done as really didnt like my teeth, and had been asking for years at my NHS dentist if there was anything I could get done, basically told my teeth were fine! Both my daughters and wife had some small amount of cosmetic dentistry done over the years. I made an appointment at fresh smiles with Jenny, I knew it wasnt going to be straight forward, she put me at ease straight away, and told me it was no quick fix as my bite had to be slowly altered, but said she was confident that we could get really good results! I am probably 5 months into treatment and my teeth are fantastic!! There is still more to be done as Jenny told me its like a work in progress, to get the best results for your money. The whole team that I have met at Fresh Smiles are fantastic, friendly, and professional. I did go for another consultation at another "top" cosmetic dentist in York before I decided, but they didnt fill me with confidence like Jenny did. Fantastic experience: I initially went to Fresh Dental for a consultation for Invisalign but Jenny explained the benefits of a clear brace instead, which is what I chose for my treatment. The team were very client focused and involved me in every decision, and they explained everything they were doing. Very happy with the outcome of my teeth. Fantastic experience: Jenny fitted my dental implants fitted over 10 years ago, and I can honestly say that she is incredible at what she does. She makes me feel at ease and always talks me through everything that she will be doing during my appointment. The practice staff are lovely, and there is a real family feel. I have had many unpleasant experiences with other dentists, but Jenny has most certainly restored my faith. She is extremely professional and I recommend her practice most highly.

Negative experience: Updating my reviews to warn future prospective patients: My initial result with this clinic was quite good. In fact, I gave it five stars. This despite the fact that there had been some scheduling issues including an appointment they told me was for 4 hours but when I arrived, they only had me booked for one hour which meant not only did I clear my schedule unnecessarily, but that I would need to return again to complete the work. None the less, the work done by the dentist was good quality. Fast forward a few months. Having been referred to their endodontist who took quite some time to get in due to COVID, I called in October to reschedule my appointment due to a post-operative infection. We got part of the way through booking my next appointment when I was told that I would need to make a larger than expected deposit for the appointment. I did not have the correct bank card (my husband had it and was gone for a few days) and I told them I would call back to make an appointment when I had the correct card. I was warned that they could not make the appointment until I paid the deposit. No problem. Unfortunately, my post operative fever returned the next and so I decided I would wait until I was fully cleared to set an appointment as my infection has been unusually persistent. Fast forward a month later (today) when I get a text out of the blue reminding me of an appointment for tomorrow. I ring them as soon as possible and let them know of their mistake and explain the situation to the woman on the phone. She seemed to understand that the appointment should not have been set and asked me to call back when I was feeling well enough to complete my treatment. A few minutes later I get a call from the office manager attempting to persuade me into coming to the appointment (!?!?). I again stated that I couldn't because I was running a fever and explained the situation (again) and that the appointment should never have been set. She said that it was fine but now they wouldn't work with me without full payment in advance because I had cancelled three appointments (stating additional appointments on the 7th and 11th of October). Firstly, this appointment should never have been set at all... so I do not see how I should be responsible for an appointment I never set. Secondly, the previous appointment was not for the 11th of October - it was for the 12th and I called to let them know I was having medical issues and needed to reschedule it. As for the date on the 7th... The only thing I can think of is that they originally scheduled me with the endodontist for a consult which was never needed because he already had my records and when I called to push back against this unnecessary charge, they agreed the appointment wasn't necessary and that he should not have needed further information to complete treatment. It was on that phone call that they removed the consult appointment and gave me the appointment on the 12th for treatment. I cannot remember if that date was the 7th as it is not on my calendar but I know I did not cancel an appointment - it was moved to a treatment on the 12th. This was all done several weeks before the appointment on the 7th. The office manager was rude and condescending stating that it was some kind of mutual mistake (I cannot see what mistake I had made outside of calling to ask about appointment availability). Furthermore, I find it entirely inappropriate to have someone call and hassle me about coming in when I am unwell because it is inconvenient that they made a mistake. 100% I would not ever return to this office again. They cannot keep their diary straight with appointments set that should not have been, "cancellations" which are not cancellations and appointments being set for a quarter of the correct length of time. WOW. It has been a lot of years since a business turned my opinion around so thoroughly. The dental work seems to be fine but I must say that I am now questioning how good as my faith in their office has evaporated.

Fantastic experience: I looked for a long time and did a great deal of research before choosing Fresh Dental for my veneers. I was very nervous about having them done but as soon as I met Jenny and her team I felt reassured that they would do a great job and this definitely proved to be correct. Fantastic experience: I had a golfing accident which caused 3 of my front teeth to be smashed to bits. I originally went to A & E who had no clue how to sort them out because of the significant trauma damage. Fresh dental smile clinic had me in for surgery much sooner than I expected and the treatment I have recieved along with the customer service has been exceptional. Would 100% reccomend!

Fantastic experience: I visit this dentist regularly as have Denplan (private dental treatment) which includes regular checkups, cleans and excellent care for my teeth. I am under the care of Dr Sharma and I cannot recommend her enough she is AMAZING. The care she provides is fantastic as she is caring, kind, considerate, highly knowlegeable and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. I do a 2 hour round trip to visit this York dentist. Like most people I do have anxiety around dental work so you will be put at complete ease by Dr Sharma's kind and caring approach. Denplan is great as it's preventative so I know regular visits, cleans and check ups will alleviate future problems as much as I can. Do use or try this dentist if you are looking for one to use as they are the best (before I had tried many and will never use the NHS again after many horrendous experiences). Fantastic experience: After visiting for a free consultation for work I need doing, I was offered a same day appointment for a tooth extraction that I desperately needed doing. I had sedation and cannot believe that I am saying this but it was an AMAZING experience. Compared to a failed extraction elsewhere without sedation, Fresh Dental put me at ease and I did not have any pain during or after the procedure! Lovely staff and service. Highly recommend!

Anytime you need to call there’s always a nice friendly voice available to help without the phone going straight to voicemail. Jenny and the team are doing a fab job! Fantastic experience: My composite filling had come off my front tooth, and I urgently needed it sorting. Unfortunately my dentist since childhood had just retired, and all other dentists would have charged me £70-80 just to look at me. Fresh dental have a free consultation, but even better than that when I explained what I needed the dentist sorted it straight away. Fantastic experience: I was introduced to Fresh Dental by my wife who was very enthusiastic about the practice. She'd had it recommended to her by a friend. My first impressions were how friendly everyone was (especially Jenny) and I was put at ease immediately making the treatment less painful. Fantastic experience: I have just got home pain free from a same day appointment which I made this morning when I was suffering with severe toothache. I was very nervous about receiving the treatment as I always am however the lovely calm environment of this practice and the patience and reassurance from the staff really put my nerves at ease. The lady who performed the treatment really went above and beyond to do all she could in order to save my tooth and thankfully her determination paid off as after her very thorough investigation she got to the root of the problem (no pun intended) and I am now pain free and still have the tooth. Apologies as I forgot the lady's name however I would absolutely recommend her to anyone seeking denial treatment especially if they are nervous about the procedure.

Fantastic experience: Back in April I started to get pain in my jaw due to an impacted wisdom tooth that had unfortunately caused an infection. After an extremely painful 3 weeks and being let down by my (now previous) Dental Practice on a number of occasions I decided to look elsewhere for some emergency treatment. I called up Fresh Dental after a Bank Holiday weekend and they fitted me in for an emergency appointment that same day!! The whole team were very sympathetic, kind and supportive and offered me an emergency surgical extraction that same night alongside a course of treatment to help stop the infection. The team all stayed late to get me sorted and I am very grateful! I am so thankful for the support I received from the team, so much so that I have now left my previous Practice and have become a DenPlan member with Fresh Dental! As far as treatment goes I have so far only had the surgical extraction but from just this experience I 100% would definitely recommend to others if they are experiencing the same problems and are after a supportive Dental Practice! 5/5
