Fantastic experience: I am a troublesome 83 year old man who has worked and lived in England, Switzerland and America. Ever since I became an adult I have visited my dentist and hygienist every six months. A few years ago I started using the services of Chris and Jenica. They are the very best dentist and hygienist by a long way that I have experienced. They are friendly, helpful and very professional.

Fantastic experience: What can I say, just brilliant. The thought of having sinus lifts, bone grafts and implants filled me with dread, I’m terrified of needles, but yesterday I was amazed by the care. Apart from a tiny scratch from one of the initial injections I did not feel a thing. I was in the chair for well over two hours but was so chilled (that’s without sedation, albeit it was offered) I almost fell asleep!! Chris Lucas is an amazing dentist and the staff are lovely too. I can’t thank them enough xx

The reception team were excellent as always, kind, efficient, friendly, warm and welcoming. Nick the dentist was exceptional as always. The highlight of my trip to Lavender Road was meeting the famous Dentist Chris Lucas. He is like dental royalty .

Fantastic experience: I visited Lavender House today for an extraction with Sonal, and I can’t thank her enough for the incredible care I received. As someone who is a very nervous patient due to a traumatic extraction experience when I was younger, I was extremely anxious about the procedure. I opted for IV sedation, and honestly, Sonal was amazing. She took her time to ensure I felt completely comfortable, and the procedure was entirely pain-free and stress-free. The worst part for me was just waiting in the chair for the IV sedation to kick in, with my mind racing, but Sonal and her team were so supportive and reassuring every step of the way. For anyone who struggles with anxiety or nervousness about dental procedures, I can’t recommend Sonal and the team at Lavender House enough. They truly go above and beyond to make the experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Fantastic experience: Came in on an emergency appointment at the start of the week due to some wisdom tooth pain along with loss of sensation/movement in one side of my face. The team were amazingly attentive with what was quite concerning for me having lost some movement in my facial muscles - not being entirely sure if this was related to my tooth discomfort I was experiencing. Initially the team explored the problem and discovered some infection in my wisdom tooth which I was prescribed antibiotics for. They had me return the next day on a second appointment to check progress, with the wisdom tooth feeling much better in just 24 hrs however the facial paralysis still present. Dentists Liz and Chris were both fantastic, after further investigation they advised me to visit A and E with a probable diagnosis of Bells Palsy (not tooth related) and they were absolutely right and later that day Leicester royal infirmary diagnosed me and treated me for Bell’s palsy concluding that the wisdom tooth infection I had was just coincidental. Even though I was technically in the wrong place as my condition was not dental related, I can’t stress enough how thorough and attentive all members at this surgery were in investigating the problem I had. Liz/Chris and dental nurse’s Casey and others all clearly experts in their field which instills you with confidence and puts you at ease even if you are a little nervous of the dentist. The following day I received a call from lavender (Liz) checking in on how the A and E visit went which for me really shows lavender dental care deeply about there patients! This meant a lot to me! Thanks again all for the treatment I received, Owen.

Fantastic experience: I feel relaxed when I have treatment with Sonil where before I was a very anxious patient. I feel like my dentist takes extreme pride in her work and has an excellent bed side manor. I have already recommended Sonil to friends and family and they are too very pleased with their dental experience. I've had implants, a sinus lift, a bone graft and I am part way through getting veneers. Very happy with the work so far.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Lavender Road Dental Practice since Chris first opened and also Chris's patient for several years while he was on the main road. My husband also joined on my recommendation soon afterwards. My grandaughter has also been treated by Liz after having an extremely traumatic experience at another dental practice. My actual treatment is leading edge, conducted by a professional and gentle orthodontist who takes care to keep me informed throughout and ensure the process is painless. The clinic is immaculate, all the staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. For the first time in my life I have no fear of visiting the dentist.

Negative experience: I had two tooth done here. after a few weeks I went to another country and on the x-ray I had an infection under the filling and on the other one the filling was over the cavity. I just thought at the bin some Goooood money. I don’t recommend at all.

Fantastic experience: Since joining the practise just after COVID after a terrible experience at an NHS practise, I'm very pleased with my dentist DR Vara. I recommend him 100%. He is polite, calm and patient with me despite my challenges and really takes his time to explain the treatment options without judging me for the self inflicted damage I have caused throughout my life. He has given me the confidence to want to smile more and show off my teeth.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had severe anxiety when it’s comes to dentists for as long as I can remember. I even neglected going for 7 years or if I did go I would walk out or have anxiety attacks for days before. I’ve been going here for just under a year now and my anxiety was terrible for the first few appointments but I can say I’ve never felt so safe going to a dentists. I can now go to the dentists without a single bit of anxiety. I travel 30 mins to go to this dentists even with many closer to me but would not go anywhere else. Summit is the best dentist I have ever met and as long as he is there I will never go anywhere else. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Chris Lucas and Summit Chauhan recently treated me with two dental implants, considering I was not looking forward to the treatment it all went very well, they are highly professional and explain everything fully - you never feel that they are rushing you or dismissive of any questions. Chris is the expert in this field and it's great that he is passing on his wealth of knowledge to the next generation of dentists. Thanks also to Divani who has treated me during the last year, excellent team indeed, would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’d been searching for a time before Chris was recommended to me by my brother. I’m phobic and Chris is a brilliant dentist. He makes me feel safe and really cared for. I know it’s irrational having such a fear but I’ve had it since childhood. He’s kind and so understanding but he’s also a superb dental surgeon. Throughly recommend. Jennita is my hygienist and she’s also a gem. Lovely person, kind caring and so knowledgable. Loves her work and takes a real interest in her patients. Very impressed with this practise and would throughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My sons had problems with his teeth, he had teeth missing that had never grown, teeth growing sideways, so he was referred to Lavender Road for braces. You would not believe the results. After 18 months his teeth are now perfect. The dentist was a miracle worker and a perfectionist. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: From the moment my wife rang the reception staff did everything they could to help. I was in severe pain and they got me in to see a dentist within a few hours even though I was not a patient. Knowing I was rather nervous but had no choice but to be seen both reception and the dentist were very calming.

Negative experience: Great dentist but are far too expensive. The circa 34% planned increase in fees that you are trying to blame on an apparent “just realised cost misalignment with DenPlan” is in my opinion just too much. This would put me from £19 to £30 per mth. I’ve rang several dentists offering treatment plans and they have all offered me a monthly price plan between £17 - 21 for the same (and in some cases better) services than I receive now. Therefore it’s looking highly likely I will leave the practice for an alternative. Shame on you for even stating on your website the intention that you “believe in open, honest pricing”!

Fantastic experience: While I had to wait beyond my appointment time, the time and effort afforded me more than compensated. I felt listened to and everything was explained and shown to me. I have a follow up appointment where I know what will be done and i am a happy person!

Fantastic experience: Chris Lucus has been my dentist for at least 30 years. I followed to Lavender Road when he went private as I trust him to do a good job and have never been let down. As he only does implants now I have been transferred to a colleague and have the same confidence that I will get excellent treatment and advice.

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere is welcoming, the dentist remembers you and details about your care and treatment. the examination is very thorough and is fully explained. future care and risks are all explained.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been waiting for a year for a referral (the delay was not down to Lavender) Once they received the referral we were seen quickly , and an appointment made for an extraction. I honestly didn’t think she would let them take the tooth out with gas and air as she has been absolutely petrified, however the staff and dentists were incredible with her , so patient , kind and reassuring. They really relaxed her and took her time , and just everyone from the girls at the front to the dentists and nurses were so very kind . Thank you so much .

Fantastic experience: Mr Nickesh Vara is really superlative at putting anxious patients at ease. He talked me through the whole process and by offering me more control if I felt uncomfortable he managed to successfully allay any doubts or fears I might have had. Having a more democratic, participatory role in treatment is the best model for managing nerves. His humorous comments and all round affability are also great management techniques. Really happy with the process and results. Can't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic experience: 5 star experience at Lavender dental. My dad needed a dental check up urgently after sudden onset pain. Not only did they accommodate him in a few hour's notice, Dr Chauhan and team were so caring and efficient. They did what was necessary to deal with the urgency and advised for the future as he is an overseas patient. A special shout out to the reception staff as well who were extremely kind and accommodating. A big thank you to everyone involved.
