Fantastic experience: Dr. Sanjay did an incredible job with a tricky broken molar that needed a crown. The broken molar had the roots done 20 years ago and had filling plus the broken piece reached deep below the gum. Sanjay did a superb job saving the tooth and fitting a crown, otherwise it would have needed completely removing and an implant with I wanted to avoid.

Fantastic experience: After 3 years of skipping the dentist, I booked in with Sanjay Parmar after seeing other reviews. Had a solid plan made and worked my way through it at my own pace over a few visits, ‘mydentist’ were super accommodating and patient with me along the way due to some rescheduling and unavailability on my part. Sanjay is an amazing dentist. He was very welcoming, explained everything in as much detail as I required, and took extreme care in getting the required work done exactly right each visit. Seems increasingly rare to get this sort of attention to detail and care these days from services, which is what you want when spending money, especially when it’s also for something as important as your teeth. All the reception staff are all extremely helpful and friendly too, and will go out of their way to help you. You can’t go wrong with getting treatment done here! Thanks all!

Fantastic experience: I visited Sanjay today, I'm always apprehensive and nervous when I go to the dentist and he put me at ease, he spoke in detail about the current situation of my teeth in a way that I could understand, was attentive and genuinely cared, agreed a care plan with me and asked me about what I wanted in the future without trying to force a sale of retainers etc, he made me feel like I was in control of my situation, this visit has helped me gain confidence in booking in again, I would recommend to anybody who is nervous about the dentist to visit Sanjay !

Fantastic experience: Overall the Stevenson Square branch is clean, friendly, helpful, polite...all the positives you want in a dentist's surgery. More specifically, Jessica, dental therapist, and Madison, dental nurse, are amazing. I have never needed any dental work, so for me having a deep clean is traumatic and panic attack-inducing. These two patient and kind ladies totally put me at ease and stayed very quiet and respectful throughout my appointment. They allowed me to lead the appointment and waited while I took a minute to get my composure. This was the first time I've been able to sit through an entire clean without having to call it to a premature end. Thank you both so much.

Fantastic experience: I’m so pleased to be registered here. Kostas is a brilliant dentist and was exceedingly patient and diligent. He takes great care to explain treatment, answer any questions and put me at ease despite how nervous I was to have fillings replaced (done previously by a different dentist at a different practice.) He was communicative throughout and made sure I was in no discomfort. It was totally refreshing and has really alleviated any anxiety I have around going to the dentist! I cannot recommend him enough for his clear knowledge, professionalism and kindness.

Had to have multiple fillings done and have a tooth removed while pregnant and he went out of his way to accommodate me and to fit in all my appointments within a short timeframe moving things around to make it happen. Negative experience: I attended here for an emergency appointment, under the NHS. I was advised quite abruptly to have 2 teeth extracted, and quoted £4,000 per tooth for drill ins. There was very little discussion of other options, and I was made to believe I couldn't preserve those teeth at all. No discussion. I was also advised to assess the rest of my teeth, implying they are in a bad way. The dentist was cold, inconsiderate and to be honest, patronising. I visited a private dentist for a second opinion, and alongside an X ray he assessed my teeth in much deeper detail - removing the fillings to assess the severity and the depth of the cavity before full diagnosis. On this assessment, he believes he can preserve both teeth, offering me a root canal and believes extraction on the other tooth was simply too severe of a diagnosis and with some minor work this tooth will be absolutely fine. His manner was calm, he spent a long time with me investigating and discussion all options, and now we have a clear plan forward with every detail explained. I was not made to feel rushed or judged. He also assessed the rest of my teeth and reassured me they are fine - as I was left feeling very anxious. Unfortunately Kyle at mydentist allowed for very little discussion of options or routes forward. I can only believe this is because I was an NHS patient, and assumptions were made about my income / finances, alongside the fact NHS patients are given very little time, so perhaps the appointment was rushed and stones were left unturned. Don't judge your patients income, intelligence or lifestyle before you deliver such a severe diagnosis or recommendation, and if you believe a longer, private appointment is necessary to fully evaluate, then recommend it vs. jumping straight to conclusions. Certainly consider your demeanour and your delivery when talking to people, too.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful Experience at My Dentist in Stevenson Square. After a really poor experience at a previous dentist in town, I booked in online with Matthew Edwards - It was really easy to book on and very good value. Matt was amazing, made me feel really comfortable and thoroughly explained each step of the procedure and what to moving forwards. My teeth look and feel amazing and I will definitely be coming back and recommending Matt and his team to everyone I know in Manchester.

Fantastic experience: I have recently been in very bad health and unfortunately this has had a knock on effect on my Dental Health. I had a bridge fitted at the Dentist over 5 years ago that failed due to my recent ill health and weakened teeth. My Dentist Kostas tried to recement the failed bridge several times but this has proved unsuccessful due to one of the teeth that was holding the bridge in place being badly damaged. The gap where the bridge was has made me very insecure and affected my mental health and Kostas has spent time outside my scheduled appointments to not only attempt to recement the failed bridge but to talk to me about my options for future dental work to close the gap where the missing teeth were now as a new bridge is not an option. He has listened to me whilst I told him about the impact the missing teeth has been having on my self esteem and mental health. He really has gone above and beyond the duties of a dentist and provided me a fantastic level of care. I really couldnt recommend him as a dentist enough and the service of the whole dental practice in general as the reception team have all been incredibly helpful and accommodating in trying to fit me in for emergency appointments to get Kostas to temporarily refit my bridge whilst a permanent solution is decided.

Fantastic experience: My Dentist Matthew Edwards has to be the best Dentist I've ever come across in my life. He has kept my teeth in Excellent condition and always looked out for my welfare. Today I had a root canal to be done and he was so good as I did not feel any pain at all and also whilst doing the root canal I fell asleep three times. The procedure did not make me uncomfortable in anyway. I honestly think the service here is absolutely amazing and recommend by my Dentist. They always look out for you there.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointed and Deeply Concerned. I visited this dental practice after moving to the area. I’ve always taken good care of my teeth—regular check-ups all my life, two minor fillings, and no major issues. My last dental check-up was just six months prior at my previous dentist, where I was told everything looked great. However, at this new practice, after a quick X-ray, I was told I suddenly needed nine fillings—a treatment plan totaling £1,500. I was handed a mirror while the dentist pointed out black dots on my molars, insisting they were cavities that needed urgent attention. When I asked if we could prioritise treatment or break it down into stages, I was told they all had to be done immediately. Naturally, I was alarmed and sought a second (and third) opinion. Thankfully, I was in a position to do so. I visited two different, reputable dentists, both of whom conducted new X-rays and thorough examinations. Both confirmed that there was nothing wrong with my teeth. The black dots I was shown? Merely staining, not decay—something easily addressed with a specialist clean, not drilling. This experience left me shocked and deeply concerned. I feel compelled to warn others: always get a second opinion if something doesn’t feel right (if you can) If I hadn’t, I might have undergone completely unnecessary, invasive, and expensive treatment.

Negative experience: had three fillings here a year ago. initial experience was fine, the price was very good - had I given a review a year ago, it would easily have been a 4 or 5 star review. However, a year later, one of my teeth has rotted through: the dentist here did not clean the tooth adequately before putting the filling in, and so trapped bacteria under there which happily ate away at my tooth for a full year. I have now had to have (at a different dentist) a very expensive crown placed over the little that remains of my tooth. Terrible experience.

Told would need to pay £125.00 over the phone upfront before I got to see the dentist. When I questioned this & said, I would rather not pay up front until I have seen the dentist and know what treatment I will get for that £125.00 I was just told. " Well I need to take it up front" Absolute Scam. So, If I pay £125.00 In advance, see the dentist who then says, " Oh you need to come back from more treatment, Book another appointment" there is then another charge. Utter con.

I arrived late due to a misunderstanding with my appointment time, and instead of handling it professionally, the staff—particularly a young male receptionist—spoke to me in an unnecessarily condescending way, as if I were a child being scolded. Rather than simply rebooking, he lectured me about being late in a dismissive and unprofessional tone. His attitude was completely unnecessary and left me feeling disrespected. A bit of basic courtesy wouldn’t hurt. Needless to say, I won’t be returning. And by the way, I am not an NHS patient. I am registered as one, but I pay for all my services—last time, I paid over £400. The way I was treated was unacceptable.”**

Negative experience: Cannot change my temperal filling to permanent filling,left the temporary in my mouth in all my life, however suggested me to refill my good tooth using the trust as a dentist, however when when the refill a slightly high, remove all the filling above my tooth away, didn't stop to let me test high or not, then send me go without test again, made me deep bite and broken many teeth due to remove the sharp, her suggested refill, when return to the dentist to repair this, could not refill the tooth but sent me hospital for her low filling to adjust all my teeth, left me spending my left life to eat liquid food, however want me pay for the fees when I return to her although she could not refill it, although it was her to suggest to refill the tooth then remove my new filling outstanding from my tooth completely, using all my left life to fight her low filling in target. Her referral me to hospital was rejected, maybe she forgot to write due to her remove my new filling made me living not like a human being, my left life only can eat liquid food, so the hospital refused her referral for no enough data provided. Now I used the temporary filling in the dental as if my permanent to live, and using tooth guard at night to prevent her low refilling making my teeth deep bite each other, as all my teeth around the filling have changed colour, enamel lost, filling inside exposed. I called suicide number to find somebody speaking at night, for the lower filling made my teeth deep bite, pain and the emergency in the dental had no idea for they are my good teeth pain and crash themselves, but a dental called expert in the dental said, it is my teeth crash themselves after the refilling, not the dentist. However the dentist wants me pay for the visit to repair the filling, although she told me, she could not refill it, and nobody can refill it, for after she refilled it, refilling it has become dangerous to the tooth which is a good tooth so refill third time who'll broken the good tooth. Sometimes living need encourage. How I can live with life after the tooth? It's too low and before she refilling it, it was a coupus, a sharp, in my biggest tooth. If. Somebody really wants to investigate this, can see the CCTV in her dentist room, when I said a little high, she removed all my filling outside my tooth at once time, didn't like other dentist, made it a little lower, then test my tooth higher or lower, what she did, removed all the filling outside the tooth, made a flat tooth, then asked me go without any test. She used the tooth punished my left life. I didn't know the dentist before I came to the dental. I wanted to cancel the appointment before my refilled day, for it was the dentist wanted to refill it, not me, but the reception told me, if I cancel appointment in same day, I will not be a NHS patience there, not I am regreted why must be a NHS patience in mydental practice, then using all my left life to repair it, if I still have left life. When I return to the mydental practice in emergency for the lower filling made my other tooth crashed and pain, I was told just eating liquid food and waiting the dentist to have a look. After two weeks, the dentist had a look my tooth, but told me can't do anything for me, left me 'enjoy,' my left eating liquid food. I have given my meat in my fridge to other people, for after the dentist suggested me to refill the tooth, she made me only eat liquid food. Before I saw the dentist last Friday, I kept my meat in my fridge and said when I return from mydental practice I eat. After I returned from my dental, I understood I could not eat them forever. The dentist wants me pay for my visit to repair the filling, although she could not repair it. Whether there's somebody told me, I should pay her the £26.8 for mydental Manchester making me suffering so much no finish day? Whether really there is somebody want to investigate in CCTV, have a look when the dentist lower my filling, shre didn't lower step by step, test it higher or not, but removed all coupus, the sharp, then let my go, suffer it

Negative experience: All my family and friends is stay with my dentist. I did not using dentists service since Covid, tried to book an appointment today but the reception told me can’t find my details and I was removed from the practice because not been there 5 years. Is ridiculous to hear that because I never received any letter or email or message inform me , I am not their patient anymore. They didn’t inform me either when I bring my children to the dentist few months ago. Is really disappointed to my dentist.

Fantastic experience: From beginning to end, my experience with this dentist has been second to none! From the reception staff to Sanjay, my amazing dentist who I have been so lucky to have looking after me on my invisilign journey! He has gone above & beyond for me through my whole treatment & after care and made it go so smoothly and answered all my questions / queries with confidence and has just really looked after me! I feel very lucky to be a patient at this dentist, as like most people, it’s not my favourite place to attend but all the staff , including Sanjay make me feel at home and cannot do enough for you! More importantly, I am so happy with my finished smile and couldn’t have asked for a better result! Thank you Sanjay - in my eyes, without a doubt, BEST there is!!!!!!!!!! Also just want to say a special thanks to Kyle too who has done my filling treatments & root canal, I am such a cryer when it comes to pain, but he always makes me feel super relaxed and comfortable and even when friends/family have came with me to get treatments they always comment on how lovely the dentists are and how safe it feels Thank you again!

Negative experience: awful service, called up on the Friday to register as an NHS patient and was told they would sort it if I called back on Monday. I called as they opened, sat on hold for 45 minutes to be told they had so many calls and no more openings, no waiting list, and I could do the same again at the start of nov. tried to get me to join as a private patient, however, so I'm spending more money, really poor service!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Sanjay Parmar at mydentist for a few years now and I couldn’t recommend him or the whole staff more. I’ve had check ups, cleans, fillings, teeth whitening, composite bonding, and even veneers. Each time I’ve been I’ve felt so confident and reassured in Sanjay’s skill, patience and support, more so than any other dentist I’ve been to. And the administrative staff are all lovely, kind and supportive. Booking appointments and getting treatment has been such a breeze. I’d absolutely recommend this practice as a place to go for anyone looking for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Sanjay has been nothing short of fantastic. I’ve always wanted to do something about my front teeth gap and finally decided to do composite bonding. It looks so good and the whole process was very thorough. I would completely recommend doing it with him! Ruth is also great as a hygienist. Negative experience: Having been a long term loyal patient at this practice for over 12 years, I was pretty upset and peed off when they struck me off their NHS patients list recently. I missed two appointments within two months (from work appointments), I stressed at the time of making them, I needed the latest appointments because I would be coming from work and I finish at 4.30pm. Previous appointment I’ve been able to book a 5.00pm slot, but for some reason they weren’t available anymore. Being told I’m being struck off the patients list for missing two appointments, but when on the phone they are advertising spaces for NHS patients. Also explaining, I still visit the surgery to see the hygienist twice a year on a dental plan, but I would not be able to see the dentist. But if I wanted to register as a private patient, I’m more than welcome. Yeah, I wonder why? ££££££££££ They struck me off the list a couple of year previously for missing appointments, I had to remind the manager we were in lockdown during a world wide pandemic, we weren’t allowed to leave our house unless it was essential. I didn’t miss the appointments intentionally, the whole world was in lockdown. They later placed me back on the NHS list with a new dentist who just started at the practice. Being messed around by this dental surgery, having to deal with their unprofessional reception staff, having to accept appointments can be cancelled whenever it suits the dentist, but no flexibility when you’re struggling to make appointments from work commitments. I can not and will not recommend this dental practice to anyone, to my friends, family or colleagues. If you have to pay to go private, I would certainly recommend other dental surgeries who atleast attempt to cater to their patients needs. Staying open later, offering later and weekend appointments. If I go private, I will not be paying for this level of mediocre customer service.

Fantastic experience: Sanjay Parmar is my dentist at 'my dentist' I have 2 children age 4 and 1, and each time we visit he does an amazing job with them checking their teeth, there are no tears because he works his magic!! My husband has needed alot of work on his teeth because (nervous of injections). Sanjay chases him to ensure he books to have his regular checkups. Sanjay recommends what he thinks is best for our teeth. I have had a black filling replaced, there was a risk of 'a halo' being created on the tooth and it's perfect! When I smile I feel 100% confident!!!

Fantastic experience: Great Customer Service, patient, understanding, caring & can do attitude. Lillian on the front desk recently went above and beyond in recent visit - I am new to the country, and I had many many many questions trying to wrap my brain about this complex complex NHS system - nhs vs private - she consistently kept answering all the questions even when I said last question about 5 times she kept on answering. FYI your sms survey text you send out you cant reply to just says error. Even just recently I rang again and she answered as I wanted to ask questions on behalf of someone - she could of done what all the other dentists say sorry full, not taking anyone - but again she made sure I understood the process, and she was like I helped you the other day didnt I how can I help - great customer service.
