Fantastic experience: I visited Gemma and Berba this afternoon. I can't praise them highly enough, they both went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at ease. This is the best experience of attending a hygiene appointment. Furthermore, Gemma polished up my veneers, they now look like brand new. I feel really confident within myself. 5 ⭐ service. Fantastic experience: I had my appointment for the 1st time with Gemma today. She used the guided biofilm therapy on me. It was so much more comfortable than the usual ultrasonic clean. A full spa treatment for my mouth. Gemma was great at explaining the new technique and the benefits of this. Gemma & Layla were really friendly and put me at ease straight away. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Lawrence highly enough having just completed my treatment having upper and lower implants fitted . Likewise the fabulous Chelsea is his simply brilliant dental nurse and they are a fantastic team . From start to finish over the past 16 months when I was terrified of the prospect of my treatment Lawrence and Chelsea have been professional, caring , HIGHLY skilled , reassuring and I will be forever grateful to them both for how amazing they have been . Negative experience: One of the worst experiences of my life. No wonder my Invisalign dentist quit. However the communication involved with looking after me was disgraceful. The level of coordination is so bad. I had to chase them every step of the way. Even a walk in to get a part refund. Though it doesn't mean much when 4 months of false promises to correct your teeth is wasted. Unprofessional. Complaint already made.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to City Centre Dental and Implant Clinic for a series of appointments to have five implants placed, and I honestly can’t recommend them enough — especially Lawrence and Chelsea. Lawrence, my implant dentist, has been brilliant from the very start. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and calmly, and you can tell straight away that you’re in expert hands. He’s not just incredibly knowledgeable — he’s also kind, empathetic, and genuinely cares about making sure you feel informed and comfortable at every stage. But the real star of the show for me has been Chelsea, the dental nurse. From the very first appointment, she’s been my main point of contact — helping to organise everything, answering all my questions, and just being a reassuring, friendly presence throughout the whole process. During the surgeries themselves, she’s been nothing short of amazing. I had noise-cancelling headphones in during the procedure, and she knew I couldn’t hear anything — so instead of speaking, she’d gently touch my shoulder now and then just to let me know things were going well. That small, thoughtful gesture made such a difference and really sums up the level of care she gives. Chelsea has honestly been the person who’s kept me calm and smiling through what could have been a really daunting experience. She’s an absolute credit to the clinic, and I’m so grateful for all her support. If you’re nervous about dental work or implants, this is the place to go. The team are outstanding.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a fantastic experience with my dental hygienist Fran that I just had to share. Going to the dentist can be daunting, but her kindness and warmth completely changed that for me. She was incredibly nice and made me feel at ease from the moment I sat down. Fantastic experience: I am currently having an implant fitted by Lawrence and Chelsea. They came recommended to me, as the best in Manchester, following a previous bad experience resulting in a failed implant. I have not been disappointed. Lawrence is hugely experienced, skilful and very thorough. Highly professional and stands absolutely by his work. Chelsea has effortlessly re scheduled appointments around my busy commitments and has a very pleasant manner. She has kept me calm and relaxed during what can be a stressful but worthwhile procedure. Fantastic experience: Went to James for a free consultation, which I would recommend to anyone who isn’t sure what they need! It didn’t feel free as I got a full review of my teeth and how they can look better (I had no idea what I needed myself) whilst also making it the most efficient option for me cost-wise. Fast forward a few weeks, I had composite bonding done and 2 veneers. The whole process was extremely smooth and the surgery itself went so quick! My smile looks 10x better and my teeth still look completely natural - I am so happy with them! Thanks again to James specifically but also the rest of the staff at City Centre Dental who made me feel so welcome but also kept the process as seamless as possible.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a root canal treatment done, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. Dr Moheen was able to provide me a painless and stress free procedure with absolute professionalism and care. I was quite worried at the time of my procedure but thankfully Moheen was able to calm my nerves. I was given a thorough explaining of the treatment plan which was again very reassuring and helpful. Overall, I would 100% recommend going to him for any root canal related issues.

Fantastic experience: I was absolutely devastated when my previous hygienist left, however both Gemma and Lily made me feel very welcome, comfortable and very hopeful for the foreseeable future! It was also very educational; I really enjoyed gaining a deeper understanding of dental hygiene for example; the reasons WHY certain things are more effective than others and how something like the order of brushing flossing and mouthwash can affect their efficiency. It’s crystal clear that it isn’t just a job it’s a passion and Gemma is very obviously one of the best there is; I’m incredibly lucky to be able to see her! Fantastic experience: I had not been to a dentist for over 20 years, and was very nervous. I booked in to see Dr Varinder Jhaj, who calmed me from the first minute. He was very thorough with his examination, taking photos and a digital scan of my teeth. I had crowns and a root canal treatment and he provided great care and was very gentle. My dental phobia has gone away and I will be continuing to see him every 6 months for my maintenance. Definitely would recommend Dr Varinder Jhaj especially if you are nervous to see a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had my hygiene session with Gemma and Dana this week, and I couldn't be more grateful that I chose to come here. I usually dread getting my teeth cleaned, but this time, it was a remarkably smooth experience. Gemma took the time to explain what might have caused my dental issues and thoughtfully suggested lifestyle changes that could improve my oral health, such as adjusting my diet and refining my brushing technique. Throughout the session, she occasionally checked in to ensure I was comfortable, which I really appreciated. Negative experience: This place really has gone down hill. Spent 45 minutes on hold this morning with the worst high pitched, horrific, horrendous hold music & nobody answered the phone. I hung up, and called what they list as an "existing" number on their own website, only for a man to answer & tell me that its not the number for the dentist & he has no idea why his number is on their website. The Chat bot will only take your details and get someone to call you back, which is totally useless when you are chasing an cancellation appointments. waste of an hour for nothing

Fantastic experience: Saw Gemma the dental hygienist this morning for the first time ... together with her assistant, Blue. I know some people do not like going to the dentist (I am not one of them by the way but in the past I have found excuses not to go) but everyone at City Centre Dental Practice is so welcoming and make you feel at ease. Gemma and Blue were superb ... they completed a full oral hygiene assessment before carrying hygiene techniques that were far in advance of what I have ever experienced before. Gemma explained everything she was doing and also what extra studies she was undertaking. It filled me with great confidence. She also explained and demonstrated how to use an electric toothbrush to maximise the cleaning of the teeth and also improve gum health ... within minutes you could really feel the difference. In summary, Gemma and Blue were excellent and I have rebooked for 2 months time as part of my overall treatment plan. I cannot recommend them highly enough. As the Pam Eyres ditty went ... "If only I had looked after my tooth!!!"

Negative experience: What a disgrace this dental practice is. Admin staff, including managers is appalling in fact laughable! I was a client of John Hewitt's for eight years including five other members of my family. Everything was first class until John's untimely death, my issue was an agreement with John which equates to several hundred pounds which the clinic now disputes, basically calling me a liar. I have tried to resolve this informally with useless and incompetent staff and head office is just as bad, I am going round in circles. So, this is a warning to future patients. Don't bother look elsewhere! They will reply with a comment probably below, which I've seen on other negative reviews saying they are sorry to hear of my unhappiness blah blah blah. Ignore them!

Summer did the cleaning for me with support from Daniel, and both were incredibly nice and kind and put me at ease throughout (I have extremely high dental anxiety). Negative experience: Standards are dropping. Failure to communicate. Had two appointments, one with the hygienist (Fran) who was excellent. The other with a dentist , Sandra. Sat there waiting 30 minutes overdue. Then the receptionist informs me that Sandra, no longer works with them. How about informing me that the appointment is cancelled and that she is no longer there! You notify me of the change of dentists due to maternity leave (keeping me informed) in advance. And have automated reminders of appointments. But not informing me that that appointment is no longer scheduled because she has no longer works there.Thank you for wasting my time. Someone needs to manage and improve their systems- no feed back emails.Highly disappointed.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking. Have been waiting on a refund of £2600 for 3 weeks now. It's Christmas next week so I can't see it being refunded then. I have rang weekly yet no one has any update or idea what's going on. Will be taking this further if it isn't resolved before Christmas. Unfortunately, would avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: Went for a check up. They founded 4 cavities and asked me if I wanted to get it fix. I said no, I need another opinion as I didn’t believe it because I have a very good hygiene towards my mouth. Went to another dentins and took an X-Ray which it confirmed that they were wrong. I never had cavities and they just wanted MY MONEY. Not profesional at all so if I was you I will stay away from this place.

Negative experience: Absolutely appalled. I was a client of John's for nearly 40 years, and since my last appointment in April 2023, my appointments kept getting cancelled/postponed. I completely and wholeheartedly understand and sympathise with a difficult personal situation, and was deeply saddened to hear of his passing, but what I can't make my peace with, was that the treatment plan/price we had in place is now null and void because THEY kept cancelling my appointments for nearly a year, and now expect me to pay for a new consultation and a higher price for the treatment. Needless to say I have my first appointment at a different dentist today. Goodbye!

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking and unprofessional Reception. I have been a client of the practice for two years and last month had a cancelled appointment for which I am STILL owed a refund. The practice forces you to pay in advance to book, even as an existing client. I have been waiting 6 weeks for my refund but they just keep my money. The reception do not reply to my emails, and when I telephone nothing is done, I’m just told the manager will be in touch. I hear nothing from the manager, who is therefore effectively ignoring me. I have never received such unprofessional, rude service. Should I give up on receiving my refund? I have sent half a dozen emails since 3rd June, and had almost the same amount of telephone calls. Utterly ridiculous and a waste of my time. Whoever took my bank details had no idea what they were doing, they called me back three times in a single day totally confused about my details. It is at the point where I am going to have to ask my husband to go into the practice because I am just being ignored. I work abroad and to keep calling the practice is costing me a fortune, probably more than the refund is worth!! I am so disappointed because the dentist and hygienist I see are amazing but after this experience I will never go there again, nor recommend them to anyone. The manager needs to actually reply to me and sort this out, despicable.

Fantastic experience: I've always had a positive experience with this clinic with both dentists and hygienists. I have been a patient for the past 8 years and the staff are always very professional and personable. This time I was treated by Conor who was exceptional. Fantastic experience: There was a miscommunication when I was booking my dental check up/hygiene apt and so when I arrived I realised I'd paid for just one of the two I believed I had. I had my apt which was amazing, super lovely woman and my teeth have never been this clean, and after raising my concern, I was informed the dentist would see me for a check up as a good will gesture, which I am really thankful for. The dentist was also lovely and would really recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I've been to the clinic twice - once for a general checkup and hygiene dentist and the second time to get two fillings. Ramzan was a terrific dentist - patient, friendly, professional and happy to answer every question. I am very happy with the service I received and also feel like, thanks to Ramzan, I learned how to take care of my teeth better. The whole team in the clinic was professional and kind. I agree with some of the other reviewers who said that the team also has really good taste in music :)

Negative experience: Rip off. I went to have my filling done but came back with a tooth infection which I had to pay for it although was their fault. Then they said I needed root canal etc... I ended up paying nearly £2500 for something that they caused it. I highly do not recommend this place unless if you want to waste your money

Positive experience: The service is great, however I had to have2 fllings instead of one (on the sme tooth) and I stll don't understand why I was charged twice when the dentist didn't do a good job from the first time. Had to change the clinic, unfortunately.
