Fantastic experience: I've been a patient here for a while now after going through a few years post covid of struggling to get a dentist. The staff here are so friendly and efficient. Amrit my dentist is brilliant. I've had NHS and private work done and been so pleased with my transformation. I have my confidence back as can now smile. I still have more work I want doing but that will happen over time. Amrit gave me very clear and direct advice at first in order to get on top of my gum health. I followed it and now im at the point of results. Also I would like to say I've never been in pain during or after my treatment. I cannot rate this dentist highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Called here at 9am on a Saturday morning is desperation for my 20 year old daughter who had spent the night in agony. The woman who answered the phone was friendly and managed to squeeze her in, ten minutes later I got a phone call saying they'd got a cancellation and got us in earlier. The dentist and dental nurse were very friendly, explained what was wrong and treated her promptly. Daughter said she'd go back there if she needed emergency treatment again, which is high praise indeed. We have a regular dentist closer to home but I am very thankful for quick, kind and efficient Saturday service provided here.

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency dentist and it was a Saturday, found this place online , It was so easy to book an appointment online for sunday morning. On arrival the receptionist was lovely, got me booked in and I was seen within 20 minutes, the waiting room was very busy.. Dentist was lovely too, id had a root canal 4 days ago at my own dentist surgery and was in quite abit of pain, she listened and took xrays and prescribed me some antibiotics to follow up with my own dentist. I will definitely use this dentist again if I'm in an emergency , but I hoping i don't need to return

Negative experience: Awful experience. The reception staff were lovely and kept me in the loop when my appointment was delayed, so I have no complaints about them. However my dentist was useless to say the least. Came in for an emergency appointment sorted by 111, jaw pain from wisdom teeth coming in at a funny angle. Been stuck like that for years, just wanted them gone so I could stop being in pain with them. Dentist barely looked at my teeth, gave them a rinse, and told me to get antibiotics (I mean that's fine) but to remove the top back tooth. I went "you sure you don't mean the bottom one?" And they insisted in referring for the top one. My top wisdom is fine and perfectly healthy. I tried to contextualise my pain for them but they seemed to not take any of it into consideration. I went for a second opinion yesterday at a different practice and was promptly told my previous dentist had made a serious lapse in judgement and could have made things worse if he had removed that tooth. Will never come back here, I worry about if they've done this to anyone else and the patient didn't know any better to get a second opinion. Neglectful and rude dentist.

I went in to have my tooth taken out, the dentist and nurses were super helpful in telling me what options I had and what the best course of action would be in my situation. The dentist was super quick but very patient and professional through out the procedure. I cannot thank the nurse who was present enough. Lorna. She was soo kind and beyond reassuring. She put me at ease and held my hand through it. Just absolutely lovely little dentist with the best staff. Cannot thank you all enough.

Sal and Anita were incredible, so friendly and welcoming and really put me at ease. I’ve seen them again for further treatment and I’m now a regular patient. Because of them, my fear has gone. Fantastic experience: Initially visited as an emergency referral from the NHS I was given an appointment the next day and had a temporary filling which instantly stopped the pain, it then took 2 weeks but I was able to get took on as a NHS patient and have been seen 3 times since, last time yesterday to have a tooth extracted, I was petrified to say the least, the receptionist’s are lovely and very calming and my dentist Amrit is amazing I can’t thank him enough, the process was quick and painless and he was so patient as I did panic a bit. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, I’m so happy I was able to be took on as a patient, big thank you to everyone there.

Fantastic experience: Lovely clean and modern environment at Rainworth Dental that helps you feel welcome and relaxed. I went with my daughter for a check up and a clean. Sal was my dentist for the day, this was my first appointment with him. My daughter was a little nervous but she did not need to be; Sal was amazing, he’s professional, calming and gentle. He gives appropriate advice and is informative. Just want to say thank you to him and his assistant Shaunna who was also kind and gentle with my daughter too. Needless to say we have both requested Sal for our future appointments.

During the worst pain of my life from an infected broken tooth, all the dentists I called in Chesterfield said they don't do emergency appointments for non-patients, so after a quick Google search I found the Rainworth dentist, booked online and was at my appointment a few hours later. The dentist was lovely. Saw the pain I was in and the state of my tooth and took it out. I was in and out in 5 minutes and relatively pain free (a little soreness now the numbness is fading. So very happy.

I came this afternoon really scared as I don’t like the dentist and Sati made me feel comfortable and relaxed and did things at my pace when I was ready, she took me step by step and talked me through everything! Shaunna helped me when my mouth was completely numb and was right beside me! Couldn’t recommend these two girls enough!

Negative experience: It's been a bit of a nightmare. I came to this dentist through an emergency 111 call after experiencing excruciating toothache. I was able to get an appointment a few days later with an emergency dentist, who didn't find anything wrong and suggested it might be stress-related. Still, I booked another appointment with a regular dentist because I was pretty sure something was wrong. This dentist immediately spotted that I had severe decay in my lower back tooth that needed either a root canal or extraction, so I was referred to a specialist. Another week later, I saw the specialist, who seemed confident that a root canal could save the tooth. It was an expensive option, but I felt it was worth the cost to try to save it. So, I booked the procedure. Unfortunately, during the surgery, it turned out the damage was too extensive, and I was given the option to either continue or have it extracted. At that point, I felt I had suffered enough, so I decided to have it removed. To be fair, the dentist who did the root canal and her assistant were both really great. They made me feel at ease and explained everything that was happening. I immediately booked an appointment for the extraction. A few days after the surgery, I was back again, in agony. It turns out the tooth had become infected, despite my best efforts to keep it clean by regularly rinsing with mouthwash. I was prescribed antibiotics, which thankfully did the trick. A week later, the day of the extraction arrived, but on the same day, I received a phone call informing me that my appointment had been canceled due to sickness. The best they could offer for rebooking was nearly two weeks later. At this point, I became concerned about the possibility of reinfection, as I had been warned that extracting an infected tooth could be extremely painful, even with anesthesia. I emailed them to ask if they could move the appointment forward or refer me to a different dentist, but I received no response. Finally, the day of the extraction came. I went in, thinking everything would be fine since I wasn't in pain. However, when the dentist started pulling the tooth, it was really painful. To their credit, the dentist and the assistant were great at calming me down, as I kept tensing up and involuntarily holding my breath because of the pain. It took a few attempts, but we eventually got through it. So, yeah. I feel like something has gone really wrong here, organizationally. I believe the long wait to get seen contributed to some of the worst pain I've had to endure in a long time. My fear of dentists feels well and truly justified now.

Fantastic experience: I had a hygienist visit with Sati. She was fantastic from start to finish. I'm a very nervous patient, and Sati managed to put me at ease almost immediately. Nothing I requested was a bother, and she checked in with me all the way through. I'm feeling a lot less stressed about my future visit in a few weeks' time. Rainworth Dental staff as a collective are spot on with the care they give. Can't imagine visiting another dental branch.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I recently joined this practice after they were recommended by a friend. They are easily the best dentists we've ever used. Friendly, caring staff who couldn't do enough to look after us as we both have anxiety issues. The dentist we both saw - Juliana - and her assistants were amazing. If you can get in there they are, in our opinion, superb. At the time of writing this they are taking on new NHS patients.

Fantastic experience: He was pure gentleman and put me a tease. What was wrong with ma tooth? The place was very nice and clean and very tired. They have got stairs going up to the dentist. But they have got a Lyft as well, excellent place to go.

Negative experience: Butchered my teeth while having me spend hundreds just on appointments some appointments not even 2 minutes long then in the end refused to do the cosmetic work. I went to them for a filling but ended up on a long year course of constant appointments and "work" needed, one dentist told me your fine you can book cosmetic just to go in and be told oh you need 2 fillings and so on and i had to pay for that appointment of course! must of spent over £600 here just to get absolutely no where except worse teeth than before i went in. All my teeth have dents missing out of them from when the dentist did me a polish and scraped all my enamel off all around top of my teeth near the gums, never did the first filling correctly which caused the tooth next to it to also need a filling which they ended up giving me 2 silver fillings instead without even asking, second appointment for cosmetic i was interrogated about my income like would i be sat there asking for cosmetic if i didn't have a job or cant afford it? just to be told again my teeth are not in a good position to be worked on cosmetically and i would need even more work! so this is now twice i have been booked in by my dentist literally a room away for cosmetic just to be told oh they are wrong you need more work! even my dentist was questioning what she was even on about and couldn't believe the things she was writing down but went ahead and did them anyway. After well over a year i got depressed and stopped going to the dentist all together, i felt nobody cared and just wanted my money! after a while i ended up going elsewhere expecting a long list of things wrong and needing attention but i did not get this instead i got a understanding dentist who could clearly tell the damage to my teeth was done by a instrument and gave me composite bonding on 6 teeth which is what i wanted to begin with! a process at Rainworth that dragged on for over a year to get no where was completed at this dentist within 3 days! only thing good about Rainworth is friendly people but they only want your money! feel like if i went back to them i would still to this day be jumping through hoops just to get cosmetic work done.

Fantastic experience: I initially came to see Dr Ebun, regarding Invisalign treatment. She was very informative regarding the whole process, and rather than throwing straight into it, she helped regarding anything else I needed beforehand. I required a tooth extraction, and to me, especially after all the googling (not ideal I know) I was petrified. The idea of being sedated or put to sleep scared me soo much. Ebun gave me her full confidence and reassurance. As well as her lovely nurse Lorna, but she even held my hand and calmed my nerves. They spoke to me throughout the whole process, and most importantly she didn’t rush, which left my second appointment feeling soo much calmer and at ease with it, I felt like a different person haha. I’m forever grateful for the level of comfort given by this practice, all of the staff are soo friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I can’t recommend them enough! Thankyou!

On arrival, meet by very pleasant and friendly staff, receptionist, nurse and dentist. Procedure went very smoothly, and staff very sympathetic over my needle phobia ! I would recommend the team at RDC, for anyone needing dental treatment or help.

Positive experience: I attended on a 111 emergency appointment. The appointment was handled professionally with text reminders & pre-treatment forms. Reception provided good customer service due to cheerfulness. Dentist was good at explaining what was happening & why plus, they were mindful of my comfort. Hygienist was friendly. A decent experience, which resolved my issue. Sadly no aftercare advice given but this was easy to find on Google, but perhaps something to consider for the future. Overall a pleasurable experience & would recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: After 2 nonths of trying to get 111 to sort an NHS emergency appointment for dental pain and being fobbed off, finally when the problem has progressed to 'more serious' an appointment was finally sorted.. I originally requestted one at a practice that does weekend treatment and suggested Rainworth as one that does. 111 had other ideas. According to their information Rainworth wasn't an option. Closed at weekends apparently. Incorrect. I must have called 111 over 20 times in that 2 month period with no satisfactory outcome. Today, I insisted. I rang Ranworth to establish the emergency treatment situation. There were appointments available for Saturday and Sunday but only with a 111 referral. Ringing 111 for a second time I specifically requested a referral to Rainworth, more or less having to swear an oath I was telling the truth about the practice status. It took several goes but at long last was rewarded with the long sought after 'emergency treatment' It was like pulling teeth! Ok, the treatment is of a temporary nature only and still leaves me with the issue of trying to find a dentist taking on NHS patients........ Goid luck with that one I hear you cry. My gripe with rhis whole 111 thing is that, if the treatment had been organised earlier the treatment would have been minor. Due to the bureaucratic delay and procrastination the problem has deteriorated to requiring the accursed root canal in order to save the tooth. Either that or an extraction and who wants that? Teeth don't grow on trees and every effort should be made to save them and prolong their life, without having to take a pot of gold along to solve the problem. There will be a complaint being sent regarding the methods employed by 111.

Fantastic experience: The best Dentist by far! Cannot thank Dentist Martine, Nurse Denise and another Nurse (she wears a tooth on her Crocs ) enough for making my daughters experience a positive one! Staff are always very kind, caring, have a great sense of humour and go above and beyond when treating their patients. They have put an extremely anxious Daisy at ease whilst having several teeth removed for orthodontist treatment and she has left the Dentist happy. Would definitely recommend!
