They were so welcoming, patient, and kind — taking the time to explain everything in a way that made the kids feel comfortable and even excited about their visit. Fantastic experience: A different dentist this time names Ruby who was very patient and gentle (as I’m a nervous patient) encouraged me to see hygienist as very much needed but my worst nightmare. Millie the dental nurse was amazing at reassuring me and suggesting how my anxieties could be worked through. Managed to see hygienist Win who was wonderful and talked me through everything. Positive experience: Needed an emergency appointment. Phone was answered was put on hold then call was cut off after 30 secs. Re-dialled and was placed as number one in the call queue. Gave up after 8 mins. Tried later on with same result. Not impressed! Following day, same time, got through straight away and appointment arranged.

Fantastic experience: Can you believe a visit to the dentist cheered up a Friday afternoon! Beth happy as always, Omid professional as always and I got to meet a gentleman 10 days from his 101st birthday, just having had a wisdom tooth out giving advice to a young lad about cleaning his teeth before he goes to bed, perfect.

Positive experience: Good reception. Hygienist was superb. I dislike the idea of having to fill in a long medical questionnaire every time before the appointment. A more appropriate questionnaire should ask what has changed the since the last appointment.

Fantastic experience: Appointment with Francisco on 21st June. Both ladies at reception were polite and friendly. His clinician met me and took me through. Both she and Francisco were welcoming and friendly. Francisco took the time to explain what the probable outcome would be for my remaining upper teeth in the next few years and how to deal with having a full denture. Not something I am looking forward to, but he made it seem doable.

Negative experience: If you know anyone with a huge ego, send them here. They'll come out feeling less than human. Receptionists are lovely, but the others? I've been to other dentists before relocating, and never have I been made to feel so awful about what's happening in my mouth. People often compliment my teeth. But not here. No matter what you do, it will be wrong: flossing, brushing, type of toothbrush, mouthwash, how you hold the toothbrush, everything. You will spend all your savings here because they will always find a problem so that you go back. Also dislike that they call to chase you to book your next appointment. If I still had money left, wouldn't I call to book my appointment? The dentists keep asking questions so that they can look at you with judgemental expressions and say something condescending. It's like a "I'm going to catch you out" interview. Been for multiple appointments now, and all the dentists/hygenists are the same. Finding a new dentist now.

I was given an appointment for today, and 5 hours after the initial call, I've got a new filling in time for my holiday. Negative experience: I have been a patient here for 30+ years, have not been offered any preventative treatments for over 10 checkups, resulting in my dentist saying I need a lot of work done, and that none could be done at this practice. This has left me feeling confused and having to look for another dentist. Update: I have to double down om my criticism now I have had a 2ed opinion. It could be I have just found the best dentist ever and this practise is just average, but I suspect not.

Fantastic experience: My daughter needed a last minute appointment and I was pleasantly surprised they were able to accommodate us almost straight away. We saw Omid and Beth who were super friendly and helpful. Explained exactly what the issue was and how to resolve it. Would highly recommend!

Negative experience: I visit the hygienist on a regular basis. Win always does a good job,all the staff are pleasant and polite. However I was told that my next visit (November 25), was going to cost £100). I am appalled at the over 20% increase. I cannot imagine how this can be justified. I have used this dental surgery since moving to Portsmouth over 3 years ago, I will now go elsewhere. I know that the localMP is very concerned at the lack of affordable dental provision in Portsmouth ,and I will be writing to him on this issue of unjustified increases for this service.

Negative experience: Shocking treatment, paid over £500 for a crown that has broken and fallen out a subsequent 3 times only to be told the practitioner (now retired) was self employed so either take him to court for the costs or basically pay again for a new 1. My 7yr old daughter chipped her tooth, we were told we had to pay £46 over the phone just to get the child seen and that it would probably cost another £160 for her treatment, all this before seeing her. My wife had a crown fitted and it snapped whilst sitting in the dentist's chair. The Manager is a joke, hasn't got a clue about the business at all. I questioned her opinion/advice with 1 of the Dentists and he basically told me not to listen to her as she's not clinical!!! Why put her in charge then? She couldn't run a bath. All they care about is money money money, should be ashamed of their customer service let alone the shoddy work they carry out there. If I could i'd give zero stars but it won't let me post this without at least 1. If you have deep pockets and don't mind paying through the nose for crap Dentistry then this is the place for you. We're off to a new Practice....

This showed up a chipped front tooth. Returned next day for remedy and can honestly say that you cannot see the repair...! Practice charges are creeping up, not the fault of the dentist I feel. Would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Attended an open day so that I can learn more about dental implants. I came at the allotted time, was warmly welcomed by staff and did not have to wait long before I was seen by Dr Francisco. Francisco was friendly and comprehensive. Did a thorough examination and talked me through the different options. My tooth extraction site still needs further healing and booked to go back in a further couple of months. Everything I’ve experienced so far has given me the require as assurances that I will have an excellent job done.

Negative experience: I rang at 10.15 on Wednesday morning to move a hygienist appointment booked for Thursday at 9.55 as I was unwell - this was obvious as I had hardly any voice. I was told that as it was less than 24 hours, I would be charged as they wouldn't be able to fill the slot and the dentist would lose money. There was no compassion or flexibility- bearing in mind I rang 23 hours and 40 minutes before my appointment! I'm not sure what difference an extra 20 minutes would have made. As a result I dragged myself in for the appointment and just hope I didn't infect anyone. I have been a loyal customer for a number of years and have never missed an appointment. I understand a cancellation policy is necessary, but to be so inflexible over 20 minutes struck me as jobsworth and unnecessary. I have emailed to piont out my dusaapoimt and dissatisfaction but have yet to receive a response. In the past I have always found the staff helpful and friendly but on this occasion I felt unfairly treated.

Negative experience: Not good. All previous dental work done less than 6 months ago has either broken or come loose. That previous dentist has now left the practice and I have no come back but to repay another dentist to fix his work. AVOID.
